Team Phantom get ripped from their home universe into the DCverse. With no money or real ID's in this world. Now thats a problem.

Another big problem is that Danny is badly injured and his core kinda put him into a deep cryo sleep. He needs to rest and gather ectoplasm.

Bigger problem Team Phantom have no clue how to get home because they don't know how to decode the Fenton Portal blue-prints, not even Jazz who at the time didn't pay attention to her parents portal work anymore by the time they finished it. The only one who does have an idea is Danny!

Biggest problem, they landed in a place called Gotham that seems to be overrun with actual villains and heroes? (vigilantes). And for some odd reason many of them seem to find them no matter where the Team goes to hide.

Until they can get their hands on a safe space, tech, and money, Team Phantom might have to go a bit Rogue/Villainous if they wanna keep Danny safe until he wakes up.

One thing I love about Hughie is that he’s the main character, but in such a “y/n” way. Completely unremarkable, ordinary loser who gets dragged into a life of crime and adventure by accident and whom everyone falls in love with upon meeting him, most of the time for absolutely no reason. Butcher wants to be his manic pixie dream psycho so bad, but then also breaks his own back to protect him. Frenchie and MM would kill Butcher if it weren’t for the fact that it’d make Hughie sad. Annie is a 10000/10 and wants to spend the rest of her life singing cringy teen music with him and and easing her way into pegging him. A-Train ended up with his life hopelessly tangled with Hughie’s and can’t seem to let it go. Victoria spent her breaks sharing snacks with him, knowing he’s murdering Supes — and never stopped trusting him, to the point where she came to him when she had every reason to believe he’d want her dead. Soldier Boy literally escaped endless torture and spent 90% of his newly won freedom trying to impress Hughie by putting on a little macho man show for him. The only person who’s truly immune to Hughie and his “putting his hair in a messy bun before getting sold to 1D” charm is Homelander, who genuinely just hates him. Fascinating character design, all in all.

Any AU that lets Wei Wuxian have his core is a good one, in my mind. This one also has the added bonus of him remembering not having a core and still having that willingness to sacrifice the very center of his being for another person a second time.

God Shen Jiu would be unhinged about Wei Wuxian.

Being saved by anyone is one thing. Being saved by a fellow omega who watched ghosts rip into the alphas of the Qiu family with glowing red eyes and the hint of a smile as he played his black dizi? World changing. The very center of who Shen Jiu is as a person has shifted to attach to Wei Wuxian and the lengths he would go to make sure the two of them live and live well cannot be underestimated. He would burn down the world for even half a chance that the two of them got to live happily in the ashes.

Wei Wuxian who was born with a smiling face, who would throw himself onto the sword to protect people he hadn't even met, who enacted bloody justice without hesitation or remorse.

He would be like cat nip to Shen Jiu.

Kind of a weird AU but hear me out:

Finwe marries Indis, right? Most controversial thing Finwe ever done and that includes leading elves from their ancestral home to a new continent to live with gods. Silmarillion says that it happened because he fell in love and I believe it BUT what Silmarillion doesn't tell you is WHEN Finwe marries Indis. I saw posts that say the canon is inconclusive and Tolkien probably changed his mind a lot, and half of what of what Tolkien wrote is thrown from the window by fandom, so.

Anyway, one of the versions said Feanor was at least a teenager when Finwe/Indis happens (I think). What Silmarillion states is that Feanor married VERY young by elven standards, and that Nerdanel was below his station (classism? in elven society? apparently!).

Last thing before I get to the main point: Fingolfin marries Anaire, a Noldo lady, who I saw often enough written as a noble or a court lady, perfectly fine that, no idea if that's canon. And Finarfin very much marries Teleri princess.

...I don't know guys, it feels very convienient. For princes to fall in love with exactly the kind of women who would be approved by royal court and strenghten political ties with other elven factions. If it was anything else than silm, I would call political marriages.

Time for crack: based on what I wrote above I propose an AU where it was FEANOR who was supposed to marry Indis. For politics! Vanyar are the most important faction in Aman! Let's marry into that!

But the MOMENT Feanor became an adult and they could process with courting without making it creppier than it already is, Feanor runs off to elope with his coworker and there's nothing they can do. Well, that's what Finwe tells Ingwe when Ingwe rages about it to him.

Finwe loves Feanor, he wants him to marry for love, and that's exactly what happens. But, uh, all Vanyar are pissed that there's no political marriage when they were promised one (they mad cause they look stupid now), and, well. Finwe decides to bite the bullet. For his son.

It's not true of course. But imagine family dinners after that.

Bruce would treat the coat like the most fragile piece of spun glass and marvel at the softness. He’d be so, so happy the skittish little Selkie boy he adopted feels safe enough to let him touch a piece of his soul and trusts him to keep it safe. Bruce would be hyper aware of any signs from Jason that he wants his coat returned to him the entire time, mildly terrified he’ll accidentally do something to spoon the kid.

Cobb would pretend like he could care less and treat it like any valuable trinket a court member hands him, casually but with the utmost care. But joke’s on him, Jason totally saw him pull a knife on a curious Court member that came a little too close to the coat for comfort, even though the poor guy was just trying to reach the door to the left of the Talon.

(The coat is always safest with Cobb. No contest. The Talon would sooner allow himself to be beheaded than let the pelt come to harm. And usually he’s too scared he’ll damage the soft fur to pet it, so Jason makes a game out of draping it around his shoulders every once in a while, pretending like he doesn’t see how Cobb sometimes indulges himself and rubs his cheek against the fuzzy seal fur.) 🪙🦭
