Katara had her Oh moment before exchanging a word with Jian Li, and while she gets over it in time (or, at least, convinces herself that she's not embarrassed by her initial reaction to him) this quasi-interaction haunts her for the first couple of days of their stay in Kyoshi Island.

It's just not fair that the place is full of gorgeous people! Or that he's not only beautiful, but also kind and awkward and respectful and dorky and—oh, La—she's in trouble.

Ponyboy’s always complaining about Darry’s hovering, but I know if Darry ever actually takes a step back from it, Pony would not like it one bit.

Pony coming home past curfew and getting preemptively annoyed at the lecture he’s anticipating from Darry, I had no idea where you were, don’t you know how dangerous it is walking alone at night, what if something happened to you, blah blah blah….

But he gets inside and Soda’s the only one there.

“Where’s Darry?”

“He ain’t home.”

“…..what? Where is he?”

“He went for a drink with a group of guys from work.”

And Pony’s like, “……..he didn’t wait for me to get home………? So he just had no idea where I was? He knows how dangerous it is walkin alone around here at night! What if somethin happened to me?!”

in a few short hours helly found out that not only does her outie hold the keys to the cage she woke up trapped in, but helena sought to steal the life helly carved out for herself. helena stole her body. stole her voice. stole the intimate moment that belonged to her and mark. and so helly takes back what is hers. she finds a place hidden from view and recreates the moment and makes it entirely her own. she looks into mark's eyes and melts into his touch, content because she knows now that it's her he wants, it's her he wanted, it's her he loves. content because she knows, deep down, that helena knows it too.

I do think garp and Zoro would get on splendidly. As they are after all the same flavor of person.

any attempt to put all three of them in the same room will give Mihawk ulcers.

Mihawk would comment on their stupidity

Garp would respond “ain’t got to be smart to be a marine” and zoro would raise his glass in salute “ here, here”

listen I know it’s kind of corny and inaccurate to act like every single person in the dc universe knows each other and is besties but it IS endlessly funny to me to follow the web of connections and see how many degrees removed from each other everyone is.

like look at the arrowfam okay. ollie and dinah are together, ollie is homoerotic best friends with hal, dinah is homoerotic best friends with babs. roy is dating dick, has a kid with jade, and is basically an adoptive father to both grant emerson and rose wilson. connor is dating kyle and is constantly followed around by eddie fyers. mia is friends with a lot of the second gen teen titans kids, had an on-again-off-again thing going on with steph for a while, and is currently dating sienna. emiko is besties with courtney and some of the other recent teen titans. sin has a small army of protective aunts from the birds of prey. the real question is how far does it go before ollie puts a cap on the number of people who are invited to family brunch on sundays
