Eruptor is happiest being in-between the two, they're both high energy while he's more mellow, he's happy when they are, being the emotional support of the group.

My headcanons about Dick Grayson

Dick Grayson is smart.

Like I hate it when they make him a dumb bimbo, he's hot yes he knows it, but he also has been hacking into the Pentagon for fun since he was ten, survived Spyral and several almost apocalypses. I know it's cannon since no Bat is dumb, but some fics, SOME FICS, make him look like he never went to school.

Dick Grayson knows so many languages.

I assume due to the fact that he grew up in a traveling circus he already knew a lot of languages(even if his english was bad when his parents died), but due to being robin and Bruce Wayne's ward he learned basically all major languages on Earth( and some alien) like Romani, German, French, Russian, English, Italian, Greek, Spanish, Irish, Finish, Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Indian, Latin, backwards speech(Zatara), Tamoranian(i think that's how you spell it), Kryptonian, speedster(when speedsters talk super fast) and so on.

Dick Grayson has at least some immunity against Fear toxin(Ft), Joker venom(Jv).

And most of the other poisons due to constant exposure since he was 9, also when he was younger there were no antidotes for Ft and Jv so he learned how to ride them out without a sound. (You can't tell me it hasn't fucked him up somehow, like a 9 y/o being constantly exposed to these things HAS to have some consequences and while he has his immunity I also think he has extreme anxiety( like all the bats a.k.a. Bat paranoia) and constant panic attacks(next headcanon))

Dick Grayson is a master at controlling his body.

Besides the fact that he probably learned acrobatics before he could walk and was a stage performer(always smiled even if the performance got off the rails) I also think he has taught himself complete control of his body due to far too many close calls. He learned to control each muscle individually for combat under high-stress situations(where he most needs that control). This had a side effect of him being able to control his face muscle/expressions and body language. He became the best actor there will ever be, because he can keep a smile on his face even if he is in excruciating pain, he can look completely calm and relaxed even though he is having a panic attack and the opposite is true as well he can look completely terrified even though he is amused. Because of this you need to know him extremely well to tell if he's in distress(the only people so far are Alfred, Damian and Slade(he's obsessed))

Anyway if you want more of the headcanon's just say, Nightwing is one of my favourite characters I can rant about him much longer.

— most likely the teammate to be the loudest on & off the court. like he’s always cheering on his fellow teammates & would be the first one to help the other up whenever they trip or get pushed onto the floor.

— gives the greatest pep talks before a game & is quite good at hyping up his teammates on an individual level. also helps them out whenever he sees one get too into their heads & tries to get them out of it.

Please forgive me for asking but I just loved I recently seem your piece with Dora and Judit and its just so amazing... please please tell me more about the AU please please please I beg you...

I don't have this AU very developed yet, but the premise I came up with is a ‘simple’ one: what would everyone's life be like if their decisions were their own, without the expectations of others.

Oddly enough, I didn't draw them together because I ship them but because I think they would get along well in this universe. BUT, if someone has read it that way, I think it's perfect!

So far I've come to the conclusion that Dora wouldn't need convince Harry to become a policeman to improve the city because she would be the one doing it despite her opposing family. I'm sure that after the divorce (they parted ways as quickly as they got married), he's is still a gym teacher with an Art Degree and painting is his side gig, enough for him to exhibit in a gallery. Dora leads by example and has been in the RCM for several years now, she's Lt. Viquemare's satellite-officer.

JV is still clinically depressed because he's constantly pushing himself, and although he takes prescription medication, he's not addicted to drugs because he doesn't know Tequila Sunset. Tequila may show up sooner or later, when Harry gets burned out by the flawed school system and Revachol's upper class, belittling his art for being a ‘poor man with pretensions and a paintbrush’.

Judit has never seemed to me to be in a hurry to get married, so here she's single with no children (yet), and runs a small exhibition space. She doesn't have a great eye for art but has enough sense to run a business well. She has a partner, Cindy, who in exchange for a roof over her head lends her a hand in this regard.

And as for Kim… there's a lot to unpack there. I hesitate between whether he would stay exactly the same because all his life decisions are made by him, or whether he would be totally different because he is unaffected by the injustices around him. I don't want to leave him in the middle ground.

That's more or less what I've got so far from this AU, it needs some worldbuilding yet. If you like it, you can do whatever you want with these ideas. If you create something about it, tag me so I can see it! I love AUs, headcanons and all creations from this fandom!

Wait SAY MORE about junior year Ducks. Who is on Varsity vs. JV in your mind?

OK SO i got this ask but i also got another asking which issues i could see the ducks having in junior/senior year so i’m just gonna combine them!!

for me, the people making varsity would be adam, julie, guy, ken, fulton & charlie because (imo) they've always had the most potential

i like to think imagine adam would struggle with the fact that this may be a repeat of freshman year, however i do think because he has more ducks with him it’d be an easier transition this time around. i’d also love a storyline where has to deal with old varsity members who he knew in freshman year (who were in their sophomore year/now their senior year) who still feel like he betrayed them and don’t want to trust him. maybe a player who’s on the same level as banks and gives him an actual challenge for ~star player. would also love the return of the hawks (larson and/or mcgill) in his personal life because i’ve always felt like that was an unfinished storyline

one thing i’ve always appreciated about the ducks is that it’s a mixed team of boys and girls, with everyone on equal footing. connie, julie, and tammy have always been just as good as the rest (or even better). and it worked really well at the peewee level! but if we’re being realistic… as they get older, i feel like physical differences might start to have a bigger impact. especially in contact sports like hockey. in d3, we already saw connie getting knocked around pretty easily because she’s fucking tiny in comparison to some of the dudes. hell, they even alluded to it in d2, when dwayne had to rescue her by lassoing the opponent. so yeah, i think it would make sense to have separate teams to ensure everyone’s safety and fairness… and eden hall definitely has the resources for it. it’d be awesome to see a storyline for connie where she came to terms with this (and this mostly being the reason she didn’t make varsity) and then decide to team up with linda to petition for a women’s team at eden hall. this would most likely cause friction with julie, however, who is playing on a mixed team’s varsity and doesn’t want to give that up–but, as a goalie, is also in a slightly different situation because she isn’t getting the brunt of all the physical plays. this would actually be a really cool fic to read… if written with respect ofc. i don’t wanna see any misogynistic or transphobic bs

for guy, i think he’s a great technical player. he’s above the average, but he’s also just kinda… there. he doesn’t have adam’s single-minded focus & talent, or charlie’s tenacity & leadership insight, or jesse’s killer instinct, or even something that sets him apart like fulton’s slapshot or kenny’s fluidity on the ice. something that always catches my attention is guy basically going “we all played like shit” and connie retaliates with “no YOU did that, i played hard” which was 100% a line they threw in to make us aware of the fact they’re (still) fighting. but i like the headcanon that guy joined the ducks (district 5 at the time) because he wanted to have fun with his friends, and it turns out he’s actually pretty good, but he doesn’t actually have that a lot interest in the sport itself. he could struggle with the fact that he doesn’t have the passion that other people may expect from someone with his skill

with kenny, i think he’s a great player and deserves a varsity spot no doubt, but i would honestly just love more insight as to why he quit figure skating to play hockey in the first place 💀 like is it a cultural impact vs financial stability kind of thing? tibbles says “i convinced him hockey had more of a future” which might be true. does kenny ever end up regretting choosing hockey? we will never know… because even the creator of tmd did not care to give him a narrative and i think that’s bs. i would also love a kenny & tammy intro, where tammy was the opposite and decided to choose figure skating over hockey

fulton would continue the storyline they scrapped in d3: who is he without his fellow bash brother? i love bash bros but i’d love to see him realize that he is his own person and that whatever future he sees for himself–whether that’s in hockey or something else entirely–he doesn’t NEED portman there to be a great player and defenseman. in turn portman would feel Some Type Of Way that fulton got picked for varsity and he didn’t, but this also makes him determinated to improve on his own too. give them some friction but in the end they realize that they don’t need each other on the ice to grow but want to be in each other’s lives anyway

and then there’s charlie… let’s take away that c!! i’d imagine varsity already has a captain and charlie has to settle for not leading the charge for once (tho he’ll get it back in senior year imo). i just want him to build a better relationship with hockey and have fun without the pressure of trying to fill a certain role or weird attachment issues. but i also think i’d like most of his drama to just not be hockey/team related (other than trying to placate everyone now that there’s a clear divide) but let him deal with his daddy issues

i think russ would essentially be fine still playing for jv bc by this time he’s realized he doesn’t wanna go pro and has found something else to occupy his time. dwayne is just sad the team doesn’t get together a lot. the rest… idk. luis is too busy with mindy/being a perv and averman & goldberg are too busy being annoying and/or sabotaging the team i guess 💀

Logan. Ele era o mais afetuoso com a Scarlly, e é com a Love também, porque ele é assim. Além do mais, a Love ainda tá aprendendo a deixar as pessoas se aproximarem mais, então ela ainda tá se acostumando com isso, e pode acabar passando a imagem de ser um pouco mais fria do que afetuosa.

Essa é a Love. Como já foi dito em um headcanon mais antigo dela, a Love é extremamente pontual e se preocupa bastante com essa questão de horário, então ela sabe como gerenciar o tempo muito bem, e ajuda o Logan a gerenciar melhor o tempo dele também, porque ai eles conseguem fazer mais coisas.

It’s her first day; we all look at her when the gym’s large doors open, our heads tilted. The New Coach.

She has tanned skin, chestnut brown hair, tall but still looks like a pigeon-toed dancer. She holds her head up, proud, as she makes her way to the middle of the gym.

All of us are slouching, afraid of giving her anything but eyes glazed. Our heads slung down, making our shoes appear more interesting than anything. 

I hear mumbling from Collen Otis and Carmen Hodek. 

“How old do you think?”

“Can’t be more than thirty, maybe? She looks like she just graduated college.”

With her back straight like a drill officer and wielding a rough gaze, her eyes scanning the staggered line, she’s judging us. She’s judging each and every one. trying to find a weak link.

Hands behind her back, the whistle dangles between her fingers. “Hello,” she says in a firm voice.

 No need to raise it, of course, she already proved to be a force to be reckoned with. 

“I’m Coach Maybank.”

Before she can even continue, she spots the JV Freshmen, Stacy Hitch, on her phone. In a flash, Coach is right there, grabbing Stacy’s phone and throwing it. The phone skitters across the floor, spinning madly before stopping right when it hits the entrance doors. 

I can see Stacy’s jaw shaking.

Coach doesn’t look angry exactly, it looks more of a look of boredom. No, It’s a dismissal.

“You girls, twirling your hair, on your phones with your sad little texts.” She shakes her head. “Ten, twelve years ago, it was still folding notes, passing them in class. This is just as fucking sad. No, this is sadder.”

After her semi introduction, she drills us. Hard. We run tumbles and keep our claps tight and our roundoffs smooth. The bleacher springs are the worst. Almost punishing. I can feel my whole body shuddering, almost like I might die from the pain of it but I don’t stop, I keep going.  

When she decides we have had enough, she lines us up again. She goes down the line, looking at all of us before stopping at Aria Jennings. 

Coach’s suddenly reaches for the spot on Aria’s stomach and plucks the baby fat. “Fix it,” Coach says, “we don’t do this.”

Aria sobs in the locker room after as she is keening over the toilet bowl. Jodes Perks and I rolled our eyes at the sight.

“She can’t say things like that, can she?” Aria stutters through tears. 

Surely Coach can’t tell a girl, a sensitive, body-conscious, barely out of her teen, girl, to get rid of a little baby fat can she?

Oh, but she can. She does. She did. Coach can say anything.

After minutes of Aria wheezing, I give her stomach one hard kick with my right foot. 

“Got no gag reflex,” I say, coldly.

Jodes nudges me, grinning. “That’s not what her boyfriend says.”

The idea of Emo Teen Jean Vicquemare lives rent-free in my head

[It comes from @slonechnik 's DE AU where Harry's still a gym teacher and Kim has to go undercover as one of Harry's new students, for an RCM case. JV's 15, so Kim's 24 and Harry's 25]

It's so fucking funny picturing Jean V. trying to talk to Undercover Cop Kim. I'm gonna strive to make JV such a cringy loser. BTW, I think emo kids are cool, but not Jean lmao.

Anyways, here's a list of JV emo teen headcanons (below the cut):

- Nicknames himself “The Dark Mare”, based on his surname Vicquemare (reference to in-game Narrator's incorrect pronunciation of his French surname)

- No one used to respect Jean or call him by his preferred ‘title’, calling him “Jelly Boy” instead. That is, until the Hex incident happened. Jean finds that any student using his actual name, ‘Jean’, is disrespectful; unless he gives them exclusive permission, then that means he really likes that person. He also loathes being called by his initials and all of Harry's nicknames for him (e.g. Mean Vicky, J.V., Emo emo emo, King Void.)

- If Jean is late for gym class, Harry will jokingly and loudly mimick an alarm that goes, "Emo emo emo" to announce the teen's arrival. Jean a.k.a The Dark Mare obviously hates this. In Harry's defense, HDB does this specific alarm thing for all the regular latecomers. Every student has their unique, mocking call.

- JV hates Harry with a burning passion, despite the man genuinely wanting to support him. JV also does everything to weasel out of group sports.

- When he was 13, he used to get bullied and shoved in lockers a lot. So he has learnt how to pick locks from the inside and outside.

- He has also stabbed his bullies with a sharpened metal fork before, to the point where he made them bleed. Thrice. Harry helped him to prevent JV from getting expelled. Jean did bite his bullies several times, and has bitten Harry before. Harry laughed it off and said, “Son, you can bite me anytime if it helps you relieve stress. You have my permission, I don’t mind”. Which appalled Jean, so he doesn’t bite Harry anymore.

- This is the Hex incident. One day, Cuno's uncle (Kubo) stole Jean's diary and tried to read it out loud to everyone, but J.V. used big words Kubo doesn’t understand, so only part of JV’s secrets got out. J.V. got mocked severely, and Kubo + his gang of idiots ripped JV’s diary into several pieces. Jean yelled that he’d curse them all.

The next day, Kubo got into a car accident, which resulted in him never being able to play football again. Someone’s parents divorced. The gang proceeded to lose at football against the girls' team three times in a row. They begged Harry to talk to J.V. so he did. After much of Harry’s pestering, J.V. reveals that his curses didn’t actually work since curses are specific and they didn’t do what Jean commanded. Jean refused to tell Harry his secrets and said he just wanted everyone to leave him alone. And so, a deal was struck, and everyone stopped being mean to Jean, but people avoided him a ton. Rumours did spread, so many students really did believe that if they upset Jean, they’d be cursed.

- Jean actually has great parents and an ideal emotional support system outside of school lmao. Loser.

- Does actually get decent grades in school. He advanced two years in education

- makes his own emo music and song lyrics. Gave up on his music dreams after studying Literature and Music in community college, when he realised that being an outsider musician won't support himself financially. At age 21, he became a cop and joined the RCM at the same time as Harry (HAHAHAAHAHA)

- Has a lil gay baby crush on Kim but would never admit it to himself. He's also terrible at hiding it. Kim is the only ‘student’ he'd allow to call him by his real name.

- Secretly loves disco music but pretends to hate it. Will subconsciously bob his head up and down to disco music slightly if it plays for long enough.

- Has two pet cats he adores and drops the emo/cool guy facade for. JV pretends and boasts to everyone that he actually wants a pet snake instead, but he's a fuxking LIAR

- Has a chronic need and desire to seem 'cool' whenever people are around(except his family)

hello you dont need to respond to this or anything I just wanted to tell you that I am a minor that ships zadr as same age chars and not everyone who ships em is proship but I am sad so many people who do ARE :( Good on you for setting your boundaries against ships though just maybe lessen the kill yourself part for ALL zadr shippers and just for the proship ones (also if you know a place where zims age has been 100% confirmed and not changed multiple times please share !! genuinely want to know ^^)

how long have you been in this fandom. like genuinely. jhonen has been saying that ZIM is DEFINETLY an adult for 20 years now. he mentions it in the dvd commentary, in interviews, on twitter, on stream. im gonna pull these ones here from this post (which was linked IN MY PINNED POST z*adrs learn how to read challenge), but there are definetely more examples. he has mentioned it in the 20th anniversary stream too.
