hey!! i was wondering if you can do some headcanons for a reader who has a massive plushie collection with barou, rin, aryu, hiori, and niko(underrated king i need more content about him). they wouldn’t even guess that reader would be the type of person to collect that sort of stuff until they see that literally every corner of their room is filled with plushies (literally my dream). they can also tell that it must’ve cost a lotttt of money to gather that much. maybe they even recognize some of their favorite characters in the collection

can be platonic or romantic connections with the characters. i don’t mind either way! feel free to remove any character if it’s too much. thank youuuu <33

The first time Barou walks into your room, he's shocked at the sight of your plushies. Not because he thinks you're weird for collecting them (okay, maybe a little) but because he hates how unorganized they are. Why are some of them all over the floor? Why do they take up an unnecessarily big amount of space on your bed? Before he even says anything, Barou starts tidying up your plushy collection. He's sorting them by franchises and colours and also putting them in places where they look the best. Barou wants you to keep them this neatly because he thinks if they mean so much to you, you should treat your plushies with care like this.

Rin doesn't understand why you have so many plushies. And even less does he understand why you would spend so much money on them. He tries to not say anything judgy, but the look on his face while he observes your room says everything. And the longer Rin stays in your room, the more uncomfortable he gets. He feels watched by the many eyes of your plushies which creeps him out a little. This guy loves horror movies but gets creeped out by cute plushies? Apparently, yes. But you get to have fun teasing him about that. Although, over time he slowly gets used to your plushies. And after a few more weeks, he actually starts liking them.

Aryu absolutely adores every single one of your plushies ever since the first moment he got to see them. He buys a lot of clothes which are actually meant for baby dolls, but dresses your plushies in them instead. Each time he visits you, he's having the time of his life dressing up all the plushies together with you and taking photos of them. For some plushies, he doesn't find any fitting clothing, so Aryu starts sewing some on his own. They may be plushies, but he knows you love them, so they deserve to be stylish. They absolutely need to be stylish.

Seeing your plushies for the first time caught Hiori completely off guard. He didn't expect your room to look like that at all, but he quickly starts loving them. He's not vocal about it, but it's obvious how much he adores every single one of your plushies. His attention constantly drifts off and instead of looking at you, his gaze wanders to the shelf full of plushies right behind you. He hasn't thought about plushies in a very long time, but now he kind of wants to have one for himself. Luckily, before he leaves your place, you put a cute little blue bunny plush into his hands.

Niko doesn't seem to mind your plushies at first. He doesn't think anything of them and mostly ignores the fact that they are even there. But then he spots some plushies of anime characters on your desk. He knows most of the characters, but not all of them. So he obviously gets curious and starts asking questions about which animes they're from. Niko already owns a bunch of anime merch, but for some reason, he hasn't thought about buying plushies of his favourite characters until now when he got the idea because of you. He's already thinking about which ones he wants to get, but he'll probably need your help to decide. Of course your answer will be to buy all of them.

Raichi's first reaction to your plushies should have been predictable. But you're still startled for a moment when he walks over to one of the big plushies and punches it without hesitation. After asking why he did that, Raichi only laughs and says he thinks it's funny. Then he continues doing the same to other plushies, thinking you find it funny as well. Only when he looks back at you he realizes you don't think it's funny at all and you're getting upset instead. Raichi feels embarrassed and quickly apologizes, but he doesn't feel like that's enough, so he goes on and apologizes to every plushie he punched as well.

Tokimitsu treats your plushies extremely gently with a lot of care, almost as if they were real living beings. Every time he touches them he does it very carefully and whenever he pushes one to the side only by a little bit, he apologizes to the plushie. Tokimitsu knows how much every single plushie means to you. That's why he wants to treat them with as much care as he can, because that's how he knows you treat him. And of course, he treats you like that as well. It's always cute to watch whenever he interacts with your plushies and how he talks to them with genuine care.

yes i am a huge huge huge spinoza fan, he's definitely my favourite of the early modern philosophers it's not even a contest. for one, i find the notion of substance monism incredibly compelling, just on a personal level it really speaks to me, but i also think his method of argumentation is a serious breath of fresh air in a lot of ways

if you had sent me this ask this time last year, i would have (sobbed from exam stress lmaoooo) had quite a bit more to say without any prompting i probably could have written you an essay on the spot lol - but i haven't thought much about or read much spinoza these last few months rip

i'm also generally quite into philosophy - lots of russell and ayer (not nearly enough wittgenstein lol), lots of plato and a lotttt of political philosophy just generally

1.) What’s your favourite sims death? When you have a pool on your sim’s property no matter the season they go to lounge there and freeze to death because of their own stupidity. 😭

2.) Alpha CC or Maxis Match? I’m a alpha girl, but I really like both styles! IDK when you get down to it, they both reflect a ‘art style’ to me. Like have you tried to make a MM sim alpha or a alpha sim MM? There’s work involved in that to make it look right!

3.) Do you cheat when your sims gain weight? Honestly it depends lmao I make my sims high on the weight scale, even the skinny sims, so their bodies look natural. There’s been times where I’ve had to slightly tweak their hips or stomach width so a cc top doesn’t look strange and bulky. 😑😑 But when I play the game everyone is bound to gain weight and I don’t take certain characters to the gym as much as I should. 😂😂

4.) Do you use move objects?  Uh yeah.

5.) Favorite mod?  Before High School Days was a thing, I really loved the plumfruit mod by Arnie. 😍 There was also a hair styling mod I downloaded that’s pretty fun and effective for doing quick townie makeovers. Beyond that as a storyteller I owe my life to MC Command Center and TOOL annnd wickedwhims for more intimate scenes.  

6.) First expansion/game/stuff pack you got? I literally don’t remember, but it was probably city living because I had the first version of Sal and Eve living in San Myshuno.

But even with that said it took me like, two days to get Pietro’s face and nose right. I hunted for certain facial details for him!! So I’m proud of him right now.  9.) Have you made a simself? HEYYYYY I THINK I TOLD YOU RECENTLY ABOUT HOW IM GOING TO THE MUSEUM WITH A FRIEND THAT I HAVE FEELINGS FOR AND I DIDNT KNOW IF IT WAS JUST AN OUTING OR A DATE. I STILL DONT KNOW BUT WE WENT OUT TODAY!!! I arrived there a bit early which is good for me because it gives me time to panic beforehand and I also realised the Christmas markets were right next to the museum. The museum was quite nice but not particularly interesting but I was talking a lotttt. I tend to be quite quiet actually but when I’m alone with them I’m constantly talking so I hope they are okay with that. My mercury is in their first house tho and my mercury has conjunctions and trines with lots of their placements. Their sun also conjuncts my moon which is cute. We got matching animal thingys at the museum gift shop. But afterwards, we go to the Christmas markets and it was raining a lot so we both had our big coats on and was sharing an umbrella. Ik that isn’t particularly significant but I liked that I got to be closer to them for a bit under the umbrella. But the umbrella kept breaking and going the wrong way because it was also extremely windy. I think it’s really cute when there’s games at an arcade or fair and one person wins a toy/plushie for the other so I kinda hinted at doing that but they didn’t win :/. I chose to do hook a duck so it was quite easy for me and so I got a hedgehog but I didn’t give it to them. It can be our child tho that I look after. We played darts but I failed miserably and they did alright but didn’t get enough points for a toy jellyfish. Then we searched for churros and were walking around everywhere and it was one of the last stalls where we got them. We were planning on surprising our friend who works in a shop but idk if we came at the right time or not. We waited there and started looking very silly just standing there and so we gave up. We went to different shops and looked around but didn’t buy much stuff. I did buy presents though for the person I have for secret Santa. After shopping we went back to the bus stop and hugging before they got on the bus. As there were a lot of people getting on the bus, it stayed there for ages so they waved a few times whilst i was waiting for my bus. I enjoyed it and they seemed too as well. Later on though some of us were talking on a gc about celebrity crushes. The person I like is the type to just read the stuff on the gc but not say anything really unless directly spoken to and so they were reading all of what we were saying. I put some pictures of Hyde of L’Arc en Ciel on there and pointed out how I loved his hair in one of the pictures. Another friend pointed out of the pictures and said “DAMN ITS GIVING SOMEONE” and it made me realise how he low-key looks like my friend I like in the picture especially with his hairstyle and yeah. I still don’t really know if it was a date or not (pretty sure it was just an outing but I’d like to be believe it was a date) but going to the museum and Christmas market as some of my favourite date ideas so yeah.

Im so happy you had a wonderful time. And it sounds like you had a really great time and I think either a date or just an outing at least you got to hang out with someone you like and go to know them better. I hope you get to spend more time with them and if not have a relationship at least build a really strong friendship.

(my jackalope): Finch is a dramatic ass tomboy femme punk bitch she wants to listen to those tunes that make you amped and ready to fight, she for sure shares like my heavy experimental tastes and listens to a lot of Hip Hop, Breakcore, experimental, noise, punk, riot grrl, etc she going wild. Fave food is fucked up but dude she loves a tasty fucking fried chicken drumstick man its simple but it goes hard. fave drink: chocolate milk (its cool and tough fucking fight mee)

Vincent: He is a cringe little gamer gremlin he trophy husband as hell stay home and games on his overpriced rig and setup, but also he is quite literally a phenomenal painter, artist, and writer. Vincent has a lot of feelings in his heart and he arts them out or he'll die. He is a lil poppunk/hyperpop/MCR boy like thats his JAM. fave drink is literally Monster Pipeline Punch

Jersey (this my brother/dad/found family he means a lot to me): Jersey is literally resident goodboy handyman he woodworks, gardens, fixes just about anything, he also loves bbq and thus has a smoke setup and does that for his calming pasttime he cooks a ton in general too and loves nature and foraging. he literally is the most reliable person on the planet and will always be there for u anytime u need. He is a foodie he loves capital F Food all of it he just goes in on food. his fave drink is coke and he literally has tons of old antique coke signs and boxes and shit all over he just thinks its neat he is just a dude.

poetry - honestly i'm not really sure what i'm doing with my life (well is anyone really?) but i'm thinking something psychology related as that's what i want to study at uni. idk, maybe i'll end up being a therapist or something haha. and i'm not very far along the journey as i'm still right in the middle of my gcses (save me), but i know i'm taking psychology for a level at least.

arcane - i have a tendency to project onto characters in media haha. i've been watching a tv series called the good doctor about a doctor with autism and i really like it so far. it's not a perfect portrayal of autism (because not everyone with autism has the same experience) but it's nice to see a character i can relate to on tv (as i also have autism :) ). it's a lot better representation than a lot of other autistically coded characters on tv (sheldon cooper - why did they have to make him so misogynistic?? -_-)

also charlie spring. he reminds me of both myself and a couple of my friends (they need hugs)

candlelight - i'm not sure if i could choose a favourite book honestly - i go though a lot of phases of being obsessed with different book series. i used to read a lotttt as a child, but then i got a phone and my attention span vanished :(, and i don't have time to read much anymore because i procrastinate hw.

i love percy jackson and all of rick riordan's books because of the lgbt representation - they helped me figure a few things out about myself :). also mythology is cool. i plan to reread all the series after exams when i have the time. my school is doing percy jackson the musical next year as a school production and i'll probably end up doing technical theatre for it :D.

i also had a massive his dark materials faze when i was younger. it lowkey became a personality trait. we got to study it in school though which was pretty cool.

aster isn’t always the best at eating her 5 a day, but she loves tropical fruits like mango and pineapple — they work great in savoury meals as well as desserts or on their own!!

if you asked her to her face, she’d laugh and say who cares about stuff like that!! tho really that’s just bc she genuinely hadn’t thought of that kind of scenario before. after thinking on it a bit, maybe an hour afterwards, it doesn’t sound that bad….. maybe she would like to try it out……

that being said if she was with someone else who wanted to try kissing atop a ferris wheel she would be like “okay let’s do it.” no shame. she just wants an excuse to kiss whoever she’s dating haha

🌌 - what was the inspiration behind your oc? what was the first thing you decided about them?

ngl aster came from me being like “okay what if i was in the pokemon world and also way more talented/cooler” — blatant self insert/wish fulfilment stuff haha :)) she’s changed a lotttt over the years bc i kind of remade her each time a new pokemon game came out 😅 the first thing i decided about her originally was that instead of focussing on battles she’d actually be both a figure skater and ballroom dancer, and her team would take part in her routines she is neither of these things anymore

📸 - do they enjoy having their picture taken? what’s their go-to pose? do they like taking photos? what do they take photos of?

she used to hate having her photo taken, the gym challenge was fun and all but she was a very shy kid and did not like that her matches were televised/people rooting for her started to want photos w her. these days she’s still pretty “no cameras please” if random people approach her but she’s good w being photographed with friends :)) she doesn’t really know how to pose so usually goes for something silly on purpose or assumes people will just take candids that are somewhat flattering.

as far as her own photography skills go tho, aster is….. a very lazy photographer. like just lets her rotom phone take the photos for her lazy. she doesn’t really feel the need to take photos in the first place unless she thinks it’s important, but does enjoy going through her camera roll when her rotom phone has gone on a snapping spree to see what it captured

👖 - what is their go-to outfit?

aster likes trying different styles out, but her main wardrobe staples are mini skirts, boots, and an interesting top/sweater :)) she’s the kind of person who, 9 times out of 10, would pick a dress over jeans most days.

☁️ - a soft headcanon

muffin, her perrserker, is one of her best friends. after she caught him as a meowth and he warmed up to her, she’d carry him everywhere. once he evolved and got too heavy for her to pick up, she’d hold onto one of his paws and they’d be inseparable. they still are, really. he still curls up next to her every night :)) if aster feels nervous or stressed at any given time she’ll start holding his paw again. muffin, meanwhile, is ready to throw hands at who/whatever decided to upset his bestie

💘 - what traits do they look for in a relationship? do they believe in love at first sight?

she doesn’t look for relationships they just happen to her. jk jk but for real, she’s not really a super romantic person, but is open minded about the possibility of romance, so while she isn’t against against the concept of love at first sight she’s kind of sceptical about it happening to her, specifically. as for traits she looks for in a relationship…. patience is a big one — she’s pretty impatient herself, and knows having someone to balance that out and reign her in on occasion would be ideal for her. there’s also a need for the other person to be able to keep up with her, whether that’s on an intellectual level, in regards to battling, or physically ;)), it doesn’t matter, as long as she feels like there’s something stimulating about spending time with the other person. if they can make her laugh and get along w her pokemon, even better!!

Hello hello! Can I get a male genshin matchup if possible?

My nickname is Zay and my pronouns are she/her. So I’m overall a pretty outgoing person. I love to talk to my friends and family and can talk about pretty much anything with people I’m comfortable with, though I can be pretty awkward when I first meet new people. I have a tendency to accidentally flirt with people too without realising it. Besides that I’m loud, I laugh a lotttt (usually at the stupidest things) and have a mostly positive outlook on life. An exorcist who roams the land with Liyue as his base of operations, evil spirits fleeing wherever he goes. As the heir to a clan of exorcists, he has always possessed abilities superior to most. However, these abilities are not the result of training, but of an inborn trait — a pure yang spirit.

How you two met:

Chongyun was picking up some lunch at Wanmin restaurant, when he heard lighthearted laughter coming from behind him. Normally, he wouldn't pay much attention to this, due to the naturally busy nature of the harbor but this laughter had been going on for a couple of minutes, and sounded particularly happy. When he looked back, he saw you, doubling over in elation over...something?

Chongyun turned around in vague confusion, trying to decipher what exactly this person was laughing at

Even after a couple of minutes, he couldn't figure it out, so he just decided to get up and ask

He approached you tentatively, unsure of whether or not it was a smart decision

Finally, when he had asked you what was so funny, you looked up at him, still laughing, and barely managed to communicate the words 'cheese, floor'

Even more confused, he looked down at the ground, seeing no cheese at all

He decided to help you up though, since you had a chance of getting hurt if he just left you on the ground like that

He sat you down at the table in front of him, and helped you calm down a little before asking you once again, what you were laughing at

Eventually, he was able to understand that someone had tripped whilst carrying a box of cheese, and the cheese made a funny sound when it hit the ground

Chongyun laughed a little at this, imagining what sounds that cheese could've possibly made

He asked you if you'd like to spend the rest of his lunch together, since he was intrigued by you, and really had nothing better to do

Around an hour passed by before he was finished, and the two of you bonded quite nicely over that time

After saying his goodbyes, Chongyun made internal plans to find you again, and to hang out

A couple of days had passed by, and Chongyun caught a glimpse of you playing with some animals on the bridge. He decided to take the opportunity to get to know you better, and walked over to greet you.

At first, he didn't really know how to go about talking to you, until he decided to work up the courage to simply start playing with the animals as well

He quietly crouched down and began to pet one of the dogs, and that was when you realized that he was there

You greeted him cheerfully, and he greeted you back, although with a little more visible nervousness

He kept petting the dog, ruffling it's fur, and you continued playing with the other animals

Despite not communicating too much through words, being in the vicinity of each other was quite comfortable, and it felt like the two of you were bonding quite well

After a while, the two of you decided to step back from the animals and to get lunch with each other

Chongyun was blushing a little now, for reasons that he couldn't really name

The two of you sat down at Wanmin restaurant, and ordered a fairly light lunch

While you two waited for you food to arrive, you decided to strike up a lively conversation with him

He smiled brightly, and engaged in a fairly lengthy conversation with you, until he had a moment of realization

He was now able to name the feeling that he got when he was around you, and he felt the need to tell you exactly what that feeling was

"Hey, uh...this is probably a weird time to tell you, but...I want to hang out more with you. Like, in a...in a dating type of way?"

Why you two are compatible:

One might find Chongyun as a composed and stoic individual, though his friends might not say it is true most of the time.

Chongyun is generally compatible with most people, so there's already a positive basis for your relationship

Even further than that though, I think that Chongyun's personality has a lot of parts that go well with yours

I also think that your interests (although not explicitly stated in the game) would probably also be common interests of his

Personally, I feel as if Chongyun and you would have more of a naturally developing relationship, where it doesn't really hinge on what you two are like as people, but more so on what you two develop with each other throughout the relationship

Because of that, it's kind of hard to verbalize exactly what makes your relationship work as well as it would

Generally though, it could be summed up by saying that the two of you have a natural chemistry, and that fosters a wonderful relationship that builds upon itself

Relationship Headcanons:

Chongyun likely makes an edited version of his popsicles for you, so that they have flavor

Since you like to read, he'd likely give you a lot (and I mean a lot) of books as gifts

He's very sweet to you, and is generally very affectionate

I think he'd get very flustered very easily, since I don't imagine that he's had any serious romantic feelings for anyone before

He'd be very inexperienced in a relationship, but he'd still be very earnest with the relationship

I think he'd also enjoy playing sports with you, or at least learning how to play them just for you

Generally, I think a romantic relationship with him would only have minor differences to a platonic one, since I can't really envision him as someone who's too romantic

New Years Headcanons:

Chongyun was walking back to his home after an exorcism, thinking of what he wanted to do for New Years

Usually, he would just go and see the fireworks with his family, but this year he had you, and wanted to do something new

After a while, he decided that he would take you down near the port, and take you on a small boat over the seas if he could

He consulted with his parents on whether or not he could, and once he was given approval, he immediately headed over to your home to ask if you wanted to go with him

Once you confirmed, he smiled happily, and brought you over to the area on the port that overlooks the sea

You two spent a couple of hours there, tasting the foods and snacks that the street vendors offered, and interacting with some of the local attractions

Later into the night, he took you over to the docks, and helped you onto a small boat

The boat rowed out a little further into the waters, until it stopped at a moderate distance from the port

You two spent a little while there, before you saw people at the harbor bringing out the fireworks display

He smiled at you, and held your hand as the two of you watched the fireworks ignite into the sky

"I'm glad you agreed to come out with me...and that you agreed to spend your time with me in general. Thank you, I...I love you!"

2. Who is/are your least favorite character(s) and why?

I will name you my three least favorite characters….

Mayuri Kurotsuchi <- I disliked him strongly in the Soul Society Arc. But now I am more irritated at his constant insertion in the narrative (in the TYBW!) that cudgels other characters' panel time. 

Aizen <- I love to hate him! I will never forgive him for what he did to Momo… He is an incredible villain though just fantastic.

Ginjo Kugo <- He is my least fav of all of them but my most fav as a villain. I personally think he is the best villain in all of Bleach especially when you think of how human both him and Ichigo are.

3. Favorite minor character?

 I guess Yamada Hanataro. He is such a cutie-pie and so brave. He is terrified but so courageous.

4. Favorite zanpakuto?

Senbonzakura. Has a very concrete theme that matches her master, Byakuya Kuchiki perfectly + really good shikai and bankai.

15. Favorite arc and why?

This one’s difficult to say. All of the official arcs have good and bad moments (in term of writing)... Arguably I really love those very early chapters of bleach which truely focused on the theme of grief and survivors guilt. The entire substitute shinigami arc is top notch. I also love the Lust arc… its incredibly well done; the everything but the rain arc is also a favourite along with the Headless Star chapters.

16. Favorite movie and why?

The live action. I think the story adapts the overall manga well condensing it into a movie.

My nickname is Zay and my pronouns are she/her. So I’m overall a pretty outgoing person. I love to talk to my friends and family and can talk about pretty much anything with people I’m comfortable with, though I can be pretty awkward when I first meet new people. I have a tendency to accidentally flirt with people too without realising it. Besides that I’m loud, I laugh a lotttt (usually at the stupidest things) and have a mostly positive outlook on life. I also loveeee cats and volunteering at animal shelters is my favourite thing to do. when time allows it, he also loves going with you to volunteer at animal shelters!! of course it’s because he’d also like to help you… but the sight of you all giggly, playing around cats, is another great motivator.

I was reading Say you'll see me again, even if it's just pretend.

And it took me a long long time to get through it while I usually finish books quite quickly became you guessed it. It made me cry out a waterfall everytime I picked it up. (I'll leave a huge comment on the work itself to appreciate it)

God I swear I could like write a project paper about how much I loved this book and how amazing I thought it was. And I really thought that lil snippet of Max and Charles in the story was interesting, so I went to your profile to check your other works and oh god I never realised that almost all of my FAVOURITE works were written by YOU!

In the night we're wild eyed is the BEST thing I've read on AO3 ever. It'll always be I am in love with that story I have literally told atleast 10 of my friends about how talented this writer must be and how I absolutely got mesmerized by this world you presented to us.

And Give this a chance, it's not just another song and dance again I thought it was so well written I just never realised it was by the same person. I am in AWE of you. How have you consistently created such long pieces of fiction with such immaculate writing and such incredible story lines who feel absolutely different from one another. Your max and Charles in all the stories remain realistic yet fresh so do your George and Alex. I swear I'm gonna read all of your works. Going to take a lot of time but it'll be worth it.

poetry candlelight and philosophy for the ask game <3

you guys seemed to ask the same questions! so i'll just copy and paste my responses if that's alright :)

poetry - honestly i'm not really sure what i'm doing with my life (well is anyone really?) but i'm thinking something psychology related as that's what i want to study at uni. idk, maybe i'll end up being a therapist or something haha. and i'm not very far along the journey as i'm still right in the middle of my gcses (save me), but i know i'm taking psychology for a level at least.

candlelight - i'm not sure if i could choose a favourite book honestly - i go though a lot of phases of being obsessed with different book series. i used to read a lotttt as a child, but then i got a phone and my attention span vanished :(, and i don't have time to read much anymore because i procrastinate hw.

i love percy jackson and all of rick riordan's books because of the lgbt representation - they helped me figure a few things out about myself :). also mythology is cool. i plan to reread all the series after exams when i have the time. my school is doing percy jackson the musical next year as a school production and i'll probably end up doing technical theatre for it :D.

i also had a massive his dark materials faze when i was younger. it lowkey became a personality trait. we got to study it in school though which was pretty cool.

philosophy - hot chocolate! it feels like a crime as a british person to not like tea, but its never really appealed to me much. and coffee just smells better than it tastes. also i have friends with caffeine addictions and i really don't need that in my life :P
