Maybe he would put funny sound bites from videos of you both in the intro, from clips of you doing the most stupid things (but he finds it endearing because he is so in love with you). Oh and the bit between the verse and chorus could be him listening off things that he loves about you (in his really cute voice 🥺)

I feel like Gwangil would write such a goofy song. I definitely think he would be able to write a really emotional song like Sangyeop, but he's not gonna show you that yet (he's waiting for the right moment because he's going to ask for your hand after, I need to stop lol). I could see it being a really cheesy song or one that's filled with stupid puns because he knows that you hate them but you love him and he's going to be annoying about it. I love how you said that he's "into the bright and fun side of love", I definitely agree with that. I agree that he wouldn't want to make you cry, I feel like his is the only one who wouldn't make you cry with his song (Wonsang wouldn't want to make you cry, but he writes such beautiful songs that I think he would do it accidentally lol)

Now that I’ve discovered the source, a bit more on that S6 ‘leak’ concerning Chloe...

Have to say, if this IS a fake... it’s a pretty good one! Or pretty bad, if your initials are CB.

1. What evolution? There is NO evolution here, just more and more hate. Or is that my feelings towards Miraculous Ladybug..?

2. Chloe is a ‘lost cause’, eh? Well, that’s one thing her and the show have in common at least...

3. Why do I get the feeling Thomas Astruc would put a stronger word than ‘brat’ there... if he knew Disney wasn’t watching?

Anyway, onto her BIG DEVELOPMENTS for the season... Time to GET EXCITED(!)

 ...So let me get this straight. It’s just like Queen Bee all over again (never accuse this show of not recycling a mediocre storyline), except this time Chloe DOESN’T make the mistake of revealing herself to the public. 

No, she’s got her ex-bestie to do that for her! And stopping Chloe from doing good, whether it be for her own ego or not, is the right thing to do?! If she’s helping others and saving people’s lives, what do it matter that she’s doing it for her own interest?

You know what, the writers had a halfway decent idea here (yes, I’m just as shocked as you are). Chloe could’ve made a fresh start in a city where no-one knows her, slowly seen the error of her ways, learned from her experiences what it means to be a TRUE hero, gradually tried reconnecting with her old friends, father and MAYBE even her half-sister... 

Nah, let’s ditch all that in favor of yet ANOTHER unbelievably stale ‘Chloe turns evil’ plot, have Sabrina betray her (ooohhh the irony!) then have her back to square one again as the resident Super-Bitch! (Yep, there’s that word I bet Thomas wanted to use...) Pathetic. 

But then again, that’s this show in a nutshell. Raising your hopes sky-high with much build-up, then dropping them from a great height like Ladybug falling after her yo-yo string snaps. (OOPS, now where did I put those shears?) ^^

Oh, and guess what her kwami as Silver/Steel Feather will be like? This one’s a doozie!

So to sum it up: She starts out as Pollen (though, I’d prefer the term ‘subservient’) and ends up as... Audrey. 

Just what Chloe needs in her life, someone else to yell at her for perceived misdemeanors. She was TRYING, Taara... not her fault if Sabrina decided to blow the whistle on her attempts at self-improvement!

At least praise her for her acts of bravery as a hero, if not her overall attitude. But no, this is Miraculous Ladybug we’re talking about here; there are no gray areas. Black is black, white is white and Chloe ‘will always be a bi... brat’. You read it here folks, straight from the horse’s mouth.

If I hadn’t already Rage Quit the show when Zoe made her thoroughly unnecessary and unwelcome appearance, I’d be pretty upset right now. But as things stand, the biggest emotional response I can muster in response to this latest outrage is a slight shrug of the shoulders, and a pointed ‘Whatever’.

“Sangyeon. If I had known we were going to eat here, I would have dressed nicer.” You half-heartedly wail while staring at your boyfriend. Everyone knows Sangyeon cleans up very nicely and is always so handsome. It would be unlike him to not dress his best especially for a date with you. Even though, personally speaking, you like him best when he’s wearing less. 

He chuckles and watches as his eyes crinkle the way they always do whenever he laughs. “Well if I told you, it would have spoiled the surprise. Besides, what you’re wearing right now is stunning. If we were in a couples contest, we would win best dressed.”

Even when his words of flattery annoy you, it always manages to get a smile out of you. “Sweetheart, flattery will get you nowhere in life.” Your hands find their way into giving him a pat on the back. They only get a few pats in before he takes your hands to hold them. “Well, it got me you. So I would say it did get somewhere.” All of the while said with a teasing smile and tone.

“You’re fucking insufferable sometimes, you know that?”

“Yeah, but you still love me for it.” He shrugs his shoulders as he leads you to the table for tonight. Your eyes roll when you hear him say that. And of course, he pulls out the chair for you like the gentleman he is. “Didn’t know that I could get your eye to roll outside of bed too.” A gasp is let out before you try to gather your thoughts to respond.

“Did Sunwoo give you some of his water to drink today? It’s been like three years since we started dating and never in a million years would I have guessed that I would hear anything like that come out of your pretty little mouth.” It only takes a minute or two for Sangyeon to realize what he said to you and attempt to excuse himself from the table because he’s flustered. “No, no. Sweetheart, it’s okay. It’s a bit out of character but they’re funny.”

“It just slipped out so easily, I’m so sorry. Maybe I’ve been spending too much around Sunwoo and Kevin. They’ve been speaking more nonsense with each other lately and yeah.” Your head falls back in laughter. “Oh lord, I know. I’ve seen their conversations from Deobi online. I can’t say I’m not surprised by Sunwoo but Kevin too? But then again, Kevin’s a wildcard so I’ll admit, I’m not too surprised.” With your hands on top of each other, you softly squeeze his hand to reassure him that he’s fine and really it’s not a big deal.

After ordering your food, Sangyeon animatedly talks about their comeback. Based on everyone’s reaction, they’re really excited for it to come out. You love hearing him talk. His voice is so soothing.

“I’m sure that this comeback will be successful. Eric is back with y’all and you guys worked hard for this comeback. Deobis won’t let you down and neither will I. Fighting!!”. Reassuring him will never not help put his heart at ease. He’s always super thankful for your support. As more time passes, your food gets placed and is ready to be eaten. Unknowingly, you both ordered the same dishes as your first date. Only after a minute goes by before Sangyeon’s light bulb turns on as he remembers something.

“Babe, don’t you remember how we first met? God, what an unforgettable moment that was.” He even starts to chuckle before continuing. It only takes a minute for you to remember and you start to laugh along with him. “I can’t believe I said that to you. To be fair, I still think that what I said is true.”

As if on cue, you both get ready to re-enact the scene. You had gotten out of your seat to take a seat in front of him while he was sipping his wine.

- start of flashback -

“Do you know who you look like?” You teasingly ask and for him to nod his head no. “You look like my future husband!”

With that, he’s left frozen because he’s never had someone try to flirt with him that boldly, much less in front of his friends. Oh yeah, he wasn’t out having dinner by himself. He was out with some of his members. If you must know, it was Jacob, Hyunjae, Eric, Younghoon, and Kevin. A quick kick under the table from Kevin to Sangyeon is heard. An attempt to get him to respond to you as the silence is taunts them. A fake cough from Eric whisper yelling him to “ask for her number or something, hurry up hyung!!”

It’s hilarious seeing this pan out because you’re still there as if you don’t see and hear all of this happening. “Oh yeah, well you look like my future wife. Let’s call it even but I guess we can’t really call it even unless we exchange phone numbers.” He hands you his phone and watches as you gracefully enter your number into his phone. When you give it back to him, he expects for you to hand your phone over but you don’t.

“I know you’ll call me so why bother? Also good save lover boy. Almost thought I was going to be left hanging there.” You get up from your seat and with a click of your tongue, you take your leave. Not even getting very far before a hand reaches for your arm. In doing so, he pulls you back and with his soft smile “Even if I did leave you hanging, I’d be there to catch you.”

“You smooth motherfucker. I knew you had it in you but you still got some work to do before you really catch me.” As expected, he didn’t know what to say next and before he even realized you were out of sight. Staring into the distance like a deer caught in the headlights. Hyunjae was the one to call him to come back. It’s safe to say that you were the talk of the table until the dinner ended.

“Your confidence struck me like lightning that day. You wouldn’t believe how red I was after I went back to the table.” You’re sipping while listening and it takes a lot in you not to spit it out from laughing. “Oh, lover boy. I could imagine it. Gosh, you’re still as cute and lovely. I still think you look my future husband.” His eyes find yours and they light up like a million stars in the night. It doesn’t matter how many times he’s heard that, it will always make his heart flutter.

“And I still think you look my future wife. God y/nnie, the things you do to me. I love you so much!”

Heh, the ending is a bit abrupt but I’m ngl I like how most of this turned out so I’m not too bothered by this.

You’d be surprised how quickly one gets used to being kidnapped when it starts to happen weekly or more.

At least, Emmett was surprised by how easily they fell into this strange routine.

Well, if they were being honest with themself, Emmett could hardly call what this was ‘kidnapping’ anymore. Not when he rang their doorbell and asked politely to be let in now instead.

It had started when Murdoc had escaped from prison. The first time he did this it was scary. Granted, Murdoc hadn’t harmed Emmett; he had, in fact, been remarkably gentle. But that didn’t negate the fact that it was downright terrifying for Emmett. He’d used a needle to intravenously sedate Emmett and zip tied them to a chair in a cold, lowly lit room in the middle of nowhere; suffice it to say, it was not a fun experience for Emmett.

But things had changed.

Where Murdoc used to knock Emmett out for the car ride with a sedative, he now simply let them sit, unaffected, in the front seat of the car, free to enjoy the breeze from the open window. Where he used to zip tie Emmett to a cold metal chair, he’d now brought in a soft bean bag chair for them to sit in instead. He didn’t bother with restraining their hands anymore either.

They went to the same room each time, but each time Emmett was back, something about it had been changed, or more specifically, Murdoc had added some trapping or other type of decoration. Whether it was the bean bag chair, or some LED string lights, or even the snacks and water bottle lying atop the aforementioned bean bag chair, it seemed Murdoc was doing his best to make this a more inviting space for Emmett.

The effort was not lost on Emmett, though it did confuse them greatly.

Tonight, as they surveyed the room, they found that next to the usual snacks laying on the bean bag chair, lay a wrapped present. It was small, maybe the size of your average hardback novel.

Emmett looked to Murdoc in question, to which he replied, in a tone that suggested he was holding something back, “Go on, it's for you.” Emmett vaguely wondered if this was a booby trap of some sort before deciding, ‘no, if he wanted to hurt me, he definitely would have done so already’ and carefully unwrapping the present.

As they did so, it was revealed to be a small black leather bound sketchbook, accompanied by a teal mechanical pencil, the type Emmett always used when drawing, they noted, somewhat unsettled by the detail, though still impressed.

As Emmett sat on their haunches there, trying to process exactly what was going on, Murdoc padded over silently and put a hand on their shoulder, wordlessly asking them to stand and turn around to face him.

“Do you like it?” he asked in that same strange tone from earlier. It sounded…hopeful, almost tender, Emmett might say, if they didn’t know better from Murdoc.

Emmett looked down at the sketchbook held in their hands and then back up at Murdoc, only holding his gaze for a short few seconds before looking down again.

“...Yea, I- I love it, thank you, Murdoc..”

“But?”

“...yea..but why?”

Murdoc looked mildly offended. “What do you mean, ‘why’? It's a gift. I’m allowed to give gifts.”

Emmett raised a disbelieving eyebrow at Murdoc.

Murdoc huffed, “When I was at your apartment, I saw your pencil and paper, filled with unfinished sketches strewn about your desk. I figured you liked drawing, okay?”

Emmett shook their head, still confused, “Okay, so, you were right. I do draw and don’t get me wrong, I really, really like this sketchbook. It looks pricier than anything I could afford. But I still don’t understand why you gave me anything, let alone a gift so personal? Aren’t we, y’know, enemies? I work at the organization that’s been tasked with tracking you down and putting you back in federal prison. And you, well, you kidnap me almost every week, sometimes more?”

“Yea, but do I hurt you?”

“What?”

“Have I ever hurt you?”

“Well, aside from the needles-”

“Yes, yes, aside from the needles-”

“No.”

It was a definitive answer from Emmett, a resounding ‘No’. Murdoc hadn’t ever laid a finger on Emmett while he’d had them stolen away.

It wasn’t something Emmett had really thought about very hard, mostly because it confused the hell out of them. But, as Murdoc shuffled uncomfortably in his spot in front of Emmett, the gears turned in their brain and they came to a, frankly, really interesting conclusion: maybe Murdoc felt the same way they did.

It seemed impossible but the more Emmett thought about it, the more it seemed like the logical, feasible conclusion. It certainly explained his more gentle behavior towards them and of course, the gift.

But as Emmett opened their mouth to confirm their theory, they found themselves stuttering anew all over again.

“M-Murdoc..d-does this mean what- what I think it means?”

Murdoc glanced at the wall behind Emmett, now decorated in light blue fairy lights, not wanting to meet their equally blue eyes.

“What exactly do you think it means?”

“Murdoc, do you like me?”

The question hit Murdoc like a freight train. God, he did like Emmett. I mean, after all, why else would he go to all this trouble to impress them? Why else would he even be abducting them in the first place, if he could even call it that anymore? Hell, why else would he have left them alive to begin with when he knows he wouldn’t have done the same for any other person in their position?

The evidence was undeniable: Murdoc did like Emmett. He liked them a lot. He had for awhile too, since back when he had been in supermax and Emmett visited him so often. He just hadn’t had the courage to say so to their face, hence the weird pseudo-abductions and gift-giving behaviors.

In his defense, Murdoc was an extremely emotionally dysfunctional person. The fact that he had even fallen in love with one person before, Amber, remained deeply confusing to him. But at least Amber had made some logical sense; she was violent, dangerous and deranged, just like him.

But none of that was true for Emmett. They were the opposite of that, albeit equally if not more so intelligent. They were gentle, kind, soft and sweet and utterly defenseless. Normally that kind of person, that weakness, irked Murdoc greatly, but something about Emmett made those traits incredibly endearing. He wanted to protect them, hold them and let them melt into him at the end of a long hard day.

It was a sentiment he was not really familiar with, to say the least. So when Emmett asked him point blank, if he liked them, he was completely paralyzed. For all his pining, what if they didn’t like him back? After all, why should they, he’s a monster, to put it lightly.

But, he swallowed his pride and fear and answered.

“And what if I do like you?”

Emmett looked at him confused by the answer but hopeful too.

“Well.. if you did like me, then I’d probably be pretty happy about that actually.”

Murdoc spoke tentatively, surprising even himself at how vulnerable he sounded.

“Okay… then I think you’re gonna be pretty happy right now.”

Emmett blinked owlishly, as they did when they were confused, before catching the drift and realizing what Murdoc was trying, in his own emotionally constipated way, to say. Their lips quirked upwards slightly in a sort of questioning smile, and their head tilted a bit to one side, still not entirely sure if they were interpreting Murdoc correctly.

“Murdoc, am I correct in interpreting that as a ‘yes’?”

Murdoc didn’t answer but nodded his head almost imperceptibly to indicate a yes.

Emmett’s small smile grew and they replied softly, “I like you too, Murdoc. I like you a lot.”

The assassin sighed an almost comically loud sigh of relief at that and one could almost visibly see the tension leave his body. Murdoc smiled; it was an uncharacteristically wholesome smile, starkly contrasting the sinister grins that usually adorned his face.

He reached a gloved hand up to hold Emmett’s face before pausing midway there and asking, “Is this okay? I realize you’re not fond of touch in some cases. I also realize I’ve probably made you uncomfortable before and I don’t ever wanna do that again.”

Emmett huffed a small laugh at the apparent absurdity of it all; Murdoc, globally renowned and infamous assassin and murderer, was asking permission to touch them.

They reached their own hand up to hold his, placing it on its original target, their cheek, signaling to Murdoc that the touch was welcome.

“Hey, I get it, you had a persona to keep up. I’m just glad we can be like this now, y’know, touchy and what- wait- are we boyfriends now?” It was a genuine question.

Murdoc looked equally confused and after a moment of consideration replied, “Yea. Yea, I think we are. If you’re okay with that?”

Emmett smiled wide and leaned hard into Murdoc’s hand, much like a cat does when headbutting someone affectionately. “Yea, Murdoc, that sounds good, that sounds really good.”

Murdoc could swear he actually felt his heart beat faster at that and smiled warmly back down at Emmett.

The two stood there like that for a while, just basking in each other’s presence before Emmett said, “Okay, now that we’re boyfriends, do we have to go to this dingy old room everytime we see each other?”

“Hey!” Murdoc interjected, a little offended, “I worked hard to make this ‘dingy old room’ nice and pleasant for you…but, I see your point, maybe I could visit your place? Y’know, if you were cool with that?”

Emmett chuckled a bit at Murdoc’s initial response and replied, “Yea, Murdoc, I’d love that, let’s do it!”

And with that, the two made their way back to Murdoc’s car and headed back to Emmett’s apartment, sitting in contented silence for the majority of the ride home.

Okay, we’ll admit we were among those hoping for an appearance from Special Agent Kensi Blye tonight, considering the episode was directed by Daniela Ruah, who played the badass agent on NCIS: LA from 2009 to 2023.

But we’re happy to have Ruah (who previously directed episodes of NCIS: LA) bring her knowing eye to helming NCIS. “It was the first time I was directing on ‘the mothership’ as we lovingly call it,” Ruah tells us in Case Closed, our NCIS aftershow. “It almost didn’t matter what came my way in terms of storyline, I just wanted to be part of it and work with the crew and cast of NCIS. I was received with open arms – like a wonderful, warm hug.”

Her passion for directing showed in this classic case-of-the-week storyline where the team chased down a petty officer’s murderer, who turned out to be someone a little too close to home. It also included a comedic through line about Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) trying to hide the fact that he sometimes cheated on his strict fitness regimen from his new temporary roommate, boss Alden Parker (Gary Cole). “Wilmer’s a funny guy,” Ruah says. “He brings a comedic timing. My job is just to capture it. Maybe I throw in a possible improv.”

Considering we last saw Kensi in the NCIS: LA series finale, discovering that her dream had come true, and she was finally pregnant with hubs/fellow agent Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen), we had to know if Ruah wonders as much as we do what her alter ego is doing now. As Ruah was sharing with us that she calculated Kensi’s due date and would always love the character she’d played for so long, she realized she was wearing an outfit she’d taken home from set that had been part of Kensi’s onscreen wardrobe – sweater, jeans, and signature boots. She cracks about how the writers might have worked Kensi’s motherhood into a script: “Do we now have an episode with Kensi fighting with a baby in her arms? I wouldn’t put it past her. Or is she out of the game for a couple months?”

Ruah also told us how she feels about the upcoming Paramount+ series (nicknamed) NCIS: Europe which reunites beloved NCIS couple Tony (Michael Weatherly) and Ziva (Cote de Pablo). “I think it’s the best thing ever,” Ruah says. “They had time to go off and do other things. These roles are so establishing for us who have been cast members on the show. For them to pick up these two characters that people fell so madly in love with — even I was shipping ‘Tiva’ —  it’s a wonderful idea, and I’m so excited to watch it.”

As for a Kensi and Deeks spinoff? “I don’t know that I could see one in the near future,” Ruah says. “Eric’s really busy doing what he’s doing and loving that. I’m loving this. I would never say never, but in the near future, that’s probably not on the table. It’s important for us to go and find ourselves in other things. The show was important and special to us, but it’s like leaving the nest.”

You’ll get to see Ruah’s behind-the-camera talents again in an episode of NCIS: Hawai’i coming up in April. Ruah, who does not appear in the hour, reveals that the plot takes deep dives into the characters and, “I think it’s the darkest episode they’ve ever had. The crime that’s committed and what we find out over the course of the episode…it’s not a pleasant story.”

One of many things that I think sets Peanuts apart from other strips is how well Schulz depicts depression (probably because he almost certainly suffered from it). You might think depression is just a sad feeling similar to grief but it's actually more of an irrational pessimism coupled with a persistent sense dread. Your brain doesn't exactly lie to you but instead tells you the most negative version of the truth possible which can lead you to some very irrational conclusions. You feel fine, it's the ~world~ that's broken (and keeps giving you these useless pennies).

Er, not that I know anything about all that.

Anyways, Schulz perfectly captures this in a way that's honest and sincere but also entertaining and kid-friendly. Which is pretty damn impressive when you think about it.

The main thing I'm noticing is that everybody looks twice as old as they did last year while the expression work is getting a bit more complex and nuanced. Charlie Brown's head is literally half the size it was in 1950, Schroeder has aged up into an actual character and has shed a lot of his UPA stylization, Snoopy's face is becoming a bit more blocky and angular, and Lucy's eyes no longer make her look like some kind of cursed doll. Big improvements all around I think.

Linus... got a shirt. Look it's only been 3 months what do you want from me?

There's also a lot more detail in the backgrounds now which is creating a wonderful sense of these characters existing in an actual environment. Schulz is also surprisingly good at drawing plants and nature which adds a nice organic softness to his world. anyways i do hope this controversy doesnt impede on either grps promos :( and i rlly hope everything gets sorted out... im srsly hoping this doesnt turn into a 5050 situtation again but with nwjns i was so upset when that happened . was curious on what your thoughts were or if u were keeping up with everything?

i think hybe definitely was shady for greenlighting illit's concept when it's clear there was inspiration from newjeans. i personally just assumed they discussed this with ador but i guess not?? so weird that they don't act like proper adults in that building. i'll also say that i don't think min heejin's concept for newjeans is original or considered "hers" but since most people associate that concept with newjeans, it's safe to say that illit's creative director probably got it from newjeans anyways. another thing about hybe tho is that i don't think they've been doing strong concepts for their groups. txt did have a strong one initially but bighit just stopped trying for them (probs bc their team got moved to source music 🥲) i think belift did a good job with keeping the vampire concept for enha consistent and i was initially scared that it would stop after hybe fully acquired cj enm, but i think they've recognized that enha just has too much connected to their vampire concept (their webtoon, storyline for their music videos) but enha's also been neglected by hybe a lot so screw them 🚶‍♂️

i hope this issue doesn't mess with comebacks either :/ it's like suspiciously right before newjeans' comeback, which throws me off because i feel like there's always some shit min heejin's pulling right before or during their comebacks (ex: inserting herself in the OMG music video at the very end) and it's so weird to me how she always talks about them as if she's the sixth member 😭

CBS Ghosts Review- The Silent Partner

Isaac and Sam's relationship is an underrated one to me, so I love episodes that have the opportunity to show it off. Granted this episode was definitely nowhere near as exciting or full of oomph as Halloween 3, but what is?

It highlighted once again the fact that Jay and Sam need to do more work communicating as a couple and maybe discussing limits about things or showing more appreciation cause like, Sam really gave Jay a telling off for not paying attention to her book because all he cares about is his restaurant, but frankly, I feel the man has the right to focus on stuff that's meaningful to him, especially after he did stuff like dig up Flower's death spot to get something for the seance to bring her back. That gets him a lot, to me, and I feel like sometimes Sam can be a little forgetful that even though Jay loves her and the ghosts, he needs time to do stuff that's just for him and that's not a crime.

Now that doesn't excuse him treating Isaac as if he's just some annoying imaginary friend and I was glad that he came up with the table and the speech to show that he actually did read the book about Isaac to show that he did believe in the man's value as part of his family, even if he's a ghost Jay can't see. (And totally agree with everyone that it would have been nice to see Nigel there at the unveiling and if we don't get at least one shot of Nigel and Isaac having a date for two at the ghost table, I will be sad.)

The part with Sas and Hetty and the candy was another case of "good idea, poor execution." They took it far enough and used some really weird wording for it (like when they were all "She can hold onto the candy and her fingers will be in our mouths") that it just made me wince and squirm and not blame Carol for wanting to go on a walk to get away from them one bit.

Last but definitely not least, I'm sure I was not the only one who was cheering when Pete revealed to Carol that he knew about her affair with Jerry and told her she sucked. It was well earned and I think she's lucky that he's too nice a guy to give her worse. (Although I do give her credit, even if it's a way to excuse her own cheating or whatever, for immediately asking if Pete is with someone. For all her issues with Pete, she's not a hypocrite who just expected her husband to be super loyal to her while she cheated on him because she felt entitled to that. She seemed genuinely surprised that he chose to stay loyal. Granted he didn't KNOW she cheated until later, but...still.) And although it's a low bar, also congrats to Carol for being one of the few ghosts or people to be at least decent to Nancy on sight compared, say, to Hetty, who still calls her "it."

I wish it would have just been Nancy and Pete doing the fake girlfriend thing. Cause like, with them, we know it's fake. She's there to make him look good and then she steps away. Whereas with Alberta, you just know that this relationship is something that they could make into a real thing, even after throwing it away, and since I don't feel like Richie and Danielle have that kind of chemistry it's just like...ugh, okay. Although, there could be another love interest coming for Alberta soon so maybe they aren't being made into a couple. That's my hope.

All in all, yay for Pete. That is the high point of this mostly functional episode, although, as usual, I do enjoy Isaac and Sam. Now we're on a short hiatus until early April where we could get a bachelor party and the return of Nigel! Can't wait!

Mielikki only helps CB when it’s godly business linked, realms chosen are exploited/manipulated even by good gods. They can help eachother with resolving their past with those two goddesses

If not that then Thay exile fire primordial god drama with Dahlia and Catti-Brie in the forefront.

The ideas and hopes rattling in my head for ages

I’m big jartamis fan but I want Dahlia and Artemis to refind eachother and start again once they both had their own space to grow some more. Like I don’t want trope that love fixes all, they can grow on their own adventures and rekindle later. Like they were vulnerable and deeply cared with each other but it was very new to them at the time. In life I’ve had friendships break or drift and reform after time and personal development. Too many fans who hate her would grumble but Dahlia having her own book should happen like her own sellswords. Kinda messed up how much love Artemis gets and how much hate she gets for same character things.

But against this I also love my head-cannon that Dahlia would choose to date Xenk. Like I want only good things for her and someone who can love her fully that the others couldn’t do and maybe he can be that for her. Someone where being vulnerable around them is safe, maybe Artemis can’t be that person. Drizzt clearly wasn’t good for her either. If Artemis can have redemption arc she should too in her own terms, like her going back to finish business with Thay and Xenk/harpers joining her to stop her former boss Szass Tam. Since their stories overlap with Thay. Like it’s been completely forgotten she was a high ranking red wizard and her conflicts with other wizards was more likely Szass making sure his minions fought eachother than him. But she’s free now and could weaken his hold on thay with the right crew to back her up.

Also if we do get her helping looking for her as it’s hinted in the books. I want Catti and Dahlia to get along more outside their story being only about Drizzt and Artemis all the time.

Catti likely having a upcoming crisis over her goddess happening with Dahlia would be so interesting. Both goddess used them as puppets to fight, why can’t they talk about that bullshit. Dahlia is someone who could help Catti-brie with dealing with the fact her goddess has used her body without permission or care. Like Mielikki is meant to be good but doesn’t respect Catti-bries autonomy or consult her in godly plans if that’s what she wants. She’s done few big nice things for her but overall gods in realms really use and exploit their chosen. Dahlia walked away from so much of this in her life, Catti could open up to her about it.

Or her and Catti teaming up to deal with primordials since they have that overlap (lore wise guess what Thay exiles worship a fire primordial god!). Add in Penelope harpell too. Dahlia and Penelope duo plz (like they both dates all genders in book I prob overlooked this for her for my ships) . As I’m here, why is there no official or fan art of Penelope. I’ve looked and never found it.

I know at some point a fan fic for Dahlia is coming especially if what happened to her in the books doesn’t satisfy me. Maybe combine all of the above, adventure with Xenk and then Catti and then decide what feels right after that.

I saw someone hint that ‘maybe she’s pregnant and that’s why she left and ditched her dangerous staff’ and I dunno I’d hate a tropey ‘being a mother for the second time is focus of her big character development to kindness’ urgh. If we get that I’m shaving my head and growing a single pony tail and buying a tazer before I write my own canon. Let’s not make a woman’s character development be based around fertility and motherhood. There’s hope it won’t go this way cose RAS isn’t perfect but he has given Catti adventures after she gave birth. Like she has a life and wants/needs outside her motherhood. So there hope he would write that for Dahlia too.

colby has had almost exclusively flings since 2016 after he broke up with his only girlfriend (or he claims to be his only girlfriend). he has a lot that he needs to work on internally before he starts committing to anyone. he himself has said that basically. so i don't see him settling down anytime soon, but who knows. and same thing with sam. he just got out of a long relationship, so my first thought would not be to jump into another one. but he also has said he's a monogamous person and likes being in relationships. so… it's a bit up in the air for both of them. but i don't see them settling down any time soon.

and as for me, there's always been just a lot going on in my life so i've never really taken time to focus on my love life. or the couple times i have, it's been unrequited and heartache. however, i'm very happy i didn't date when i was younger bc i genuinely hated myself for a long time. and i just know i would have tolerated a lot more bc i didn't care about me and just didn't want to be alone. like i was borderline abused by dudes i wasn't even seeing back then. now, i love myself (for the most part lol) and have no issues being alone. and i also know what i want. and if a man, or woman, ever tried anything with me, i'll just leave lmao

GX FAIRY TAIL/GUILD AU REVAMP POST

since my ass was bad at properly compiling this stuff and I'm interested in doing something with this au again sooo this post just serves as a reintroduction to the concept and with a list of the assigned Magic, there are a few characters i never really settled on their magic even now so if there are any exclusions that'll be why some also have a combination which I'd chalk up to it's an au I can mess around if I want. Anyways! THE CONCEPT/GENERAL OUTLINE: While i call it a fairy tail au it doesn't really follow the plot of fairy tail mostly just borrowing it's magic systems and world-building (not to bash on the plot it's more just a personal decision) hence the alternative name for this au just being the guild au instead of a school Duel Academia is a guild, instead of duellists they're magic wizards and so on and so forth the plot's similarities lean toward certain important gx events but play out a little differently. like you'd still have stuff like SOL and Haou but the way they happen changes. if anyone wants further clarification feel free to ask and i'll go in-depth in a separate post. with that ot of the way let's get to the magic assignments and with a small explanation to why if applicable

REQUIP MAGIC - JUDAI (and Haou too) - I Figured this was the best parallel for the Elemental HEROs what with the many combinations and whatnot considering there are SEVERAL different requip armours it felt right. I say Haou too for the obvious reasons as there's not really much reason to change it other than the sorts of armour used. DRAGON SLAYER MAGIC - MANJOUME (Lightning) RYO (METAL) FUBUKI (FIRE) - Manjoume might seem like a little bit of a weird decision but cmon he's Manjoume Thunder it'd be fun (also in the time between this new post and the old post we now have armoured thunder dragon lvl 10 so that's pretty cool incentive) Ryo seems the most self-explanatory what with the cybers. and foobs getting fire bc of red eyes ICE MAKER MAGIC - ASUKA - This takes more from her manga deck n all but there's also just the fun dynamic of Fubuki being fire and her being ice MEMORY MAKER MAGIC - MISAWA - you could argue about something else being more fitting but idk i kinda enjoy this for him SATAN SOUL - EDO - mostly because some of the Destiny HEROs have that demonic kind of appearance (Dogma, Bloo D, ect) and idk there's something fun to it as a ploy to E HEROs being the requips CELESTIAL GATE MAGIC - JOHAN - this just makes sense. 7 keys for each of the CB an extra special one for RD and you can even throw in Crystal Protector and Vanguard too for some fun dynamics

YUBEL: i had a lot of different ones down for yubel due to plot reasons for the original but mostly crash and black magic i'm still hoping for it to be an amalgamation of stuff but what hasn't been really landed on yet just like the kind of magic where they're powerful enough to decimate someone but yet still have some sort of believable innocence (since part of their plans in the au does involve them infiltrating the guild at some point) PEOPLE I HAVE IDEAS FOR BUT NOTHING SOLID YET: SAIOU - I would imagine it to be something similar to Kana's cards but with Tarot cards instead not exactly sure of the ins and outs yet KENZAN - something of a mix between beast soul and animal soul take overs?? just with a more reptilian focus bc gotta keep the Dino DNA in tact O'BRIEN - gun requip might be an option but just a hard maybe atm I'll write more on bits later down in separate posts but that's basically it for now again feel free to ask for more if there is anything od interest

Below, Tarrant previews Kai and Sam’s dynamic and teases what’s ahead.

Talk about the training that Sam’s putting in Kai through and their dynamic, because I really do like it.

Alex Tarrant: The Devil Dash is coming up, and I believe that Kai mentions something about missing the days of the intense grueling training that they went through while they were in the Marines. And because of that, they took a little trip down memory lane. Todd’s character, Sam Hanna, can definitely keep up, but Kai’s definitely struggling this episode.

Talk about work with LL COOL J on that.

It was our first time really getting to properly work together. He’s an amazing guy, extremely professional. There’s a big reason why he’s lasted inside this industry for so long. He’s a legend in all senses, and I just feel so grateful to be working with him. I’m learning a lot from him as I go, especially about how to better hold myself as a person within this industry.

Why does Kai put himself through all this training and go along with everything Sam says—even the food?

Sam, it’s interesting. His life is in parallel with his character. A lot of us on set look up to him as an actor. And I guess Kai definitely looks up to Sam Hanna in terms of what he’s gone through with NCIS and his awesome stories that he tells, and he’s become a legend within that NCIS department. And so I think Kai’s just really wanting to impress him—and I think he’s really paying for it.

Kai is in a relationship now with Camille (Peyton List). Is that something that’s going to last? How is Kai feeling about that?

We’ll see. It’s a really interesting relationship, something that I feel like was only able to develop within the really odd circumstances of being in a war zone and being trapped together. And I guess through that—I always think about this. We meet a lot of people at our best, but sometimes the journey with someone lasts longer when we meet each other at the worst of times, and so I think that’s a really interesting thing that’s going on between those two.

How much more are we going to see of that?

I hope more.

Are we going to see her again?

So far she hasn’t been back for Season 3, but there’s always potential in later seasons, if we’re lucky enough.

I have to say something I enjoyed is the Kai and Kate (Tori Anderson) friendship we got in the premiere and Lucy’s (Yasmine Al-Bustami) reaction to that. Are we going to see more of that friendship this season?

Yeah, I hope so. There’s definitely more potential for that, for those relationships to grow. But so far, they’ve definitely kept it about business and they’re definitely sharing the relationships between how Sam Hanna relates to each and every character, and I think that’s really, really important. But hopefully along the way we get to strengthen and expand on that relationship between Kai and Whistler.

NCIS: LA‘s Daniela Ruah came in to direct an upcoming episode. Talk about working with her as a director?

Daniela’s fantastic. She’s an actor’s director. She’s been through it. It’s really amazing watching her do the action because she knows it herself. We’ve done three seasons trying to figure out what it is to arrest someone and keep an eye out on everything else that’s going on. But when I see Daniela do it and talk us through it and walk us through it, it just comes so naturally to her, and I can’t wait for that day where it becomes natural for me.

What can you preview about that episode?

We go into the forest and search for a killer who is slowly picking off members of this elite Marine team.
