yes, I do like them as a couple, I think it is an interesting dynamic and that Tami is good for him honestly, even though they lived completely different lives and crash so many times because of it throughout the last seasons.

fact is Lip won't ever change and will keep making the same kind of mistakes and she will get fed up with it eventually. they'll go different ways, maybe keep a somewhat friendly relationship, and she will get a new partner and Lip will have a Sean kind of relationship with Fred: that kid is the most important thing in his whole life and he's constantly hunted by the fear of drinking again and hurting Fred.

it also yells like everything it says due to the speakers in its mouth. its favorite people to mess with are kai, jay and lloyd. they have the shiniest explodiest powers, and are more split-second competitive.

i kinda hope that some older zelda games get remade down the line to recontextualize and better fit the zelda timeline as a whole

like OoT especially would benefit from a proper remake-- maybe give Navi some actual personality so her getting shunted out of the Ganondorf fight actually FEELS like something

and by remake i dont mean the upscales that ALttP, OoT/MM, and TP/WW got on gameboy, 3ds, and wiiu respectively-- i mean full-ass remakes/rewrites with modern gameplay conventions. like FF7R, but for zelda

the only games i think would actually benefit from proper remakes would be OoT/MM-- OoT for lore reasons and probably better character writing, and MM for gameplay, on top of the added fact that an MM remake would give an opportunity to revive previously cut game content

One thing I don't see people talk about much in the context of anxiety is how freaking annoying it is.

Anxiety is borrowing energy from the future. There's this Thing, real or imagined, that's looming, or that could happen, so you gotta prepare and be ready, so you mobilize your energy resources toward it. "Very slow tigers are chasing me" and all that -- the tiger is somewhere out there and you gotta be Ready and not relax or else it might get you.

And I've been doing a lot to work with instead of against my anxiety, like "okay there is a Thing that's stressing me and all my energy is being mobilized worrying about that thing Now, so what can I do Now to put this energy to work? What steps can I take with all this anxious energy to get ready for that very slow tiger's arrival?"

Which is good and fine and can help dissipate the anxiety, yay, but -

But sometimes there's nothing more you can do to prep for that slow tiger. You've got everything ready and done everything you can do and the tiger is actually a cub like it's not even a threat, but you're still buzzing with energy waiting for it to show up.

Which itself is annoying because you wanna relax and you try your distractions and meditations and other tools and they help maybe but they don't necessarily change or fix the fact that the tiger is on its way, and your body and brain are demanding you Be Ready.

But far more annoying? That's a lot of energy mobilized, a lot of resources spent. So after long enough you feel spent, because you haven't hit a full state of relaxation or slept that well or truly recharged -- you're still using up that energy Staying Alert for the tiger.

And then you have no energy left for other shit! And the tiger is still on its way! And the other shit starts turning into little baby tigers because you didn't have the focus or lost the energy to direct toward it effectively.

Rinse and repeat. And it's annoying af.

It's wild to me how so many things people call out as being a telltale sign of AI art I would, without thinking, categorise either as "non-pro/intermediate artist mistake" or "feasible stylistic choice"

Like I've made some of the mistakes that people are saying "just aren't what someone would do if they actually drew/were an artist" and it kinda... hurts?

Don't get me wrong, I hate AI as much as the next guy, but the way we talk about spotting it I think can be damaging to people who are not at a professional level of making art.
