Quality Educational Assessments
I’m trying to flesh out some Auradon classes for my own nefarious purposes, and like, we all know that Remedial Goodness class is a joke class that’s been set up as an excuse for Fairy Godmother to lecture the VKs on morality and goodness while not actually teaching them anything.
but lmao these tests.
SELL THE CHILDREN TO THE WITCH, but NOT BEFORE YOU SCARE THEM INTO EMPTYING THEIR POCKETS FOR YOU.

Daily excerpt from today's writing, chapter 18 of Underline the Blue:
‘I’m not dressed for a restaurant,’ he said. ‘We’re not going to one, are we?’
‘We sure are,’ Janusz said. ‘Also, hardly anyone who comes here is dressed up unless they want to be. We’re in the middle of nowhere, most people who end up here have ended up here after long drives, looking for somewhere to eat. The folks in the fanciest clothes are either staying in one of the chalets or want to be dressed up. As long as we’re not wearing thongs or wifebeaters, we’ll be fine.’
Nate didn’t feel very reassured when he saw how nice the restaurant looked. It was literally built over a large lake, surrounded by tall trees on every side. The building was made of a reddish coloured wood, and it had floor to ceiling windows all around the lakeside, so the people eating could look out over the lake easily. The whole place looked sophisticated. Not like a five-star restaurant, but definitely like a place that Nate wasn’t allowed to go to.
He got out of the car slowly, and Janusz came around to his side, standing in front of him.
‘What’s going on, Nate?’
Nate picked at the collar of his black shirt. ‘I don’t think I’m…good enough to go somewhere like this.’

"I don't pretend to love you, I love you with my whole heart and then some.. my heart pumps double, triple overtime when you are talking to me. That can't just be a coincidence, it only ever does flip flops when you are near.."
How could I pretend when this love is so real? - eUë

say what you want about the show but i will never be over the luke and grogu training scenes from tbobf
there is something so deep and emotional that hits me right in the stomach every time i watch them, and i think it’s because after so long it’s these moments we get this like that feels so wholeheartedly and truly like luke
luke, who is older and more comfortable in himself as a jedi, carrying this air of ease and knowledge of the world and space that just makes me want to weep for his character because we see this luke and it’s so fulfilling. he’s finally the jedi, finally the teacher, finally the hero he always wanted to be. he did it. and that just strikes something in me. and then when we see him with grogu, he’s no longer the excitable naive boy he once was, but there is still this energy of eagerness around him- that light and hope and goodness that’s so integral to his character. the way he shows grogu his lightsaber, how he stays grogu to his back and races through the forest, crossing the river and hoisting them up into the trees to show him the feeling of the force. this energy and kindness and passion that he has in sharing all of this with grogu just fills me with a joy because yes, this is luke. he’s just grown up, but he’s still the luke we know and love
and like, even in the hotly debated scene where he tells grogu his options, there is no point in which he’s cold or detached. no point in where he’s forcing one or the other on grogu. he simply lets him know. he so easily could have not, but that’s not who luke is. and from ashoka we know that grogus love and attachment to din is clear in the force, so there’s no reason for us to think luke wouldn’t know that as well- and once grogu has made his choice, why would luke keep him from his father? that’s not who he is as a man or a jedi (but also yeah luke dropping grogu off in the x-wing with r2 will never not be hilarious and like it’s obviously cause they couldn’t afford to do more cgi luke but it’s still so fucking funny cause like yeah actually that’s super in character too like of course luke skywalker would see absolutely no issue with that)
anyways yeah, long story short seeing those scenes always makes me super emotional because seeing luke get to live the life he deserved to after the original trilogy as a happy, thoughtful, powerful and kind man is all ive ever wanted for him
