Honestly? For the most part I was just bored. As much as I love that izuku got his arms back, you can see that the only reason why hori let him lose them in the first place was to shock the readers. This is the same bullcrap he did with bakugous fake death. To let him get "killed" just to let him get resurrected in the very next chapter.

It was clear izuku would get his arms back, but at least it should have lastet a few chapters to show readers how serious the whole situation is. There are no stakes in this "war". The good guys dont die and if they get injured a "wonder" happens so they will not die or end up terrible disabled for the rest of their lives. And just like I said after the latest chapter, deux ex machina eri is the one who saves the day of course.

Again, it was clear izuku would get his arms back and that it would be eris doing. Thats not my problem. My problem is that I dont like it when an author writes shocking scenes simply just for the shock value and to trend on twitter and not because its important for the story. Thats horrible and lazy writing and just screams "I want attention!"

An other problem I have is that eri can simply just "cut her horn off" it seems. By that logic there was never a reason for chisaki to abuse eri like he did. He could have simply waited till the horn was big enough and then cut it off and I dont think chisaki was to dumb to not realize that by himself. I dont know if it means that eri is kinda quirkless from now on, but knowing hori I wouldnt bet on it and I think the horn will just grow back. I also dont like how eri calls bakugou "kacchan." We never see them interacting in the manga or that they formed a relationship. As far as I know only in the light novels in which eri is scared of him they interact. I just dont think hori should put things that happen in other medias like the light novels or movies in the manga, because it could confuse people that only have read the manga and nothing else.

About the whole kurogiri vs aizawa and mic interaction. The whole thing just startet so I guess we will see an other flashback so I cant say much about it yet. I just wished hori would stop skipping whole fights of other characters just because he likes to focus on bakugou instead by giving him TWO fights! Bakugou has enough spotlight, other characters deserve it more and not just flashback fights.

I liked though that it was mentioned that eri is learning from aizawa and thinks rational like him, so thats why she cut her horn just like he did cut his leg off. Its also cute how she mentioned that she wants to become a singer like jiro. The only other thing I liked was that afomura is starting to look more like the original afo now, because thats a thing I was wondering if it will happen. Him looking exactly like his original body and then fighting izuku would be great.

All in all the chapter was meeehhhh from what I have seen so far. Its funny because I hated the last chapter at first because the spoilers and translation were worded so bad but now I actually quite like it. For this chapter I dont feel much except maybe bored and annoyance over hori writing shock moments that dont mean anything but to shock his readers. I simply dont like it when authors do that.

Omg same though, i was all about zutara growing up! Recently, my bf saw atla for the first time, and I was watching it with him (its been years, it was so fun!)

I guess back then I was kinda using katara as a self insert?? Haha I just had the biggest crush on zuko 😭

But watching it again recently idk I found this new appreciation for kataang, and aang especially! I just think aangs so charming and cute? 🥴

Like the headband episode? I mean, come on! Gahhh that episode made a kataang stan (the near kiss, and the way they look at each other at the end of the dance 🥺). Also that last atla comic had such a cute art style, and the kataang stuff was adorable!

Yay love seeing people relate to the post I posted about becoming a Kataang shipper during my re-watch of ATLA 😘 (you can read it here if you haven’t already).

Firstly, yesss, watching ATLA is still fun after years. Ngl I think when I was younger (mostly because Netflix wasn’t really big), I watched Avatar but not thoroughly. It was more like, if the episode is on the TV, I’m going to watch it. I might have missed an episode or I’d have to wait till next week to see the next episode. This is compared to when I got older and I could do a full binge watch of the whole thing on Netflix (which I recommend 😉).

Secondly, haha I soooo relate to crushing on Zuko. Honestly, still do lol (literally have you seen what he looks like in the comics!?! I didn’t know his hair could get better than season 3 but 😍). And yeah, definitely understand using Katara as a self-insert for the Zuko love 😂. Love an enemies to lovers!!!

Aww yes, I don’t think I paid much attention to Aang when I was younger (other than him being the main character lol) because of how much I loved Zuko. But truly, every single character is so amazing that they all deserve the same amount of love and attention 🥹.

THAT DANCE!! I don’t know what’s in the air at the Fire Nation but Aang was too smooth. After watching that episode, my standards went up by 5000%. I feel like that might have been the episode on my rewatch that made me think a bit differently about Kataang. I think prior to that I was still fully on the Zxtara (going to x the ship name out again in case shippers don’t want to see this xx) train but then that episode happened and I thought this is fricking cuteeee (then of course proceeded to rewatch again).

I’m so happy they’re giving us more adult Gaang content!! So so excited for that movie 😍 and all the Kataang content to come.

Yeah, and on your final point, I do remember lots of Aang hate from some shippers (I do think there might still be some even now). Definitely not saying all Zxtara shippers hate Aang (and definitely don’t think that was what anon was implying)!!! I do think it was a small minority who were probably just trying to find an excuse to hate Aang but I have seen many Zxtara shippers who absolutely adore Aang which always makes me happy because he is a sweet sunshine who deserves all the love and appreciation ☺️.

You and Brad had been together for two years now, friends since primary school. Brad knew your dream was to be a successful author and work in a publishing firm but little did he know you had to move to Australia as you got given the biggest opportunity to work with one of the best publishers you knew of, but you had to move there for five years under a contract it was a dream come true you just didn't know how to break it to Brad, or if you even wanted to take it yet, but with only two weeks left till you leave and forty eight hours to accept the opportunity you had to tell Brad and discuss what was going to happen next.

"Hello love" He walks into your apartment as he pecks your lips "How's your day been" He smiles.

"Uhh yeah it been good, you"

"Good, you alright you seem off" We sit down as I let out a sigh.

"We need to talk" I look down at my hands.

"About" He asks as he grabs my hand in his.

"I got a job opportunity Brad"

"That's awesome love, i’m proud of you" He smiles "Why aren't you happy about it" He laughs.

"It’s in Australia, five year contract, I have forty eight hours to accept it now, but i’d leave in two weeks" I look deep into his eyes.

"Wow, thats far, do you know what you wanna do yet" He asks.

"I want to take it, its a great opportunity" I sigh.

"But" He continues my sentence.

"I don’t wanna leave you"

"You know I would come if I could but you know I cant, my life is here my family, friends, the band" He sighs "It’s great, amazing even you got this opportunity of your dreams love, I think you should take it because I know you’d regret it if you didn’t" He smiles.

"What about us" My voice breaks.

"I'm always going to be here, I’ll always love you and I’ll never forget you, but you will find someone there, and I don’t think I could be away from you for five years, I mean thats a long time love"

"No Bradley don’t, we can do visits and calls" I wipe my tears with my jumper sleeve.

"I can’t do that, but I think it’s best you take this opportunity, but I can’t leave my home, take it please I know its your dream, please love don’t let me be the reason you don’t take it" He smiles as his eyes glassed up.

"But I wont forget you, I wont find someone else, I want you, I love you, i’ll just find something here" I smile through tears.

"Listen if you don’t like it there you will always, always have a place to come back to okay, please give it a shot, I love you never forget that but it’s for the best okay" I break down in his arms as he held me close to him.

Two hours later he left after we watched a movie and had our last time together which made it worse. I stayed in my room crying after I sent an acceptance email. I wish he would try to see if it would work in a long distance but I knew even five years was a long time. What hurt the most was to know he would find someone else.

- TWO WEEKS LATER -

Before my flight I drove to Brads apartment to say good bye. The last two weeks have been the worst two weeks of my life I nearly gave up and was about to cancel it all just to get Brad back but I know he would be disappointed because he knows it’s my dream and he wants me to follow them. I waited at the door waiting for him to answer as I nearly thought he wouldn't answer the door swings open.

"Hey" He smiles "You look exhausted love" He looked deep into my eyes I knew it was hurting him.

"I came to say goodbye" A tear escapes my eyes as i tried to hold it in "I'm leaving today"

"Oh, oh wow time went fast hey, umm well good luck" He nods as his eyes glassed up "I’ll miss you, be safe for me okay, don’t let anyone hurt you, and remember you will always have a home to come back to okay" He pulls me into a hug as I broke down again, knowing it was the last time I’ll ever feel safe in someone's embrace.

"Please come with me please" I cry as I looked up at him.

"Love"

"You know what, it’s fine, it’s okay, I’ll miss you, I love you, I hope you have a great time like you deserve okay, and please be safe for me too" I smile as he roughly planted his lips on mine as a goodbye.

"I love you too" He pulls away as I walked off before I changed my mind.

I get to the airport as I waited for my flight, my luggage was already sorted and my car was already on the other plane. I thought this would be amazing and exciting but really it just hurt leaving the people I loved so much, especially Brad he made it home for me. I was going to miss he cuddles, laugh, smile, his voice, everything about him I was going to miss.

I finally got to my new apartment as I put my stuff down on the floor. It was a nice place two bedroom, the kitchen was gorgeous but it just wasn't home.

- THREE WEEKS LATER -

The apartment was finally all set up. I started working a week ago and honestly the people and team where so kind and helpful. I had messaged Brad but he hadn't answered any of my messages which hurt. The guys and his family congratulated me and kept in regular contact. I walk into my room after I finished cleaning the dishes and doing my clothes, as it was my first day off I had free time. I seen the frame I put up with me and Brad as I grabbed it and sat down in bed.

"I wish you were here, you would make it all so much more easier for me to be here, it’s so lonely without you around, I wish you'd answer your messages and not leave them on read" I cry and put the frame down and lay down and put my face into the pillow "I'm so lonely" I cry into my pillow "I just wanna go home" I thought it would get easier but really it doesn’t

Hours go by as I cried and watched TV till I heard the door. I was confused on who it could be as I didn't really know anyone yet that would come over nor did I place any orders so I wasn’t waiting for a package. I look in the mirror before I open the door so I look some what presentable. I let out a sigh as I open the door as I fall to the floor in tears as the bags drop beside him as he pulled me close to him.

"Shhh its okay love"

"You're here" I cry.

"Breathe, calm down, hey it’s okay" He held me close to his chest.

"You're here Bradley, really here, I thought you hated me and didn't want anything to do with me again I.. I.. I thought I lost you" I cry heavily.

"Shh calm down, you'd never ever lose me, I would never hate you, I want you always and forever remember that, i’m sorry I ignored your messages okay just every time I went to I couldn't because I would have asked you to come home, but here I am, so you gonna show me around our apartment, looks great from here so far, I wonder.. what does our love making room look like" he laughs as I giggle "There’s the beautiful smile I have been dying to see"

"What do you mean our" I ask.

"Well did you want me to find my own apartment or live with you" He asks.

"Your moving here"

"Yeah, well I kinda can’t live without you apparently, my family and friend's didn't really like who I was without you so they surprised me with it all and helped me pack, it should all be here soon in the next couple days, but James and Kirstie is having a baby, and Connor is busy with his band, Tristan's traveling and well I want you, I want to be with you and its only five years for now, we will do visits and calls with them all, but I can’t let you be alone either, I want to be the person you can’t wait to come home too" He smiles.

"Really" He nods.

"Yeah, i’m home baby, don’t ever think you can get rid of me so easily" He laughs.

"Welcome home my love, and I wouldn't ever dream of it" I smile.

"I've missed you" He pressed his lips to mine.

ok uhh okay. spiderverse 2 thoughts. in bullet points for the sake of my churning brain cuz im just not rly sure how i feel abt it rn. like it was a good movie? i enjoyed it it was fast paced i didnt realize 2+ hours went by which also segues into  my first thought but like. yeah i have thoughts.

first of all that was like a super weird ending decision to make it a part 1 of 2. zero warning for that. and i sat in that theater till credits bcuz i genuinely thought i was being punked and the movie was going to finish, bcuz it did not at all feel like a place to stop for the movie. it ends like right before the climax?? yes they really. extended themselves damn far for this one and it would be a lot to tie up in like another 45 minutes of movie but also like you couldve done it.. i really dont. understand. like ppl just sat in the movie theater like wait is it done. theyre ending it here? for real? like it wasnt the kind of ending you expect from this movie 

animation was obviously gorgeous and insane i dont even need to talk about what eye candy it was. the different styles all together the fight scenes ugh so good yeah yeah everyone knew it would be a trip

rly cannot stress enough what a Direction this sure was. i dont like say it as crit necessarily just like. did they over extend. maybe. they sure Extended. i would expect this maybe for a third movie not a second but they were clearly trying to blow the first one out of the water. it was just.. a lot looser. it needed to be tighter. i dont know what theyre planning for the 3rd movie but i really did not like. vibe with that ending decision

they changed peni’s design slightly and gave her a cooler mech so thats nice. maybe they listened 2 criticisms abt that

i cant decide how i feel abt a lot of the dialogue tbh it rly wasnt my thing a lot of the time like. the changing writers were kind of.. obvious. and there was a LOT of dialogue bcuz this movies purpose seems to be a very Character Driven story to prepare for the next? like theyre TRYING to say stuff thats for sure. also it was rly quippy in a way that i feel has gotten kind of tired with dialogue writing like SOME dialogue was genuinely funny and good to me like i wouldnt say it was BAD or something (some of it was bad.) it was just.. noticeably different? the tone for this movie was changed from the first which again isnt bad youre telling a different story it was just Different yeah. some things i rly thought couldve been handled like with more subtlety. 

i guess we only had one movie with the original cast but some stuff just like i personally was sitting there trying to figure out if it felt in character or not. its rly hard to explain if u havent watched it i think and maybe im just crazy i dunno. im absolutely not opposed to making ur characters fuck up and make mistakes but like. huh. i guess. i would not expect otherwise from gwen bcuz shes a teenager but i was.. surprised that peter was going along with it like ? hes a middle aged man lol he wasnt like taken advantage of or manipulated in any way. not like they were trying to say that w the like spider group anyway, like i dont think they were tryingto say gwen was necessariyl taken advantage of or anything, like they werent trying to make them read as ‘evil’ if anything just like wow these ppl sure have Problems they are going thruogh. but like still? im not invested in peters character even it just felt kind of weird. miles went fucking through it too like jesus christ im still trying to wrap my brain around all this it sure does feel like theyre putting these ppl thru comic book trauma

what i went through emotionally wheni realized they were going to do Dark Miles i dont even mean that as criticism or anything its just a bold move man. buti was sitting there like yeah of course they would. hope they make it work

i dunno i probably have more thoughts im just kind of like sitting here lol like what a weird decision. if they hadnt ended it like that i probably would have my thoughts more tied together bcuz the movie itself wasnt tied up?? so its kind of hard to even like think through everything on one watch

Lena's accidental thirst tweet

Lena Luthor has a secret. One that she intended to keep to her grave. While she does have a Twitter account which is mostly used to promote new projects at L-Corp, she has a 2nd twitter account under a completely fake name and a heavily doctored photo so no one will know its her.

That account is for posting thirst tweets and generally fangirling over Supergirl with like minded others. She does know Kara is Supergirl which is one of the reasons for the fake account. She would be absolutely mortified of Kara ever found out about Lena's feelings/extreme thirst for her.

One cancelled movie night when Kara had to help Barry in Central City, Lena was a little past tipsy and scrolling through twitter absently. She saw a pic of Supergirl lifting a car to throw at a rampaging alien from a couple of weeks ago and her breath caught in her throat at the site of those Arms™ flexing. Immediately she retweets the picture with an added caption of "the feminine urge to get absolutely railed by Supergirl". Feeling drowsy from the wine she decides to plug in her phone and go to bed for the night.

The next morning after her alarm goes off Lena stretches and slowly starts to wake up. After a shower and cup of coffee fixed she sits down at the counter intending to check emails. When she unlocks her phone she sees over 300 notifications all from twitter. Frowning she clicks on the first one only to discover in horror that over 300 people have either like or retweeted her thirst tweet about Supergirl, but on her personal account.

Panicking she quickly looks for a way to delete the post but cant seem to find it. Panicking even more she quickly posts another tweet saying "someone please tell me how to delete a tweet!". Immediately all she gets is replies of laughing emojis followed by texts fron both Nia and Alex with laughing gifs followed by a text from Nia saying "just wait till Kara sees that 😘😏"

Lena feels like shes about to hyperventilate. Pacing around the kitchen she's just about to text Sam asking how to delete the tweet when she hears boots land on her balcony. Lena's heart drops to her toes and her face pales as Kara rounds the corner strolling into the kitchen with a bright smile and an almost mischievous twinkle in her eye. 'Well at least she doesnt look mad' thinks Lena as she struggles to find words to start apologizing. Kara however doesn't even give her a chance to speak before walking quickly up to Lena. In her panicky state Lena backs away until her back hits the wall. Kara stops less than an inch in front of her noses almost touching and cups her face whispering "all you had to do was ask" and leans in stopping just before their lips touch to give Lena the opportunity to say no. Lena's brain just gives up but intstinct kicks in and she closes the distance kissing Kara like its the last thing shes ever going to do. Breaking the kiss Kara smirks then promptly picks Lena up by her legs and wraps them around her own hips then holds her in place with her hands cupping Lena's ass. Lena gasps and before she even has time to process everything Kara is carrying Lena towards the bedroom saying "time to take care of that feminine urge"

The next morning they're cuddled in bed together when Lena wakes up and smiles looking at a sleeping Kara complete with major bedhead and the tiniest bit of drool. She slowly reachss for her phone and snaps a pic of them both making sure nothing is exposed. She sends it to Alex and Nia simultaneously with the caption "got my wish and got railed". Nia replies "go girl! Get it!" Followed by Alex replying "im murdering you next time i see you". Lena smiles then decides fuck work she's going to spend as much time cuddling with a naked Kara as she can.
