I’ll be honest, I love “Jake is a morning person but Bradley isn’t” or “Bradley’s a morning person but Jake isn’t” as much as the next shipper but consider, they are both morning people but in different ways.

Bradley enjoys his mornings. He loves being awake before anyone else. Watching the sunrise and listening to the sounds of the world around him waking up. He’ll get up and make a pot of coffee, take a mug outside and watch the sun break over the horizon. Sometimes he puts on some low music but if he’s somewhere with birds he lets them be the soundtrack to his morning. Bradley takes his mornings slow.

Jake gets up and gets moving. He can’t sleep past six am no mater where he is in the world. It’s a habit he can’t shake from his childhood where he’d get up before the sun everyday because he had to beat the animals to getting up. He’d eat breakfast and then he and his father would head out to take care of the animals. Now days he starts ever morning with a run. Then he’s in the bathroom doing his complex skin care routine. After he’s done in there it’s breakfast. And then he’s off to work, always early. Always makes a good impression for his COs.

The first time they sleep together they wake within a few moments of each other. Jake goes to get up. Bradley thinks he’s leaving and grabs his arm, “stay, please.” And Jake can’t say no. So for the first time in his memory Jake takes his morning slow. They cuddle. Bradley gives him a blowjob and he returns the favor. They shower together, it’s a long one where they just take each other in, nothing sexual just admiring the other. And Jake is thinking, damn, how the hell did I land this perfect man? Eventually they make it to Bradley’s kitchen where Bradley puts on a pot of coffee and Jake starts making scrambled eggs. Bradley drapes himself against Jake’s back while he cooks. When their two plates of eggs and toast are done Bradley leads Jake outside to the porch and they enjoy the sunrise, although they took their morning slow enough that it’s mostly risen already. Sitting there in companionable silence Jake thinks to himself, I could get use to this.

I have this silly headcanon of Jean becoming accustomed to Jeremy's scent and at times relying on it to ground himself in the moments when things get too much and he feels overwhelmed by his traumas. Because the Nest had a smell, one that was sharp and metallic from all the blood spilled and knives drawn. But Jeremy smells soft like coconuts and vanilla. It's warm, and it's new, and it's distinct, and it's how Jean knows he can relax.

And one night he's alone in the dorm because Jeremy has gone out and Jean stayed in, practicing at distancing himself from his team captain. But, he wakes from a nightmare disoriented and shaken up. The only thing that seems to settle him is Jeremy's scent so present and familiar now as it fills the whole room. On instinct he stumbles over to Jeremy's vacant bed and throws himself onto it burying his nose deep into Jeremy's pillow. He can smell that trademark coconut shampoo and his heart starts to settle in his chest and his muscles relax. He knows where he is now and he feels safe. Before he knows it he's fallen asleep. Jeremy finally gets home not too long after, and that's how he finds Jean tangled in his sheets fast asleep with his hands fisted on Jeremy's pillow as if someone might try to steal it from under him.

a Lockwood & Co videogame would be so fucking cute. You start playing as Lucy but you can unlock George and Lockwood as playable characters and you have different abilities - sight for Lockwood, listening for Lucy etc. George gets additional research stats, Lucy and Lockwood have better fighting, sometimes you need Lockwood to charm an NPC but he might just piss them off. Lucy gets the Skull as the LOZ fairy-style advice giver but half the time it'll just sass you and tell you to fuck off. There's overarching plot but also a London full of sidequests dealing with people's hauntings and DEPRAC missions from Barnes. You can decorate the Portland Row house with defenses and ghost jars from cases and whatever else. Later on you could unlock Holly and Quill and Flo, either as playables or just as additional team support for your missions Dragon Quest-style, and when you unlock em they start hanging round the house. You have to unlock Lockwood's tragic past with little mystery puzzle games hidden in the house. You can have fight levels, chase levels, stealth levels, puzzle levels, fuck it, you could have a dating sim element if you felt so inclined. Cute spooky whimsy mixed with some proper horror and a hefty sprinkle of tragedy, it's got everything you need! There's a tea-making mini game.

I've seen the idea of Percy being allowed to bring someone to the dance but the idea of him then deciding to use his extra invite for Luna (in a platonic way) instead of bringing someone as like a date date because he can tell she wants to go but also thinks she's unlikely to be invited and Big Brother just instincts take over

i think it wouldn't be out of character for him to do it because I think of Percy as someone that will twist rules around a bit if its not very very clear what was intended

so like the invite is meant to go to "someone who otherwise wouldn't be able to attend the ball" meant to mean like someone already graduated and stuff but unintentionally also including people too young for it and obv having to be approved for it for obvious reasons so when Percy informs them of who he would like to invite they end up letting him because to go as a 3rd year you have to be invited and he's allowed to invite someone so its not breaking any rules.
