You ever just see people talk about the Percy Jackson books and know somewhere, deep in your heart, that none of these people have understood that this is a series made for middle schoolers. And that fandom will very frequently lie to them like, all the time. No, that character probably isn’t ooc, you’re just thinking of what the fandom turned them into. No, this book isn’t a horrible stain next to the others before it, literally all of them were like this. It’s Percy Jackson. It’s cheesy and occasionally makes a very questionable writing decision.

Honestly though I think it’s really a bad sign when I look at Shin Tsukimi and literally feel like he’s a self insert 😩

Ray's After Ending is so funny because for a good chunk of it, most of the RFA members are knocked out by V's sleeping gas (Saeran is immune, Saeyoung isn't present bc he was kidnapped by his agency under his father's orders and MC wakes up in like an hour) but the game has a call feature where you can call the characters and it would be a waste if you couldn't use it bc the characters were unavailable so instead they have other people pick up the call (Jumin's driver picks up Jumin's phone, Jumin's father picks up Zen's phone, Yoosung's friends and mom pick up Yoosung's phone and Jaehee's coworkers pick up Jaehee's phone) and we do get to learn about the characters from outsider's point of view but it's so funny to me that these people are visiting their loved ones and suddenly the phone rings and they decide to just. answer it. and start talking to this stranger they've never met

Jumin was raised to please people in a business capacity#and the he cares about the RFA so yea it makes sense. im sure he has gifts sent out to companies his works with#and I'm sure if the other members had a good relationship with their parents hed do the same with them#but in the RFA Yoosung and I guess V are the only ones with parents they talk to#idk if he sends a gift to V's father tho bc we never talk to him#but man. while i know hed do it with the other members if he could just the fact he does it with Yoosung is sweet#and it makes the part in Seven's route where he calls Yoosung's mom about her son's dilemma make sense to me bc they do talk once in a whil#so its not too out of the blue when he does it i guess#but man can we talk about how awesome Jaehee is? bc her coworker that picks up her phone spends every call gushing about her#like we knew she's great at her job but man hearing her coworker talk about her fills me with such love and admiration#and she's apparently really loved by the other assistants too like they all gush about her#jaehee is the best character in the game im not joking around#they wanna get close to her but bc she's their boss it's hard T_T#and the one that picks up the phone wishes Jaehee knows she was the one that stood with her overnight when she wakes#Yuni (the assistant you're talking to) says she would of quit the job had it not been for her#LIKE!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAA!!!!#it was a nice way to use the call feature during the first two days of the characters not being awake to answer#and even though this is supposed to be the last thing you play before completing the whole game#you still learn something new about the characters you've known since day 1

I’m a sucker for musical parallels and referencing an old song in a new song but I feel like this TTPD lead up is not just a “this is how I used to feel and now I’m using those themes to show how I feel now” and more of a “those feelings were never real and actually those love songs that were so beautiful before are actually about a bad relationship and full of red flags” cuz it’s honestly ruining my feelings on those old songs. Like Taylor’s whole thing is letting us interrupt the songs and apply them to our own lives and now it’s like even she is encouraging us to only see them through the lens of her most recent breakup and it really sucks tbh

Wtf is my fascination with this little freak.... Hes just a dude but I'm so intrigued, I'm tired
#miranda talking shit#Its been two years but i still dont understand him so im guessing thats why#Tbf we didnt become closer until a year ago or something so yeah. But since day one i just felt like it was something with him and now im#Frustrated. Hes literally just a dude. Yet my brain find him so fascinating. I know i in general am very interested in people i like#But this guy man... I think it might be because i can understand him and thus cant predict him? My brain does love a mystery.#I mean i had an fairly intense period of 3-6 months where i was super fascinated by fabian. I still kinda am but now i think#I understand how he works over all so i do not feel the intense need to ask him all kinds of things and analyze? Bc now i have an decent#Idea of how he works. Meanwhile this little freak is almost the opposite of me in everything and i just want to study him. I think in a way#He reminds me of myself at least in the way of 'dealing' with mental problems etc. Or rather my past self. So i want to challenge him to do#It differently. I dont think i have an savior conplex or something when it comes to him bc i do basically not... Tell him to change?#I dont think i could change him. So thats not what my fascination comes from... But holy shit i just want to talk with him about everything#Also probably why i like him that he will answer any questions i ask. it doesn't take wade long to notice that your attentions no longer on the movie, and he looks down at you, catching you as you ogle his arms.
"you good, pretty girl?" he asks, squeezing your thigh softly, causing his muscles and veins to bulge slightly. you shake your head, trying to stop the blush thats creeping onto your face.
wade laughs softly, before flexing his arms, your jaw almost dropping as you watch his skin stretch to accomodate his muscles, his bicep inches away from your face.
"y'lookin' at my muscles, baby?" he teases, flexing his muscles again, wiggling his eyebrows at you playfully. you giggle, turning your head into his arm in slight embarrassment.
he tuts, cooing at you softly, "aw, baby, goin' all shy on me now? y'can look at 'em all you want, doll-face, they're yours."
you grin against his arm, right hand coming down to tangle your fingers between his as they continue drumming against your thigh. your other hand grips around his forearm softly, and you pull your face from wade's arm, peering up at him shyly.
"whats up, princess?" he asks, looking down at you with a fond smile on his face, eyes soft and dimples dipping on his cheeks.
you shake your head against his arm, too shy to ask the question, though you're sure he'll say yes. you fiddle with his fingers in your lap, taking a deep breathe.
"..wanna bite your bicep.." you mumble, almost unintelligibly if it weren't for yours and wade's proximity.
you hear the low chuckle ripple through wade, and turn your head deeper into his arm, cheeks burning red as you whine in in half annoyance, half embarrassment.
he tuts, untangled your fingers from his and bringing a hand up to softly stroke your hair, prying your face from its place on his shoulder.
"go on then, hotstuff," he smirks down at you, nodding towards his arm as he easily bulges the muscle.
you look up at him, unsure, before grabbing onto his forearm, holding him still, and sinking your teeth into the muscle, eliciting a soft hiss from wade's lips. you just grin, teeth denting into his arm as you look up at him, his hand still stroking through your hair.
he smiles at you, a mixture of fondness and bewilderment, "fuck, baby, all you had to do was ask." he says through gritted teeth, pulling softly on your hair as you sink your teeth harder into his skin.
