it would’ve made him furious. to watch people die, over and over again, from a puzzle that those with power didn’t want to solve. to hear so many become indignant or furious or hysterical at a diagnosis that labels them as queer. maybe it was worse to see those visibly gay men who only nodded their head, accepted that what had already begun killing their friends, their lovers, was killing them too.

everybody lies. whether they’re lying about their sexuality or lying about accepting an awful death shouldn’t make a difference to him. they’re going to die irregardless.

i think living through the epidemic as a young queer man would give additional explanation to a lot of house’s behavior. his general distaste for and mistrust for authority, his willingness to try any treatment no matter how radical or experimental, his conscious refusal to connect emotionally with patients, even down to less obvious stuff, like his consistent refusal to use heroin. he’s genuinely traumatized from living through an epidemic that killed people like him.

as for how saejun met mtt, my general interpretation of it is that nightmare struck a deal with saejun for food supplies in exchange for manual labour (so mtt and nightmare help a lot with the harvests! the only ones who really know about it is pilsu, saejun, anseung, and suggu)

saejun meets killer first and was the only one helping around the farm

i don't think saejun would be the type to pry into their pasts so he doesn't question killer about himself or anything

killer is the one who opens up to him one stormy night after a stage 3 episode where he holed himself up in the shed and saejun found him cold, shaking, and curled up embracing himself

he calms killer down and tells nightmare abt it and that's how he finds out about killer's past (he doesn't bring it up, but he's always there to help killer after his panic attacks)

he likes to do the chores with killer most of the time just in case he has a run in with chorongi or suggu (the kids are very silly and tend to mess with him and he doesn't know how killer is with children)

they photosynthesize together and sometimes nightmare just comes to get killer in the evening and finds them in the grass

horror // 취급주의 (Handle with Care) or 주주씨 (Mr. Vermillion)

he meets horror second (after he gets kidnapped by nightmare) and saejun isn't really scared of him because he figured that he probably has some hidden issues like killer

saejun thought horror was really fragile at first (because he was very thin and had a skull injury) so he actually had him do mostly little chores like going to the market or gathering eggs from the chickens

after a few months killer doesn't come in (was sent to a mission somewhere else) and saejun needs someone to handle the heavy hay bales (<- he could've done it himself but hes lazy) and horror just kinda Does It and surprises saejun

he starts to depend on horror more and actually admits that he was underestimating him out of concern for his wellbeing and horror says its ok because he was also underestimating saejun (until he saw him carry killer AND a bunch of crops home that one time)

they start to cook together and do the heavier chores (while making silly jokes abt killer) together

horror starts to learn korean by talking with dorihye, saejun, and pilsu as well as asking nightmare for some reading material ! (after finding out that dust also speaks korean, he starts practicing conversation with him !)

dust // 유골씨 (Mr. Ashes)

saejun's meeting with dust was noooot planned at all, nightmare just kinda forced mtt into a portal to farmtale during one of errors visits

horror mostly stayed with dust at first who was just dead silent and stayed in one spot (saejun asked if he wanted any drinks and it took ten excruciating seconds before horror had to answer water for him)

its not until pilsu comes into the house and greets killer and horror and makes a remark about a new brother that he starts to actually talk

dust doesn't exactly warm up to pilsu and more like forces himself to because pilsu starts to ask him what his favourite pasttimes are, his favourite food, if he wants any snacks, etc (killer and horror went through the same thing)

dust eventually gets carried off to the kitchen to cook with pilsu and that's how pilsu finds out dust speaks fluent korean even though they have different dialects

saejun goes into the kitchen and has a little talk with dust (where he learns they both speak korean !! and that that's why dust wasn't speaking that much !) and they bond over pilsu's silliness (dust talks about how his papyrus also loved to cook etc etc, saejun notices that its in past tense but doesn't dig any deeper)

dust eventually starts to visit farmtale with horror frequently to exchange makguksu and ramyeon recipes with pilsu !!

dust is also relatively close with dorihye, anseung, and suggu who tend to remark that "the other saejuns dont really talk much" to which horror always chuckles

Marauders Fandom > "There is no canon !!" and other rhetorics

Guess who's back in their marauders phase after 2-3 years of being dormant lmao?? ((spoiler its me lol)). Anyways, a lot has changed since 2021 in this fandom so I just wanted to talk about the direction i think it's going.

I remember in 2020-21 the fandom started to boom in popularity on tiktok --> esp with the rise wolfstar + atyd. I remember people were so suprised with remus' characterization as 'rougher around the edges' instead of the 'soft boi' thing, and how that influenced the new wolfstar dynamic. [Just want to add that the atyd characterisation is much more complex than this and its one of my fave fics --> I'm more talking about the fandom at large's reaction to this)

And since fandom is incapable of having two nuanced and characters who are not stark opposites,, their roles were basically reversed and now Remus is the toxic dom alpha male and sirius is the cute girlyboy twink --- which um,,, the oc-ification is so real its embarrassing but whatever (omg don't even get me started on jegulus 💀)). I just assumed these would stay as headcanons. But now we have people saying, that 'we barely know anything abt the marauders in canon' or 'isn't the whole point of fandom to make shit up?' which i have sO many issues with so let me just try and compile my thoughts into dot points for the sake of coherency.

'we barely know anything abt the marauders in canon' ---> First of all, Remus, Sirius and Severus are fully fleshed out characters in the og series -- why do you think people would care enough to create an entire fandom based on their backstories if they were 2d flat characters in canon?? Like bffr. I saw a post on here (forgot who it was by, let me know if u know!) that said, 'I didn't cry over sirius' death in OotP just for ppl to say that we know nothing abt him in canon'. Like, its just mind-boggling to me lol.

'isn't the whole point of fandom to make shit up?' --> Ok y'all. For a fandom to work, there have to be some guidelines, some kind of source material, some point of reference so people can build upon it and make content. I think we can all agree on that. One reason why HP is such a popular place for fandom is the world-building and potential plots/storylines. I see some people argue that jk rowling was a shit writer anyways so might as well contradict everything she says. Now, I don't disagree with that point in particular, Jo is a pretty mediocre writer and a terrible person. HOWEVERrr, I'd argue that it is a lot more fascinating when people expand or work on the concepts in HP. JK Rowling has a lot of great ideas but executes them terribly -- I love when fic writes do this, which prolly explain why I love atyd as it is still very much canon compliant but executes themes on class, disability and queerness that jkr could barely do in subtext. This doesn''t mean I only think canon compliant fics are valid. That's not the case! I think as long as the charcterization is consistent to the character and the particular circumstances/world they're in, its fine! In fact, I love seeing how the same character would function if in a different place! I also love seeing explorations of the magic and magic systems in aus or fix it fics (or even canon compliant ones) that still fit in with the canonnical system that we know.

I guess what I'm trying to say I wish the marauders fandom explored the world and charcterizations more deeply instead of creating shallow oc-fied version of the characters that fit into whatever's trending -- like just write your own book or smth lol -- booktok will eat it up i promise.

Also, kinda related kinda not but um,,, why are we romanticising fascists -- like babe no evan rosier is not your babygirl he canonnoically tortured multiple ppl and became a death eater soo... not saying that I wouldn't want an exploration of his character or even a relationship with barty -- (who's not some cool dairk-haired edgelord but a actually a cowardly fascist murderer with blond hair -- yes the blond hair is important) -- I'd just want them to be portrayed as the not morally good people they are. Like,, if u want to oc-ify a character like pick someone whos not a death eater or has little info on them like dirk cresswell or frank longbottom,,, or ya know,, one of the MANY female characters in the fandom ((This fandom also has a problem with women and sapphic ships in general but that's a whole other issue lol).

I know this 'babygirlification' of death eaters doesn't mean to do this, but it also ends up watering down the themes of oppression, bigotry, etc and leaves us with not nearly as complex characters. Also one of the issues I had with the og HP world is that JK will introduce concepts like wizard racism and slavery and then just like,, not really do anything about it or just have half-arsed redemption arcs whilst not ever actually exploring the root of the issue. And now i feel like the fandom is following in those footsteps unfortunately.

Anyways, i've been rambling for too long so I'll just leave it here. Sorry if this came off as mean spirited in anyway,, I just have a lot of thoughts™ and my family is sick of hearing them lol. These opinions are not set in stone however so I'd love to hear your thoughts on this subject! At the end of the day this is fandom and we're supposed to have fun -- so yeah !! thanks for reading if you made it this far!

I love that so much, though I doubt child Sanji would have survived the fall if he did do that but I think the second option fits really well with either clown!Sanji or Redhair!Sanji. So that's the one I'm going to focus on but I will probably make a loved!Sanji out of this as well. Genius, anon, simply genius.

Sanji being born with little wings and antennae on his head. Judge immediately knows he's likely a failure as Sora holds her babies and sobs that they're all alive. Still everything is mostly the same except for Sanji's wings are just as big a target as his hands and his antenna are threatened often. Sora tells him the legends of Skypiea and sings him the lullabies and teaches him the language as well. When she dies, Sanji is given a tune dial of his mother singing a lullaby by a maid who keeps it hidden for him.

Sanji is thrown in the dungeon and escapes with the helmet on in the East Blue. He's just running like Reiju told him to and he wishes the wings he had were useful. That he wasn't weak. I'm going with Shanks and Benn finding Sanji first.

Shanks and Benn feel the fear and other feelings from some woods nearby so they go check it out and find the eight year old and take him to the ship where they get Sanji out of the helmet. Sanji's wings are hidden under the rags he was in but Shanks knows what he is. And he's headed to the grand line where this would be more the norm for everyone there than the East Blue. Benn reminds him he doesn't want kids on his boat but Shanks insists this is an exception.

Shanks explains his former crew's time in Skypiea and how they would be happy to get the boy back and Sanji says he doesn't have family there, his mother was the wife of Vinsmoke Judge and she hadn't been there for a while. Sanji doesn't know if he has anyone anymore because he's supposed to be dead and asks why they saved him. Shanks and Benn's hearts break a little at that and say it was the right thing to do.

They make it to jaya and then Skypiea. They find no one related to Sanji and the bugs are terrifying the poor kid. Like beyond normal fear of bugs. And the bugs are big but Sanji was freaking out at the small ones so they go back down and Shanks is holding Sanji while Benn holds him and the ship.

They head to Sabaody and stick a hat and coat on Sanji because they're not going to let home get taken as a slave. They roll up to Shakky's to get information and drinks and when Rayleigh rolls in I gotta imagine everyone but Shakky and Sanji are staring at each other in shock until Rayleigh laughs and says of course they followed in their footsteps and got himself a brat and Shanks mutters his agreement. Sanji keeps fidgeting with the hat and hates his antennae being covered after the helmet and Yasopp says when they're on the ship he can take it off. Rayleigh says he can take it off now and pulls Sanji's hat off making him and Shakky gasp. Shanks tells him off and gives Sanji the hat back.

Sanji grows up with the Redhaired Pirates who embrace what he is. Shanks will spend hours if Sanji lets him stroking the kid's wings. This Sanji never learns about Luffy or Usopp and he runs into them and the crew at Sabaody while chatting with Rayleigh and Shakky after all the shit at the auction house. Before they get pawpawd away. Sanji is smiling and chatting with them easily with his wings and antennae free which makes the crew ask him a bunch of questions about why he's not in Skypiea and how he knows Rayleigh.

"I'm the brat of Redhaired Pirates. I'm out gathering some information." Sanji answers with a grin.

"You know Shanks?!" Luffy yells excitedly.

"Wait, they let you go with them?" Usopp asks.

"They didn't have anywhere they could safely leave me with the whole being Skypiean thing." Sanji shrugs.

"Lame, he didn't let us go." Luffy whines as Sanji gives them a questioning look.

"That's Roger's old hat, Shanks gave it to Luffy. Usopp there is Yasopp's boy." Rayleigh tells him.

"Ah." Sanji says lighting a cigarette. "Mutiny it is then."

Rayleigh laughs and the Strawhats demand more information which Sanji doesn't give them. When he gets back to the crew he tells Shanks about what happened on Sabaody and the Redhaired crew goes into action faster than they ever have. They make it to Marineford just after the White Beard fleet.

"You're not going to commit mutiny after this." Shanks tells his crew as they step onto the island.

"Let's see how this goes and then we'll decide, you deadbeat." Roux chuckles.

"Don't miss a shot or you're off the crew too, Yasopp." Sanji tells him as the war begins.

soo I have quite a bit written out actually, but idk if it'll ever come to be ...? I think I actually made a post abt it a bit back. It's just one of those many many things I write in my downtime for fun that will prob never get finished. Anyways the concept revolves around werewolves because I love stories of protags having some deep secret they cannot reveal for fear of rejection or worse. In the story, Kaoru has been infected with lycanthropy after being attacked badly by a werewolf. He lies about this encounter to everyone, doctors and his brother included, as he genuinely believes he must have saw wrong. He was attacked at night when he couldn't see well, the animal seeming to be a wolf...but there aren't any wild wolves in Japan. So Kaoru believes it must have been something else. (side note idk how the disease spreads as of yet. Think either saliva in the bloodstream like rabies or it's a thing of if you get killed by a werewolf you come back as one not knowing you technically died...)

Soso Kaoru beings acting strange after this event. After weeks recovering physically, coming back home, his personality shifts unknowingly to himself. He becomes a lot more restless at night, much more snappy and rude, generally kinda acting like his brother more lol. He just seems to be losing his temper easier and being more aggressive and physical, even with Hikaru, who he also becomes more snappy with. Obviously he doesn't understand why he's acting like this, neither does anybody in the club.

Then the big thing happens...full moon baybeeee. Up to this point Kaoru would feel more awake/elevated heartbeat when looking at the moon, but when the full moon comes around, he feels fucking crazy. Like manic and uncontrollable and he starts to freak out a bit. However he sticks it out because the club is hosting a prom event like episode 2, so it's like, whatever, go home and sleep later.

Until he makes the mistake of forgetting to keep himself busy, which leads to him compulsively staring at the moon, and then he finds he can't look away, and well.

And the transformation thing sort of has him black out. In my head, I imagine the werewolves look like regular wolves, just a tad bigger with bigger paws that may be more human-like. Definitely makes him lose all cognitive ability, and by the time he snaps back to normal, he doesn't know where he is, his clothes are tattered, he's in so much pain, and there's blood, and he's like whaaat the fuck happened here...

He's able to hide these facts, not wanting anyone to know how he found himself when he woke up bc that shit cannot be good. quickly through talk he finds that morning that haruhi got hurt last night, so of course hikaru (who is doubly worried about his brother who disappeared for a chunk of the night) urges that the two of them along with the rest of the host club check up on haruhi (who is at home trying to tell them "im fine guys gooddd")

but like, ofc its the club so they knock the door down lmfao. and tho haruhi plays it cool, she is obviously a little shaken about whatever happened. she has some bandages but nothing awful.

turns out, as she explains, an animal attacked her last night (cue tamaki wailing) and she scared it off by blindly slashing a pocket knife at it ("WHY ARE YOU CARRYING SUCH A DANGEROUS WEAPON AROUND!?!? IF YOU NEED BODY GAURDS KYOYA CAN DO SOMETHING IM SURE-" "i use it to open packages senpai.")

kyoya of course takes the idea of a wild, vicious animal on school grounds very seriously, and so inquires on the appearance of the animal. haruhi pauses but admits it looked like a wolf. of course kyoya tells her that can't be right, it must have been a stray dog, but haruhi insists it did NOT look like a dog.

anyways, the club are in uproar about this, arguing back and forth about this wolf-not-wolf that nearly killed haruhi, and kaoru is silently watching from the back as a terrifying realization dawns on him. he remembered waking up with there being blood. namely, blood on his hands and under his nails, and a nasty cut he got on his cheek which he assumed he acquired by tripping and hitting something sharp. But if he pairs that with what haruhi says, it seems INSANE, but also...it would make sense. everything to this point would make sense.

and it terrifies him. it terrifies him more that hikaru swears up and down that he's going to "kill that filthy mutt" that hurt haruhi, and it terrifies him that kyoya says he's going to bring this up with school staff about increasing security. he wonders if he told them that it wasnt just a wolf, it was HIM, that if they would be merciful, or if they would still hate him. if hikaru would want him dead still. and the fact is, he HURT someone. his friend. this is his fault and he cant even blame his friends if they wanted to go as far as kill him if they found out, now that he is literally a monster that can kill people.

this, finally, is where the carriage thing comes in (took long enough!) the story functions as an elaborate ass metaphor, where kaoru's lycanthropy is a physical metaphor for his anxieties about the person who he's supposed to be, the harm he thinks he's causing other people, the harm he's causing his brother. he's running around, trying to find a cure while keeping everyone in the dark, praying no one finds out before he can fix this and fix himself. and if he cant, his only option is likely a grim one, but he CANT let anyone know, it's too risky, he has to do this by himself. his self-destroying obsession with keeping everyone safe and doing the right thing for his friends causes him to push them away from fear of hurting them or getting hurt himself. there's that part of him that's convinced he won't be able to solve this.

it basically drives him to his lowest point mentally and physically. he avoids all his friends so he can't hurt them with his uncontrollable temper or possible transformation, he's doing tons of shady shit in an effort to cure himself. he goes to nekozawa bc if anybody knows how to solve this fuckery its nekozawa and nekozawa treats him like a little lab experiment lmao bc of course he is enraptured by kaoru's newfound form and the physical changes it has made to his body (sharper canines, faster-growing hair, possibly an inch taller, newfound silver allergy). but of course as news of the wolf attack on campus spreads so do rumors, some "crazy" rumors about werewolves being real, of course rumors that are mocked by most of the kids as being nonsense scary stories, but this does NOT help kaoru's paranoia...

as for how this story ends WELL it's unfinished so you can guess (i have no ending.) i do want some part of hikaru obviously finding out at the worst possible moment, probably a very unfortunate circumstance where kaoru is unable to escape transformation on a full moon and hikaru is there. and he probably begs and pleads for hikaru to leave him alone but of course his brother won't do that, and obviously he is fucking stunned to see his brother turn into ?? a wolf. like erm *marvel voice that just happened..... and since kaoru has no control in this form, he tries to attack and even kill hikaru. hikaru would obviously not fight back, bc he doesn't want to hurt kaoru. that and he is stunned silent.

there are other elements of the story i want. for example, if i ever finish this thing, i do have ideas of ayanokoji being involved somehow. probably a witness to kaoru's odd behavior/actual transformation and thusly being able to use this against him cuz Fuck Da Host Club. or even try to kill him herself bc he's a fucking wolf dude idk. i also had this scene in my head with arai being involved bc the night kaoru attacks his brother he wakes up far as fuck away from tokyo with no memory except knowing A) hikaru was there and B) there is blood all over him he can only think of the worst possibilities so he kinda wanders in an unfamiliar back road in a fugue state until some lady almost accidentally hits him with a car and is like. who is this child covered in wounds and blood......and very sane thing to do she is like. hey do u need like. a lift. you look like ur gonna die. you have like 3 stab wounds. and kaoru is like. floor it chief. anyways turns out it's arai's mother ! woah. which is funny because after helping Kaoru and hanging out with him she admits she's like, "oh i helped you cuz you remind me of my son. you seem about his age" and kaoru is like oh ha ha that's nice of you....and then fuckin arai shows up a few hours later and kaoru is like "ohhhhhhhhhhh............................uhoh."

to which since kaoru doesnt have his phone on him arai offers to phone haruhi for him since he has her number and of course 5 minutes later the host club is at their location in a fucking helicopter or some shit bc ZOMG KAORUUU WE WERE SO WORRIED ABOUT YOUUUUU WHERE DID U GOOOO (hikaru withholding information)

it's an incredibly "fan fiction-y" story i admit. but that's the fun of it. it could get soooo dramatic too. cuz like yeah duhh hikaru wouldn't want to kill kaoru ofc not but OTHER people ? there's a guy who is a werewolf. umm. can't see that going over well. and the general attitude kaoru would hold and the way he attempts to figure everything out on his own. the day he and hikaru reunite after hikaru finds out the truth could go so many ways, from silence to yelling to crying to awkward laughing to kaoru just blankly asking what hikaru plans to do with him now, like he's a prisoner accepting his execution. sorry i am a fan of introducing trauma between the toxic codependent twins. and like the other members of the club? i can see people like tamaki being quick to try and help kaoru (despite what he did to haruhi) and haruhi being like "this may as well happen welcome to Ouran Fucking Highschool" but people like Mori or Kyoya may be more hesitant, pointing out kaoru, while not malicious, genuinely CANNOT control himself in his canine state and has shown multiple times that can and WILL kill people, including his friends, and that can't be ignored or brushed off. maybe they put a muzzle on him idfk. either way, it's also a great metaphor for stigma bc once his friends start finding out, they are obviously treating him differently. Even (or especially) hikaru. he's being treated like a different person now. it makes him feel more inhuman than ever. they only see this awful monster he can become now, he feels, and honestly, maybe they're right. it's not all of who he is, but it's a part of him, a part of him that has hurt two people he loves most, and so he can't help but judge himself based off that too.

9. What fic meant the most to you to write?

In 2023, I would definitely say the answer is Made in Magnolia just because of how THICC she is. I spent soo much time on that fic and poured so much of my love into it and it's actually the only fic I've really cried during the writing process of (bc I cried when I realized I had finished it). So I would definitely say that it meant the most to me :) and was the most fulfilling experience I've ever had writing fic !!!

13. What fic was the easiest to write?

The easiest fics are always the groupchat sexting ones because they only take me a couple of hours!! and I wrote THREE of them this year!! all of those were definitely the easiest :)

this question is harddd. but it doesn't say my BEST it says my favorite so honestly this is going to be a weird one but there's these two exchanges from MiM that I honestly love so much:

“Uh,” Calum says, trying to clear his mind of that. “Truffle Risotto.” Ashton’s eyelids flutter as he pulls the menu back to himself, holding the page three inches from his face. “What���s that?” “It’s like a creamy rice dish,” Calum replies, rubbing his hands against the tablecloth. “It’s good.”

& then later in the same chapter

He bobs his head for Ashton to follow and the two of them start the trek down to the beach. It’s close to the restaurant, not far, and soon Calum has to stop and bend over to take off his shoes so they don’t get too sandy. Ashton does the same. They pad their bare feet through soft, evening-damp sand for a few paces before Ashton says, “I don’t think I like Risotto.” Calum can’t help but snort, sending him a sideways glance. “No?” “No.” Ashton shakes his head. “It was mushy.”

it's kind of hard to explain WHY this is my favorite piece of dialogue but... I always forget about it and then I reread the fic and I'm like <3 aw wow <3 they're people <3 not every scene w/ them is some big be-all-end-all confession or conflict. sometimes they just talk abt what foods they like.

Superior and ps4 meet during the spidergeddon event :3 and ofc when ps4 first learns that superior is otto who's stolen his peters body it brings up a whole load of trauma </3 he even says like I know what you've done to your peter.. you're worse than my otto ever was :( and I was like GWAGHH...<-had been thinking abt them meeting before I found out they DID actually meet in the comics

Anyway there r definitely some ISSUES ! Superior has also worked quite hard to protect the spiders so far and he is trying to be a better person so hearing ps4 spidey, a peter parker, say that to him probably hurt a bit :( cuz like he KNOWWSS‼️‼️ it's just a reminder that his existence contradicts the person he wants to be and .. grughh..

BUT!!! After peter sees superior try so so hard to save them and be a good person (keyword try, he can be pretty morally dubious at times) he's like hey.. you're actually trying to be a hero, you're not that bad... and starts trusting him a lil more.. <3 and then there's THIS freaking thang

AND BWAAHHHH THEY CARE !! THEY THE ONLY ONES WHO GET IT FRR THEY CAN HELP EACH OTHER !!!! WAAHH,, its helping ps4 to see an otto octavius who HAS gone down a path of villainy like his otto actually come back from that and start trying to be a good guy again,, even going so far as to say superior reminds him of his otto .. which is like.. bwuh.. means superior is at least decently niceys to remind peter of his old mentor/father figure,,, And of course its helping superior to know that a peter parker believes in him and his efforts to be a hero <33 despite his existence being a product of a horrible act.. <33

In my mind I'm a little sillay <3 superior here isn't from the main timeline (actually canon) so I just stay silly with it and say that he does the whole spidergeddon thing then returns to his timeline without much time passing and continues to save the day in his own universe👍 so no consequences there </3 however since he's had more experience and tech (and some advice from ps4 peter :3) he's able to resolve the goblin nation thing without sacrificing himself and well yeah that's a lil selfish but let's ALSO just say superior's peter parkers consciousness does not reform from his memories so there's nobody to give the body back to </3

Anyway now superior has a life in his own universe with Anna maria and also he's a teacher at Horizon/ Horizon Uni ^_^ the whole teacher thing was an idea from my big brain superior spidey mutual @ztu2455 who has such awesome ideas <3 Tu if u see this I BEG of u to share and post ur ideas so I can rb :3 they r so awesome‼️<3333

Anyway he's doin pretty good all things considered :3 this is the part where I just get silly with it. He still has a dimension hopper thingamajig from spidergeddon and uses it to visit e-1048 every now and then :3 !! 💕 which slowly becomes a regular thing and he learns more abt peters world and meets miles and ganke anddd sometimes he brings Anna maria along maybe :3 FOUND FAMYY NOWWW!!! He has some CHOICE words for jjj (like in the games where people would call in to his podcast to be like UHMM ACTUALLY HE SAVED US !!!") yeah he would defend the 1048 spideys with his life <3

Miles would definitely be pretty wary of him at first but he trusts peters judgement and gets to know superior and maaan superior cares so much abt him hes gonna be one of those really mother hen uncle figures and give miles soo much advice on how to fight and stay safe and strategise and <3333 he would make GADGETS for them too I bet <3

And and he would looove ganke because.. he gets it.. a young genius surrounded by super people but he himself doesn't have powers.. something something metaphor .. but he's so loved and supported and appreciated by everyone in his life... superior would be OVERJOYED to see that ‼️ He would give Ganke some guidance for his tech and coding stuff (tho he doesn't need that much and learns pretty quickly) and he'd praise ganke and the spiders soo much cuz he wants to be the father figure he never had.. especially to all these people who believe in him and appreciate him for who he is ... grughaghhhh..

WE 100%ed EO3HD!!

(Technically I had last month, but you know… Overlord squid…. I’m still salty abt it.) As planned I’m going to scream about my guild and builds. So very long post.

You’d think since I used the same exact party as I did on my ds that maybe this post would be shorter. WRONG. I have OPTIMIZED THEM AND ADDED NEW MEMBERS. Switch Ragnarok>>> DS Ragnarok. On switch they do a lot more damage, and definitely have more tricks up their sleeves.

Mainly, I noticed wolf howl did crazy numbers and that each member, save Hana could cast an ailment. Then… caved in and tried a wildling for the first time and added a few other members. Which I’ll explain as we go on.

Anyway guild rambles GO!!

Alope

This run Alope gets the shield!! Sorry Hana, Alope needs the stats more than you!!

My thoughts on her are kinda the same. Early game she wasn’t as good as I remembered on ds… She would suck, but when everyone else was struggling she’d land a confusion or take a hit… OR SOMETHING!! She came in clutch. Always!! Even if it was the craziest shit!!

She’s got a few more play styles besides b.vow+ charge +hit. Dropped wild swings, and some points in otori.

Instead, I’ve maxed crushing blow, she’s almost guaranteed to land confusion on something in battle if she doesn’t kill it before then. Paired with Hana’s WOLF HOWL makes her do numbers!! Also maxed freezing blow, I think she does 2k more against certain bosses compared to her ds counter part.

She’s subbed ninja, and I used it to make her a sort of phys dodge tank + double damage. Which I think I did on ds, but I really went into it the dodge tank this time. She’ll spawn DuAlope (her clone) and use otori on her, while DuAlope uses flight… Kinda makes the enemies with multihits not a problem… Also decided to also get her the reflexes skill. So TP regen WOOOOO.

Thinking of retiring her for the luck boost, but part of my strat with her is that she’s real slow. If her AGI is over 80 she’ll be crazy fast. So Idk.

Ignis

I got the parry skills early for him. AMAZING DECISION. Second stratum I had a rough patch with everyone except him… and he covered for them while they made up for their mistakes. AND HE PARRIED A WHOLE LOT…

I skipped a few skills i got him on DS (Vigilance, Shrug off) to max his defense ones and get farmer skills. (Persistence at a higher lvl, safe stroll, to market, lullaby)

He still makes exploration so easy for me, and can still take that nap that lets me get a free turn against abyssal god. He’s really good, but… I’ve notice he does nothing a lot more on my switch. Alope can soak most physical damage, Hana can predict a lot of the elementals, and I have a whole other hoplite I’ll get into later.

I don’t use him as much as I should 😭

Tank

Mr. I’m the lowest level early game to Mr. first to hit level 99 🤪

His skill tree was/ always IS SOO MESSED UP the first half the game. Had to rest him, thought I ruined him. NOPE. He’s good!! The best even.

He’s what you expect, he’s an arbalist gladiator. He kinda mows everything down. The discovery of wolf howl + ailement changed his numbers a LOT. He can almost two shot superbosses.

I invested points in smoke bomb so he can land blind… Fun to do on turns where it’s too risky to attack or b.vow.

Hana

All the big numbers? They are thanks to HER AND THE WILDLING I USE.

Early game, Hana was. Well, Hana. She actually fumbled a bit more than her ds counterpart. (Missed a lot more). As she leveled up, she evened out .

Hana has… Quite a lot of points to spare. Basically after level 70 she just has like 30 skill points to kill. Initially, I was against getting the prophecies (I mean I have two hoplites). So I invested it in wolf howl bc I saw it increased attack by a lot when an enemy was ailed.

So now Hana has like. 4+ play styles. Old reliable elementals with limit scrolls, Meteor, Wolf howler, and… I caved in and got the prophecies (Volt and ice for now, but plan to retire her so she can get fire too). I realized with her and Alope I could block all physicals and elementals… and I would be able hit harder without a hoplite.

She gets to mix and match so much now, and she caters to all the team offense, defense, support… she’s kinda the glue…!! More so than on ds!

Enid

Okay, Enid is one that hasn’t changed much. I had tried to mix attack monk skills in their tree. Bc attack monks are good and I wanted to spice up the guild. But uhm it was not Alope and Tank level good. (To cut them slack, Alope is only good bc there are two of her and her defense is higher. Tank? Sorry Arbalists are s tier… Comparing them isn’t fair.) Enid would get in Alope’s way a lot, which is kinda funny to imagine.

So at the half way point, we swapped Enid back to his natural state. The over powered speedy monk sovereign. Realistically, it makes sense given their character arc I had planned…

Only difference I can think of is… I finally see the use in full heal. Regular healing when Alope regularly sheds 846 hp? NO. Full heal her, it costs less!! (EO1 taught me that) Also, Enid has… quite a lot of skill points to spare. Which I’d put into idk Monarch March, or Guard order. But I… don’t know. I feel bad for leaving their fist skills behind. I might invest in Kikoken for the ailment… and fist mastery if i retire them.

Okay lighting round:

These 4 members I used when I didn’t feel like dealing with certain bosses with my main party. Their skills were junk at the time. (Anemone first try, Alraune first try, Kraken first try too.)

Caspian: The legendary hoplite ninja. Not to clone herself, but to dodge tank the hell out of everything and infinite regen tp. I think I used her for all first the super boss fights on switch, save for Abyssal God. She kinda makes Ignis look bad, Ignis can take more hits than her, but like. It doesn’t matter. She’s not getting hit!! She does what Alope does, but deals less damage. Decided to just make Alope do the work, or have these two work together. (They are unstoppable)

Ryouta: I really wanted to try attack monk. So I made him. HE’S VERY GOOD. Mainly used him when Alope and Tank were working on 9 smashes and Front Mortar. He did wonders against the 3 bosses listed above. But once Alope and Tank got their skills, I kinda benched him. Will feed him strength books and will see how long that lasts tho!! He’s not the 3 play style type guy like the rest, but hey! Being simple is in character for him!!

Ezra: Double action zodiac. Used him mainly bc Anemone… Also I wanted to use him to see if he could compare to Hana. But Uh. I don’t know what I was expecting BAHAHA. He’s still really good, just not against Elder, Kraken, or Abyssal God.

Izem: MY PRIDE AND JOY… DO YOU SEE HIS ATTACK??? THAT IS FROM COUNTLESS SLAUGHTERS OF THE ABYSSAL GOD WITH THE MAIN GUILD…! He hits very hard now, and I hardly use him compared to the ds version of his build. I used him against Kraken (5 ringed sword) Anemone (warriors might). But he’s so frail you need a hoplite staring him dead in the eye. I’ll work on it. I need one more AG kill to max his weapon and I’m thinking of taking him to do it with the guild.

TBH… I didn’t like wildlings before her. The class’s designs rubbed me the wrong way. (No black people until the class is offense, or rooted in the wild 😟 and they are almost always naked I just make black EO ocs now *sigh*) They’re clunky early game… I can’t imagine using one a whole run tbh. I only started actually using her post game. I saw a friend chose another class portrait for their wildling and put a spin on it… So. Now we got a clown wildling!

I didn’t think I’d like her, but after giving her some personality and seeing her ailments land so often… I decided to add her in Ignis’s place more often. Her debuffs (Primal drums, ailments, eagle eye) ABSOLUTE GAME CHANGER… She and Hana like quadruple the guild’s attack.

I’m adjusting the Abyssal god team to fit her on it… If she does her magic with Hana… Alope and Tank’s attacks reach 5 digits. Every other fight is so short I can’t even meet the circumstances to land the 5 digits…

Sometimes she misses or whatever, but I forgive her. She’s great.

Playing HD made me pay more attention to the surroundings and enemy designs… Also gave me access to a lot more scenarios and characters for my guild… 🥹 Sometimes were as cool as my first times!! hello I seek help pls. my friend used to never care about Heartstopper but now, she’s obsessed. Like sending Nick and Charlie videos daily in the group chat and never talking about anything else. She literally said she planning on buying all AO books just for decoration and that she doesn’t plan on reading them. She literally never even cared about it but now it’s her entire personality. I confronted her about it and she immediately started lying and saying that she never said she didn’t want to read the books and just use them for decoration etc. like today she sent me a voicemail asking if (tw) Charlie killed himself in solitaire because she saw it in some kind of fake video on TikTok. She literally said she started crying and having a panic attack. A panic attack because she saw one post saying he committed. Like wtf. She also posts TikToks about Kit Conner and she tells everyone she loves him so much and that she has a crush on him etc. like, yesterday she sent me a video saying she’d sell us for Nick. (Ik it’s a joke but it’s not funny for me anymore) my friends agree with me but they don’t talk with her about it and now I’m alone against her.

Soo kind of a fake fan is what i got from here... If everyone else agrees w you try to convince them to help you change her mind! Like, have a polite conversation explaining what's wrong with what she says n why it bothers you, like her lying about not wanting to read the books. If you're able to convince the others to help you, good! They agree w you after all. but if they dont wanna help you you probs have to say it yourself.

If ur not able to make her stop obsessing over it, then try to ignore her is what id suggest??? I dont rlly know how to explain it but if shes telling everyone abt it if you ignored her maybe she'd stop? Maybe it would be kinda mean now that i think abt it but if shes being THAT annoying... idk if it makes sense sorry

but yea id recommend talking to her yourself first and if you cant do anything else make her understand that pretending to like it is not going to make her any of a better person
