But i do still see him being a weird, neurotic collector of things-- so i now imagine him as like, a collector of things that... is near unthinkable to collect and keep. Like... every cigarette Shoko has smoked down to the butt that has an imprint of lipstick/gloss/lip product because Shoko's really good at not smearing her makeup on anything-- comes with being a doctor (probably) gotta keep super clean and neat. I can see him having a little sealed jar in his house full of cigarette butts on full display like its a flower vase LMAO-- or like, each pair of glasses that isnt his (theyre nanamis) that he manages to take (smuggle) home with him and accidentally break. Gojo wants to replace all the ones he takes himself but doesnt because he'lll inevitably and "accidentally" take a pair home with him, and if gojo was supplying his glasses-- they wouldn't have the nanami touch LMAOOOO

I can also see it becoming super weirdge (creepy) (positive(?)) (affectionate) too like-- he has a collection of the first teeth that gets knocked out of his students on missions. Has em all out on display and shit, going like "oh man! Harutas molar! She got punched in the face, and basically slammed on every single surface of a building-- but the hilarious thing is, it only fell out when the mission ended and some dust got into her nose! Practically shot outta her mouth like a bullet, ahaha!"

Im reminded of this one guy i found on yt shorts (i will not download tiktok, i would rather shove an onion into my eyes) gothorella, that has this creepily fascinating art wall thats just full of the weird and wild stuff that she makes like the foam brain and the teeth ornament, etc. And like-- i can genuinely see gojo displaying his weirdge collections similar to that. Just like-- a picture frame of teeth with names under each one, a jar of cigar butts, a display case of broken and bloodied dirted glasses, and on and on.

HAHA THANKFULLY i think that might just be the design of his bedsheet, as its an adorable simple version of what we see in his apartment...

but i digress. in the original bed, it looks to be a bedsheet because of the shape and shading, topped off with the blanket. another reason i think this is a sheet is because i remember in a luke story (my memory fails me, i cant remember which ;-;) that luke and mc changed the bedsheets of his bed together. additionally, across several stories, mc hilariously loves to bring up how luke's Scent lingers on his sheets. shes so real for that.

so while I've been reading doth---and I'm sure this is mostly cuz I'm a sucker for good family dynamics---I've been all for draxum and galois and Casey getting to be a good healthy family unit, and have been righteously annoyed on the family for not being able to see that Donnie and galois are two separate people now and trying to treat gale like he's still they're brother when he's now functionally NOT, but then I got thinking about how, if when Donnie got new memories and became galois 'Donnie' continued existing as like a spirit or something, how he would feel about current events. And. I came up with this.

Also, a conquering force thats fully refusing to compromise versus people defending themselves and have showed to be open to peaceful communications and compromises is. lol. not a conflict of ideals. Especially when Dimitri, once his mind settles, straight up says that it was her methods he had his primary issue with, not her ideals

Note that he asks her what her ideals even are here, at the end of the war itself, meaning that they obviously weren't any motivating factor for him to fight her before because he didn't even know what they were. He just wants to know why she did this shit - that he didn't exactly take to her "I had to kill people, or they would have died!" mentality afterwards has shit all to do with everything before that moment.

And especially especially when Claude even straight up says in the beginning of VW that he agrees with her, but that it was literally specifically her bloody methods that made him stand against her

Ideals are, at the beginning, what Claude and Edelgard literally have no conflict about. And he makes the revelation that Rhea was a positive influence after defeating Edelgard, so his change in opinion about her didn't have anything to do with his beef with Edelgard either. His problem with Edelgard, like Dimitri, was her proclivity to murder innocents. Which, uh, yeah, kind of a bit of a deal-breaker there.

And then you have Edelgard, who explicitly and directly states that she wants to destroy the Church, Kingdom, and Alliance to force Fodlan back under complete Imperial control.

THERE AIN'T SHIT ABOUT IDEALS. BECAUSE EDELGARD DOESN'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT IDEALS. THAT IS NOT WHY SHE STARTS HER WAR AND SHE MAKES HERSELF SO, SO CLEAR ABOUT IT.

Like, to be clear, I can't stand the game either whenever it does to some degree try to sprinkle that shit in here to make Edelgard easier to take in, but holy shit do Dimitri and Claude make it hilariously obvious that Edelgard's ideals are not the damn issue here. my hot take on magical girl animes isnt that hot i think, but i am just sick to DEATH of madoka magica clones. i will literally never listen to a man who says madoka is his favorite magi girl anime (or god forbid, klk, which if you consider it a magi girl anime i think you should [REDACTED]) bc any man that says this has most likely never watched any other magi girl anime and thinks madokas better because its #mature and #deep.

(deep meaning that characters suffer and die because apparently thats the only way to be deep. if i hear the word 'deconstruction' one more time ill explode.)

i wont even be 100% petty, i do think madoka is... pretty. its a fun watch. but the affect its had on the genre? the only magi girl animes ive seen in the last DECADE (excluding precure) are 1. trying to be like madoka (so edgy, bloody, lots of suffering. an example of one is 'magical girl site') or 2. a remake of a classic. I AM IN A MAGICAL GIRL DROUGHT.

visual novels are a great medium to tell stories (and yes, they can be funny or silly if they want to) but it is just overrun with people who think its 'hilarious' to tell actually good stories with it and instead give me the 74th unfunny gimmicky vn of the day that everyone will forget in 1 to 2 business days .

(writing a blurb about other fischl despite not knowing that much about the background of the ein immernachtstraum skin lore. forgive me if its off🗿)

other fischl (who im naming night or something similar(maybe nyx?)) who maintains her identity as the true prinzessin but would throw it all away for the sake of the creator. night who can see danger coming from miles away thanks to oz and his ability to be her eyes in the sky.

her electro might not be as volatile as red's pyro but she can still protect the creator just as well as he can! (maybe even better than red!) seeing that she uses a bow and has oz, she can better fight the knights of favonius in long ranged combat.

when red comes back bloodied and bruised, which she knows is on purpose to get creator's attention, she gets a little jealous. why can't she get that attention and love? obviously she should be getting more attention, she's the prinzessin der verurteilung! the two of them are on rocky ground but for the sake of the creator, they're willing to (mostly) put aside their differences. (and she hates to admit it but red does make for a good teammate)

night and fischl don't have as much drama as red and diluc do but that doesn't stop her from acting superior to fischl. after all, who protected the true creator during the hunt? not fischl. thats who.

all things aside, she'd lay down her life and her title as the prinzessin for the creator.

Ein Immernachtstraum translates roughly to ‘an ever night dream’ (and i’d anybody who actually speaks german thinks that’s wrong, take it up with google translate <3) so i think ‘night’ works well!

also, i went back to the event (shout out to the genshin wiki. genshin wiki my dearly beloved. if nobody got me i know the genshin wiki got me) and reviewed the dialogue from the other-fischl—who’s referred to as ‘immernacht fischl’ or ‘evernight fischl’ which is a useless fact but here—and have essentially gathered this:

‘fischl’ is a persona. we’re aware of this—or i assume everyone is? or was that info revealed in the event??—and know that her real name is amy. the event (summertime odyssey, part 3 for the dialogue i saw by the way if you wanna read it yourself) takes this a step further, but first i’ll quickly recap some fischl lore. i’ll put a ‘recap over’ if you know and don’t wanna read it.

so! as i said, ‘fischl’ as we know her is actually amy. fischl is a character from an obscure book series titled “Flowers for Princess Fischl.” now, this princess fischl is the one that rules over the immernachtreich, this princess fischl is the one with a soulbond with a raven familiar and an entire kingdom.

amy, as a child, read these books and was, expectedly, a massive fan. her parents played along, calling her ‘fischl’ and playing into the essentially very advanced roleplay. as she grew up, she kept with this persona, even as she—i assume, her lore was a bit vague—was bullied for this persona. but her parents didn’t really say anything, and were assumedly supportive.

however, on her 14th birthday, when she went to her parents for comfort after another round of bullying, they said that she needed to drop the act. she was incredibly upset by this, naturally, and went to the library to console herself with her favorite books. that night, she received both her vision and oz.

(and then they had dinner with her parents and oz complimented her parents’ beans which is hilarious as a sentence)

now, the ‘immernacht fischl’ is essentially the actual fischl, not amy. she’s a manifestation of all of amy’s insecurities, in essence, and in the event oz actually switches sides because, to paraphrase, “isn’t she my master too?”

all of this to say that night, the personification of ein immernachtstraum, which is the outfit that the immernacht fischl wore, is essentially the real fischl that amy has based her entire identity off of.

to finally get to your point: you are 100% correct on everything. night is better for long range, and fischl in canon can see through oz’s eyes so i assume the same for night, so she’s better for reconnaissance and looking out for threats. her and red make for a powerful overload team, but she’s 1000% jealous of the attention you pay to him. she never gets such injuries because she’s significantly less tanky, has less combat experience most likely, and is long-range, but she feels like it might be worth it to have you dote on her.

her and fischl have significantly less animosity than red and diluc, but there’s a fairly large caveat. whereas red hates diluc for his choice of priorities (and for the hunt) and diluc hates red because 1) he fuckin growled at him when they first met what the fuck 2) red just isn’t a good guy to anybody but you, night and fischl have a more one sided sort of hate.

fischl hates night. she views herself as the real fischl, and oz doesn’t even recognize night as the (a?) princess! there’s something severely wrong here, and she hates it.

but night could not give less of a fuck about fischl. she does not care. she views her as a cheap copy, one not worth paying any mind to. why would she? she has everything, and fischl had to make up what she has. she has the real ozvaldo hrafnavins, she rules over the real immernachtreich, and she had all of them since the moment she was brought to life by you. she doesn’t need a vision to give her copies- psh, its an insult to imply she’d ever be jealous.

oh, and to clarify the point i made about her being an illusionist: in the event, fischl’s domain—it’s hard to explain, but each of the characters involved had their personal domain like based off of them—involved a lot of perspective tricks! so i figured night would be able to make illusions with electro, or be able to manipulate her surroundings in impossible ways via said perspective tricks. i’m thinking of her like holding a pebble up to her eye and with a flash of magic, suddenly it’s a boulder blocking off the hunters’ path! her and morax make for a team when trying to cut off the hunters, and her and barbatos can be clever together to get you out of sticky situations.

oh, but of course, since she is a princess, she has an incredibly strong sense of loyalty. her and oz are more than willing to lay down their lives for you—but then again, so are the others.

I WAS LITERALLY AVOIDING OTHWR MEDIA TOO SO I COULD PRESERVE MY HITTACHIN HYPERFIXATION and then my friend wanted to see a movie for their birthday,, fuck that friend in particular. how dare they make me consume outside media

my hyperfixations are usually really long. even if theres no more content of it for me to see, my headcanons and made up scenarios can keep it going FOREVER

in fact something really funny is that when i get a new hyperfixation i tend to just. completely drop the old one. i literally straight up abandoned a dsm p twitter stan account with nearly 1k followers and a bunch of close mutuals DAYS after starting danganronpa. once something grabs my mind it does Not Let Go

fortunately that didnt really happen with hitachiins to fruit brothers,, probably because there really wasn't much content for me to consume. i could rewatch the anime and it would last a few episodes, there's a fandom, but bullet train Just came out so there wasn't much of a fandom yet, and it wouldnt be on digital (or soap2day hehe) for a couple months or so.

anyway i really like that movie if you couldn't tell !!! personally i recommend it but fair warning its very gorey/bloody/violent (in that strange comedic way- think deadpool or kingsman) and made me CRY. like just sob. so the emotional damage was real but i loved it anyway

idk what it is that makes me love brother characters so much. i feel like its just so sweet to be to have siblings that are just ,, always there for each other. they grew up together, they've had each other through everything, good and bad, and they've survived at each other's side. they trust each other with their lives, even if they can't trust anyone else. its more than just a best friend thing too, because its an irreplaceable bond. its just,,, ougjfjhhjh its my favorite .

its my personal headcanon that no one actually processes the fact that frae is blind until at least after the grove party like. he's just so well adjusted to things like travel and interaction (and even combat) that its easy to overlook the telling details in his behavior that he, actually, cannot see. at some point the companions are just like wait one second and have to go to him for confirmation.

frae, feigning indignation when someone approaches him just like "of course I'm bloody blind ! why would I lie about a thing like that ? I guess I just fumble around for the hells of it !" and then makes a point of exaggerating his blindness in camp the next few nights just to milk it and make fun of everyone (good naturedly, ofc. he thinks its hilarious)

I may give him a couple levels in warlock for story reasons - I'm thinking his patron has granted him blindsight, and thats how hes been able to function as well as he has.

I haven't read the After books or experienced this particular phenomenon. On the other hand, maybe I had to see the first 3 films ? (With a friend and we will watch the sequel at some point because we laugh a lot in front of it, basically we watch for the joke) Which I find really really bad, but I have no doubt that the books must be better. There was a time when I had volume 1 in my library but I never read it. Perhaps I should just to finally understand what could have pleased you so much ? On the other hand, I experienced the 50 Shades of Gray phenomenon thoroughly at the time when I was 13 / 14 years old when the first film came out ? I read all the books before the first film came out and I absolutely loved it even if today I find it not crazy, but still entertaining. And the books remained better than the films, especially the last one where they massacred Anna's accident in the adaptation. 😂😭

I haven't read the books. I've seen the movies. But I want to read them. Mostly because I find the drama entertaining. I dont see it as romance. I see it more as entertaining smutty dumpster fire drama. Like soap opera on crack. Thats what I think makes them so interesting. Its suppose to be toxic. It's suppose to be messed up. Thats the point. Mainly I want the first and second books because those were my favorite of the movies(though the third movie had my favorite ending). Both the main characters are two messed up people. But what makes them interesting, is that they're hilariously interesting about how equally messed up they each are, its not just the guy. They both have issues, and they make each other worse! 😈 I know its bad, but I take pleasure in watching their drama. It makes me want to sit back and eat popcorn. Just messy dramatic white people drama.

For example my favorite scene in the second movie is when a drunk Tessa gets into a fight with one of Hardins ex fuck buddies Molly. Its just hilarious to watch. Especially when Hardin(and god is Hardin such a stupid name. Sounds like hard on lol 😆) pulls a drunk Tessa away from the fight. Tosses her over his shoulder and walks away with Tessa drunk laughing evilly and giving a bloody nose Molly the middle finger as she says, "Happy New Year bitch!" And Hardin the alcoholic and one always getting into fights is the one that told her they shouldn't go to this party.

Lol honestly I still laugh about that. They both so many issues.

Favourite Doctor Who episodes part two

Eleventh Doctor: *happy, excited screaming* my baby!!! Eleven is my favourite modern era Doctor, his episodes give me so much nostalgia and makes me so happy but god some of them were so sad and dark too. Thats why I loved eleven so much cause he acted all happy and childlike n shit bit he was most definitely the dark Doctor out of all of them oh so dark but he has the best quotes and dialogs especially when talking to the killer Sun! (Srs that gets me in the hearts still now and it's been a bloody decade yes I'm old) Eleventh hour is my absolute favourite episode of all time I know it's the first one but there's reasons why it's my favourite. It's based on faith, lil amelia, the sound track all sorts it's just a fantastic amazing brilliant fun episode and if I need cheering up it's always this one I put on because I just love Eleven and this episode too much (I sobbed when the Ponds got sent back in time. I was not okay at all....I mean who does that to a twelve year old kid!

Twelveth Doctor: I took a long time to warm up to this Doctor admittedly. I was upset that the sweet and childlike Doctor was gone and replaced by a grumpy old man........turns out this Doctor was also absolutely amazing! He was something else. Said it how it is was also had his funny moments and some great episodes as well (not all but some were good.) I adored Clara yes but I have ro say I think Bill was just the best I wished we had Bill longer she was just a mood! Robot of shearwood was just hilariously stupid but that's why it's my favourite. It's just Clara being allll happy and twelve being all grumpy and he's just arguing with Robin and all sorts of Chaos that amused me especially this part! (The Doctor: You’re not serious.

Robin Hood: I am many things, sir. But I am never that. Robin Hood laughs in the face of all.

The Doctor: And do people ever punch you in the face when you do that?) That made me wheeze so hard...that moment made me realise...I think I'm gonna like this Doctor.

Thirteenth Doctor: love her or hate her idc. I absolutely loved her like a lot she was like a whirlwind passing by. Very bright personality as the beginning and also fairly childlike but I'd say she was a fair amount more serious than eleven and two she also had her dark moments and I'd even say she wasn't as kind to her companions sometimes which showed a different side to the Doctor. She isn't happy she doesn't wanna talk about shit and people aren't kind to her she went through a lotta shit thirteen did and I really did think she probably had bounds of depression after timeless child. I didn't really enjoy every episodes some were better than others but still it's Doctor who I'm still going to watch the all!! I just wished Thirteen had more run time but I guess POTD kinda gave her the ending she deserves but her run should've been like POTD now that was my second favourite episode (not because she was leaving I didn't want her to go at all I absolutely sobbed and was numb) but because it was just so chaotic wacky funny high level of things always happening and the fucking master dancing to Rasputin but....my favourite episode was spy fall. I don't know why but I just really liked that episode it had the same kinda level as POTD but I did not expect O to be the master (I'm sorry but I absolutely love Dhawan master I mean I love all the masters as he's/she's my favourite villian of all times the charcter is amazing but dhawan was a whole level of unhinged that made me wanna hug him and punch him at the same time he was a scary dude okay!) (I'm still bitter and the thasmin ending)
