can we see your beloved scoundrel
Tumblr media
ABSOLUTELY! :D
This is Rev Wight — bastard (affectionate), babygirl (derogatory), and beloved abomination <3
Once the leader of a band of thieves, a botched job led to Rev being (literally) backstabbed and left for dead. Instead of dying, however, Rev awoke — alive in spirit, though not in body. This strange state of undeath drew the attention of the Goddess of Death. Instead of destroying the abomination, the Goddess sought to make a deal: power to enact the vengeance Rev so desired, in exchange for his fealty. Rev, with nothing else to lose, accepted.

This fandom has a weird insistence that nothing can stand on its own and everything must be connected to everything else.
Like the two forgotten gods can’t be new characters, clearly they must the Tharizdun/Luxon/the Raven Queen’s predecessor, even though the entire thing is that no one knows these forgotten gods even existed, and the latter characters are all well documented.
There’s a city on Ruidus? Clearly is must be Avalir/Aeor/Cognouza despite that not making a lick of sense.
Morrigan turned out to be a hag with the pseudonym ‘The Fate Stitcher’? Clearly she must also be Isharnai, despite Isharnai being known as the Prism Sage, is connected specifically to misery rather than fate in general, is not in the Feywild and so would not have time dilation capabilities.
There’s a low level information dealer in Jrusar? Clearly that must be Essek because apparently he ain’t got better shit to do.
A wizard named Laerryn and a wizard named Ryn exist ~1,000 years apart? Clearly they must be the same person despite us seeing Laerryn die onscreen and there being a millennium and an apocalypse between them.
Y’all, new things are allowed to happen, and things are allowed to be what they are.

8) Greatest strength and greatest flaw about your OC?
21) Any embarrassing secrets your OC demands you take to the grave but you will share anyway?
For Finn, because I love the creepy little fellow 🫶
I'm so glad you love him sm <3
8) Greatest strength and greatest flaw about your OC?
Uugfhd this kinda question is hard for me since it's not specific enough to me. I think Finn's greatest strength(s) is the dedication he has once he's decided on a goal and his ability to mostly ignore what others have to say about him.
Finn's greatest weakness... I think it may actually be the fact that how once he's afraid of something, it's almost impossible to get him to compromise or "understand" it.
21) Any embarrassing secrets your OC demands you take to the grave, but you will share anyways?
Finn is so unbothered by what people think most of the time. It's hard to think of embarrassing secrets for him. Instead, he has secrets that are too personal. But if I really think of something... probably the fact that he likes cheesy stuff like romcoms and slice of life. (He gets it from Morrigan).
While it's not his favourite genre, he still finds it entertaining. Characters getting into silly hijinks, suffering from problems that don't affect them in the long run, stupid misunderstandings... he wishes life was that simple and fun.
He thinks it's embarrassing cause when he was small, that's what his classmates had to say about that stuff, and his own dad isn't really that type, so he internalised it. (His classmates insulted everything he liked, tho, so...)
There's also the fact that Azul's unhinged-ness makes him swoon. And the fact that he has thought of a number of Night Raven students as attractive and got flustered internally. Now that is one secret he'd rather die than have others know lmaaao.

“I don’t want to attend class today *sigh* but alas father will be upset if I don’t go.”
All credit for the og sprite belongs to the Twisted Wonderland team and Yana Toboso! The info template belongs to @unfinished-projects-galore here on tumblr!
Other Morrigan outfits: Royal Sword Academy | Village of Miracles event | other school outfits
(More info and a bonus image under the cut)
AHHH IM SO PROUD OF MORRIGAN!!
This was a character I was debating on posting but I love how this came out so imma post them! I used Lilia’s sprite as a base and lengthened his pants, I really liked the details on his uniform pants but didn’t like the length on Morrigan.
Some general information on Morrigan;
They are half fae, half human. It’s belived their mother was a Raven fae.
I kind of wanted to play into that by mimicking the holographic nature of Raven/crow feathers. It’s a little hard to see but instead of making the hair highlights just blue or something, I tried to make it a blue/purple/teal gradient!
Morrigan is also wearing Raven feather earrings, their hair just covers them 🤧
Morrigan is the twisted version of Morgan Le Fay /Morgana from both Sofia the First and Arthurian Legend
Morrigan is genderfluid and has no preference of pronouns given they will change their physical form whenever they want
Originally their name was just Morgan/Morgana, but I didn’t want to just reuse the exact name. When I was looking into similar names I saw that researchers have tried to link The Morrigan and Morgana. Ngl I like the spelling of Morrigan, it looks more magical to me
Morrigan was born in the Kingdom of Swords but was cast out of their kingdom when they were little alongside their younger brother Archer (my Arthur inspired oc) when their uncle usurped the throne.
Morrigan and Archer were separated when they were being sent out of the kingdom. Morrigan would later be found and cared for by Crowley. Archer would be found by Ambrose but is generally looked after by a friend of Ambrose’s
Morrigan’s birth name is Morrigan Caliburnus, though they go by “Crowley” because they were raised by Crowley
Because the siblings were so young, they didn’t know of the other’s existence until Archer began attending RSA.
Morrigan ignored Crowley for two months after finding out about Archer because they were upset that Crowley and Ambrose hid this from them.
Morrigan said they were over the situation pretty early on, but wanted to bully Crowley a little.
Because Crowley seems to love vacationing, I imagine him and Morrigan traveled a lot when Morrigan was young.
Due to this, Morrigan didn’t watch a lot of tv as a kid. They were too busy exploring the towns and cities they would visit.
Morrigan befriended Vil when they were kids. Like Jack, Morrigan didn’t know Vil was a child actor when they met because they didn’t watch TV
When Vil and Morrigan were kids he often mistook Morrigan for a girl because of their more feminine appearance. B/c Morrigan doesn’t take to much stock in how they are viewed gender wise, they never corrected Vil.
Morrigan likes to tease Vil because when they met again at NRC, when Morrigan was a freshman, Vil didn’t recognize them right away.
Morrigan also befriended Silver when they were kids. They had taken one of Crowley’s magic mirrors and traveled to Briar Valley because they were bored.
They ended up meeting Malleus and the others through Silver.
Back then Morrigan thought Malleus and Sebek were “weird” but said that’s what made them interesting to be around.
Morrigan was gifted a small magic mirror by Crowley when they were 16. It was mainly so that Morrigan would stop stealing his mirrors.
The mirror is a small handheld one, think Eve’s mirror from the Descendants movies. The only difference is that Morrigan’s can create portals to places in Twisted Wonderland
Morrigan is in the same class as Harry and Riddle, though didn’t really befriend/interact with them until after Riddle’s overblot
Morrigan is sometimes called lazy because they often don’t like attending classes. In reality they have a really odd sleep schedule and will sometimes stay up for hours exploring campus or reading up on ancient relics leaving them exhausted.
The only reason Morrigan regularly goes to classes even when tired is because Crowley would likely throw a fit if they didn’t.
Morrigan is skilled in magic across the board (they are in Daisomnia after all) but excels in ancient curses. They also love to study ancient relics and artifacts.
Like Malleus, Morrigan founded the “Study of ancient relics” club, though is currently the only member. The activities of the club are pretty self explanatory.
Morrigan is often seen as an intimidating figure like most Daisomnia students. Tack on their relation to Crowley and most stead clear of them.
Because they often wander around campus alone and like to look into ancient relics/spells/artifacts/etc a lot of students who don’t know Morrigan are put off or creeped out by them
However, to those who know them, Morrigan is a friendly and generally good natured person. They have a mischievous and sarcastic personality and are known to tease people they’re close with. It’s kind of like their love language in a way.
They’re pretty charismatic and seem to be friendly to most people they meet when they actually socialise. They enjoy good gossip and can usually be seen gossiping with Rook, and occasionally Harry.
Overall Morrigan is just vibing most of the time lol. They’re just goin with the flow for the most part
Morrigan does, however, have quite a temper and can hold grudges (or appear to hold grudges) for a long time. Their anger usually is rooted in worry for their friends and loved ones; they can be quite protective.
Like I mentioned earlier, they became quite upset when they found out Crowley was hiding the truth about their past/family.
They even ignored Crowley for two months, and while they don’t necessarily hold a grudge anymore they are still a little bitter about it.
Morrigan also seems to hold some animosity or disinterest towards Neige LaBanche, though it seems to be rooted more out of worrie for Vil than anything Neige actually did.
Morrigan has also shown some sense of vanity. While they don’t necessarily care how people view them in regard to gender, they still take pride in their appearance. I like to think this is a trait a lot of Raven fae share to some degree.
One of their pet peeves is when people touch their hair without asking, especially if it’s Crowley
I think that’s all for now. I had something else I wanted to add but I can’t remember what it is. I’m sure it’ll come to me at some point.
Feel free to ask questions about any of my OC’s! As of right now I’m still debating on if Morrigan and Archer are full or half siblings.
Also here’s a bonus picture for Morrigan! I liked how their hair turned out but the blazer covered it 😅. You can also see the earrings and the gradient in the highlights a little better!

For some reason I can't open or view your updated Finnian Name Theory on mobile, maybe because my phone is too old or maybe the post is so long. I am SO CURIOUS about these comparisons you found between the warrior in the myth and Our!Ciel can you post it separately? 😣🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I'm sorry if this is asking a lot!
Sure. This post is also going to be bit lengthy though so hopefully you can still see it... I'll add an extra parallel, and some additional images juuust for you.
Parallels between Fionn (the warrior in the Fenian Cycle) and Our!Ciel
🍀The Salmon of Knowledge and Fionn’s Magic thumb  Abridged version: Fionn eats a magic salmon, he burnt his thumb on fat/juice that escaped from the salmon while it was cooking. Whenever the warrior brings his thumb to his mouth, he’s granted forbidden knowledge.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Our!Ciel always, always, ALWAYS wears the Phantomhive Ring on his thumb. It’s never on any other finger, never worn in any other fashion. One might think he could easily wear it around his neck on a chain, or have it pinned into place, or temporarily fashioned into a broach: But it is ALWAYS on his thumb, even when Sebastian had the perfect opportunity to resize it after the band was shattered. He purposefully places the ring on his thumb, and it consistently remains there.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There's also been some interesting artwork depicting our!Ciel holding his thumb close to his mouth drawn very recently... and even an early image of him licking it, made almost a decade ago. So this has been "a thing" for a while, now.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You’re probably wondering, Okay, but what about the salmon? This is the first meal we ever see in Kuroshitsuji. A meal Sebastian serves his Master. Page one of the manga:
Tumblr media
And if you’re thinking “It can’t be THAT important” you’re wrong: because as many might remember, The first season of the anime, did not follow manga canon (although the first meal was still poached salmon and mint salad).  As a result (and sort of a “refresher”) Episode One of Book of Circus is meant to be a “redo” or “recap” of the first chapter. Guess what he’s served, again just to remind us?
Tumblr media
Poached salmon!
🍀Revenge parallel, and similar childhood goals
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
They both ride a black horse
Tumblr media Tumblr media
🍀Bran and Sceólang (“raven” and “survivor”) / The dog parallel
Tumblr media
Fionn was famously said to have magic hounds, that were once his biological cousins that were trapped in hound form. They were loyal to him and loved him, one might argue, to a fault. He was considered a “master of hounds” and could get his hounds and near any dog, to do what he said.  ...Then, there’s our!Ciel– Clearly, he didn’t feel like he was living up to his namesake.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Until...of course. He gets a new "dog" of his own.
Tumblr media
🍀Fionn’s arch nemesis Fear Dorocha / Sebastian the ‘Black Butler’ Parallel
Tumblr media
(Keep in mind by ‘Fairy Queen’ They mean the Morrigan. Otherwise known as, the "great queen” or “phantom queen” and a powerful Celtic goddess of what one might consider, The Celtic underworld.)
I elaborated more on this story here in this ask if you want to follow this link.
Kind of weird both both of them had otherworldly evil Butlers to deal with, isn't it?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
🍀Bonus 🍀 Fionn is infamously known as "the sleeping warrior." According to legend he's not actually dead...but asleep. And he'll wake up in Irelands most dire hour of need. This 'wake up, Finn!' has long become a part of Irish folklore, and enmeshed in the culture in many sayings, folk songs and such. A message that for obvious reasons was aligned with "if you want this warrior to wake up it means you hate the Queen of England" so it's sort of... an inside joke. Many believe it's even been hidden in more popular Irish songs as well. The best example I have of this, is probably " Finnigans wake " which of course, has nothing to do with the warrior itself. It's meant to be a lighthearted, very funny and upbeat song about miserable drunk old man literally coming back to life because he's mistaken for dead. But the title choice is a play-on words. It sounds like "Finn, again, is 'wake."
Tumblr media
Our!Ciel has a tendency to be a very sleepy boy, but I find it incredibly interesting that Sebastian waking him up is such a stark, piece of imagery in the series as a collective whole. (There's another layer of suspicion if you're of the belief the twins were switched at birth). But this is also on the first page of the manga, the first time ANYONE speaks, is Sebastian. And he says this.

it's been 6 months since kovac game went on hiatus but we're finally picking up again in january!! new kovac lore under the cut
we lost two motley members (troll grump lou and pookah childling sadbh) and gained two more (redcap grump gale and a mystery nocker) so our st gave each of us an individual session where the world started to end > there was a crazy powerful unleashing of chronos > time rewound a week to July 7, 1969 and only the motley remembers. but! some things are different than the first July 7, like the disappearances of lou and sadbh.
kovac was with kier when time rewound, and he remembers too. between omens + memories kovac experienced during the timefuck and their following convos with kier they've unlocked a few memories from their past lives:
before they were changelings, kier and kovac were odin/the morrigan's ravens: thought (kier) and memory (kovac)
kier asked odin/the morrigan if they could change forms so they could experience the world differently, and s/he loved them and made them shapeshifters
they were immortal fae for thousands of years until the shattering, when they took up the changeling way
in every lifetime they find each other. depending on time and circumstances and their seemings, they're sometimes lovers, sometimes not; but they're always the most important person to the other, and they always fly home
in one of their first lifetimes together there was a child they looked after, and the three of them were a family. kovac can't remember her name but the memory of her face makes their heart ache
kovac has the True Love merit re: kier and in every lifetime they swear the same oath to each other. (we homebrewed this one, based on a combination of oaths for lovers + friendship + fealty)
there have been many lifetimes where they've broken other oaths for each other; in one, oathbreaker kovac went blind for a year and a day, and kier was their eyes all that time. that was the first lifetime when kovac's hair grew long enough to obscure their eyes
there was an early lifetime where kovac was older and kier kept dying too young; 4 of his lifetimes to 1 of theirs. since then kier has always been reincarnated first
they have known each others' True Names, though not yet in this life. kovac is still a childling
in the lifetime where kovac went blind, they were squire to another sidhe knight who used Sovereign to compel kovac to reveal kier's True Name to her. kovac unleashed chronos to rewind time to warn kier, breaking their oath of fealty to their house in the process. kovac went blind and they were both exiled. their ex-knight still possesses a bracelet she took from kovac, that kier gifted them in the lifetime with the forgotten child
in that lifetime kovac was also able to climb in and out of kier's shadow like that girl from the ring :)
there was a lifetime where kovac was forced to near-Undoing by a king, and kier swore an oath of vengeance to kill him. kovac's soothsaying foresaw that the king's allies would retaliate with cold iron, destroying kier's soul and separating them for good. he broke that oath for kovac, paying the price of facial scarring and the reputation of a coward for the rest of that lifetime

1 through 9 for Tara pls :3
Aaaa thank you!!
1. What is your ocs full name? Does this name have any special meaning/history?
Tara actually got her mother's last name. Her father found it more fitting as he left his (human) family behind to live with his wife. Her name is Tara Lunarsong, but by the time she's kidnapped by mind flayers, she just goes by Tara.
2. Does your oc have any nicknames? How did they get these nicknames?
After murdering her Master, people began calling her the Lily of the Valley, as they saw her as a cunning wizard who seduced him just to kill him.
Once she and Wyll pursue a more romantic relationship, he calls her 'his heart's queen'
3. How old is your oc?
I think she'd be somewhere early to mid twenties.
4. Does your oc have a defining physical trait? What makes this feature unique?
Besides dark raven curls, most people often notice her tattoos first. She has three flying birds tattooed on her cheekbone. It's very personal to her.
5. Does your oc have a defining personality trait? Why does this trait define them?
While minstrels make her out to be a poisonous, ruthless killer, she is actually pretty selfless. She likes to take care of herself, of course, but if she and someone else were in a desert and she only had one bottle of water, she'd give it to the other person. People who actually meet her are often surprised by this, especially because of the rumors spread about her.
6. What’s your oc’s current job and what’s their dream job? Do these jobs differ?
Tara actually never had a job. For a big part of her life, she's been an apprentice under her Master. She knows she's a good wizard - a great one, actually - but most of all, she misses living in a forest. As an outlander, it's where she feels most at home. If anything, she'd love to take up farming.
7. How would you describe your oc’s style? How would they describe their style?
I'd describe her style as medieval gothic. The clothing in Baldur's Gate 3 has a very specific style and it's been fun trying to come up with something that'd fit in game, while also having very dark colors. For Tara I took a lot of inspiration from Yennefer (The Witcher) and Morrigan (Dragon Age). I also took some inspiration from A Song of Ice and Fire, in terms of clothing style.
8. What is your oc’s relationship status? Are they content with this?
Her relationship with Wyll is complicated. First, they're both haunted by their own ghosts (For Tara, it's her Master, and for Wyll, it's Mizora), but even after they're both freed, they encounter their own struggles. Still, the two always find a way back to each other, time and time again. As they grow older, they both realize they want to stop running.
I like to think they retire to a small farm.
9. How would you describe your oc’s personality? How would they describe their personality?
Tara can seem very cold and uncaring when you first see her. But the truth is, she's built walls around herself. Granted, those walls aren't hard to break down, but she builds them anyway. She really struggles with trusting people and prefers to keep her true personality hidden until she knows she can trust you. When she does trust you, she's a loyal friend, who'll stick with you through thick and thin. Underneath her cold exterior, is just a woman who wants to be loved.

ok after the latest critical role episode and all the revelations about morrigan I’m starting to wonder if they’re gonna pull more from Irish mythology and have her be a triple aspect kind of figure bc The Morrigan is a tripartite goddess. Fearne describes her as such a maternal figure, and it’d be interesting if that is one of her archetypes or personas, and she fully is that archetype when she is, but then has other faces associated with the other archetypes that are part of her nature, I guess. Like, The Morrigan is the goddess of war, death, fate, as well as the sovereignty goddess of the land of ireland itself, I hope she’s as otherworldly and beautiful and terrifying and complex in the lore as she is in the mythology
which, another thing, super large overlap in aesthetics between the raven queen and the morrigan, the morrigan is associated with death, fate, and ravens, and also known as the great queen or the phantom queen. Something is really going on there. especially with the stuff that was in exu Kymal, like Morrighan being compelled to destroy the marble depicting what they assumed was the raven queen with the name that no one could comprehend and also her being sent into the material plane by Morrigan, it really feels like the compulsion to destroy the marble as well as the raven at the end of Kymal were from Morrigan, not the raven queen.
so is that marble a depiction of the morrigan actually, with a name no one can read? (it is interesting that morrigan is actually The Morrigan in irish mythology, more of a title than a first name, so knowing it doesnt necessarily mean we know the true name of morrigan). the name being incomprehensible is interesting because the previous god of death’s name was wiped from reality, but so was the raven queen’s true name, so it doesn’t really narrow down who it is definitively, but im leaning towards it being the previous god of death considering the raven queens true name was wiped when she ascended, so who could carve a bust of her after her ascension using a name that no longer exists to be comprehended. Which would be even more interesting, because that means morrigan wants to destroy her own name, to not be seen. Which, so does the raven queen. I think morrigan might be the old goddess of death somehow (I know all the lore uses he/him pronouns and says god of death, but if they were forgotten how would ppl remember their gender.) or they are somehow related as the same being in some way. or maybe they’re lovers, who knows. Whatever it is, they are certainly connected in some way and it is shrouded in a lot of secrecy, there is something being actively hidden there

Since C3 is taking a bit of a break I want to share some of my ongoing theories for some of the characters and reoccurring NPC's
F.C.G: What if they were stuck in one of those blue stasis bubbles in Aeor? There could be a connection to the Cognoza ward and when the Mighty Nein defeated the Somnovem there was a ripple effect into the ruins of Aeor and maybe one or multiple of those bubbles broke. F.C.G could have been trapped in one of these bubbles and his party could have been stuck on the outside. If F.C.G had a residual dream of the Eyes of Nine and then woke up from the stasis and saw their associates dead they could have mistaken the eye(s) as a monster that killed their party. As well the memory issues that he has could be because of a safety protocol to avoid secrets and information being shared.
Laudna: My crack theory for Laudna is that she is secret child of the Briarwoods. In the way of their baby disappeared to another family and there was some necromancy /blood magic in her (Laudna) so that she can talk to her child from beyond the grave or that Delilah sacrificed her to further her powers and Laudna was brought back by something outside of Delilah’s powers or Delilah is forced to be apart of Laudna now because of the blood connection/necromancy. I also have a list of beings/people who may possess Pate at some point in the campaign. I think it will be one (or more) of these four. Vax'ildan, Delilah, Orthax and/or the Raven Queen.
Orym: I love Orym a lot and as of right now I do not have a ton of theories for him but here are the few I have. My crack theory for him is that Apollo is his father for the sole reason that he referred to the sun as his father. I also think he could worship the Dawnfather as well as saying that the sun reminds him of Will's dad Derrig. Lastly I want to know wtf is up with Orym referring to (dead) family members as celestial bodies.
Fearne: I get a lot of Tangled vibes from Fearne's grandmother and do not believe that she is as nice as Fearne makes her out to be. I also think that Fearne is related in some way to Artagan. In campaign 1 Artagan was disguised as a satyr named Garmilie, he also stated that the hag living in the fey wild, named Wodenna is an ex so I believe that Fearne's grandmother is in fact Wodenna and Fearne is the child of Wodenna and Artagan. I also think separately but still related that Fearne's grandmother may be stealing/kidnapping children who have animal qualities (Fearne and Morrigan) and sending them through the Fey Wild gate.
Imogen: Is Imogen a seer of death? Her dream which included Bertrand happened the night he died but she also saw the Lumas twins in a separate dream a number of weeks after they died so it would not be a far stretch to say that she can see death in some way. I am curious to see if her obsession and proximity to the stone will come back to haunt her later, either in the way of physical changes like the shade creepers or mental changes (like withdrawal symptoms from not having the stone).
Ashton: I think Ashton is consecuted in some way. With the dunamantic magic being given to them later in life there is a bit of a further connection to Xhorhas and dumamancy but when he said that he was not always rock that reminded me of the dreams that consecuted individuals get when they have had another life connected to the beacon. There is another theory that I have where they went through a physical change and ended up at the Greymoore estate when they were older. This physical change could have scared their parents so much that they sent him away. Especially when thinking they could have at one point been a drow.
Chetney: Along the same lines as Orym, I do not have tons of theories for Chetney but I do want to know if he is okay. He has gone below the threshold of being able to control his werewolf powers a couple times now and after those times he has gone and hurt someone. First Orym in the museum and then the shop owner in Jrusar. Is there going to be an intervention from the group at some point if they find out Chetney hurt and threatened the shop owner? Also is there going to be a point where he becomes less and less able to control his werewolfness and the group will have to seek out the gorgynei to try and help Chetney and or seriously consider Dayal’s offer (who I am still on the fence about, I do want to believe that Dayal is a good person but also his ulterior motives may be hidden).
Lord Eshteross: No one is that paranoid without having a good reason, there is more to his story than what he is telling the group. Also I think that at some point he will betray the group. It could be a small betrayal such as sharing secret information or as big as giving them up to a bad group of people (possibly one trying to kill him seeing as he says that a lot of people want him dead).
Jianna Hexum: I have so many questions! Why is she buying/selling/shipping dumamantic magic? Does she know what it is? Has she kept any for herself? Is she in league with the remaining assembly members? Is she trying to get the evidence of the distilling of the beacon out of the continent before the assembly is fully disbanded? Or are there more beacons that have been found and someone is using previous notes from an assembly member/Yeza to create the same stuff and sell it (kind of like recreating the super soldier serum)? There is also part of me that thinks she may be connected/knows more about F.C.G's story than she lets on. considering how fascinated she is with automatons, especially him.
Thanks for reaching the end of the post! I have many more theories but these are my favourite so far. Bidet!

// I'd love to see you gush about your oc/s, that you been thinking about lately. So call this your chance to throw out any thoughts you had of them, how much you love them, musings, headcanons, aesthetics or anything that you have wanted to tell ♡♡ (or feel free to save this for later too ♡)
Ooh! I love talking about my oc’s! Thank you!
Higanbana is lightly based off of Izanami, the ruler and goddess of the dead. She refused her other half because he was not her type (she’s more into other women and feminine nonbinary folks). She does not trust men or masculine nonbinary, in fact. There are many gods in her pantheon that want power, and Higan wants nothing to do with the power struggle. Her mission is to one day destroy everything in existence to stop it. She has reincarnated multiple times in her life, and is slowly getting back her memories. And unfortunately, the power struggle between the gods has gone too far in her eyes. I will only ship her with Demi-gods and other immortals.
Nebula is my celestial spirit mage. She has other magic so she isn’t as useless in a fight? I’m thinking moon magic as her secondary. Her strongest is possibly Draco and Phoenix, which are silver keys. She uses Cassiopeia and Andromeda to bind her enemies. She really wants to get her hands on a golden key, but she respects the fact that they’re taken by Yukino and Lucy. She was jealous that Lucy is the most beloved of the constellations, but has been told by Draco, the constellations absolutely adore Yukino and her as well. That the Star King is aware of the humans that summon his subjects. Nebula concentrates on getting the other silver keys while strengthening her moon magic. She is part of the guild, Siren Wing which specializes in the destruction/monitoring of dark guilds.
Mistress Nemain, “the Morrigan” is the Miranda (oc) of the Fairy Tail universe. She manipulates darkness and shadows. She may be young but she is wise beyond her years. She firmly believes that it’s how one uses magic that determines whether or not a person is good or bad. She despises Ivan of Raven Tail, for furthering the perspective that ravens are nothing but bad luck. She is the guild master for Siren Wing, a guild that specializes in the destruction and monitoring of dark guilds. She sponsors the independent guild, Crime Sorciere in their endeavors. She does not particularly like the Council either.
Sanguine Valentine, manipulates a strange magic known as vampire slayer magic. She has the ability to slay vampires and any of the undead at the cost of slowly becoming one of them, albeit an anathema. She is flirtatious but has standards. Her magic is over blood and fire manipulation. She must also drink blood to sustain herself, a consequence of using her magic. She is part of Siren Wing, continues to go on missions with Mistress Nemain. Sanguine excels heavily in knowledge of cults, the undead, and vampire politics. Sanguine is not her real name.
Sabrina Nivian, is a water dragon slayer. Her dragon mother and Fuyu’s dragon father raised her and Fuyu together. This way, Sabrina knows ice and water dragon slayer magic. She does not remember, but she was ordered to kill her dragon mother out of mercy. Sabrina does her absolute best to investigate where the dragons ended up. She searches for a sign of them, an egg so she can atone for her mother’s death and care for a dragon of her very own. From her dragon mother’s last letter to her, she is able to receive a lead, “water dragon god”. She has not bonded with an exceed yet.
Fuyu Boreal, is an ice dragon slayer. Her dragon father raised her with Sabrina’s dragon mother. Fuyu knows ice and water dragon slayer magic. Fuyu was instructed to kill her father out of mercy. In her father’s last words were to look for the water dragon god. She has not bonded with an exceed yet. She also investigates where the dragons ended up and how to find a cure for her parent’s illness.
Then I have dragon au’s for Crimson and Miyuki.

Crows, Bones, and Crones - The Morrigan; The Phantom Queen
An Educational post of The Morrigan
Tumblr media
As with a lot of the Celtic gods, I find it hard to find good information on The Morrigan. So I've decided to make this post for her!
Links will be provided as I do advocate that you do your own research.
Who is The Morrigan?
The Morrigan is known to many as the Triple Goddess of Death, The Phantom Queen, The Great Goddess, Great Queen, etc. Calling The Morrigan as one entity is similar to how Christians believe in the Father, the Son, and The Holy Spirit. She is three sisters and yet she is one goddess. It's ok if it is hard for you to grasp, humans weren't meant to understand gods.
(Known mostly in Irish mythology, there have been other figures in various Celtic mythology that are similar to her such as Morgan Le Fey.)
Etymology:
The name Morrigan, or Morrigu, is the anglicized of the Gaelic name Mór-Ríoghain, which means "Great Queen" in modern Irish.
The old name has been linked to the proto-indo-european word Mór (terror) and Ríoghain could relate to the Latin word Regina (queen). This is not fact, just speculation.
Skills and Strengths:
While gifted in many things, she is most known for her roles in battles, fate, and death.
Weapons:
Magic is seen to be her most used form of fighting. This includes shapeshifting, raining blood on her enemies, and more.
Symbols:
Inverted Triangle
Triple Spiral
Snake Coils
Owls
Crows and Ravens
Vultures
Faerie Rings
Fae
Holy Days: Samhain is a popular holiday for The Morrigan due to her significance with death.
Family:
It's not entirely known who her family is, though many believe her to be the wife or lover of the Dagda.
Siblings have included Ériu, Banba, and Fódla, who make up the triple goddess of spirit and sovereignty of Ireland.
Badb and Macha (or sometimes Neiman) who, along with the Morrigan, make up the triple goddess of war.
As well as the Glon, Gnim, Coscar, Fiacha, and Ollom, her brothers.
What is known is that she is the daughter(s) of Ernmas.
First Appearance
Sadly, not much is known for sure about this Great Queen. She first appears in Lebor Gabála Érenn (The book of invasions) which talks about the migration of the Tuatha Dé Danann to Ireland.
The earlier inhabitants, the Firbolg and the Fomorians, of the island didn't like the presence of these new beings and they found themselves at war, first with the Firbolg. Though the battle was hard and lives were lost (such as Ernmas, her mother) the Tuatha emerged victorious.
Later the new god of the Tuatha Dé Danann, Lugh asked the Morrigan for a prediction about the conflict arising between them and the Fomorians. She predicted that they would go to war.
Later her husband, the Dagda, would ask for a stronger prediction of this war to which she replied that though they would win the war, a terrible price would be paid. She also foretold that she would kill the Fomorian king Indech and bring fistfulls of his blood to the River Unshin.
The battle with the Fomorians ended with a poem from the Morrigan.
Ulster Cycle
The Goddess would also appear many times in the Ulster Cycle, a series of Old Irish myths and legends.
She appeared in the story with Cú Chulainn and after a series of events and his own foolishness, she prophesizes his death.
Later, as he is dying, Cú Chulainn ties himself to a stone with his entrails so that he can die standing up. Only once a crow has landed on his should do his enemies actually believe his is dead.
You can guess who the crow was.
Goddess of Death
Most widely know as the Goddess of Death, this title alone does not describe her. She was widely worshipped as being a goddess of earth and sovereignty.
It has been said that her breasts create the he hills in County Kerry called Da Chich Annan.
Author's Notes:
I wish there was more material I could offer here. Sadly there is so little written works left from ancient Ireland that have been found. This is just a run-down on the goddess and what you may need to know if you're looking into her.
If you have any links or texts that are credible that you would like to add, please let me know.

With Delilah back on her bullshit (derogatory), there’s a lot of renewed speculation for who Laudna’s new warlock patron could be once she inevitably kicks Delilah out of her head. I understand the appeal of having it be Vax because Aesthetic, but he serves the Raven Queen, who loathes the undead. I highly doubt she’d let her champion make a pact with Laudna because, you know, dead girl
On the other hand, Fearne’s grandmother is named Morrigan. It could be nothing, but knowing Fearne, it sure sounds like she could be talking about actual Morrigan Morrigan. And, since Fearne is there to vouch for Laudna, it would probably be very easy to convince her to make a pact with lenient terms. Something like, “You’ve helped keep my granddaughter safe thus far. I’ll give you power, so long as you use it to continue helping her.” There’s also a really cool Pact of the Morrigan homebrew that has copious crow/raven imagery and death motifs, plus it would give Laudna yet ANOTHER way to keep from dropping to 0 hit points, so like. I could see it

“The deities or spirits revered in the Old Craft are dark chthonic ones associated with the powers of creation and destruction, life and death, growth and decay. Although aptly described by Gerald Gardner as 'twilight deities', they do include a god of fire and light and a goddess who has a bright aspect. They are spirits connected to the sun, moon and stars yet also to the earth, field and woodlands. The witch-god and witch-goddess can bring their worshippers the gifts of prosperity and fertility, but they are also the rulers of fate and death. The traditional witch-goddess, who is associated with pagan deities such as Hecate, Artemis-Diana, Freya, the Morrigan, the Norns, the Fates, and Holda, has both bright and dark aspects. Her sacred metals are silver and platinum and she is associated with animals, birds and insects, such as the mare, owl, crow, goose, vixen, hare, cat and spider.
When she manifests, the witch-goddess can appear clairvoyantly or physically as either a beautiful woman or a hideous old hag. For that reason she is often linked with the waxing and waning moon and lunar magic, with nature 'red in tooth and claw", with winter and summer, heaven and the underworld. In some representations her face is coloured half black and half white, or is old on one side and young on the other to illustrate her dual aspects. Sometimes the goddess looks fair from the front while her back is rotten like a hollow tree. She has also been described as pale-faced with ruby coloured lips, shining green eyes, and long black hair. In common with the faeries and angelic beings, the witch-god and goddess in their elven form have pointed ears and slanted eyes.
The horned god of the witches is also dual-faced like the Roman deity Janus because he rules both life and death. In the summer he is the virile and fertile Lord of the Greenwood or Green Man, whose foliate mask can be seen carved in wood and stone in pre-Reformation churches. As winter comes and the God descends to the underworld he takes on the darker and more sinister persona. He becomes the harvester of deceased souls and the psychopomp or guide to the dead on their journey to the Hollow Hill or underworld. In this dark season he is the Lord of the Wildwood and the Master of the Wild Hunt. His various divine aspects include a solar deity, a vegetation god, the ‘king of the faeries', a smith god, and a lord of light and master of fire. As such, he can be mythically associated with Herne the Hunter, King Arthur, Oberon, Baphomet, Bucca, Sylvanus, Pan, Woden, Tubal-Cain, Wayland the Smith, or Lucifer. His sacred animals and birds include the stag, goat, bull, ram, dog, fox, snake, wolf, heron, peacock and raven.
Physically the witch-god as the Man in Black or Dark Man appears as tall and thin, clean shaven, with a pale skin and dark hair and eyes. He wears old-fashioned dark or black clothing that may beragged, sometimes with a long cloak, a highwayman's mask and a wide brimmed hat, and carries a forked staff that may have a lantern attached to it. Other times he will appear wearing a black hooded robe like a monk's habit, hence one of his names is the 'Hooded Man’. He is accompanied by a large shaggy black dog, and when visiting his followers in visions and dreams is often also seen in the company or vicinity of horses, wolves, dragons, lizards, large snakes and prehistoric sabre-toothed tigers and cave bears. 'The Man in Black’ can be encountered at the witching hour of midnight at crossroads, bridges, fords, stiles and gates. In his underworld aspect as the Lord of Death he is associated with precious and semi-precious jewels, gold and quartz. These gems and metals may also feature in his symbolism or physical appearance.
Some traditional witches prefer not to link their deities with any particular mythology or pantheon from pre-Christian times. Instead they refer to them in neutral or abstract terminology as the Old Ones, the Lord and Lady, the Shining Ones, the Lad and Lass, the Old Man and Old Woman, Old Hornie, the Old Queen or even just as Him or Her, or Himself and Herself. Taking this a stage further, there are some traditions of the Old Craft that do not use anthropomorphic images of the witch-god and goddess. Behind the archetypal images of the Lord and Lady, many traditional witches also recognize the Nameless One or Providence, sometimes called Nox or Night , who has no physical form and transcends all the other gods and goddesses, or an unknowable Cosmic Creator/Creatorix.”

RP rules
⚜ No sexual NSFW (mildly suggestive stuff like flirting is ok). Violence, gore, and other NSFW topics are ok but just stay away from anything explicitly sexual.
⚜ No bigotry (Racism, sexism, homophobia, you get the gist. Just be nice to people ffs)
⚜ Light flirting and banter is ok if you do not have a muse. My portrayal of Alcina is flirty, confident and overall relaxed when it comes to stuff like that (especially considering the whole internet is head-over-heels for her lol, I feel like she would be used to that stuff and even enjoy it a bit.)
⚜ No fetishizing any demographic (POC, LGBT, Neurodiverse, etc.)
⚜ I do not rp incest. Seriously, that’s nasty.
⚜ Do NOT nag me for faster replies. I have anxiety and depression and stuff like that really stresses me out. I work at my own pace so please respect that.
⚜ If you want to start a complex story with me, please send a summary of your idea to my DMs before you go sending me a starter ask.
⚜ I reserve the right to refuse any starters or asks if I so desire
⚜ I am open to crossovers but you must have a clear description of your muse either on your blog or send a description of them to my DMs. Always ask me in my DMs if I know who your muse is so there is no confusion.
About
⚜ My portrayal of Alcina tends to be pretty canon-divergent given the limited amount of information about her as of now. Please be mindful of this when rping with me.
⚜ Non-RP blogs are allowed to follow me
⚜ All of my muse’s romantic relationships are in separate verses.
Disclaimer: I'm very new to roleplaying like this so advice and patience are very much appreciated :) I am also very new to Resident Evil so forgive me if I make any mistakes regarding lore.

Wishlist for AC: Wrath of the Druids
Because my field is literally only relevant ONCE in a blue moon and I’m making the most of it.
Look, I’d pretend that this is going to be some sort of profound meditation on Irish Mythology, the nature of medieval literature, etc. But no. Here is the list that, after 9 years of studying these texts, 15 months of which have been in an intensive MA program in Ireland, I have come up with as far as “Members of the Tuatha Dé Who Are The Most Slappable.” I’ve also tried to go with the high profile members, since, if Curse of the Pharaohs and Atlantis were any indication, we’re primarily getting the high rollers here.  (I would like to make it very clear that I say this with the utmost of affection - I would not have studied these guys for 9 years if I actually HATED them.)
First off, I’m ready and willing to bet money that the Tuatha Dé are going to be controlled by the members of this druid cult mentioned in the adverts, not unlike what we saw in Curse of the Pharaohs. I suspect that the cult will get ahold of an apple of Eden and summon up images of the Tuatha Dé to be a part of their wicked, wicked schemes. A part of me WOULD like for something different, but...well. It’s a proven formula, and why mess with success?
Lugh. One of the most easily recognizable members of the Tuatha Dé, and SUPER slappable. Would make an EXCELLENT final boss, and would guarantee that I would buy it. Like. It is literally impossible to overstate exactly how much I would be willing to buy this game just for the chance to bitchslap Lugh.
The Dagda. Another HIGHLY recognizable member. Not as imminently slappable as Lugh, but a massive thot, and, let’s be real, who DOESN’T want to slutshame the Dagda, at least a little? Albeit this time with. A sword. Also has a SICK staff that can bring people to life/kill them, depending on which side he uses, and canonically has a zombie xylophone. Would make a FANTASTIC boss.
Lugh.
The Morrigan. Look. I don’t WANT to fight the Morrigan, not really. Honestly, of all the Tuatha Dé, I have the most personal respect for her, because she’s very honest about doing her own thing, but do I really think that Ubisoft would pass up the chance for a bloodthirsty raven lady? No I do not. And, tbh, it would be kind of sick.
Lugh.
Cú Chulainn. Is Cú Chulainn one of the Tuatha Dé? No, he isn’t. Is there a hint that he’s anything BUT mortal? Not....really, despite some speculation that he might have been x god or y god, he fits fairly firmly into the demigod mold. That being said....(1) I WOULD like to fight Cú Chulainn, on a personal level (#JusticeForAífe) and (2) .....Look, can you imagine fighting against the warp spasm? Yeah. Yeah. Also, given they made you fight King Tut in the Curse of the Pharaohs DLC, it’s obvious that they’re going off of name recognition more than accuracy, and CC IS easily the most recognizable figure from medieval Irish literature. (Bonus: Fighting CC and getting the Gáe Bulg as a reward?)
Lugh. As Cú Chulainn’s father, it’s only appropriate to get the family combo here.
Midir. Do I think that they WOULD use Midir? No. He’s a little too specialized, even though Tochmarc Étaíne is, arguably, the single most popular of the Mythological Cycle texts. And he is oh so very slappable. That, and he does have a history of fucking with mortals, so he could be a REALLY fun fight. If I was designing the game, I would have him and Óengus in a tag team duo, and there would be horse urine involved. (This is why I do not work at Ubisoft.)
Lugh.
If Midir is too specialized, Bres is REALLY too specialized, along with the fact that, if you bring Bres in, you HAVE to bring the Fomoire in. But also. I’ve got to request my boy. He would be so much FUN. But. Unlikely. He tends towards the obscure side, though, and even when people remember he exists, it tends to be in a very small role. I would put more money on Balor being in, because he’s kind of the breakout star of Cath Maige Tuired (and the folklore around it), but I really want Bres.
Lugh.
Dían Cecht. Grumpiest. Doctor. Ever. And you could do a lot with his whole. “Killing his son”. Thing.
Lugh.
Aillén. A little on the obscure side, but imagine. Fighting a member of the Tuatha Dé who breathes fire. Talk about a BADASS boss fight. Also getting to walk in the footsteps of Fionn mac Cumhaill, aka one of the greatest of Ireland’s heroes. It would be a very tempting prospect.
Lugh.
....look. I want to emphasize this: I do NOT want to slap Bríg. Bríg is quite possibly the purest of the TDD, and that’s because we know next to nothing about her. But also...she IS really high profile, and I could see her acting as a sort of guide or counsellor ala Aletheia. AKA “One of the few sane Isu hanging around.” You could go some really interesting routes there, IF you wanted to. I’m not sure they’d be willing to, but I would personally like it.
The Otherworld as a location you can visit, like Asgard or the Duat. Bonus if it highlights how reality twists and bends in the Otherworld, because some of the leading scholarship on it at the moment says that the place, as it was understood in medieval Ireland, was batshit insane, and I would LOVE to see them taking it on in a game. Bonus for also bringing in Sidhe mounds.
Also. I want to fight Lugh.
Danu - Look. I don’t want to fight Danu. Mainly because Danu, as a figure, doesn’t really EXIST in the myths, as such. The general consensus of the field, at this point, is that the original name for the TDD was....Tuatha Dé, which you’ll note is the term I use. It gets complicated when the name does gain traction, and the question as far as how old some of this goes back is long and extensive and not something I want to tackle at an ungodly hour of the evening, but. I don’t WANT her to be here when there are so many other figures who actually have a presence. But. Well. The cult’s name is “Children of Danu”, so a bitch has got to accept it’s likely. But I’m still putting her at the bottom because I don’t like it.
For what it’s worth, my final guesses are locked in at Lugh, the Dagda, the Morrigan, and finding some way to bring Cú Chulainn in. Nuada might make for a dark horse option, though....I hate to say this, Nuada doesn’t really have the PERSONALITY to really function as a boss on his own. They could try, but I feel like they’d have to either expand quite a bit or riff off of his Early Modern portrayal as a bitter, jealous king, and...I still don’t trust them to have done the research for that. (I’m sorry, but after the Mari Lwyd, they will have to go a LONG way to earn my trust, especially with my baby.) Danu is...likely, but I won’t be happy if she is, even though it won’t make or break my decision. I feel like the Otherworld has GOT to be a lock, but I’m ready and willing to be disappointed. Also, despite this being based allegedly on the Mythological Cycle materials, I would be VERY surprised if they didn’t bring in later folklore like the banshees, because, let’s be real, why wouldn’t they?
