@satoruly - miri is my longest friend on here. she knows me, she gets me and i honestly have never had a healthier friendship than with her. she is very well spoken, she taught me a lot about lots of different things, she offers me honest advice and is always so supportive of me. she is the best writer around, she is so so fun to talk to, she is very understanding and openminded. miri is my soulmate and i feel the safest with her. i enjoy listening to her long voice memos like it's a podcast, i enjoy hearing her talk about literally anything she is interested in. she has good tv show recommendations and i am so proud of her for everything and i will support her forever and always. it's hard for me to put emotions to words, but miri is my best friend and i am beyond thankful to know her in this lifetime.

Below the cut because I do be ramblin' (: They're not really in any particular order, I just love them all for different reasons.

1) If We Knew Anything At All

This one was a hell ship prompted by a list that Topsy shared with a bunch of us and I had a brainwyrm, then ended up crying while I wrote the end of it. Quite possibly one of my favorite ever pieces. This one is both the inevitable end to my fic universe and something completely outside time. How did I manage this? Via Sheogorath's voicing. I don't think it gets more unreliable than that.

2) Metempsychosis

A very dear friend and fantastic teammate I met through Skywind sent me this prompt and it gave me such an excellent challenge not only to flex on weird god voice stuff again, but also to bust out some spoken word poetry tricks. I did end up recording myself reading this one too and it felt like old times. I loved all the layers of references I shoved into 1,000 words. It is also my first Morrowfic. And also one that reminded me what I am capable of even more strongly than some of my other projects did. 🥰

3) Serpens Caput

This one is newer, yes BUT OH MY GODS what a flex it was. ANOTHER Morrowfic but it's set in Ceth's fic universe featuring not only major character death but the mindset of a villain in his final moments. And we get to see Danger!Josh through his eyes. It was WEIRD. WEIRD WEIRD but so much fun. I don't think I've yelled so much about a fic whilst writing before. Ceth threw me this prompt, but I don't think was expecting this to end up...being this way (: Borrowed the description of Teldryn and Nerevar from her universe and just RAN WITH IT.

4) Little Dragon

This was written as part of my cute, happy LDB!Athis polycule AU where nothing is quite as horrifically messy as my main fic universe. It is a different kind of catharsis to write, often fun and humorous and a flex in that direction, since I didn't know what i was capable of—I always write pining and heartbreak lol. This came about as part of a fic writer's duel with AU (judged by Poly) which was honestly one of the coolest fandom experiences I've ever been in. It has become its own thing now with multiple other stories and I've been in yet another fandom duel since then. So it's all cute fuzzy feelings and happy memories and I love it to bits.

and last but certainly not least:

5) The World on Our Shoulders

My longfic which throws characters into extremely tough situations, handles horribly difficult themes and topics, shows people being messy and still finds ways to show it all with grace. It's what got me out of my multi-year writing slump and truly, truly brought me back to myself. So yes maybe some of the characters have some of my irl nonsense. Some scenes are far too relatable and it's a little scary sometimes how horrible that is, but it's a different kind of Catharsis. I love also the support its gotten so far for its specific type of storytelling structure as well as all the weird details that sprawl into other stories (Like my honorable mention written for Para, Recurse) and sequels and spin offs. It's been a great joy to be writing this and it's continued to inspire me. From draft one, which I wrote in challenge mode, posting every day this last February to now, where I am mid-ground-up-edit, I love this project to bits and will do all I can to see it through to the end. I see how much I can accomplish in this project. I see what can be done with common tropes and themes and even Fic in general. It's unalienated labor that I do for the sheer hell of it because I can and it's mine and I don't have to follow The Rules. There's something beautiful about that. It's one reason I get up at the crack of dawn every day -- to write for the sake of writing. Out of spite sometimes for all the ways the world tries to crush this kind of self expression out of us. This is my gem of a project. And I am proud of it and how far I've come since I started it. (:

It's the last week of September which means the last week of Su!c!de Awareness and Prevention Month (you should always be mindful even if it's not September but it's still rad there's a month dedicated to it).

I don't talk about it much myself cuz it's pretty personal, but as someone who's attempted a few times I like to imagine I have a decent enough reason to be loud and obnoxious about it :) especially when talking about reasons that I'm happy I didn't end up completing.

For example I never would've seen Luffy unlock Gear 5 😩❤️ I never would've seen Sabo again, or watched the Jurassic World Trilogy. I love those movies so much.

I never would've met my friend M, who is now my irl best friend and possibly the closest friend I've ever had before. She had such a monumental impact on me, I even discovered my career thanks to her encouragement.

I also never would've met some of my closest fandom friends like Kel ❤️ my writing never would have gotten to the level it's at now ❤️ I never would have met my roommate who's definitely part of my found family ❤️ I never would have been able to adopt my little Kotatsu, and who knows where she'd be if I hadn't taken her home?

I never would have gotten the chance to get so many tattoos, and I intend to get many more, so I can't be dying yet either 💪

I'm exhausted and the world is kind of a mess, but I'm not entirely upset I continuously failed to delete myself from the game before it had even gotten good; and I foolishly still have hope that it'll get better. I think I'm too jaded and stubborn to think otherwise anymore. Shit sucks, but one time when I was at the store this random older guy gave me a rose just because (he gave them to everyone in line). And my cat makes squeaky sounds when she yawns. And there's this stray cat I call Bikepath who always comes up to say hi to me when I go on walks. And it rained last Monday. And it's almost Halloween. And I bought myself donuts the other day. And my boss says I was born to be a baker. And my other boss says I make really pretty cupcakes. And I got my roommate the coolest gifts for Christmas and can't wait to see his face when he opens them. And the One Piece Live Action is INCREDIBLE. And Sabo will be showing back up in the anime soon. And I just got a new laptop which has been helping me write more. And Kel bought me my first ever Pokémon game. And coffee is pretty damn delicious. And I saw the chunkier honey bee in the actual world sitting on a sunflower the other day. And I get to see my cat when I get home from work. And I bake cookies and cakes for a living. And I've been self funding tons of Sabo themed enamel pins lately and I need all of them finished and in my hands. And did I mention Sabo? Oh yeah and Dragon too. And One Republic put out a 2023 version of Counting Stars that fucking kills. And the band Citizen Soldier exists.

Things are okay I guess.

sure! i'll put everything under a cut because i'm sure i'll ramble. thank you for asking!

i went to both belmont day 2 and newark so i'll split them up like that. happy to answer questions about anything i didn't get into here!

new york day 2:

had soundcheck for this day. i don't remember what time we got there but we never planned on queueing early or trying to get barricade so i think we got there around 2:30p? getting our wristbands and vip packages was super easy and organized. seemed to have missed out on all the drama (i guess there were some fights??) but saw a few people having full-on meltdowns. one girl was screaming and crying at staff but i'm not sure why -- i think it had something to do with the vip merch line. no idea. don't treat people like this regardless of the reason.

got inside the venue and hopped in the merch line. bought a picket and the hoodie. got in our grouped soundcheck sections. more people fighting about "cutting in lines." dumb if you ask me but whatever. again, don't yell at venue staff about this shit i worked in a venue and i promise they do not care, they will kick you out.

soundcheck was great! we hung back around the sound booth and had a great view and plenty of room to just exist in the air conditioning. yoongi is so tiny irl like that is just a little grandpa i love him so much. p sure soundcheck setlist is the same but he did people, people pt 2, and sdl.

the show was amazing!! i managed to avoid all setlist spoilers so imagine my shock when that was the show :') some parts were hard to see because the stage depressed at some points and you can't see it from further back on the floor. i think the only song i would've wanted to see that he didn't do is what do you think but overall 10/10.

newark:

we had a suite for this show but saw on twitter that it was a shitshow for vip people. lots of people got kicked out for alcohol/straight up starting fist fights. got in the vip line when doors opened at 6:30 and got talking to a woman who worked at the venue and she said ppl were screaming at her and crying when they were sold out of the merch they wanted. entitled scumbag behavior i am begging y'all to act better. embarrassing and anyone who did this should be ashamed of themselves but i know they won't be.

lines were super long and even slower so the show got delayed by about 25 mins. didn't get into our suite until just after 8. met some really lovely tumblr people!! grabbed a bite to eat and got to our seats.

show was the same setlist-wise but i think he definitely had more energy (you could tell he was still not feeling great in new york) and the crowd felt more into it, too. apparently jimin's suite wasn't very far from ours and it would've been super cool to see them do tony montana but oh well. loved seeing everything i missed from being on the floor.

general thoughts:

really, really glad i went. super proud of yoongi for doing this and i think he's just the coolest person ever. he's an incredible performer and the shows were amazing. loved his lil emotional support water bottle he kept a grip on in new york <3 also thank you yoongi for the ddaeng crumb <3

if you're going to any of the future dates i promise you will have an incredible time. stress might be a lil high but pls be nice to venue/event staff and the people around you. no sense in paying all this money to be miserable and mean and make yourself have a bad time.

being creative on the internet as an outlet is a topic that i am passionate about & i have so much to say.. so i'll put it here.. keep reading if you want to, but its just a history of me and my connection to the internet as a whole, may crosspost this later lol ヾ(￣▽￣) \

ever since i was a little girl, i used the internet to express myself.. dress up games to tumblr, all of it, was used as an outlet. my earliest memory was playing dressup doll games on the computer & watching clips of lucky star in 240p quality while listening to vocaloid in my living room as a small small child, of course, my mom was cooking dinner during all of this, so i can smell dinner when i think of that memory.. germany, 8 pm, shes making banana pudding & tuna sandwiches for me and her while my dad is working.. its such a sweet thing to think of now that i come to think about it..♪(´▽｀) way before i discovered the bitterness of the world, the world to me was just schnuffel bunny & vocaloid..

i never had many friends growing up. i had maybe three actual friends IRL, i was severely bullied before going on to become homeschooled from third grade all the way up to highschool, which i went on to do online schooling for that aswell because quite frankly, i was terrified of leaving my house due to my increasing social anxiety along with quarantine happening about ~2 years into my school life. anyways, thats enough backstory, back to my main point.

anywho, i've been expressing myself online for a LONG time as you can tell, i first began uploading my animations and artwork to youtube in 2016..? and i went on to upload my music to soundcloud in 2018. i made a lot of online friends, and even had a partner who i met online which lasted around 4 years. which doesnt sound impressive until i tell you, we began dating in MIDDLE SCHOOL! we dated all the way until.. i was almost 16? lol..

the internet was my refuge and escape from various traumas that had happened to me over the course of the past few years, traumas i was too scared to go to therapy or even open up for, so i'd express my pain on anonymous accounts and abandon them later on. i have countless deviantart accounts that i used purely for vent art and nothing else, that i would later abandon once i realized people could probably tell it was me.

darkness aside, i have many good memories involving uploading my work online aswell, from my various soundcloud aliases to my various artist aliases, one of which would become extremely successful due to my original characters when i was 14, i later abandoned this alias for safety reasons that i won't get into here.. along with all of the fanfiction i read and wrote when i was 12.. so.. much.. fanfiction.. specifically bandom fanfiction, do you all remember bandom?? bandom was a nice time on the internet, we were all just having so much fun on those "___ is ____'s song" and "bandomconfessions" accounts.. no fear of judgement or anything, we could just write stories where we dated our favorite band member and others thought it was the coolest thing to ever grace this planet..

i feel like, without the internet i wouldnt be who i am today, okay, i will admit, i went through some edgy phases to try to fit in with the cishet white kids online since.. being me online was hard! i had to participate in edginess or else run the risk of being called heinous.. heinous things. i was a huge leafyishere fan (now that i think about it.. ew!) and frequented boards of 4chan that i'd never frequent now that i'm older and you know.. have a soul that isnt as dark as the void?

i feel like. . . . if i didnt have the internet at the age i did, i wouldnt had discovered stuff that was lifechanging to me, for example GTBSG was just purely by chance, 10 year old me poking around on soundcloud, youtube, tumblr and twitter, just looking for something, anything new to stimulate my little senses.. and i found it! that group literally and figuratively changed my life in the best sense possible. i feel like i found my calling through their music.

Would you ever become friends friends with people here. I find Tumblr friendships so weird because I know so much of them and also nothing at all. But like I meet amazing people here and it just stays here and sometimes I wish we could exchange details and go beyond the anonymity of Tumblr.

Oh 100% I would transition a friendship with a mutual beyond Tumblr, as long as the person is comfortable with doing that.

Some of the coolest people in my life I met online and then we transitioned to like other environments. One of my absolute best friends, @dutchgrandprix (follow her for amazing F1 content) and I, met on twitter over a decade ago and now we talk almost every single day. She is such an integral part of my day to day that I can't imagine life without her.

Or take @cassianandfenrysaremyboyos, we met here I think... three or four years ago? It was a fandom friendship and eventually we started talking elsewhere and started sharing more interests and supporting the other one. Now she is such a bright presence in my life, I can’t wait to see her again and go to dinner and drop tons of books at her doorstep.. and it all started here, fangirling about Moriel (obligatory mention to the #MorielRaft).

So yes, I understand that online friendships exist in this weird sort of non-space, where you share a lot that you don't necessarily share with people irl, but somehow you don't know their basic stuff like if they have a pet or the go to coffee order (latte with almond milk, no sugar or you know.. matcha). I think that the progression out of Tumblr comes naturally. There are some people here that I'm like man I wish we could hang out irl because I know we'd just vibe even more.

But we also have to respect if the other person wants to keep it here and that doesn't mean that it is less real or less fun or deep. Tumblr offers us the possibility to create connections without many of the hurdles that friendships face in reality and this is also a valuable way of interacting with people and creating longlasting connections, even if your only mode of communication is through DMs or Asks.

So give it time and don't forget to value things in their own context and their own environment. Not because you can't like their instagram pictures and go out for coffee doesn't mean you can't also bond online over an amazing story and share things that can only be shared in distance-closeness that Tumblr provides.

There is nothing in this world that Steve Harrington cares about more than the little girl with his curls and your eyes. From the moment he saw her, stretching her tiny fingers out and yawning with her tiny, pink mouth, he’s been whipped, completely wrapped around her finger.

Daisy Harrington, now three years old, still has her father whipped.

“Daddy! Daddy, I’m ready for my hair!” Daisy toddles out of the bathroom and into the bedroom, carrying a small pink brush and two purple ponytail holders. Steve smiles, sitting down on the edge of the bed, holding out his hands and wiggling his fingers. Daisy giggles, running to him, stopping in front of him and turning. She hands the brush over her shoulder, and Steve takes it and the ponytail holders, setting them on his knee.

“What are we thinking today?” Steve asks, carefully brushing through her wild waves, gathering her long hair in his hands. He leans over, craning his head to meet Daisy’s eyes. “French? Dutch?”

“Do the pretty one, daddy,” Daisy says, her tiny brows furrowing, lips pursing. She looks so much like you when she scrunches her face like that, Steve can’t help but laugh, his chest swelling with affection for the little creature in front of him and the woman who helped bring said creature into the world.

“You talking crap about my braids?” Steve asks, and Daisy giggles. “They’re all pretty, Daze.”

“The prettiest one!”

Steve rolls his eyes, setting the brush down. He separates Daisy’s hair into two, braiding it back and tying it off, tucking in all the stray hairs just as Daisy likes. When he’s finished, he taps her on the shoulders, and Daisy spins, a goofy smile on her lips.

“Pretty?” She asks, arching her dark brows. Steve reaches out, tapping her on the nose.

“Prettiest girl I’ve ever seen,” he says. He stands, picking Daisy up and swinging her around, her screeched laughter echoing loud, and tucks her against his side. She winds her little arms around his neck, and moves her sticky fingers into his hair, twirling the strands around her fingers.

“Daddy, can we braid your hair?” She asks. “Your’e not pretty, like me, without them.”

Steve snorts a laugh, carrying Daisy out of the bedroom and down the hall.

“I’m not pretty?” He asks. Daisy purses her lips, considering.

“You are pretty,” she says. “Not as pretty as me. Or momma.”

Steve shifts her in his arms, and lifts her up, tossing lightly, earning a crazed giggle from the irl in his arms.

“No one is as pretty as you! Or your momma!” He says, tossing Daisy up and catching her, her laughter filling the living room. “The prettiest, smartest, coolest girls I’ve ever met.”

“Cooler than you?” Daisy asks. Steve snorts, rolling his eyes.

“You’ve been listening to Aunt Robin, yeah?”

“Aunt Robin is the smartest lady in the world,” Daisy says, nodding. As if on cue, the front door opens, and Robin steps in. She hasn’t knocked in at least four years, and neither you nor Steve has rung her doorbell in the same amount of time.

“Auntie Robin!” Daisy squeals, squirming in Steve’s arms. He lets her down, and she bolts into Robin’s waiting hug. Robin hoists her up, spinning her around.

“Ahhh, there she is! My favorite niece!”

Daisy giggles, tapping Robin’s cheeks, and says, “Did you bring pistachios?”

Robin meets Steve’s gaze, and the two burst into laughter, Robin rolling her eyes and letting Daisy down. She digs into her purse, pulling out a ziplock baggie of pistachios, handing it to Daisy who takes it and saunters over to the couch, pulling herself up onto it and digging into her snack.

“I don’t think I’ll ever understand the pistachio obsession,” Steve says. “Which, you created. Thanks for that.”

Robin grins. “Add that to the list of things you’ll never understand. Just wait until she starts dating.”

Steve narrows his eyes, and says, “Don’t even talk about that.”

Robin heads over to the couch, dropping down beside Daisy.

“It’s true,” she says. “Our little genius is gonna be unstoppable out there.”

Daisy, sensing the conversation is about her, moves and settles in Steve’s laps, her pistachios in her lap. She reaches into the bag and stretches a hand up, a grubby handful of pistachios in her fingers. She cranes her head, smiling at Steve.

“Open up, daddy,” she says. Steve meets Robin’s gaze, shooting her a glare, to which Robin waggles her brows. Steve sighs, opening his mouth and letting Daisy dump the pistachios into his mouth, chewing.

“Mhhhmm,” he says, and Daisy laughs.

“Mommy is a better liar,” she says. Robin snorts a laugh, and tries to suppress it. “Is mommy coming home soon?”

The door opens again, and you step in, setting your bag on the table near the door and scanning the living room, lips curling up in a wide grin.

“Buckley, I swear to god, if you brought my kid more pistachios…” You say, heading to the couch. Robin’s smile turns smug, and she jerks a chin at Daisy, who sets her pistachios on Steve’s lap and climbs off him, bolting across the carpet and throwing herself into your arms.

“My little Daisy Mae!” You exclaim, picking her up and peppering kisses across her face. She laughs happily, and squirms, running back to Steve and her pistachios once you’ve kissed her properly. You drop down next to Steve on the couch, and he wraps an arm around you. Daisy, ever the cock-block of the last three years, settles in the middle of you, half spread across both your laps.

Steve meets your gaze over her head, a tiny smile tugging on his lips.

“Is Auntie Jackie coming, too?” Daisy asks. Robin smiles.

“Auntie Jackie has to work,” she says, “but she’s coming for dinner on Saturday.”

Daisy frowns, but perks up after a moment, and asks, “Is she bringing pistachios?”

Robin hides a laugh, and nods.

“Don’t you worry, Daze, we wouldn’t forget.”

“You created a monster,” You tell her. Robin shrugs, smirking.

‘Technically, you and dingus here created-“

Steve claps his hands over Daisy’s ears, which makes you and Robin laugh.

“If she’s serving pistachios at her wedding, you’re paying that bill,” you say. Robin grins.

“Pis’dachios!” Daisy exclaims. She pops another handful into her mouth, smiling wide. Her expression is all Steve, then, that wide smile and cocked brows. When her bag is empty, she frowns, crinkling it up into a ball.

Robin pushes off the couch, rolling her eyes.

“Come on, Daisy. Lets wash those slobbery hands, yeah?” She holds out a hand, and Daisy takes it, climbing off the couch and following Robin into the kitchen. Robin hoists her up over the sink, flipping the water on.

You lean further into Steve’s side, and he drops a kiss to your temple.

“I think our kid is pretty cool,” he says. “Maybe cooler than us.”

“Cooler than you,” you say, and Steve snorts. You smile, craning your neck to meet his gaze. “We did good.”

“That was pretty much all you.”

“Eh, you had a tiny part.”

He laughs, pressing another kiss to your head, moving lower to catch your mouth in his. You lean into him, lips parting.

“Ew!” The chorus sounds from the kitchen, and you pull away to find Robin and Daisy oohing and aahing at you, their expressions twisted.

“Gross, mom and dad,” Robin says, making a tsk tsk noise with her tongue. Steve holds up three fingers, and says, “Read through the lines, Buckley!”

“One, two, three!” Daisy announces, counting his fingers. Robin snorts, taking Daisy’s hand and leading her back into the living room.

“Ew! Kisses are gross,” Daisy says. Steve cocks a brow, standing up.

“Oh? Kisses are gross?” He asks. Daisy’s eyes go wide, and she screams, bolting down the hall, and Steve chases after her, their laughter carrying down the hall.

Robin drops back onto the couch, and the two of you watch with smiles as Steve chases Daisy around, her giggles and happy screams the most beautiful sound in the world.

Steve catches her, flipping her upside down and blowing raspberry kisses onto her belly, her laughter contagious. He rights her, and she wraps her arms around his neck, getting him back with her own sloppy kiss on his cheek, sticky and wet.

Daisy wriggles out of his arms, climbing into your lap, half hiding, and when he sits down beside you, Daisy sprawls across you both.

Steve’s life is not perfect. There are early mornings and late nights, and there are still nightmares and ghosts. But there’s more, too. There is a little house and a little girl with his hair and your eyes. There’s a lot more happiness than Steve ever expected to find, and he vows to never let it go.

FFVI as a D&D Campaign:

OK, so I've been watching "Critical Role" (Campaign 1, Episode 31, no spoilers!) a LOT lately and it got me thinking how FFVI (arguably the BEST "Final Fantasy" game out there) is essentialy that. The biggest moments could be atributted to CRAZY rolls! I can see each of the characters being played by one of the people at the table! * Marisha as Terra Branford: Would be phenomenal. Her mentality is kinda in-line with Keyleth's. The "Kill Their Own Emotions" moment in the boat shakes the table as a whole. And when it's time to run an orphanage and protect her kids from Humbaba, the emotion in her voice destroys everyone in the Party. The "Mama?" moment becomes the most fan-arted moment for her character until the final fight. Her Trance ability is agreed to be the coolest looking skill at the table. To say nothing of the way she'd react to the whole Slave Crown bussiness!

Matt: "She killed 50 imperial soldiers in a few minutes." Marisha, and the whole table: *S H A K I N G*

* Taliesin as Locke Cole: "Treasure Hunter!" every single time somebody calls him a thief or a rogue. The "Rachel" story would be absolutely heartbreaking with Taliesin's expressions. The solo-sneak through the town while meeting Celes would be one of the highlights of the Campaign... That and his frienship with Terra would only be accentuated by Taliesin's and Marisha's irl friendship. Not to mention him puking on the ship would serve as some comedic timing straight out of "Critical Role"! Also, "That bow looks good on you" LAUNCHES the ship to heights undreamt of.

* Sam as Edgar Figaro: I mean, COME ON! IT WRITES ITSELF! Besides, it would be enjoyable to see him use his -Artificer- Machinist abilities as creatively as he does! Can you IMAGINE him rolling high enough one day and then he just creates the Noiseblaster? And with that he pulls out the microphone every time he uses it and proceeds to shout some thing Scanlan would be proud of... Not to mention his friendship with Sabin would be amazing if played by Sam! "The little shrimp has become a mighty Lobster!" You can HEAR Sam Riegel's voice come out of that! And the two headed coin? Now THAT's a Scanlan! This without mentioning the violations of the Geneva Convention that the Bioblaster would certainly entail...

* Laura as Celes Chere: I mean, OBVIOUSLY. Meeting Locke in the dungeon? The apparent betrayal? THE OPERA HOUSE?! "I'm a former General, not some... Opera floozy!" TELL ME you don't hear Laura Bailey saying that! And then she rolls a Natural 20 on performance and EVERYONE looses their shit! Her Runic ability is the target of MANY close saves. Also, the way Locke and Celes' interactions happen, she'd be perfect opposite Taliesin. The chat on the bridge in Albrook? HEARTSTOPPING. The attempted suicide? You KNOW Matt would call the sesion there!

* Travis as Sabin Figaro: This one was obvious. Monk/Barb that gets mistaken for a bear, and acts like an absolute teddy bear around Terra? Yes. Gods above, YES. "You think a tiny thing like the end of the world was going to be enough to keep me down?" You heard Grog too, right? The moments would be worth MILLIONS. The Opera house and Travis going "Why is everyone singing?" and then getting more and more into it! Him holding up the house for Celes! "MISTER THOU"... But best of all, and probably the single most famous Sabin moment EVER, The Phantom Train:

Matt: The train tracks suddenly lurch to the side. Even after this long and hard-fought battle it seems *chukles* it seems this train isn't letting you get away with your lives. That brings us to you, Travis! Travis, on his 5000 IQ shit: I grapple the train.

Entire Table: ARE YOU FUCKING NUTS?!?!

* Liam as Setzer Gabbiani: Since he's LITERALY "Mister Steal Your Girl", I think Liam would be PERFECT. Just imagine him getting set up as this suave and smooth rougue who wanted to kidnap a beautiful singer and then gets Laura instead! (Which isn't entirely wrong...) IMAGINE his expresions and his dissapearing under the table laughing as the others barely climb aboard The Blackjack. THE ENTIRE PARTY giving him shit for a low roll on a Wisdom Check (the double-headed coin) and him segwaying that into joining the party, only to find out that he actually knew all along... Priceless. The total and undistilled heartbreak as his ship falls apart, him trying to reach out for Terra and everyone falling on different places. And then meeting Celes a year later and doing the whole Daryll story... Liam would be the one to steal the audience every time he takes the spotlight! Though he would be a little like Percy in the sense that he doesn't get much to do until his arc happens.

"Money, Money, Money!" every time he throws coins to attack, the loaded dice (in character, not at the table?) and the card throws would make him so stylish in a D&D setting I'll be surprised if somebody hasn't done it already.

* Ashley as Relm Arrowny: She takes forever to join because of her constantly being away for filming, but once she's here? HOO BOY, does the fun keep coming! Her paintings coming alive and helping them fight? Her giving Sam shit for Edgar's love life? "Fuddy-Duddy!" becoming A Thing? All of those moments would be hilarious... But probably her most notorious moment comes when they find her a year later, serving a posessed brush, telling her to paint, paint, paint under the Magic House... "Keep painting until I'm complete..." To give her form. And then the Lakshmi boss fight happens... Matt: And with the last of her strength gone, the banshee-like apparition dissipates into mist, and before any of you can react, Relm's magic brush begins to glow, like it had when you first came in here. The glow slowly creeps off the hairs and darts! Off towards the mistified form of it's mistress, enveloping itself into a thicc layer on top of the mist, swirling around... and around and around.

Ashley: Oh god, now what?

Matt: The colors dissipate, and Lakshmi unleashes a terrible wail! *DM monster noises* As it is now joined with this colorful cloud... And it compresses, smaller and smaller... And more solid until it's not mist anymore.

Marisha: *Gets it* ¡WAIT A MINUTE!

Travis: *Exited* ¡OH SHIT, HOLD ON!

Matt: The fog dissipates... And the calm returns to Relm's senses. Ashley you are now holding an innert, ordinary paint brush. However! Floating in the air, you see a crystal with a small glowing core, the particular essence of Life embeded in the middle, Terra you *points at Marisha* feel this and recognize it instantly, as it falls to the ground, and bounces a couple times... "Lakshmi" becomes the most PAINFUL fanart to make, and it's ALWAYS the one that's valued the most among the fandom.

The rest of the Party (Strago, Umaro, Mog, Cyan, Gau and GoGo) can be the guests that come over every once in a while (I particualrly see Wil Wheaton as Strago Magus, Mary McGlynn as GoGo and Will Friedle as Clyde "Shadow" Arrowny) with Shadow coming and going with the excuse that "His contract is up" (and let's face it, after surviving/witnessing the Phantom Train? My contract would be up too...) and coming back whenever his schedule/the plot allows. Eventually, everyone comes together for one last session and the battle with God Kefka. Setting their affairs in order, the reveal of who Shadow really is during a lone chat with Strago shakes the Critters to their core. Everything makes sense! Why Interceptor went straight to Relm when they met... Why his nightmares kept showing a village of magic users, yet they never mention Shadow in Thamasa! The group is RATTLED and wether or not he survives at the end becomes a HEATED argument between everyone at the table. Only Strago knows the truth...

The sendoff on The Falcon with everyone saying goodbye and seeing what the World will bring next is regarded as one of the most emotional scenes in "Critical Role" history... But the most completely DESTRUCTIVE force in this entire cast is Matt Mercer as Kefka Palazzo:

The personality... the narrative... The absolute slime in his voice when he poisons Doma. When he kills Leo and brings forth the Light of Judgement. Matt definitely has his moments playing Ultros. He's fun! And Emperor Ghestal was more of a political "Darth Sidious" villain. But Kefka? OH, LORD. NOBODY was ready for Kefka. "Enjoy the barbicue!" gets memed to no end, while also sending a horrible shiver down people's spine whenever somebody brings it up. Truly, the villain to end all villains. I can see it happen so vividly... If anybody wants to talk about this more, PLEASE hit me up! This just feels too good! Until off course the party moves on to their next Campaign in the setting for "Final Fantasy 5" but that's a whole OTHER can of worms!

In a MACY'S of all places?

I cannot believe I haven't mentioned this story I tell it all the time irl.

Another one of my long list of boarding school stories. There was a guy at my school who was legally blind. I met him in the Cirque du Soleil program my freshman year. He was a really cool dude and I hung out with him a bit since I was dating his roommate. He was pagan, can't remember the specifics, but I remember could read people's auras. Anyway, the school used to do monthly mall trips for the students, and he was hanging out with my friend group that day. While we were waiting on the bus to take us home, me, him, and another friend were sitting in MACY'S since it was the closest store to where we were being picked up. So we were chatting and basically he pulls out a tiny bag with some crystals and salts and herbs and was like 'hey you guys wanna tell me about your past lives?' And we were like hell yeah. I think he like held our hands and placed the crystal on his third eye and just went ham like describing very detailed things. My friend was a first and I remember he told her she was like a very successful lady fisherman somewhere in Europe in like the 1600s. Apparently I was easier to read and he gave me like 6 different past lives (I wrote them all down few days after this experience so if I find that I'll deffo update this post). I specifically remember he said I was a 'white snow fox' in a recent life but that's not even the coolest one. The one he got the most info on was that I was someone of noble birth in Carthage around the time it was seiged by the Romans (he specifically said princess if I remember right). I fled to Egypt and became a priestess in a temple and he specifically mentioned a temple full of cats.

So yeah, a blind man told me I was an arctic fox (and a royal refugee) in a past life at MACY'S.
