and it's like three minutes of them talking about Ken not even having any pickup lines because his way of flirting isn't even flirting, it's him picking up something Barbie accidentally dropped (even though Barbie doesn't make mistakes) and saying "oh hey you dropped this 😳" and then offering it to Barbie and then when Barbie says thank you while making eye contact he's shaking and thinking "oh god what a perfect day Barbie looked at me" and then he'll ride that high the entire day. and the interviewer was like "but that isn't a pickup line" and Ryan said "no I don't... this seems like a wild comparison to make, but i think that looking at the difference between scaramouche stans and childe enjoyers is so funny. they're pretty similar characters on a meta-level (piles of childhood trauma that made them hyper-violent in the present, introduced by presenting themselves as an ally to the traveler before dropping the facade only to become a true ally later on, cringe, etc.), but scaramouche stans are very much,,, actual stans who whole-heartedly support his brattiness and atrocities whereas childe enjoyers are just like "i'd put him in a glass jar on my bedroom windowsill and feed him dirt once a month" and otherwise seem to actually despise this man while also expressing their carnal lust for him at every possible chance. your brains are fascinating to me.

also, no! i do appreciate malleus for his comedic potential and homoerotic yearning, but he is simply not as precious to me as he could be. i think riddle or ruggie would probably be my top guy for twst (not overall), but ortho is my Baby Boy of All Time, with duece as a close second. it's a good game if you're looking to adopt some awful, awful children. not so much for guys tho.
