Seb looks down at his lap, Lewis's face lighting up the screen, a little smile grows grows on his face, hes glad hes sitting on one of the coutches in the back of the little community room at the center 'hello' the soft greating that comes from the small speakers in the phone is laced with the familiar accent. Seb can almost see Lewis's face as he says the words 'so how's ROC? I saw Mick did well'

'do you did watch' Seb picks a little at his pants, he borrowed Mick's he has no idea where his went last night 'ofcourse I watched' Seb breathes in a little he hopes Lewis doesnt hear it 'good, yeah it was fun, Mick did amazing' Seb looks up a little. at the coutch on the other side of the room Mick is sitting with a big grin, Oli on the ground between his legs laughing about something Mika said, Mattias and Val on both sides of Mick. Val is looking at Seb eyes just as piercing and knowing as ever, Seb raises an eyebrow 'that country corss dirt racing apperantly did some good' he heard some trough, some destain lacing Lewis's voice Seb laughs, Val looks away with a small smile.

'I truly dont understand it man, why would he wilingly get dirty like that and then for 12 hours straight' and Seb leans farther into the couch and listens to the 2 hour rant he already heard a million times before.

my most recent book crush has been ehem... jesper. and wylan.

this would probably take place after ck, but with Mattias still with us. mostly because i want nina.

anyways, the reader/oc is a street/ring fighter. like, this is the barrel, ok. there has to be this kind of stuff.

anyways, kaz needs her for smthn, a mission or whatever. and jesper dont like her for some reason (enemies to loverssss or friendsss if wylan is the only love interest, but i feel this is more jesper or wesper coded than wylan) anyways, she meets the team, stuff happens, they go see her fights, yada yada, she scary.

then like, something happens. maybe her employer (though it would probably be more like inej's situation with an indenture or smthn but fight-y, but idk what that's called) doesn't like whenthey forfeight a match or whatever and is all "fight to the death or win" kinda guy. she forfeights, all beat up whatever, then more beat up by boss guy. or she protects a younger fighter. or a healer. or something.

anyways, something happens, then kaz needs her to come talk to him about the mission or something and sends love interest(s) (jesper, wylan, or wesper) so get her. then we have a soft/angst "let me help you" and "who did this to you."

yeah. that's when jesper and her start to get along and then BOOM story goes on but i have no more ideas.

also, being pinned to a wall. like, enemies to lovers, hello. specifically with a gun to her head or a knife to her neck. like, why is that so hot? but you can't have enemies to lovers without it, i stand by that.

saw a review for six of crows on TikTok from someone who didn't like it. I feel like that's pretty rare so I was curious and took a look. on the first slide, the person said, "Off the bat, I'm just not a big fan of the found family trope" and in that moment I just understood we were fundamentally different people LMFAO

anyway there was some valid critiques about Nina/mattias and rushed wesper and Inej being rescued from the menagerie but I can't get over just that first part bc maybe I've just been on Tumblr for too long but I dont know if ive EVER met anyone who's said that and it made me laugh
