Necessary Context: After the dragon attack on Treviso barely being fended off, when Viago and Teia meet up again they just stare at each other vaguely mutually shellshocked for a few minutes and then have some really intense sex about it for the first time in a while. This is right after that.  

She kissed the tears from his cheeks, stroked his hair as he blindly turned his face towards her, as if searching for her in the dark. When he opened his eyes and looked at her, her heart broke all anew, all over again. You would think it would run out of new ways of doing that, eventually. It hadn’t yet. 

“Oh, mi amor,” she sighed on a soft broken laugh, cradling him closer to her with an artless helpless sort of greed, “what have you and I done to each other?” 

“Nothing I would ever let anyone take away from me,” he said, voice cracked open but steadier than she’d ever heard it.

“You see me every day, now,” he said, with that characteristic unerring instinct for pedantry. She wanted to laugh almost as much as she wanted to cry. The world was ending and Caterina was gone and everything was coming apart at the seams faster than she could stitch reality or the city itself back together towards wholeness, but Viago de Riva remained perfectly, inalienably himself. 

“I do,” she said quietly, stroking his dark wavy hair away from his forehead. “It makes it worse.”

His bare hand found hers. Their fingers interlaced, tight.

I've seen this sort of discourse a million times about so many different things and it really boils down to.

Under capitalism, copyright becomes a last ditch effort powerful tool for artists to try make any money from their craft In a system that hates them. Which then gets abused heavily by companies.

Under any other system, copyright is fucking ridiculous and shouldn't exist.

The Mighty Nein really are the “tonight we cancel the apocalypse” party, because that is the attitude of the patently insane and patently hypercompetent in ways that are too insane to be real and yet WORK. VM have Big Justice League energy. They’re saving the world by the book. They’re very much the epitome of their classes. This is not a knock. They are good at what they do, but their flair is extremely straightforward. Percy is gonna shoot fifty times a round. Keyleth is gonna archdruid her little heart out. Grog’s gonna smash. Scanlan is gonna sing a little song. That’s them! We like that for them! But it is very straightforward clock in/clock out heroism. They have day jobs now.

I’m not gonna be unfair to BH right now because I think they haven’t really figured out their niche yet and are constantly stuck in the mindset of not actually being heroes and being, and I say this out of love for their stupid little faces, selfish little turds. We might get a better idea later on when we come back to them as high level adventurers after how they shake out here, but so far they’re somewhere in the middle. A little Suicide Squad-y.

The M9 on the other hand are not clock in/clock out heroes. They’re barely heroes. They get told something could be a threat and they deal with it and they won’t just kill you, they will EMBARRASS you. They will act like you’re nothing and bet on fight outcomes mid-combat, call you names, hit you with lollipops and dicks, turn you into a fruit bat, whatever they have to. They’ll ruin your action economy, stun you, whatever. Not only did they come to stop you, you’ll be shamed so hard that your Lich won’t even want to rise again to seek vengeance because you know they’ll do it again. They’re canceling the apocalypse not because the one doing it is dead, but because they’re so demoralized there’s no gong forward. When the Mighty Nein come for your plans, your plans DO NOT survive because they’ve had dicks drawn all over them.

Prompt 2: Fate

Just another idea for the Batkid/Danny. Like imagine if Danny dated any of the batkids without knowing that they're rich rich. Not noticing /minding the simple signs that says they have huge bucks like branded clothes, cars, fancy date, gifts and all that stuff while his s/o firmly believe that Danny knows. Like who doesn't know the Wayne's! They have their faces on billboards, magazines, news and gossips, no one knows nothing about the Wayne's and that's just simple fact. Sadly Sam, Tucker and Jazz are of somewhere and so Danny loss his source of basic knowledge to social media and social cues.

So fast forward to the part where let's say Tim, introduce Danny to the family and they introduce themselves but due to nerves, Danny doesn't process their names well. They have dinner, little talks, small interviews, tiny interrogation and all that and then mid bite Danny's spoon dropped.

Danny: Fuck, you're all Wayne's...

Batkids: Ah, yeah, we told you in our introductions?

And he just create a mumble storm cause how did he not realize it? Then he goes.

Danny: This has been a wonderful experience and Tim, I'm breaking up with you.

And the Batpham was so shocked by that news that their brain screech to halt while Tim jumped up immediately and starts his 'why's' and 'what's'.

Just Danny running away from money when it's his fate. Like, Sam's family is a millionaire, Tuck's a Pharoah and has received his inheritance from his previous reincarnation, his parents are scientists with multiple patented invention, Vlad is a billionaire and has already signed him as his successor against his will, and now you tell him that his boyfriend is also rich rich?

Can't you see he's over about that? Like sure, it's a weird problem to have, worrying about having to much connections with people who shits money but he's done. He's tired. He's already rich enough and he doesn't want more. Get your dollar paw off him

Dc x Dp Prompt Idea

What if the Wayne's are looking through the #onlyingotham tag on Twitter and see a post from a Gotham citizen

Gotham Citizen: Just summoned the ghost king and got an info dump on space. He said if I know anyone who would appreciate this to show them how I summoned him as my summon has been his most comfortable one so far.

The bat starts checking the comments and sees others responding asking for the summon and then posting that the ghost king is there new favorite astronomy teacher.

One day Gotham Academy announces that their astronomy teacher has become a new rogue and that they have summoned the ghost king (Danny is in his twenties and lives off patents at this time) to teach and protect the class in exchange for the usual teacher salary (and a free monthly meal of batburger.) So a ghost now teaches at Gotham academy and the rogue are slowly but surely being taught to be very afraid of attacking him and the academy.

So basically a teacher Danny meets ghost king Danny meets Space need Danny all in one.
