So I did a thing...

Polyc recreated some of his small tattoos into temporary tattoo sheets, 7 sheets in a set, and offered them for sale.

I followed the instructions and ordered a set.

I never received them, so since I had to prepay (not inexpensive with shipping) I followed up by emailing him.

And now I'm in a email conversation with Polyc and IT. IS. SURREAL I tell you.

He told me he recalls sending them. I love him. THIS GUY HAS HANDLED JK'S ARM!! HE'S TATTOOED MOONS ON JIMIN'S BACK!!! HE'S TATTOOED LIL 7'S ON ALL OF THEM!! AND HE REMEMBERS SENDING ME MY ORDER!! I was in his brain for five seconds!!! I'M SOMEBODY!!!!!!!!!!

It's surreal. And cool.

You sat on your sink, your boyfriend standing between your legs as he unraveled his bandages from his long arms. The lack of the familiar white fabric often made him feel a little naked because of how often he wore them, but he could care less about feeling naked around you. He trusted you, after all.

In your hands, you held small temporary tattoos Dazai insisted on getting from one of those small little slot machines in the entrances of stores. They weren't all that small, probably about 2 ½ inches wide and tall and had pretty flower designs.

Dazai wiped his arms down with a small, wet, cloth before patting the skin dry, following the instructions on the back of the tattoo carefully. The healed scars on his arms raised the skin ever so slightly, giving it a bit of a bumpy texture in certain areas. You watched as he held the thin cardboard close to his face while he read the small letters.

"Could you please do the transferring part for me, my dear? It's really hard to rub the towel on it without it sliding all over the place." He says, looking at you and handing you the tattoo. You nod and remove the transparent plastic from the top before pressing it to his skin. You gently rub the towel on it, which makes him snicker a little.

"Sorry, it tickles a little. It's moving my arm hairs around." He says, a grin plastered on his face. "Mhm, or maybe you're just that touch starved?" You reply, lifting the corner of the paper to check whether or not it was transferring, deciding you needed to leave it on for a couple more seconds.

"Hey, that would mean you're not doing your part in this relationship." He teases, to which you scoff. "I give you so much physical affection it's overwhelming." You laugh a bit as you continue pressing the damp paper into his arm. You lift it after a couple more seconds, revealing the perfectly transfered art piece on his forearm. "Well, one could argue that point." He sarcastically says, making you playfully roll your eyes.

"And only one would." You sigh. "Do you like it? You know, I put my heart and soul into this." You say, gesturing to the temporary tattoo. The bright colors stand out on his arms, making it very eye catching. He nods, still smiling. "It looks as if it were done by a professional." He says, leaning in closer to your face, meer centimeters apart. You could feel his breath on your lips as he locked eyes with yours, a slightly pink coloring to his face.

You smile at his praise, leaning in to quickly peck his lips before parting. "Well I hope it looks that way, I wouldn't want you walking around with some busted tattoo. And professional temporary tattoo artist is not a profession, you'll have go through the pain and commitment if your really want it perfect." You say, your eyes flicking between his eyes and the tattoo. He scoffs. "Oh wow, babe, do you really doubt my commitment skills?" He says, staring at you, his hands on your shoulders. "Not nearly as much as I doubt your pain tolerance." You say, gently pushing him back and scooching off the sink.

He thinks for a minute before nodding. "Yeah, that's fair." He mumbles, pulling you into a hug. You wrap your arms around him, pressing a kiss to the side of his head before releasing him from your grip. "I know you very well. Now let go, I wanna get changed into pajamas." You say, patting his back and hearing him groan, but releasing you. "Alright, alright." He leans against the wall as you walk past him and into your shared bedroom to change.

When you finally open the door up again, Dazai pours into the room like water out of a wrecked dam. You jump a little at his very swift entrance, your boyfriend falling right onto you. You smile, holding him and pushing some hair out of his face. "Woah there, handsome! That was close!" You say mockingly, pushing him to stand up right. He laughs and walks over to the nightstand, turning on a small lamp and sliding some rings off of his fingers and placing them in a small jewelry dish. "So you really do like that thing, don't you?" You ask, looking right at the floral art on his forearm. His hand holds onto the lamp, near the bulb as his attention is redirected to you.

"Yeah, it's a shame no one but you is gonna see it though. I can't loose my mysterious element for it, as much as I love it." He says matter of factly, shrugging a bit. "Oh, how intimate." You say, sliding under the the blanket and waiting for him to join you. "I know, right? You're the only person who will ever see that piece of me, baby." He snickers, flicking the light off before you hear a loud gasp.

"Oh my god, babe! It's even glow in the dark!" He says, you can hear the audible smile on his face and surprise in his voice, making you laugh a bit. "Come cuddle with me and give me a closer look." You say, feeling him crawl into your arms quickly at your request. You take his arm into your hand, inspecting the tattoo with a smile..

Convo summary; My friend and I were basically talking about what is really under Dazais bandages. We both agreed that he kinda likes the dramatics and there's a chance he doesn't have anything under those. We were just throwing ideas around, I said something about tattoos but probably not because he specifically dislikes pain, so I settled on a bunch of cutesy little temporary tattoos.

First off i just want to say im not trying to play blame game, I just want to talk about a few things that is not really mainstream in larry fandom, I remember your thoughts about babygate and how it might be related to Harry’s level of visibility, what im thinking about situation surrounding Louis, his solo career, babygate and Harry is not that unsimilar to that line of thinking.

I think that Harry’s solo career is an extension of 1D project, he was the one that was chosen by big executives to appeal to the group of fans, which was huge in numbers so it would be waste for sony not to tap into that potential, the band managed to garner throughout the years. Sony created a new brand for those fans in a way that they wouldn’t be embarrassed to carry that brand into their new adult life which should be free from their teenage obsession so they heavily leaned into harry being inspired by rock legends at first (with a sprinkle of sex god harry) but it felt flat because the connection between harry and those legends didn’t go beyond critics calling harry fake (lol), and then they realized they needed to put in more work to this rock persona so they brought in the rockstar gf and amped up rumors about his sexuality bc the mystery around his ‘not so secret’ love life was a hook for many of those fans, i also wanna mention that imho harry is not contradicting himself and what his life is supposed to sell just to pat larries on the back in interviews, him saying i want privacy around my love life but we knowing every detail about all his relationships is playing right into that persona of rockstar that is caught in his love or him saying that these things wouldn’t happen for people like him is selling this fantasy of underdog coming from nothing and being everything to thousands of fans, people relate to that but the money they are spending on Harry is unparalleled and beyond that the power they have with media is nothing similar to any underdog quality having small artist could have. By the way im not saying that harry is undeserving of his highly publicized (and sometimes made of) achievements, im saying the work and money that go into it already guarantees this kind of ‘success’

Anyway i think this all kind of ties in how Louis has been struggling with industry-wide blackout all his solo career. Im just guessing but my life experience tells me that Sony wouldn’t let anything or anyone get in the way of millions of dollars they are getting through harry the brand and them, we all know that Louis is the biggest thread to that brand they have been supporting and creating, first they burdened him (and ancient/old/new larries or larrie narrative with babygate) and then they literally made it so that Louis could never the shadows (by the way the mystique around larry proved to big executives that people are intrigued by big stars having secrets or compassionate side that is willing to fight for their love and partners, so they were aware of the void harry’s solo career would have once louis was removed from the situation and they tried to create new larry in their own terms with xander and brad which is so laughable at best because you cant fake the genuine fight or love or yearning, not even proximity would warrant that as we can see with brad and breads lol)

So what is frustrating (to me) about this whole tattoo convo that some people are so hell-bent on minimizing what it really is -a dumb decision- because babygate is still going on as it involves a kid, it is morally fucked up situation on another level (while i agree with that i also question where was that energy when harry was letting olivia bring her kids to his show and his family was getting actively involved with those kids, he was publicly and very visibly inserted into their family situation as well.) Im just dumbfounded that some people bending backwards to give Harry a free pass for every questionable thing he does are somehow missing the fact that Louis’ involvement with babygate only doubled when Harry as a brand finally got the level of fame he or they wanted, im not saying some sony bighead are putting a weapon to louis’ head to say that you should be more hands-on father but they are playing a game of putting all the responsibilities -be it legally or verbally- on his shoulder.

Im sorry for talking your ear off in your asks but i wanted to get that out there even if only one person reads it and i realized i wrote in absolutes in terms of my writing but it is not because im trying to present my thoughts as the facts it is because i didn’t wanna put i think, i guess, i suppose at the beginning of every sentence i wrote to signal that these are my thoughts based on being involved with this fandom more than ten years and real life experiences.

I’ve been looking for someone to share this sort of opinions with all my life. I could have written this honestly, because it stands more or less where I stand with my takes on everything (especially the frontman push, the threatening larry rumours, the mega comeback of babygate coincidentally when Harry’s career has taken a turn for the sky). And I find very silly, very naive, very biased - three words that can easily describe this fandom - the opinion of those who say ‘babygate has nothing to do with larry’ or ‘babygate has nothing to do with Harry’.

I say the tattoo fiasco has been a wake up call for me, because it is a statement, a very dumb, very greedy, very mean - three words that can easily describe the people in the big picture- from Harry himself. It means he went full in for this stunt and from this there’s no coming back. And people will say it’s convenient and ambitious and they will also say they do what they can with their career, but you know… I don’t like these takes because there is a very fine line (pun intended) between ambition and ambiguity, because everybody and their mothers know that if you decided to get involved with the worst people in Hollywood you are not going to end up be a saint. OW being so close to H. W had always creeped me out, because look at how much organic success and organic achievements has brought to our beloved.

Uh. Somewhere around 35-ish? There's been a lot of, like, building out on existing ones and making them cohesive, so it's really hard to say. 40-50 sessions in the chair, for sure.

Any of the multiple memorial tattoos for deceased family members, or the matching tattoo I got with my spouse after our wedding

I'm hoping to get something cool on my chest post-top surgery, but that's a long-ass way away yet.

5. What was the most painful tattoo?

I fully used numbing cream when I got my inner thigh tattooed, but I missed a spot. Ask me how I realised.

Also my knuckles, jfc. Fully cussed my tattoo guy out for that one, it was his idea to extend the design down to cover a couple of knuckles in the first place lmfao.

6. What was your first ever tattoo and how old were you when you got it?

My uncle's initials after he died when I was 17. I had this deal with my mum that I could get all the facial piercings I wanted, dye my hair all the batshit colours I wanted, as long as I didn't get a tattoo until I turned 18. And I'm grateful for that, because I wanted some tacky-ass shit at 15-16. But we negotiated for the one at 17, which there was little to no chance of me regretting.

7. What is your most recent tattoo?

An envelope with a piece of paper coming out of it that says "wish you were queer xo" for a flash day fundraiser for RainbowYOUTH.

8. What does your family think about your tattoos?

My mum is fucking petrified of needles, so her objection isn't to the permanent ink on my skin so much as willingly subjecting myself to being stabbed lmao. I hid them from my paternal grandparents until my wedding day and then said 'fuck it they can't yell at me today!' and they have never, ever mentioned them since. My maternal grandmother hated my first few, offered to pay to get them laser removed when I was at about 4 or 5, then begrudgingly acknowledged that some of them weren't terrible, and when she went into hospice in 2017 she gave me a list of the sorts of things she wanted included in her memorial tattoo 🤣

9. What meaning do your tattoos have?

Everything from very personal connections/memories/experiences in the memorial tattoos down to "I rolled three dice and got three words and the artist designed something based on that and slapped it on my body", and everything in between.

10. How many tattoos do you want?

As many as I have good ideas.

11. Where is the most painful place you've been tattooed?

Is this a different question to #5?

I will say - back of calf tattoos are surprisingly difficult. Not the MOST painful place, but probably the longest I've been really genuinely uncomfortable? (Though, again, sans numbing cream on my inner thigh this would be a VERY different convo)

12. Where is a place on your body that you will NEVER get tattooed?

I dunno... butthole? Eyeball?

17. Do you have one tattoo artist who does all of your art or a stand out tattoo artist? Hype them up!

These days I do! Only since I moved back to my current city in 2017, though, so a lot of my older stuff is by other artists. His name's Steve, he's a fucking delight, every day I'm in his chair is a fucking party. When my grandad died I just booked him out for the day and chatted to him about my grandad for the morning until inspo struck him and then he turned his iPad around with the loveliest design on it.

18. Is there any artist you would love to get work done by? Tell us about them!

There are lots of incredible artists out there, but I don't think I have, like, one bucket list person.

I had an apprentice go too deep on my pansexual tattoo and I still have a bit of raised scar tissue there lmao

20. What has been your best tattoo experience?

Getting my grandmother's memorial tattoo designed and tattooed. Per #8 I went in with a bit of a chaotic list and what the artist put together was just fucking stunning. It's my whole upper arm and every single element of it has really personal meaning.

21. Do you have any matching tattoos with people?

Yep! My spouse and I got matching Doctor Who tattoos after our wedding. I'm a DW fan of old, got my spouse into the show after we got together, and we had a reference in our ceremony but without discussing it, we'd both put references in our individual vows as well lmao.

I also have a few like... standard tattoos, for lack of a better word? As well as a few flash sheet designs. So I definitely have matching tattoos with strangers 🤣

Follow your bliss, babes, but you know the society we live in and you're accepting the potential bullshit. (I have hand tattoos!! I'm not saying it's RIGHT I'm saying it IS.)

Lewie stopped her, sweeping her into his arms, hugging her as he made her walk backwards. Kisses peppered her face, and she burst into furious giggles, wrapping her arms around his waist.

“I want to,” he said. “I’m so excited for it. I’m just nervous it’s gonna hurt and that the tattoo artist is gonna think I’m a pussy.”

Katie burst out laughing, squeezing him tighter. “Babe, he’s the sweetest guy ever, he’s not gonna think you’re a pussy. Besides, even if he did, he’s obsessed with cats.”

They stepped in to the studio, and without warning, she was swept into a hug.

“Katie!” Oliver grinned. “It’s so great to see you!!”

As best she could, she wrapped her arms around Oli’s neck, reaching up to try and bridge the entire extra foot he had on her.

“Oli, this is Lewie,” she said as they finally broke apart. “He’s your canvas today.”

Lewie stuck out his hand, but Oli swept him into a hug as well, Katie bursting into a fit of laughter once more. Never could she have expected her 6’0 boyfriend to look so much like a ragdoll, but next to the 6’5 brick house that was Oliver, he looked tiny in comparison.

Lewie was sat in the chair, his skin prepped, and Oliver had the stencil ready.

“So, the moment of truth,” Oliver said. “Where do you want it?”

Lewie stuck out his forearm, and pointed.

Katie gasped, grinning a mile wide. “You want it there?”

He nodded. “I want to be able to see it every day.”

She leaned in, kissing him softly, a little at a loss of what to say. But before she could say anything, the studio door flung open.

“We’re here! We’re here!!” Bec said, her usual whirlwind of energy following her. “Sorry we’re late, this one’s queasy again.”

Caden looked around the studio with a distinct gaze of unease, frowning at the needles to Olivers side.

“You really didn’t need to come,” Lewie laughed. “Oliver said it’s going to take like less than ten minutes to do.”

“Moral support, babes!” Bec grinned. “Plus, we can get ice cream after.”

Lewie’s face lit up, but immediately paled as Oli switched on the tattoo gun. But before he even had a chance to go near Lewie’s arm, Caden was throwing up into the bin.

Caden sorted with a glass of water and his feet up, Bec and Katie were watching with anticipation. Oliver switched on the gun, and Lewie looked away as he brought it to his wrist, biting his lip nervously. Katie couldn’t help but giggle, squeezing his other hand, and Bec was damn near crying at how cute the whole thing was.

True to his word, Oliver was finished in a little over six minutes. As soon as he announced they were done, Lewie took a deep breath, as if he hadn’t breathed the whole time.

Katie stood up to look, but Lewie covered it with his other hand, grinning a mile wide. “No, no, no peeking!”

He glanced under his hand, and couldn’t wipe the smile off his face, thanking Oliver profusely and telling him it was perfect.

And then, it was Katie’s turn.

She had no idea what Lewie had asked for. She had no idea what she was about to have tattooed on her. All she knew was that Bec had been squealing about how cute it all was for weeks.

Oliver switched out his needles, and got to work.

It was only another few minutes, and she didn’t look, not until Oliver announced that she, too, was done. She glanced at Lewie, who was beaming back at her, and she looked down.

It was a tiny, triangular corn chip, one corner dipped in cheese, and she gasped, the beautiful tribute to Nacho, her beloved golden retriever. But right there, beside it, another, smaller version.

She glanced up at Lewie, her eyes wild and wide, and he had the photo ready, turning his phone to show her the picture.

A puppy. A beautiful, perfect, tiny baby golden retriever, a pretty pink bow wrapped around her neck. She looked up at Lewie, and he beamed at her, showing her his own identical tattoo.

“Her name’s Chip,” he chuckled. “And we pick her up tomorrow.”

Katie squealed, leaping from the chair and throwing her arms around his neck, as Bec screamed with excitement and captured the whole thing on video. Oliver laughed loudly, and Caden groaned his approval, rolling his eyes a little at the gesture.

Lewie kissed her cheek, holding her tightly.

“Two dogs down—“

“Three to go,” she responded. She leaned back, looking up into the sparkling blue eyes she so fucking adored. “I love you,” she whispered. “Thank you.”

It would be very hard to convince me now that there wasn't something between Taekook at some point, and it certainly wouldn't all be undone by a clearly romantic something between Jungkook and a girl. You definitely would not be able to convince me that what they did was "for show". Their relationship is authentic no matter what the nature of that relationship is. I've been a Taekooker for a long time now and I think I'm older than the average here. I not only have plenty of receipts for my belief in Taekook, I have context for all of those receipts because I was here when it happened. I was much more active on Twitter when the tattoo artist "scandal" happened, and I actually got tagged with a few of my TK friends by the first shady accounts trying to spread it. When I think back on that time, I just feel bad for everyone involved. Even the tattoo studio staff, who were harassed mercilessly and had their shop vandalized. That had much bigger impact than the recent video, but it's funny because when I saw the convo around that I was just thinking I've already seen him back hugging a woman. If that was enough to debunk Taekook I would have bailed in 2019. The intention of this rumor was exactly the same as well. It follows the same pattern as every other. Post something with no context and that's actually not proof of anything, but spin some wild stories about it. It's very easy with interactions between a man and a woman. Every person I see still posting it everywhere says the woman in the video is his pregnant gf. That's obviously not true. People freaked out because they were told more was coming. That didn't happen. I agree with a lot of your second paragraph. I don't put more weight on interactions just because they're between a man and a woman. I do think it's weird that a few seconds without any context would be enough to question just because it is a man and a woman. I've had plenty of interactions like that with male friends I had no romantic feelings about. -He's quite scared actually not sure if it was seen that much in that art but he has a scar across his face from accident (technically an attempt of casp trying to take his soul) from when a wine bottle fell on his face.

Hi! Could you share your favourite headcanon(s) for Harry and Uma?

Oh nothing would make me happier

Alright so, Harry absolutely loves the idea of having matching outfits with Uma all the time. He will always make an effort to buy clothes that look like hers, plan his outfits so they match. He will wait for Uma to get dressed first and then come out in an outfit that looks like hers and be like, "that's crazy, we totally match" Uma rolls her eyes but definitely loves it too.

Similarly Harry will just straight up steal Umas clothes, he doesn't care if they fit weird that's just the style don't you know. Again Uma doesn't usually care, but sometimes she tries to give him a taste of his own medicine when she can't find anything to wear and everything is in his closet. She will wear his clothes which makes Harry absolutely head over heels, oh it makes him so happy. Which wasn't exactly Umas plan but oh well.

I like to think that Harry is really into reading and literature, especially the old, romance stuff like Shakespeare. Anyway since he's so awed by it he starts writing Uma poetry and love letters making her all warm inside but she's totally keeping her cool on the outside, or really trying to.

Uma craves cuddles from Harry because he is huge, and so warm, and it feels so good to just be totally engulfed by him.

And Harry loves holding her because he knows she's safe there with him.

Harry has a very specific scent and Uma knows when he's in the room even if she can't see him because she can smell him.

They both like good smells because everything smelled gross on the isle also Uma's still insecure about how she smells. So when they move to Auradon they love all the soap and perfume shops and will always stop in the candle isle and just smell candles together discussing the different scents like it's their job. It's honestly one of their favorite activities.

Harry thinks the best gifts he can give Uma are weapons and honestly, she agrees. So throughout the years Uma has built up quite the weaponry collection because Harry is always giving her some sort of new dangerous gadget.

Though, Uma had to return a few after Harriet figured out Harry had been stealing from her collection of weapons .

Harry loves fashion and style. This was hard on the isle though because hardly anybody had a lot of clothes and if you wanted something you would most likely have to make it yourself. But Harry couldn't sew. So, Uma would always make him clothes, even if he didn't ask for it, she thoroughly enjoys it. Harry is very grateful for this and he has made that clear. Plus, It always made her happy to see him sporting something she had made him. He slays every time.

I think Harry has ADHD making it hard for him to focus. But he can always focus on Uma, so she will help him whenever, and has lots of patience for him.

Uma never had, or grew up on a ship so she didn't know how to sail or maneuver the ship. Instead of making fun of her and saying she was unworthy of being Capitan if she didn't know how to work a ship, Harry simply taught her all he knew, he loved the bonding time and feeling like he was important.

Uma can understand and talk to marine animals. She loves telling Harry all the gossip and news about the sea animals lives, she gets absolutely giddy to tell him. And when they go to the ocean she'll just start convos with a random fish updating Harry so often of what's going on. It's one of the millions of reasons Harry is so deeply in love with her, he loves seeing how happy it makes her.

Stealing is fun. It's one of their favorite activities and hobbies to do together. It's frowned upon in Auradon but Uma decided it's okay as long as it's not from a small business. And anything Uma says goes, so...

Harry has done all of Umas tattoos and it's going to stay that way because the boy has an artistic eye.

Harry likes to caress Uma it's a stress reliever and she's soft so you know, it's valid.

Them doing each other's hair and makeup obvi.

Uma got Harry a bouquet of nightshade for Valentine's day, because it's funner when it's deadly.

Uma thinks that sword fights are the most romantic dates, oof and seeing Harry in combat. Just makes her ravenous.

Umas the early bird and loves watching Harry sleep. He always has crazy bed head. But this means Uma falls asleep first so Harry gets to watch her sleep during the night.

Uma started having Harry test her food to see if it was "poisonous." In reality she just felt bad that he wasn't getting enough food and this excuse was the only way she could get him to take some of her food. This just led to them sharing food all the time.

Both Harry and Uma downplay their injuries, it's an isle thing. But it truly concerns Harry just how much Uma will downplay her injuries. One day she said she was fine and proceeded to collapse in front of him. So it gives him extreme anxiety, but like, she's not gonna stop.

It shocks Uma how easily Harry can insert a pick up line or compliment into his sentences when he's talking to her. It's just so quick that she's just stuck there silent not knowing how to react.

Harry would be happy to die for Umas cooking because she is by far the most amazing cook on the planet. At least in Harry's eyes, oh God she's amazing when it comes to cooking.

By the way Uma cooks, Harry cleans. And Harry will cook sometimes if he knows it will relieve her stress.

Harry's receiving love language is physical touch. Umas is words of affirmation. So if course they make sure to shower each other with these.

Uma and Harry have grown a habit of watching and loving soap operas because Ursula always had them on in the chip shop. So when they get time to relax they watch soap operas together and laugh and make fun of them, while also being super invested.

Skills of the Heart Pirates (headcanons)

Bepo my darling light, probably just as clumsy in the kitchen as his captain is... Bepo tries his best to help out when it's his turn to cook for the crew (along with a couple of other members) but a lot of the time he ends up bumping into things and becoming more of a hazard than a helping hand, everyone's only respite is that he isn't as fire prone as their captain is; Bepo is, however, great at washing the pots, pans, and in general the bigger cookware after meals

Penguin started out making little snacks for Shachi on Swallow Island because he'd spent a lot of time with his mom doing the the same at it brought some comfort to him - when Law and Bepo came along, it was mainly so that Penguin could make sure this weird kid who saved his life actually ate

The Tang doesn't have a designated chef in the same way that the Strawhats have Sanji, many members rotate in and out of the kitchen depending on the day but it's usually Dorie, Bas, and Laeno that are in there the most; Pengy still makes small things anyone can munch on throughout the day to keep their energy up or if someone just asks, though - it remains very much a comfort to cook for his loved ones

I vaguely remember a mention in the light novel that Shachi worked as a hairdresser and I 100% agree - it's super cute to imagine Shacchan cutting everyone's hair when it gets too long, helping crew members pick out new styles or looks for certain occasions, having a field day when it's time for Bepo's yearly molt lol, and all free of charge! It's mostly because he's doing this out of the kindness of his sweet little orca heart, but a small part is also because he gets to chat and gossip a lot with whoever it is he's working on

I'm not sure where I picked up the notion that Ikkaku was an engineer along my fandom journey, but I like the idea that it's her in charge of something super important like keeping the ship running, she also pops into the captain's office occasionally to refill their coffee and haul Law out to dinner <3

The Hearts are inked just like their captain - not necessarily all over like Law, but it's unlikely that you'd find someone without at least one tattoo be it big or small - and the one to turn to for that would be Hake! They're the artist responsible for all the work done on this crew, though they do tend to be a bit mingy about prices, you can usually get away with a decent discount by praising their work and fluffing up their feathers a bit (only works for long term crew members, terms and conditions apply)

Smaller hc time!

Uni and Clione are typically in charge when laundry day rolls around, with the latter yelling at his peers to stop goofing around with the freshly warm sheets before they get dirty again

Bepo, Dorie, Bas, and Jean Bart do a lot of heavy lifting when it's time to restock supplies, not that everyone else doesn't help out too, they just take pride in being the ones that everyone relies on the most for their size and strength in heavy lifting (it's also very amusing to see the 'small fry' squabble amongst themselves about who can lift the most)

Bookkeeping and crunching numbers is left to Hoki and Gul, when Gul isn't in the infirmary with Marl taking care of their injured since Law isn't present again

Fang (Hakugan) is really knowledgeable about foraging, he and Laeno will often go together to pick out wild game/herbs if the Tang docks at an island with lush flora and fauna

Since they spent a lot of time underwater though, the Heart Pirates end up eating a lot more seafood than anything on land, and the ones who bring home the bread there are Penguin, Shachi, and Ani

It's really so amazing to see some change in Kpop. It's small and there is much more extremely serious issues that need to be dealt with but I'm happy that 1) female and male idols are interacting a lot with each other. You have that one lesserafim member the maknae?? who has like a show I think? and she interviewed members of a boy group the boyz which is great. Male and female idols are doing dance challenges together. There was some HYBE show where all the HYBE groups male and female were on and there was many many interactions. This is so good. Obviously there are still a lot of restrictions and idols still don't react during award shows and stuff but it really is the small stuff that counts. I really think BTS should be somewhat accredited for this change. They're extremely kind and warm to their fellow company mates, they opened up spaces for idols to talk about mental health many times, recently with their book, and Yoongi was seen smoking in a recent MV which he said was on purpose to help normalise these things in Kpop. BTS have always lowkey sung about sex especially Joon but it's so refreshing to see Jungkook openly embrace it which will benefit everyone. Also HYBE which exists because of BTS is normalising a lot of stuff. The enhypen sexy dance with FEMALE dancers is the first thing to pop in my head. This is really just the beginning. Sorry for the long rant but as someone who has been a listener of kpop since 2012 it is so nice to see all of this happen.

hi friend!! as someone who has only gotten into kpop the last couple of years, reading this from a long term fan was super cool!! like i have seen so many compilations of members avoiding women like the plague to circumvent scandals before they start. or like how jungkook had to apologize for whatever type of relationship he had with his tattoo artist... its extremely sad.

so after all that, to see 4th gen idols having less restrictions in regards to their personal relationships is amazing!!

like seven is not the most deep complex song obvi, but its symbolic of something HUGE yk?? with all of the members solo projects, they're reclaiming their own agency (also as asian men in general, i had a queer of color theory course last semester and it essentially discusses how all poc can be considered queer bc they aren't allowed sexual autonomy ((ie asian men being excluded from heteronormative masculinity and therefore, having their sexual behaviors be categorized as "othered" or "immoral")) and are purposefully excluded from the heteronormative which goes hand and hand w whiteness,,,, but this a whole other convo shbfhsdbfhsb)). or like set me free pt 2 is so important bc out of all the members, jimin is the most scrutinized, infantilized, fetishized, etc etc etc. so bts solo projects have just been a huge fuck you to all of it n it makes me a v v v proud army lol!!
