I just feel an abundance of joy. I really generally just feel inside my heart is happy. I'm proud of the lap, I'm proud of the men a women within the team and I just feel happy for everybody in the team. It's been, you know, everyone struggled in the team without performance, we know we've not been performing well for a long time. I've not been able to find the confidence in this car for the past year and a bit and finding it, slowly chipping away at it, starting to feel that again and knowing that once I get that confidence this is what happens and finally today I had that. And particularly in that last run I just sent it and honestly, it's like the greatest roller coaster ride. 🥺🥰

Seeing Max immediately jumping in to defend daniel from crofty reminds me of how back then, daniel was always defending max also. When the media gave max a lot of criticism, when other drivers in the grid were kinda bitchy to Max, Daniel was always there. On Max's side. Even after he left redbull.

And now Max was like, "Don't worry daniel, I have your back now. Just like you always have mine all these time."

Or maybe no. Maybe max was just trying to be sassy to journalist. Or he just wanted to defend daniel without any particular reason. But you know, the parallelism is there. And I love them so much 🥺

LH: nah, not really (😂) yeah, of course! he's been here, so i'm not really welcoming him back. he's been in all the drivers' briefings. i've never seen anyone happier to not be driving [and still being here]. it's sort of thing where you'd pay not to have to go to another drivers' briefing when you've been to as many as i have, and daniel's just come in there of free will and he wasn't even racing. so, he'll be super up to speed. of course, as a sport, he deserves to be here. it's a shame to lose nyck 'cause i think he's one of the nicest cats we have here
