saiki is a homebody through and through, the sanctuary of his home (despite the ruckus his parents cause with all their requests) was undefeated. however, upon meeting you there was now an extra person in his home at all moments. it took some time - and i mean TIMEEE, to get used to you being all in his personal space like this.

you touched all his shit, ate his food, and annoyed him to the depths of hell and back, he absolutely hated having you over…or so he thought.

the more you swung by his house for movie nights, sleepovers, study sessions, whatever the case was. the more he valued your company- and you as a person to be truthful. it never set in to him how nice it was to have someone be present with him, even if it was just for a few hours and you guys didn’t talk much it still meant a lot to him.

maybe you weren’t that bad afterall.

02 - the mall

with saiki not being the biggest fan of outdoor excursions like this, the mall was somewhere you frequented. it could be for new clothes, new shoes, or more bags (which lets be honest…you didn’t need more of ANY of these items.)

but whenever you did go, saiki tagged right along with you. at first it was mainly due to the promise of coffee jelly right after your shopping spree, but as time passed and you two became closer, the promise of coffee jelly was just a plus. it was no longer an incentive to get him to go anywhere with you because these outings slowly became a routine for him. if you were going out he automatically came with and vice versa.

even if being in public was a hassle for him *cough cough psychic powers* he didn’t mind it too much anymore. of course he’d still complain like it was, but each trip to the mall with you was a new memory to cherish.

01 - your house

your home environment was quite different from his own, it was quiet and peaceful. no unnecessary shouting or people constantly asking him for things, it was somewhere where he could actually relax and enjoy his time however he wished.

your room specifically is where he preferred to stay the most, your bed was comfy enough for him to fall straight asleep on and you never said a word when he did. not to mention all the snacks you had in hidden away in the cupboard right below your nightstand. it amazed him how often you kept everything stocked up for when you had friends over, nendou would eat all of it in a heartbeat if he saw it which is why he, kaidou, and kuboyasu had to stay on the hush hush about it.

the biggest reason he enjoyed being at your house so much was the fact you mentioned that you were picky on who you gave your time to. the fact he even got to take naps in your room whenever he pleased opened his eyes to how much you valued having him around, he felt honored even.

being in your life as much as you were in his - and enjoying it at that, is what solidified you as his best friend. and even if he didn’t say it often (or at all on most occasions) he enjoyed having you around as well. he enjoyed coming over, touching all your shit, eating your food, and annoying you to the depths of hell and back.

now as for spencer, you'd both reluctant to house sit for rossi but spencer told you that it'd be ok bc he was going to house sit too so you finally agree but when the day came spence would drag you out of bed and he's all "we'll get more alone time this wayyy" bc everyone always teases u for being in a relationship

“ughh..” you moan as you get a text from rossi. spencer sat down with dinner and looked at you with knitted eyebrows. you showed him your phone and he smiled.

“he texted me too asking if i could house sit. i guess he’s just trying to see if one of us will house sit, or both of us” you whine and throw your head back, spencer laughing at you. he leaned over and kissed your exposed neck, nudging his nose against yours. “just say yes. it’s gonna be fun, i’m gonna be there too!” 

“yeah like that helps” you tease and he pokes your stomach, making you jump.

“but just think. that beautiful pool, the kitchen, his speakers all around his home..” you hum and kiss him, smiling against his lips. “you in?”

“as long as i’m with you, handsome”

a couple days later, you and spencer had to wake up early to meet rossi at his house before he left on that friday. spencer was all ready and showered, while you were still very sound asleep. 

spencer smoothed out his button up in the mirror, turning around and placing his hands on either side of you. spencer softly kisses your shoulder, collarbone, neck, jaw, cheek, nose and lips and smiling as you stir. “wake up, gorgeous girl. we’ve got some house sitting to do” 

you groan, trying to pull the sheets over your head and failing as spencer’s hands press against the covers. “spencer, can’t we just stay here? i love rossi, i just don’t want to do anything”

“we can do nothing at his house. especially that pool. and we can have alone timeee. no penelope barging in on us, they’ll never know where we are” he mumbled against your neck, planting a soft kiss on your skin. you smile, looking at him and running your fingers through his hair. 

“alright.. i’m in” you sigh and spencer kisses you all over your face, exciting to finally be alone with you. you take a shower and put on your bathing suit under shorts and a t-shirt, spencer watching you with a sparkle in his eyes. “did you-”

“-pack? yes. i packed both of our bags. shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, all of what we need” you wrap your arms around his neck and push your fingers into his hair at the back of his head. “i’m really happy to be with you.. and only you.. for the whole weekend” 

“well if we keep standing here, we’re not getting anywhere! come on, spence” you grab his hand and your bag, spencer grabbing his and you tape a note to penelope’s door before she could wake up. you two sneak out and run down the stairs of the apartment building.

spencer drove as you sat shotgun, singing the songs obnoxiously with the windows down. spencer couldn’t help but laugh, kissing you at every red light and stop sign. you guys finally pulled into rossi’s driveway, grabbing your bags and running to the door. 

you knock on the door and hear ‘it’s open!’ spencer gives you a quick kiss before you both walk in, david throwing his arms up in happiness. “ah, the lovebirds!” he announces and you laugh, giving him a hug with a kiss on the cheek. “don’t worry, i didn’t tell anybody you two were house sitting, i told them i had another friend house sitting. it’s just you two. a little bit about the house i wanna tell you guys about before i go. obviously, eat anything you want, alcohol included” rossi winked and you laughed. “guest bedroom for you two, there’s a bathroom with it. i just ask you to please don’t go into my room. it’s my space, y’know?”

“totally! we understand, don’t worry” spencer nodded and david smiled. 

“good. alright.. well i think that’s about it. call me if you need anything, you know i suck at texting. and i will see you two sunday night!” you and spencer wave goodbye to rossi and watch him drive out of the driveway. you turn to spencer, biting your lip and walking backwards to the alcohol cabinet. 

“yn! it is.. 9 in the morning!” 

“and? a shot wouldn’t hurt!” you giggle and pour one for yourself, looking at spencer. he sighs, grabbing himself one as well. you silently cheer and pour him one too, putting the bottle back. “ready?” he nods, waiting for the countdown and shaking his hands and scrunching his face as the alcohol burns his throat. “amazing, i love seeing you drink” you smile, giving him a kiss. you take his hands and make him pull your shirt off, your eyes never leaving his. you take off your shorts and hang them on the back of the chair, backing up slowly to the backdoor. 

your fingers unbutton his shirt and bite your lip, letting go as you reach the last button and jumping into the pool. spencer rips off his shirt, shoes and pants, jumping in after you. he grabs your waist and pulls you to the surface, holding your neck and kissing you hungrily. your arms lazily drape over his shoulders, legs around his waist. 

“now are you happy you agreed to house sitting?” he mumbled against your lips and you laugh, nodding. “me too. no one but me.. you..” he pressed a button on a remote you had no idea where he got it from, music playing around the house. “and elvis”

Reflection: the end?

It is crazy to think back to the beginning of this quarter and see how far we’ve all come as individuals and as a group. I still remember seeing everyone for the first time in front of Tom Bradley. I was four minutes late, and I remember seeing a bunch of faces turn as I sprinted over to join the circle. I was shy, I was overwhelmed by all the amazing individuals that stood before me, and I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Seeing such a large group as well scared me, I started to overthink, how is our group dynamic going to be like, am i going to make friends, will they like me? All these questions ran through my head.

Fast forward to today, right now after finally removing the cream out of my hair, I am in bed typing this at 2 in the morning and I can say that I am truly content. I am so grateful that I have found a family that I feel so comfortable being around. I feel like since coming to UCLA I really struggled with finding a tight-knit group of friends, a lot of the friendships I was making here felt fragile and tentative. After all these weeks of getting to know each and everyone of you, including the actives and the PMs through interviews, I can say with clarity that I am so happy with where I am now. 

@tamlynsasaki honestly from the moment we talked in front of tom bradley and then having you by my side in the car during i-night, I knew we would get along. I love you for being so understanding and for being someone that I can always talk to about long distance relationships and problems I am facing. 

@micheleshi my JPPPP! I am so happy we got paired together. Your radiant personality literally lights up my day and I always feel super happy and can’t help smiling when I am with you! Thanks for always having my back and for being so patient with my last minuteness. I love you very much!

@han-hannah HANNAH! You are one of the sweetest people ever. You are so genuine and kind and caring and hardworking and honestly just someone I look up to! You put your all into what you do and thank you for taking such detailed notes during monday meetings, we really couldn’t have done it without you. I love you!

ahhh i love exploring characters different from myself!! i mean i love writing these awkward boys who use silly lingo cause i too am super awkward and use silly lingo BUT i dont play overwatch or listen to the smiths or wanna major in music theory but i feel like michael would like all these things sooo,,, its been fun exploring new things because i want to know more about them for this blog specifically. i dont want to settle on something being their fav just cause i know about it i guess and im having fun with it

it also is nice to explore thingS ive dealt with myself through these boys in a healthy way using what ive learnt about myself and others. i deal with dependency issues and i always read michael as having them as well? but i didnt deal with them in a healthy manner for a while and ive learnt how to be better about it. and just ,,, being able to help these fictional boys in a way i struggled with is really refreshing and helps me a lot

hiiii it’s me colly!

Hii it’s been a long while since I wrote out my thoughts on here.  I just wanted to recollect and self reflect on some feelings i’ve been feeling lately. SO it all started in march when I noticed I was beginning to feel more of myself again. Like I just felt more of me. Like the sadness is yeah its still there and the betrayal i felt from craig is always going to be there i think. And the trauma and the anger I have for him of what he did to me and put me through will always be there. But I found myself finally feeling like ready? Ready to take a leap of faith and get myself back out there into the dating pool/pond.  AND LET ME TELL YOU!!! It is so fucking exhausting. I hate the swiping. And I hate feeling writing my bio to the point where I feel like i’m selling a pitch to shark tank. LIKE SEELLLING MYSELF AND MY QUALITIES of what makes ME special or what someone will get out of when they date me. LOL idk it’s so hard. I think that’s another thing I need to work on. Loving myself. And taking ownership on yes I am weird, yes I am shy. But yes I am awesome and I am beautiful. It just takes time to see that. Anyway I was losing hope on these datin g apps when i would get bomboarded with dudes asking me questions on if I live at home, or if i live alone. And it made me self conscious like. Is it bad that I live at home with my mom? It’s so expensive to move out. Like I cant even afford living in the bay area if i did try and move out and find a roomie. LOL. I guess i feel ashamed, because of that. And whenever I would match with someone they would either unmatch themselves right away after i message them. or they just never replied. So it was kinda frustrating i guess. Like whats the point?  Anyway my school friend and my brother suggested me to try out the dating app of Meetme. And LOL i was skeptical because of the amount of messages I would receive the first time I downloaded it. And So i tried it again. And I just got sooooooo many messages from dudes. And the ages just ranged from 18-21; 40-60 year olds. And It just made my stomach sink. I just I cant see myself dating someone that’s 40 and me being 27. Idk I just I cant. ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE MESSAGING ME ASKING IF I WOULD LIKE TO TRY OUT LIMP DICK LMFAO?! HELLO? WHAT LOL or if i would like to be their substitution to viagra. creeper bye. And so it just made me really freaked out. And then at this time Steven messaged me and I was just cautious. But he made me laugh and he was the only one that was close to my age. So I felt like that was fine. But the overwhelming messages from 40-60 year olds creeping on my profile and asking me if i wanted to lick them or if i was interested in finding a daddy. Just I couldnt. So I decided to just delete my photos because ya girl just was creeped out at that point. And steven then messaged and asked me if I was quitting because he noticed I was removing my photos and i just explained to him and he was just really shocked. And i asked him if he ever experienced that on his end and he just said no. So I was just like LUCKY DUCK.  Anyway, we talked more on the app of meetme messages. He made me laugh. I thought he was pretty charming and cute as well. He has a list of interests that is sooooo different from me which made me feel very insecure or uneasy. I’m not active and I have had bad experiences of camping and outdoors but I am always willing to try new things. And I feel like I just couldnt do long distance anymore. especially after the abuse I went through with craig and phillip. I just I can’t do that anymore. I need someone here for me physically. And steven is literally a few miles away so i was glad. SO we do have a shared interest which is anime c: and cute animals and food and books and gaming. And he asked me out on a date to go to Dave n Busters. 

SO GUESS WHAT ya girl went to dave n busters. that was the first date. met him upstairs. I awkwardly walked over and gave him a hug while I shivered and we played a lot of games together. Then we had cheeese BURGERSS. There he let me have some of his beer which I took a few sips didnt enjoy it though. LOL and He just laughed. Then he mentioned about how there’s sea glass on the beach and how he wanted to show it to me. And  I was just like uh i guess? I just have to be back at this time to get picked up. And he’s just like oh we will have time dont worry. SO I WENT IN HIS CAR (and my friend has shamed me for it lol saying how stupid i was to go in his car lol on the first date and how lucky i am to be alive and not killed and stuff) And I dont know It just didnt register in my head until I got to the beach so i did send my location to my best friend. so she knew where I was. even tho my girl is in texas and im in california LOl. so when we got to the beach we actually picked up sea glass and it just it felt like a movie. or something I read in books. It was soft and slow and I just felt safe. And we just huddled together as the wind pushed us together. And I asked to hold his hand and he just laughed exasperated and was like “OHMYGOD U DONT HAVE TO ASK just hold my hand its fine” and yeah so i got to hold his hand.  After the date we talked on the phone and it just nice.  Second date: Steven took me to the science museum playground for kids. It was so much fun we saw cute animals and interacted with the science experiments. There was a lot of sequin textures sensorys and it just was so nice. LOL he drew a lit hand sign while i tried to make an xD face, but failed. Then we were hungry so he took me to have poke (IT WAS MY FIRST TIME LOL) and it was delicious but i was kinda hungry still. After he took me to this   old bookstore and we roamed the aisle looking at different books. Then he took me to his place where we shared our first kiss. I was really shy and scared but we took things slow and sat on his bed and cuddled. He was really upset when he found out that I never cuddled before. I didn't understand why he was upset but he just told me he felt sad that I never had that intimate connection. And at first I was bored but towards the last hour I felt really cozy and it just felt nice, the way his hands wrapped around my waist. I did get aroused which kinda freaked me out because I never really felt that sensation before. LOL so it made me really anxious. LIKE CALM DOWN COLLEENY. Third date: We did some shopping at TarzHay (target) lolol and daiso together. it felt nice. Then we went back to his place to have dinner. He shared his dinner with me and it was really good and after we cuddled and kissed and watched youtube videos together. And it just was really romantic.  Fourth date: Went to a movie on a work night. we saw The saga of tanya the evil. And it was fun watching anime with him. And I was just soo shy i didnt hold his hand I just we just focused watching the movie together and enjoying each others company.  Fifth date:  went to fanime (anime convention) for the FIRST TIMEEE  last saturday ( may  25, 2019) i met up with him there! I cosplayed as kiki from kiki’s delivery service. it was fun! So he was playing ddr well competing in the tournament. for a lil 3 hours ish. After we went to get something to drink so he bought me a drink...it was sweet but somewhat bitter but i did enjoy the sugar that was decorated coated around the  rim of the glass. And  i got hyper ish LOL And steven just laughed. But i let him finish it for me because I couldnt. Then we went to go walk to get food. in line there was a guy talking to him. And the guy asked us what we were and if we been here bfore. and steven said it was his first time not being alone. and i said it was my first time. and then I just stuttered and got shy because we havent discussed what we were to each other. Like we just only talked about us liking each other a lot. And how we both enjoyed each others company. So I replied with “we dd-d-d--dateing? We on a d ate. we dating. date. uh yeh uh” and then steven wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me in close to him and added “ yeah we are going steady.” AND OOOOOOO I BLUSHED SO HARDDDDDDDD. aaaa still blushing LOL  Anyway lol food was delcious. i had a bento curry chicken box. Then we sat down and rested our feet in the hall and he took a nap on my thigh lol. it was cute and i just scratched his forehead bc i was too scare to scratch his head LOL. and then we watched the season 3 of attack on titan together and he held my hand and my arm and it just felt nice.  I curled up against him and we just enjoyed watching 5 episodes together.  Sixth date:  today saturday june 1, 2019 is gonna be the sixth date. sooooo ILL JUST KEEP U  POSTED On what we are gonna do. loool time for bed
