Good things: I've been invited to partake in a certain exhibit regarding a certain author since I've had the privilege of illustrating the covers for the UK edition of a certain fantasy series.

Not so good things: I've lost most of the scans for the 8 illustrations (I think I only have 3? 4?) so that means I need to figure out WHERE I stashed the originals. I know I HAVE them, so that's some comfort. But I have so many stashes. And it's been... 10+ years and two moves. On top of that, they may need retouching. Fun times!

A minor "conundrum": I finally need to decide where I would like to offer said illustrations for print. I have a society6, but it is rather dusty these days. That aside, the print quality seems pretty decent (I have not seen with my own actual eyes, but considering I've yet to hear otherwise, I'd say they go over well.) That said, if anyone has opinions/experiences on print on demand storefronts, I'd love to hear them. I'll say in advance I would prefer to not handle printing them myself. If you know, you know.

In like a month and a week (okay that’s optimistic, fine, a month and almost two weeks lol) I will fully be able to afford the laptop I've wanted for MONTHS and genuinely I feel like I'm staring at such a bright future now. Maybe I'll be able to play SSO at more than 10fps... maybe I can play Sims at higher graphics settings... maybe I can, idk, get more than those two games or even just all my Sims expansion packs because I'll have 8 times the storage space... maybe I can have large spreadsheets open without breaking my laptop... or even two medium-load programs open at the same time.... the possibilities are truly endless

At least one laptop store had BETTER fucking do like a back to school sale or something. Cmon just give me 20-25% off. It's all I ask (I don't NEED the sale I could still afford it but it has been on frequent enough 20-25% sales that I will NOT buy it full price that would just be stupid)

Taking in the golden hours on two wheels (of course.) The bikes get some aster flower crowns because ‘tis the season! (The flowers come from my garden of course.)

It won’t be long til these summer bikes are retired for the year, and then hopefully there will be plenty of snow to romp in on the winter bike.

the music for the colgera battle is quite delightful (wow i just need to say i like it. goodness) its a shame i couldnt really properly hear it while actually playing on account of having to sit right next to a loud ac but listening to it fully the other day was nice. took me a few weeks but i can appreciate it now - and listen ... im a simple guy, the rito village theme being incorporated into a section of it is just wow :-( ....... big leitmotif fan. walking into zoras domain is going to kill me

I'm kinda just a feline/ canine guy when it comes to personal furry OCs and I'm fine with that being my specific interest but sometimes I see other people's dragon OCs and go fuuuuuuck. I need me a set of dragon OCs I can toy with.

ngl something i've been lowkey worried about with this whole thing is when it comes to the Horrors the young bishops are gonna face and shift them into how they are presently

gonna try my best not to get too needlessly intense, but at the same time, as somebody who has gone through abuse, i think it's important not to gloss over details like this, especially since that's kind of the focus of this segment

i also just think with the way i tackle media, actually cracking open the bones of the story given in the game, it's gonna get uncomfortable and a bit darker since this is how i like to deal with topics in the media i make stuff for
