2024 will be my year.

i write on march 27th.

2024 will be the year i'm healthy, happy, and hot.

my time to achieve this is running out

and i am not okay with it.

i want to be the best version of myself.

sure the motives for doing so might be a little fucked up, but any motivation is good motivation, right?

i hate my exes.

well, maybe not all of them, some of them are alright people, and i've stayed friends with them.

but i hate some of my exes enough that i want to destroy any semblance of who i was when they loved me.

they loved me for being kind, i'm now cautious with my energy.

they loved me for being easy, i will shackle my legs closed.

they loved that i was soft and curvy, i will be so strong and sharp to the touch like a sword forged in the hot fires of hell itself.

i'm not that person anymore.

i'm not all bark and no bite anymore.

i want to be the person that my younger selves would have looked up to and felt safe with.

because i deserve to feel safe within my own body.

i'm doing this for my own well-being and happiness.

it's my choice from here on out.

I’m not my skinniest, I’m not my healthiest. But for real, I am happy. I’m the happiest I’ve been in a long time and I feel like I’m getting through the stages of healing and grief that I’m supposed to be. I’m proud of my strength, my growth, and the upward projection I feel myself going mentally, emotionally and financially. I want to thank God for trusting me to trust myself to trust the process. That smile ain’t fake. The energy you feel it thru the phone. I prayed for this peace of mind and peace of security, a healed heart a better thinking and decision making brain and look at me, look at God. Look at life. One hell of a ride but I won’t ever get off until they make me. #realhastalamuerte

1 hour of jumping rope today, baby!

I feel incredible!

I know some people are going to be like, uuuum but why!?

Just trust me when I say it’s for my mental health and then my physical health. I felt myself slowly slipping into a spiral situation because of my seizures and not being able to go out on a run by myself.. it was driving me crazy! So this was the next best thing.

Today I felt like I just really needed it to be a longer intense workout session, I feel so so sooooo much better then I did before hand.

Wow. YES.

So I'm leaving work and something darts in front of me, maybe 10ft away, too fast for me to see what it is. Peek around the tree blocking my path and I see this

Just like... a whole ass hawk. Dude's gotta be about 1.5ft tall. Massive fucking bird. And it's just staring me straight in my soul like this, even as I try to move ahead. It didn't budge. And there's only this path back to my car unless I want to walk on a busy highway. So I have the option of Death By Raptor or Death By Truck.

So I walk in the poison ivy filled patch off the sidewalk. Guy still isn't moving. Still staring me directly in the eyes. And I do this thing when animals are behaving strangely where I'll talk to them, so I'm just like, "Hey, man. I don't know you. You don't know me. This feels really threatening. I'm just trying to get to my car, dude. Can I get some space please? You're a big fucking bird. I see those claws. You could kill me right now, but I'd appreciate if you didn't, ok?"

It didn't move until I was about 2ft away. Again: I'm as far from it as I can be without walking into the street. It clearly wasn't going to budge. I walk past, thing flies up (silent, btw. Scary) and lands on a brick wall a little further ahead

Anyway. Weird guy. Nearly shit my pants when I noticed a bird big enough to carry off a fully grown cat was just... there, staring me in the face, unwilling to move away from me, a human, something it should see as a threat. I watched behind me the whole rest of the way to my car, just in case this bird decided to help me shed this mortal coil. 10/10 experience. Super cool guy.
