i saw this post sharing designs of the infinights in GL2 and it inspired me to share my own! enjoy (i guess)

and obligatory spoilery rambling warning because character design makes me so happy

starting off strong with kyborg!

details i enjoy- his blue hairties and gold ear cuff are inspired by the ones he has in the picture on the home page of the stinky dragon wiki. im especially happy with the ear cuff because it turned out way better than i expected.

i also really like the arm (and yes i know he doesnt have the diagem in it anymore but it needed some pizazz! said pizazz made me temporarily hate myself because it used up his 4th face accessory slot but i don't even remember what other face accessory i wanted for him anymore :P)

also his boots. idk why but i like them

his hair!! i went through a bunch of styles and chose this one and i'm glad i did because this is a pretty accurate representation of how i imagine his hair, including the color! his mom was a redhead so ya boi is a strawberry blond (ish)

details i do NOT enjoy- the fact that gl2 doesnt have a hip quiver :( because i had to add the quiver to his back but that took up his second cape slot so he couldnt have his cloak of many fashions. and also even if i could give it to him w the back quiver i would still want a hip quiver because i imagine him with a hip quiver! because you can't do somersaults barrel rolls with a quiver on your back!

details i enjoy: his cloak, i spent ages on it because i was overthinking what to do with his cloak of billowing vs his cloak of the secret garden (?) but i'm very happy with what i settled on

the detail in the undercut drove me crazy because again, characters are limited to 4 cace accessory and i was using one for the runes in the undercut. which i obviously changed but that brought me so much pain and misery /lh

im so happy with how his face, especially his eyes turned out because again, i struggled with them for some time. but now his face is SO perfect. except the lack of sideburns.. maybe something with the side hairs? i keep forgetting that's an option in this game

the little daisy earring. spur of the moment addition, so glad i did it.

details i do NOT enjoy: his outfit :( for all the others i knew what i was going for but with mudd i had no clue other than the cloak. it's based off his puppet outfit because i legitimately couldn't think of what he'd wear. i like the shoes and choice of belt but between this and the sideburns mudd is definitely next in line for a redesign

ok someone who was just redesigned is gum gum!

details i enjoy: his face. that is such a gum gum face. wish i couldve added bigger tusks though. and the lil smudge of dirt on his cheek!!!

silly almost easter egg i added is that each of the colors of the rainbow is in his design at least once because dia's whole thing is rainbows and light and stuff. at first i just had it in the accessories and his whole outfit was blue pretty much but i looked at bart after completing all the accessories and i was like GODDAMMIT he has all the colors. and it's actually incorporated into the outfit AND it looks really good.

the fact that vee and i both designed his hat nearly exactly the same completely independently of each other is so epic.

i originally came up with the shoulder flower while working on mudd but i was like "oh wait gum gum's the flowers guy mudd's the animals guy." and gave it to him instead. and i'm very glad i did it fills in that space in the cloak very well.

speaking of the cloak, i very much enjoy it

things i do NOT enjoy:

honest, nothing comes to mind! maybe it's because he was the most recent to get revamped but its so wonderfully gum gum.

and last, and maybe least in stature but not in much else, bart!

things i enjoy about this design: the little thigh dagger. bart is totally the kind of man to strap a dagger to his thigh instead of just attaching the sheath to the belt like a normal person

i made him VERY visibly part dragonborn because it's honestly hilarious. because gum gum has known bart since he was a baby, he knows bart's just Like that. kyborg hadn't interacted with another person in like 30 years before he met them and mudd had probably never seen a halfling in his life, and even if he had, he wasn't just gonna have his first conversation with the guy be "i don't believe you when you say what race you are." tbh mudd's probably applies to kyborg as well. and bart assumed its just because of the different subraces of halfling. he's a stout halfling, alleve is a lightfoot halfling, no wonder she doesn't look like him!

also the hem of the pants is so fun and piratey and i love it and it's perfect.

i also gave him a crystal resembling his diagem, i haven't decided what's going on with that yet. i didn't give mudd one because no way in hell am i trying to make a ring WITH a diagem in it. how about no :3

things i do NOT enjoy: gl2 doesn't have enough curly hair options, specifically for rear hair. so bart's hair in this is not as accurate in this to my mind's eye as the others. its alright it does look good regardless

ichiro - an improvement. i like that it's very true to his og outfit and i think it looks better with just red (rather than the red + blue), plus that weird white undershirt that i always hated is gone <3

jiro - BB YOU LOOK SOOO GOOD it's a p small change but i like it, i like the hoodie more than his prev jacket and i love that they kept his stupid nonfunctional flannel <3 but most importantly the HAIR AHHHH im OBSESSED WITH PONYTAIL JIRO. the only small thing i dislike is the lack of hat </3 rip jiros hat (2017-2023) you will always be remembered

saburo - i liked his overcoat from his prev outfit so this fit is a bit of a downgrade for me :[[ he still looks good though and v true to his character so i dont mind too much

samatoki - oh thank fucking god, an outfit worthy of his hotness. ive been mourning tdd samatoki ever since i knew of him and this blue leather jacket is SUCH a good look, and we didnt even have to sacrifice his tits out shirt. it's perfect

jyuto - good!! he looks hot as he should. the red gloves were iconic and will be missed but overall i think i like his new outfit better, it's a little less stuffy looking

rio - an upgrade bc he looks somewhat more like an integrated member of society and less like a permanent navy seal. i like that he got to keep his camo but also wear some normal-ish clothes

ramuda - this seems...p much the same except the jacket changed and he has a hat now? i think its a hat? i dont like the hat. the jacket looks good and i understand why its yellow but... i miss the turquoise... the turquoise and pink was iconic... :[ overall not bad but miss the old 'fit for sure

gentaro - idk i dont look at gentaro enough to know what exactly changed but he looks fancier. i guess he looks better? idk and idrc sorry

dice - SOOOO GOOD. like took all the essence of his og design but makes him look less homeless bc what was that trench coat. he looks so stylish im obsessed

jakurai - idrc about him but i think this outfit is def an improvement bc theres a bit more flair beyond just 'i am a doctor'

hifumi - i like it! white is a good colour on him

rosho - again. i do not like this pattern. his old pattern was better. also he managed to look nerdy but still hot in his old fit now he kinda leans too much into nerdiness??? idk i just do not like it 😭

rei - i mean...it's okay but he looks so. neutralized. like he got an office job or smth. where's the dramatic fur coat and gold accessories and white pants and the red shirt and-- it's an ok outfit but as an official outfit i feel this is definitely a downgrade

kuko - i really like his new outfit, i LOVE the hoodie thing? i like how it keeps his casual yet buddhist look. his og outfit is also rly good tho and a bit more colourful so...idk, im torn on which i like better

Hello! With Louis liking another of Danielle Campbell’s insta posts and his sisters engaging with posts too, what do you think is going on there? Is it something or nothing? Or does he just like messing with us?

Hiyaaaaaaaa. Louis loves to stir, it gets us talking about him, gets us trending his name, and gets us all on Louis alert for today. And im sure they were somewhat pals, too. He’s liked other posts of hers over the years, and she’s engaged and everything, so I don’t think it’s anything to be wary of. Just weird and kinda annoying to remind us of old stunts. However…

Something I was gonna bring up after a deep dive into my blog and the chaos that was 2015, was that bbg was meant to end with DC. that’s why she was brought in. Let me show you some of the old articles and how close we were to ending bbg, before it all dropped for some reason. The drama was real.

This was one of the articles that came out that started to seed a disconnect between louis and bbg, and that was the whole reason for DC. she was brought in to end it all. It was gonna end in a spat between louis and B, and even though it was gonna be negative press for Louis, there could have been a back and forth solution to it. But this article paints B as a bit of a gold digger, and Louis could’ve shot back saying he’s done so much for his son, and then they could’ve settled it in court and it could’ve been like “oh we still good friends but she’s taking custody and I’ll still see F when I can” and then that would’ve been the end of that.

Anyway…

This was a very interesting one that I had forgotten about. It says down the bottom that Louis had ordered a DNA test after the birth of his son, but it didn’t actually specify whether it was positive or negative. It was open ended to encourage a negative DNA test result to end bbg. I totally forgot about this, damn… but yeah. That’s definitely the way they were going.

This one also has a DNA test mention, but again, no confirmation. It’s just said that “Louis has no doubt that F is his son”, but then… why order the test lol. Again, more seeding.

And this one is another custody battle.

So… all of these were in preparation to ending bbg. Open ended DNA tests, custody battles, B looking like a gold digger… Louis was gonna come out of it alright. DC was there to end it. But… for whatever reason.. it was prolonged again. We were so much closer than I remember, now looking back at it with fresh eyes, and DC won’t be stunting with Louis again (she’s engaged). But hopefully they can open up this can of worms once more. But it does look a bit dodgy 8 years later. Idk. Sorry this turned into a bbg post, but that’s why she was hired.

Isn’t it weird that this drama went on and it wasn’t really resolved? All this crazy press about it and then it kinda just… got dropped? Not even a “we settled outside of court” or “everything is fine” article. But… Louis’ mum was very sick and then passed, so I guess they left it alone while he was dealing with that and it didn’t come to an end like it should have. Then a couple years later he gets publicity as an X Factor host. Idk man. I think it was set to end but circumstances changed drastically and Louis needed privacy during that time.

Hii sorry it's been quite a bit, side order came out and I was getting 999 on the salmon run gold rotation so I was distracted by splatoon this weekend lol. Anyways, new developments for the vanny glitch!

So last time I played I realized the game counts the stage in Rockstar Row as a raised platform that stalls enemies, if you remember its what causes the Vannies to stop in place. So first I messed around with that area with Vanessa only to make sure it worked. And she, uh.. she works pretty interestingly I realized.

She'll just play this weird flashlight throwing/aggressively pointing animation and stare you dead in the eyes. Vanessa please im autistic only freddy can look at me like that /hj

It made for some pretty funny moments where it looked like she was beating the shit out of roxy with the flashlight LMAO. Idk why the screenshots are so blurry though sorry about that.

I died more times than I want to admit today but it led to some interesting developments. Apparently that flashlight animation is supposed to be her calling over an animatronic to your location. Apparently, she can also make them teleport, like staff bots do.. I found this out the hard way after she made roxy teleport through a wall to kill me. Should've just hopped in Freddy..

This time it took her like 5 minutes to do that "never to be seen again" run into the void. (I really wish I could follow her without dying.. idk if Freddy's speed is enough to escape Vanny..) my theory is that she's running out of bounds so she can de-spawn since the game probably doesn't want those two in the same room like this. Though it's odd her ai is programmed for a scenario that never happens normally in-game.

But I did get the screenshots >:D they're not in the best position I'll admit but at least it's not as blurry as the last screenshot. Thing is, there's only 1 Vanny this time.. I think I'm getting closer to figuring out how this glitch works.

I loaded in from a save file that already had the security badges and went back in bounds, did the freddy repair, watched Vanessa talk for 5 minutes per death.. you know the drill. But this time it only spawned in 1 Vanny.

I think it has something to do with the atrium loading. I can do the spawn twice, once by walking towards the save near fazerblast and the escalator next to it, and another time by walking up the escalator and going back down a different escalator. I'm unsure if you can spawn them 3 times or only 2, though the circumstances of this are very precise so there's a chance I did something differently from my initial discovery of the glitch.

A bit of a tldr here, my current theory is that each time you load and deload the atrium without respawning Vanny, the game counts it as 1 missing Vanny to add to the count next time you pass the spawn trigger.. so I think initially I went back and forth enough that the game counted it as 4 deloads, that one time it only counted as 3, i probably didn't run around back and forth as much. I'll have to test it to confirm but this theory makes the most sense to me. The fact that performing the glitch from a fresh save file (well, as fresh as you can get.) Results in 1 Vanny spawn means something you do in the atrium triggers that counter to go up. I'm unsure if 4 is the max count or if that's just coincidentally the number I hit. I want to test it out more for sure but for now that's my best guess, though I can't confirm it yet.

I feel like a mad scientist trying to figure out how this glitch works lmao. It's been a very fun experience.

What if in the canon universe, we gave Val the Saera treatment but with a few tweaks? She isnt related to Daemyra at all and is just a valyrian bastard from Essos? We can pretend she is the daughter of one of Saera's many sons. She has inherited the valyrian looks though. Now what if Val having grown up in Lys had been taken as an.. apprentice (?), a ward (?) at one of the pillowhouses there? Maybe even Saera's (although i think she moved to volantis later in life?)

She works the work. She is the best. Men and Women travel from across the continent just to spend a night with her. They sell their fleets, they offer their jewels and gold. Forgotten weapons made from valyrian steel are given to her just so she'll spare them a glance. Not only does she have the blood of old valyria - being a targaryen bastard- but also she is distantly related to the Targs ruling over Westeros. She is a big deal. Now, after a while she gets bored there. Everyone is eating off the palm of her hands, she was them wrapped around her fingers. It's the same song over and over again. So she decides to pack up a few things and make her way west, just to see what that strange place is like, where everyone is so uptight and where her family of old rule.

She eventually makes her way to King's Landing. She decides to visit one of the brothels there and act like a complete novice at first. (maybe though she tells them who she is so that they will hire her?)

She meets Aegon though she keeps her distance. She doesn't really want to Know these people. It's like sight seeing for her. So she uses what sway she has to ensure Aegon is kept away from her.

One night Aemond shows up to pick up aegon as one does. She sees him and she's fucked. While aemond is waiting she approaches him, starts nonchalantly singing in valyrian, wanting him to notice her but without looking too desperate. And he does.

just saw your tags on the charles pr post and you are so right, george so needs a more competent pr team but i def think there has been a recent change. like the hair (literally might have given him sponserships) and the memes might have genuinely shifted something within the public perception of george, esp since it seems much more natural compared the so called "pr persona" people hated in 2022. all he absolutely needs right now is a good racing season with minimal contact with other cars (this is key i will not lie) and the ingredients are there to work with. like deadass if that happens there is chance to regain his williams era adoration (im not even being delulu bc uni has taught me that rebranding is incredibly effective if done well). tho imo i have no idea how competent mercedes are to utilise and strategise tho (they make too much of a mess every given chance). he needs someone else to correctly handle this.

I know there's been loads said about George's PR strategy going back years. I've always found it interesting because Charles is very 'pr', Lando, Lewis, Carlos... the list is endless, and yet its only ever really been George who seems to have really had their 'pr friendly' vibe viewed in such an overwhelmingly derogatory way. I've never really been able to put my finger on what it is, but that post does highlight how the slightest difference can make the tone change.

I don't think the hair is that powerful, although I think it's kind of... 'softened' his face slightly, given him more of a 'cute' vibe in a kind of foppish disney prince charming way? Then again I think people have always thought George was attractive they've just moved their attention from his body to his face?

I don't think things will ever go back to the days at Williams when everyone loved him. That was in part due to the underdog element and he was a lot more under the radar back then. I don't think he was hated in 2022, it's only really in 2023 that I've seen so much negativity thrown in his direction. We've tried to pick apart what exactly it is that causes people to hate him and honestly, I don't think we'll ever find an answer. It just... is what it is.

I think he could definitely stand to be more relatable though, but then again how relatable can you be when you're a millionaire racing driver? I think he sometimes looks too 'perfect' and I know that's something everyone falls into on sm, but sometimes I just kind of want to see him looking... dumb? He laughs at himself, he embraces the memes, but sometimes his pictures don't embrace his personality if that makes sense and that's a shame.

The Charles post pointed out about the photos of him falling over and if you think about Alex, Lando, even Lewis, they all post stuff that purposely doesn't show them at their best (whilst simultaneously being picture perfect) and I guess that's the reason that social media isn't easy, because you've got to strike that balance between aesthetic and humanity to really strike gold.

icl i wanted to answer this as karl but i remembered some funny stories so yh

my great grandmother, so my mothers grandmother was a great woman. i mean she slayed, im talking 1920s housewife who lives on the border of the slums dealing with every bullshit possible this was before the partition of india pakistan. she dealt with insane amounts of racism, she lived through the partition, then the independence war from bangladesh because we live sea side ish. she lost one husband left with my grandfather, she married again and fought against every attempt of ostracisation her community threw at her, then she got married again. a love marriage too. and she live she really did to the best of her abilities both her sons studied till class 12, one even attempted college. she got mad at people, once she dragged a woman by her hair in our lawn and beat her with a sandal, other times she was so happy when we finally got a movie thing ( im not quite sure if it was a projector) in the community that she bought everyone a saree told their husbands to fuck off and do the house work because she wanted to watch a movie with her friends. she made homemade facials, and took meticulous care of her hair oiling it every day, she taught my grandmother and my mother all her favourite recipes. she refused to go a day without wearing gold because it was a bad sign , whether it be a thin necklace or heavy 9 carat earrings that covered her entire ears.

original: 8/10 the solid classic. simple and incredibly well executed imo. i appriciate the skeletal elements of his face and back, plus the emphasis on how sharp he is. literally every edge of him is sharp and dangerous and thinking about that with his backstory makes me feel insane. even if aatrox’s lore change came first rhaast was the origin of the new darkin and it gets SO much credit for that alone. i wish they’d kept that glowing gaping maw in his chest, that ruled

THIS RULES. it only loses points because idk the like...Avian feet creep me out. also idk im mixed on the fact he’s showing skin that looks so human qoute unqoute

oydssey/dark star: 7/10 okay i really appriciate what they did with this skin and i love his stupid fishbowl head and like gold decals not really being a face. i also love the textured chest and the gradiant its just that... im not a dark star girl. dark star is a fine skin line, like i enjoy the concept, but idk compared to how GOOD base kayn looks in this skin and the other human characters of the morning star rhaast is just Alright

dawnbringer: 6/10 im being stingy by marking it so low i’m just... i’m furious at the wasted potential of the skin. the trailer promised a more human-esque rhaast to compliment a more demonic kayn and then didn’t deliver... and i do understand thats a model issue rather than a SKIN but it just soured it for me. i also think this skin was just kind of boring, and it didnt feel like either of them? i will give riot props for establishing rhaast is a dawnbringer though, that made me feel so warm u would not believe

100/10 legends of runterra: i’m not even that ashamed to say it. the first time i saw this? outloud moaned. i have a witness, they want to divorce me over it, i’m fine with that because with this i don’t NEED anyone else - this is everything i could ever want. this isn’t a critisism really but my only complaint is it took away elements from the original base design, such as smoothing out the sharp edges and removing some of the bestial traits by pointing it more towards...living armor? but i actually enjoy both of those things equally as much as a seperate concept, and if this WAS his base design i wouldn’t be saying make him sharper so it still gets the highest score. this is a rhaast that could hold me in his arms and isnt that what ive always wanted?

but bestie is immune to the fungus, and is then brought into firefly custody, to be shipped to a lab across the country that they’ll be able to use her to help form a cure. enter joel

joel gets fucking thrown into being the delivery person for ellie, and highjinks ensue. aka, you have one hell of an emotional development of found family !!! it’s beautiful, it’s great, ellie and joel would both fucking die or kill for each other and they have on multiple occasions. 

a lot of it comes down to the fact that joel with kill to get back to ellie, and ellie will kill to protect herself to find him again. 

i could really sit here and give so many details about the two of them, about how ellie goes from being just cargo to being baby girl, but i really do not want to give it away. it’s just 9 episodes i will give you my hbo login pls go watch it
