April O’neil is a teenage girl, a more rebellious age than ever, an age that loves new experiences, which is why April chose to intern in journalism. A job that helps her explore, hide in dangerous things to bring evil to light

2) Casey has a rather pitiful family background when after his mother died, his father became addicted to alcohol and gambling. Since April and Casey's families were already acquainted, Casey often went to April's house.

So it creates a loop where every time Casey's dad has a hangover, one day his dad locks the door or Casey goes to April's house, which makes Casey feel like he's imprisoned.

Accidentally helping a person who was being robbed gave Casey a new feeling, a feeling that made him truly feel useful. From there, the name "Nightwatcher" was born.

—> April and Casey will be the turtles' closest friends and allies in the following events. I just gave them a level of close friendship because I think both the turtles and April Casey have things they don't know and vice versa, they can learn from each other and help each other. After all they are teenagers and the teenagers somehow understood each other

Splinter is really hard to say when he is sometimes a good father and teacher but at the same time a bad person. Maybe because he always blames and resents himself for the sins that caused the Hamato family to be destroyed... and his wife... and his child he could have all lost their lives.

Something that I kind of like is how it is a consistent trait of Splinter's, no matter which iteration, to look at a bunch of mutated baby Turtles just after being mutated himself & in every iteration just responding to the situation by going 'well I guess I'm a dad now'

This is an interesting Opinion that many people have, and I had to put 2003 Splinter on there out of fairness. The Worst Splinter is definitely a big argument for some.

Single parent struggles

Combining my two favorite things by inserting conversations my family has had onto these turtles. It's like... really easy actually so this will probably be a series of sorts

Not super thrilled with how this turned out tbh, but I'm still familiarizing myself with their designs and my work always suffers when I have to use references and I also used my non-preferred art software. You can expect any of my future art to look better

Sorry that you're overwhelmed 😔. But I want to add this before I go to bed. So speaking of hints, you know in every reincarnation story there are always clues, what if somehow when Spike mutates, suddenly he has the smell of an old man which of course only Splinter could tell and it puzzles everyone since Spike is physically around the boys age. That, and sometimes he suddenly speaks like an old person, especially to himself when he thinks no one is listening

You got it spot on siyajwkwuw. I wanted Splinter to know somethings off first, but originally it was via mediation.

Seems Ronins scent/aura is a bit too similar to a certain cheerful orange.

"Don't be silly, Orange," Splinter chuckled, turning the teapot so that he could see the grimace on the face. Privately, he too thought that it was a little creepy, but his youngest had inherited his older sibling's bluntness and the imagination of children. "It's not evil. It's...just focusing on heating the water up for us."

The teapot whistled, loud enough that it almost hurt.

"See?" Splinter said, picking it up. "He did a good job."

Michaelangelo frowned, staring at it.

"I hate it."

For the rest of his childhood, he refused any tea made by the teapot. Splinter simply added it to the list and got another teapot. It made a little bit of a dent in his wallet, but he enjoyed teatime with his sons when he could muster up the energy.

It wasn't until Draxum issued the demand for the last dark armor piece that he realized why Orange had been so scared.
