1. Both fics and art! I actually post both on Ao3, and now that I have a Tumblr account, I'll probably be doing the same here. :)

2. Writing stories that make me happy. Better yet, writing stories that make other people happy. I love comments.

3. I've always loved storytelling. I'm working my way towards being an author, and writing in somebody else's universe is good practice. Also, it's incredibly fun.

4. Star Wars Original Trilogy. Back when I was a murderous little eighth grader, I wrote a very depressing story about two kids living on Alderaan the day it blows up. I didn't even know what fan fiction was and wholeheartedly believed that if I mailed the story to Lucasfilm, they would love it and declare it canon.

5. Many various Star Wars subfandoms, like tcw, swr, and tbb. There's other fandoms I want to write for, but I haven’t gotten to it yet.

6. I have a tcw/Kenobi series/early rebellion era WIP of four years and counting. Thanks to @kybercrystals94 , I've started writing tbb fics too, and it looks like I'll be heavily involved with the sobb prompt challenge.

7./8. My ego, and...also my ego? I'm a major perfectionist, which both makes me insufferable to everyone including myself and ensures that I'm always striving to improve.

9. Found family, preferably unhinged. (I'm a simple woman with simple wants.) Also, transformation fics--body swaps, de-aging fics, animal shape-shifting fics--they have a wonderful potential for crack, fluff, and angst all at once.

10. Uggggh...romance? I don't read a lot of slash, but I enjoy a bit of fluff once in a while. But I don't think I could write it very well.

11. Always music while drawing! Music while writing is usually a no. I've got some sensory issues that make forming coherent sentences while there is background noise very hard. Even instrumental music can derail my train of thought.

12. Water. I always have a bottle on my desk. Doesn't mean I'll remember to drink it though. XD

13. Sometimes nothing, sometimes everything but the kitchen sink. I once went almost seven hours without food while writing.

14. Night, unfortunately. It's the only time the world is quiet enough for me to focus. Which doesn’t exactly work with the very diurnal school system.

15. Mid-afternoon. I get tired and scatterbrained after lunch.

16. Writing. Or pencil sketches.

17. Favorite authors and graphic novelists, like JRR Tolkien and Mike Maihack. Also, fellow fan creators like Kyber and my beta, Annie.

18. Walking/running around my town for brainstorming time.

19. My bedroom.

This is only if you could use ideas rn but you know how Gigi from Dandy's World is based on those gacha capsules? I think she probably tries to add chance to random stuff for fun like baking. So I thought it’d be cool if Gigi baked like a cake or pie with an enigma candy and excitedly watches it bake while cosmo and/or sprout watches concerningly

Okay first of all, process, as always:

I drew this in one day hahaha....Actually really fun! I haven't finished anything in almost a month, and haven't painted for even longer, so I'm kinda dying at the fact that 18th century George Russell got me motivated 😭 Sometimes when painting, I realize I have free will and can actually just start painting over the lineart, and that's the best moment of every drawing process 🙏

Also I'm very proud of his face!!! I've said before, but art progression is such a weird thing. You'll keep repeating to your self "I'm no good at [insert art thing.]" And then randomly realized you can in fact do it. That's me with drawing real people's faces 😭 I'm just so shocked I got his face pretty good in one try!!!

Okay about the pose and quote. God its so fun to misappropriate quotes for my own evil deeds. Both of these are from this one officer from the Revolution: Banastre Tarleton. Idk, I randomly saw his painting in a history video, and it's stuck in my mind ever since. And then yesterday, bcs I spent a lot of time looking at George, I'm like "hey you know what he kinda reminds me of-" and thus we have this.

I just found that quote about him from some historian to be funny, so I put it as a caption, as I would with Napoleon. This won't be an AU by any means but. I think if George was in the Revolution, he'd be the most stereotypical, evil British villain in American media type guy ever. And Tarleton is kinda that guy tbh, to the point where him and others like Arnold Benedict are the poster boys of evil Revolution guys. He even has a mocking nickname! "Bloody Tarleton/Ban", very "Osama bin Russell," no? 😭

Some notable moments from Tarleton's campaign that I think fit George: Apparently killed a bunch of American soldiers after they surrendered, making sure everyone was dead(😭😭), threatened to burn an American general's house down to make him surrender and then took him hostage, went toe to toe with George Washington himself and Washington even taunted him and Tarleton got a shot in, has a helmet named after him(very slayful.)
