Now that brambleclaw and squirrelflight aren't mates, how would Alderheart and Sparkpelt being born? Most AUs (not saying those aus are bad) just have Bramblestar as a nothing character either as a villain with no personality or forgettable, with the personlity of wheat bread "man wife"
A lot of Bramnleclaw's character in/is about Squirrelflight and their love triangle with Ashfur. I can't really see (again no offense to you. Just airing my thoughts) as him being nothing character, if he isn't her mate than how would TBC happen or would that series never happen because Ashfur or Brambleclaw aren't mates with Squirrelflight. How would plotpointd such as his relationship with firestar would become? It would be jus them as adoptive siblings?
beware, this shit is long! soooo much more under the cut.
i’ve been thinking about this! basically, squilf would replace leafpool in the forbidden romance plot with crowfeather. during tpb, all of squilf’s romance will be with crowfeather. we get his pov during the journey, where he will be close with feathertail but crushing on squirrelpaw. we get squilf’s pov when they get home, where we can hear her internal debates over her feelings about crowpaw and missing him. she is attached to brambleshade (brambleclaw), but in a sibling way. in my head, firestar is a pseudo-dad to bramble, so a sibling dynamic makes sense. however, this isn’t reciprocated the same way. bramble grows to be in love with squirrelflight.
in twilight, squirrel and crow debate leaving, but decide against it and amicably agree to split. at the same time, leafpool is having the same issue with mothwing — mothwing cares little about the warrior code, and would much rather leave the clans and live their lives in peace, with a bonus of the fact that hawkfrost would never follow her and she’d be free of him. they run away, but come back just in time, like the leafcrow romance in canon.
as a note, because tc doesn’t share borders with rc, they had no idea it was mothwing that leafpool ran away with.
afterward, in sunset, squirrelflight grows closer to bramble and ashfur is scorned, much like in canon. she realizes he assumes she’s in love with bramble, and she lets this happen to dissuade him from trying to “win” her back. she feels safe doing this, because she assumes her sibling feelings towards bramble are the same from his side.
(note: squilf did date ashfur while she was arguing with bramble, but at first it was just friendship. she thought he’d make a great mate, and she could forget about crowfeather and maybe even have kits. but as he grows more controlling, she breaks up with him. soon after, she reconciles with bramble and ashfur takes this as badly as possible.)
after the whole saving her dad thing, squirrelflight is delighted. (side note again: bramble does become deputy, because longtail retires early. longstar would be too good of a leader, we need a shit one, for plot reasons.) bramble is delighted, because he thinks this means she loves him “again”. leafpool had no idea about the crowfeather thing, and tells squilf about the dream starclan sent of squilf and bramble walking side by side. squilf takes this to mean starclan wants her and bramble as mates (they absolutely do, the meddling weirdos), but with the way she feels about him? she isn’t fond of the idea. however, at the book’s end, leafpool tells her she’s pregnant. squilf knows exactly who’s they are — and she is both petrified and delighted. it’s complicated situation, she’s so overjoyed to have her love’s kits, but he will never know them and the clan will be suspicious. everyone knows she was courting ashfur but spends all her time with bramble now, so they’ll assume it’s one of theirs. so will the two cats in question. if she refuses to say who, it’ll be very obvious their father is not thunderclan. she tells this much to leafpool, who advises her to follow starclan’s wish and become bramble’s mate, for real. squilf tries to convince herself this will be okay, because it’s what starclan wants.
later, leafpool tells her she’s carrying mothwing’s kits, and they (TOGETHER) devise the plan to have squilf raise them, which will be easy because she’ll actually have milk here. bramble is over the moon at the news of kits, and squilf is dying inside. it’d be a depressing inner monologue, her trying to convince herself she can be happy like this.
leafpool fakes a starclan vision, saying squirrelflight must visit the moonpool immediately, for plot reasons. squilf gives birth up there, and crow stumbles upon them. there’s a unique herb growing in the cave that he was sent to retrieve for his “mate” (they’ve come to an agreement: crow takes night as his mate to look loyal, and the kits she has won’t appear as if they were fathered by a rogue, like they actually were), nightcloud, who’s about to give birth. he sees squilf’s kits, they get emotional and sappy. there’s two kits, unnamed. together, they name them hollykit and breezekit, and crow takes breezekit (the one out of rhe two without red on him) back to wc to be raised by nightcloud with her kits. he’ll blend right in with the litter.
a few hours later, leafpool gives birth to jaykit, lionkit (still haven’t decided his name change), and dovekit. after another day, a tc patrol comes to get them, wondering what took them so long, surprised to find squirrelflight’s four kits! they carry ‘em home, and squilf settles in the nursery, fussed over by brambleshade. about a week later, dovekit dies, and squilf is heartbroken. she grows listless and finds it hard to take care of her remaining kits, but later recovers and is a great mom.
power of three goes pretty close to canon, major plot wise. hollyleaf is not a member of the three, but it makes SENSE bc she wasn’t actuallt part of the three’s litter. dovekit was, who was later reincarnated into whitewing’s kit, dovekit, in order for the prophecy to be fulfilled. for the fire scene, it goes the same mostly, squilf claiming they aren’t her kits, ashfur says idc you love them anyway. i think i may have firestar save them from ashfur here, losing his final life. after the fire, squilf admits that hollyleaf is her kit, but the other two aren’t. hollyleaf pries the whole story out of leafpool, and goes STRAIGHT to brambleshade, before he goes to receive his nine lives. he thanks her for telling him, and he is heartbroken (because, apparently, his wife never loved him.) and furious. none of his kits were his, some of them were even leafpool’s! after he’s made bramblestar, he appoints hollyleaf as his deputy, citing that she’s the only one he can trust. things go to shit, sol, hollyleaf snaps and kills ashfur, hollyleaf tells the clans everything, including the prophecy, etc etc. hollyleaf dies, killed by the falling rocks in the tunnels. her role in the great battle stays the same, as does firestar’s, bc their ghosts can still kick ass.
after this, during omen of the stars, we see bramble actively punishing squirrelflight. everything is shit. i don’t know who i’ll have him pick as deputy, but they’ll die during the flood of bramblestar’s storm. jessy happens, etc etc, squilf and him make up. she apologizes, and he apologizes, but he kinda makes it about him, hmmm….
anyway, spark and alder are bramblesquirrel kits still. i haven’t thought about major plot for avos yet, i’ve barely thought about pot and oots. but, squilf is made deputy, and the broken code is a thing. bramblestar is freed of rhe possession, but there will be a scene where squirrelcrow have a Moment and bramblestar loses his shit. he accuses her of betraying him, of being cruel and evil, yada yada. brambleshade is a little weird, maybe kinda vindictive, but bramblestar is out of his mind. the sheer amount of power he has and his desire to use it against her is dangerous. he is very clearly an evil person, despite the sympathies he has. anyway, bramblestar tries to exile her, but spark stops him. she, and the clan, are OVER bramblestar, who was just as bad a leader as the imposter. he is stripped of his name and lives via rhe new warrior code rule, and the clan watches in horror as he loses all but his last life in real time. he’s moved to the medicine den. meanwhile, squilf becomes a star, and appoints ivyclaw (ivypool) her deputy. she gives brambleshade the option of leaving the clan or retiring, and he hobbles his old ass to the elder’s den.
after all this, crowfeather decides to join thunderclan, and squirrelstar happily accepts him, daring anyone to argue. they get their happily ever after, and it’s very sweet. maybe breeze even comes with his dad, tired of his clan’s scorn? regardless, it’s a very awkward time for nightheart watching his grandad spit obscenities at his step-grandad. wild.
pls tell me if this is incoherent ive never written my ideas out for the squirrelcrow bramblesquirrel plot before !!!

hi coming in a lil early for Smutty Tuesday but hear me out:
Azriel with a size kink and a corruption kink - a reader who is shy, quiet, easily flustered.
They’re at some party or gathering, reader gets overwhelmed and decides to hide away in a room to read her /definitely not/ smutty romance book. Azriel finds her, finds out what she’s *reading* (he definitely teased her about and her blush gave it away) and whatever resolve or restraint he has just snaps at the idea of ruining her 🫠🫠🫠
*insert rubbing hands together evilly here*

Life Imitates Art (Azriel x Reader)
WARNINGS: Smut, 18+, Size Kink, Corruption Kink, Oral through Panties, Oral
The room you are hiding in offers you peace and quiet, something sorely lacking in the ballroom just down the hall. You were always easily overwhelmed, preferring to stick to the shadows and be the wallflower, so you are certain no was missing you as your fingers turn the page.
You feel your lips curl up in a shy smile as your eyes scan over the page, the vulgarity in the text making your heart race. Nesta certainly has an interesting collection of books...you would have to steal from the pile more often.
Everything around you disappeared as you delved further and further into the story, rubbing your thighs together at the unholy images racking your brain with each word. You were so engrossed that you didn't hear the door open nor the footsteps walking towards you.
A large, scarred hand fell between the pages, and it made you jump. Your face went as red as a tomato as you saw the infamous Shadowsinger above you.
"I knew there was someone missing from the party..." He murmurs, hazel eyes dark as you try to snap your book shut. His hand prevents it though, fingers curling against the bottom and pulling it easily out of your grasp.
"Wait, that's-" You try to reach for it, but he clicks his tongue, giving you a warning glance before turning to read.
"His fingers curled inside me, touching me in places that I had dreamed of him caressing," Azriel's voice was pure sex as he smirked, enjoying the way you shrank into the chair from embarrassment. "I could only see his eyes as he watched me between my legs, his hot breath fanning across my c-"
"Stop!" You plead, covering your ears. "Please, I get it, just don't read further."
"What's wrong, Y/N? You were just reading this yourself, were you not?" He teased, snapping the book shut with a loud thud. "Why are you so embarrassed now?"
You groan and cover your face, shaking your head to try and see if this is simply a dream. However, when you peek through your fingers, Azriel was still there, watching you.
"Did you like it?"
"Az, I didn't mean for you to find me reading-" You protest until he leans forward even more, both of his hands bracing on the arm of the large lounge chair and caging you in.
"That's not what I asked you, little mouse. Answer me." His tone is authoritative, shivers running down your spine as you crane your head back to look him in the eyes.
"I...yes, yes, I liked it." Your voice is barely above a whisper as you see his jaw clench, the fabric of the chair crunching from how hard his grip had gotten.
"Was that so hard?" He asked, gaze falling briefly to your lips before back up to your eyes. "I didn't know a girl like you read those kinds of books. I wonder what else I don't know about you..."
One of his hands came up to rest against the column of your throat, his eyes lighting up with enjoyment at the way you swallowed at the contact. Your breath hitched when he knelt in front of you, his hands falling to your thighs and spreading them with ease.
"Have you ever been tasted before?" Azriel murmurs, slowly bunching your skirts up your leg to reveal more and more skin.
You felt like you were going to faint as your brain tried to catch up with what was happening, confused as to how this had escalated so quickly but not at all upset.
"Y/N." He calls, pinching your thigh and making you squeak. "Answer me when I ask you a question. Have you?"
"N-No, I've never...I've never done anything like this..." You mumble.
Azriel stops at the top of your thigh, his eyes closing for a brief moment as his nostrils flare. You try to sit up, worried you've upset him, but gasp when he all but shoves you back down into the chair.
It takes him a moment to speak again, his gaze fully concentrated between your legs where your panties were just starting to become visible. You swear you saw him shaking, his wings extending as he finally stops when he reveals yourself fully.
"Little mouse..." He moans, wrapping both of his arms under your thighs and yanking you forward until your ass was hanging off the end of the seat. "I can't wait to ruin you."
He immediately licks a long stripe over your lace underwear, his spit soaking through as the sensation sends your body buzzing. You whimper as he eats you out through the thin material, making sure to soak your entire underwear as you wiggle and roll your hips.
When he's had enough teasing, he moves his hand to each side of your hip and rips through them like paper, wasting no time in getting back to feasting on your pussy. Your fingers grasp his short hair, your eyes squeezing shut as your pleasure only increases.
"Oh, Az, please!" You gasp, back arching when he hums his praises of your vocalizations. "Fuck!"
"That's it, pretty girl," He moans, sucking and nibbling on your clit as his ring finger circles around your entrance. "Scream for me."
As he gives you another particularly hard suck that makes you see stars, he also pushes his finger into you. You moan loudly, walls clamping down on the intrusion as he curses.
"Stars, you are so fucking tight," Azriel hisses, thrusting in and out. "I can't wait to stretch you out, princess. To see this tiny cunt swallow me whole."
"I want it," You whine, looking down at him desperately. "I want you so bad, please I can't take much more."
There was the familiar feeling of your orgasm building, but it felt so much more intense than you were used to. You didn't have control over your body or your words as pleas and whines flow out like water.
"You can and you will." He snarls, pulling away as he adds a second finger and starts scissoring you open. "You'll take everything I give you. Do you know why?"
You shake your head, your clothes feeling too tight on your skin as he curls his fingers and hits that spot that makes you scream.
"Because this is mine." Azriel curls his fingers again, bringing you that much closer to the edge. "Your cries, your moans, your pleasure, it is mine and mine only. Only I can give you this, bring you to this point, and you'll take it and thank me."
"Yes, only you!" You repeat, barely coherent, as you start to clench around his fingers. He adds a third one, coming back to hover his mouth over your clit.
"Do you want to cum, mouse? Want to make a mess all over this chair, my fingers, my face?" He taunts you, watching as your cheeks heat up again from his words. "I want to hear you say it before you cum."
"Az, please!" You cry, hips bucking as he starts to flick your bud with the tip of his tongue. However, your words fall on deaf ears as he waits for you to give in, to speak those filthy thoughts aloud.
Shame will come to swallow you whole at a later time, your pleasure fogging your mind until all you can think of is Azriel's tongue, fingers, cock...
"I want to cum! I want to cum on your fingers, on your cock, I don't care!" Your voice breaks as he keeps you on edge, his pupils blown wide as he watches you fall from your pedestal of innocence and into his awaiting arms. "Please, please, please. I need it, I need you-I just-"
You can't finish your sentence as he mumbles against your sopping cunt and starts curling his fingers again, licking your clit just right to send you falling into an abyss of carnal rapture.
Your entire body seizes up, your mouth falling open to silently scream. He continues to fuck you through it, prolonging your pleasure as tears form in the corner of your eyes. You had touched yourself before, had made yourself cum, but it never felt this powerful.
Azriel watches you, his breathing ragged as you look at him with hazy eyes. It takes you a moment to realize he had picked you up and was carrying you out of the room and up the stairs, your head resting against his chest.
"Where are you taking me?" You ask hoarsely.
"To my room. I told you you'd take all of it, Y/N, and that doesn't just mean an orgasm."

hii not sure if you’re open to request but! could you do something about the reader playing with harry’s fingers/rings to calm them down?
A/N: This was so fun to write! I really hope I did this justice, but what you asked for doesn't feature as much as I would like :( The story took on a life of its own, but I hope you still like it!
Also, I'd love to get more suggestions/requests, it's a lot easier to write for them, than to write my own ideas haha
Warnings: Pretty fluffy, but a bit of angst. Anxious reader, with fidgeting coping mechanisms, a tiny bit of sad reader/Harry

Rings and Nervous Things
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Why did you feel so trapped? The dinner wasn’t some rowdy party, but your heart was still racing like you were tangled in the middle of a raging nightclub. You stared down at your plate as you tried to focus on whatever story Harry was telling beside you, hands clammy and twitchy in your lap. Fuck. The table laughed suddenly and you glanced up, faking a giggle when you saw Harry giving you a concerned look out of the corner of your eye. You didn't want to worry him, not when you both only saw each other when you had time off from work to join the tour. It would be a shame for one of the last dinners you had together for a little while to be spoilt by you for no good reason. Because there wasn't a good reason… right?
The dinner was a semi-regular one you did while on tour, a chance for the band, crew and Harry’s team to all sit together and have a ‘family’ dinner. It was bonding and normally enjoyable, but today… all you felt was a tight feeling of anxiety between your ribs. Anxiety was not a new feeling for you. It often felt like an annoying dog following you constantly, sometimes choosing to nip at your heels and make you uneasy. But it was a little unusual that you were feeling it now, with no discernible trigger around. But anxiety wasn't always logical or something you could control, so there was nothing you could do but try to focus on what was happening around you.
Your fingers picked at the threads of your lavender sweater almost hypnotically, the action soothing you as your ears tried to concentrate on the muddled drone of conversation around the table. Usually, you would feel a little more centred and stable when your nervous energy had an outlet, something to make you relax, even just a tiny bit. Pick one thread, move on, pick one thread, move on… Over and over, your picking reducing the bottom part of your sweater to look like it was half finished, threads loose and sticking out at all angles.
The fabric was beginning to completely fall apart when a large, warm hand slipped discreetly into your lap. It gently nudged your fingers away from your poor sweater, before resting palm down in the cradle of your hands, fingers splayed out across your skin. It was fairly easy to identify as your boyfriend's right hand, three rings gleaming softly under the lights as your brow creased in confusion. It took you a beat to realise what he was doing, and you gently shifted your hands out from under his, wrapping shaky fingers around his wrist while the others began twisting the golden lion ring in rhythmic, calming turns. The warmth of his palm was grounding on your thigh and it took everything in you not to melt into his side when his thumb started grazing soft circles across your jeans. You let your eyes drift back up to the table in front of you, suddenly feeling more settled than you had in ages. Back and forth… back and forth…
“You feeling better, sweetheart?” You hummed a quiet agreement, nestling into Harry’s side as he leaned a little bit closer. He made a happy noise before pressing a kiss to your temple, pausing for a beat with his nose in your hair, seemingly breathing you in for his own comfort. “Tell me if you’re feeling anxious again, okay? Don’t need to pretend for me” His words sounded muffled against you and he pressed another chaste kiss to your skin before pulling away with a soft smile. You smiled back, his words warming you from the inside out and chasing the tightness from your chest for a little while. “I will.” You glanced back down at your lap, frowning at the mess that was your sweater. “My poor sweater…” Harry chuckled lowly, hand twisting in your lap to hold your fidgety fingers. “We can get you a new one, baby. Don’t fret.”
By now, hours had passed and you were really starting to feel it, eyes drooping and stinging. The muted murmur of conversation only made you sleepier, your head dropping to Harry’s shoulder with a dull thump. Your fingers went limp around his hand, a tender kiss being pressed to the top of your head as the room went quiet.
Tumblr media
You could feel Harry’s solid warmth holding you first, a soft groan leaving your throat as you squirmed, strong arms tightening around you in surprise. “Don’t- Don’t wiggle around, sweetheart. I don’t want you to fall.” You just whined quietly as his chest rumbled against you in a barely muffled laugh. “I didn't mean to wake you, darling. Swear I didn’t.” Another whine was the only response as you tucked your face into the crook of Harry’s neck, eyes squeezed tightly as he began to climb the stairs. “Whiny little thing, aren't you?” He only got an indignant grunt in response as he giggled his way back to your shared room.
It didn't take long for him to set you down and help you get changed, your limbs feeling gooey and useless from the sleep clawing at your brain. He just smiled when you grumbled in frustration at your uncooperative limbs, gently guiding your arms through the right holes of your sleep shirt. It was times like this you’d miss, domestic moments that made your heart flutter. Maybe that was why you were anxious… anxious that you had to leave and go back to work. Leave him behind. That made you pause, frowning at your reflection in the mirror, your toothbrush hanging uselessly in your hand.
“Sweetheart, what's wrong?” He looked so concerned in the reflection that it made your already upset heart crack. Your face crumbled. “I don’t want to leave.” A sudden sob broke the uncertain silence, the toothbrush clattering in the sink as you tried to wipe away the tears. “Sweetheart-” You sniffed loudly enough for him to pause and you barrelled on. “I-I think that's why I was so anxious at dinner. I’ve o-only got a few days left with you and then I fly a-away, leaving you alo-” Your anxious, sob-strewn rant was cut short by Harry hugging you tightly to his chest, pressing soothing kisses to your hair, your shoulders shaking. “Shh, shh… Oh, darling. I don’t want you to leave either, but you have a job to get back to. I’ll be okay, I’ll have Jeff and everyone else to stop me from sulking too much.” That made you laugh wetly, pulling back from his embrace enough for your hands to slip up and cup his jaw. “I-I’ll just miss you. Like I always do. I think it’s just hitting me harder than usual.” Harry’s eyes softened at that, one of his hands beginning to rub up and down your back, in an attempt to comfort you. “Oh darling…” His own eyes started to glaze over and you giggled weakly, rubbing gentle thumbs under his eyes as a tear fell. “Oh look at the pair of us, crying in the bathroom in the middle of the night.” He huffed faintly, pulling you close again, your hands falling to grasp at his t-shirt, eyes fluttering shut at the calming thrum of Harry’s heartbeat. “We’ll be alright. You’ll be alright.” You smiled into his chest. “Yeah. Yeah, we will be. I will be.”
Harry hardly let you move away from him as you finished brushing your teeth, braiding your hair and pampering your skin. His arms stayed curled around your waist, his forehead settled in the nape of your neck as you shuffled about, the skin-to-skin contact causing a warm comforting feeling to bubble in your gut. And as you both slid into bed, immediately curling around each other, an arm over a waist, a leg over a thigh, the feeling grew, and you knew… you’d be alright.

Maybe katakuri with a s/o kinda like the annoying neglected kid in her family and she’s never tried donuts 🍩 please
Trying donuts for the first time with Katakuri headcanons
Author's Note: I love getting requests for some of my favorites that don't get that much attention! Thank you for your request and your patience. Hope you'll like it!
- First off, his liking for donuts is something that you will find out later as he's more introverted and always wants to keep that warrior impression for others as much as he can. Have patience when it comes to him, opening up about his likes and dislikes
- Finally, he invites you to take a break with him. You follow him to a room and you finally see him sit down and rest next to a big plate with donuts, his sugary obsession.
- Again, he knows that he is a warrior, a guardian, who's supposed to be intimidating and all but his sweet tooth wins, every time. Try not to look surprised or he will feel a bit hesitant about revealing this to you.
- While he enjoys those finer things in life, donuts, he notices the curious look on your face. He follows your stare and lets out a subtle and barely audible chuckle, his gaze softening at you.
"Which one?" He asks wanting to find out which one's your favourite.
- With this, you let him know that you never tried donuts before, without the rest of the story. He is baffled, after the shock he immediately wants to give you the donut he just bit into but shakes his head dismissing his instinct.
"Well, aren't you missing out?" He asks calmly, taking the plate and holding it out to you to take one from it.
- He waited for your reaction, almost breathless, like he was the one who made that donut. He starts thinking about the fact that if you liked sweet and sugary things as he did then he had found the right person. Cutie
- It's a shame that he still tries to hide his smile when you react positively to his favorite dessert is just so precious. But either way, you'll see it in his eyes.
- If you decide to tell him why you haven't tried them before, you'll see his relaxed expression turning gradually into a serious one.
- Katakuri seemed taken aback by her confession. That had been...very sudden. He felt bad that you had to face that kind of problem with your family. Before asking if you want to share more, he decides to comfort you first, if you allow it, of course. He knows when someone needs comfort because there were times when he needed it but didn't get any. He'll wrap an arm around your shoulders and pull you closer to him, caressing your back, still having a serious expression on his face. Mainly because he could not understand how someone as wonderful as you had to go through that.
- From this point on, Katakuri takes it as a mission to show you all the other beautiful and enjoyable things in life that you might have missed out on because of your family.
- Also, he will always ask you to enjoy some sweets with him, it will become a routine. One time, he gets a bit carried away and puts a hand on your shoulder and says with a caring tone "Why don't you stick with me for now? I promise you that you'll be treated better."

It's not like any other love | S.S. | Part 5
— PAIRING: dark!Sebastian Sallow x F!MC
— SYNOPSIS: Sebastian finally gets what he wants, although not in the way in which he expected to. A sacrifice is made, and it's MC making it for him. The Avada Kedavra part of the story.
— WARNINGS: Nothing, unless you count the murder
— WORDCOUNT: 4k
— A/N: Here it is, the final chapter. Thank you for sticking with me to the end, my dears! This one is admittedly very rushed, so I’m sorry about that. I was a bit over-eager to end this story, and I went through a few versions of it in my head (who casts AK, and on whom; some endings were sadder than others). I hope you can find some enjoyment in it anyway 💚
Tumblr media
Winter settled all around them. The warm autumn afternoons were long gone and the days grew shorter, the nights longer, and throughout it, Sebastian was as troubled as ever — about his sister, about Ominis, about their friend…
He couldn’t forget the look Ominis gave him as they got out of their beds that morning after his heated dream. When the Gaunt boy realised Sebastian was awake and had gotten up from his bed, Ominis blushed to the tips of his ears, threw a scathing narrowing of the eyes in his direction, and promptly turned away. He avoided him at breakfast too, and it wasn’t until the next afternoon that he spoke to Sebastian again. Feeling guilty, Sebastian didn’t speak to him either, nor to anyone else that day. He felt as if his embarrassing lusts from the night before were dragged behind him like a shadow, however irrational this may have been. And while everyone else might not have known in truth, he was certain Ominis did, somehow. Perhaps he had just been pretending to sleep, or perhaps heard something… His hearing was especially sharp, and the more Sebastian thought about it, the more likely it seemed.
But there was nothing to do about it anymore. If Ominis knew, he knew. And if the girl knew… Well, how could she? Unless she remembered what he made her do while under Imperio.
In between working on homework for Defence Against the Dark Arts, Sebastian leafed through books on Unforgivable Curses and tried to find out how likely it was for Imperio victims to remember what they did. There seemed to be no definitive answer, and it rather varied from person to person. It was an issue which was bound to be confounded — or so said the consensus from magical researchers — by victims who were so ashamed of what they had done that they merely pretended not to remember.
Was that what happened with her? Was she so ashamed? She never sat next to him during classes anymore, and avoided his eyes on most days — although when Sebastian managed to catch her gaze, she always smiled sweetly, bashfully at him. He gave her some time, gave himself some time, and ceased all contact for a while. It gave him the chance to focus on his research into the relic.
To his surprise, it was Ominis who brought her up again.
“Have you two had a fight?” he asked one evening while they were reading by the fireplace.
“Who?”
“You know who.”
Sebastian kept quiet and turned back to his book, already feeling blood blooming in his cheeks and his throat constricting.
“Well?” asked Ominis again. Clearly, he was in one of his more relentless moods that night.
“No, we haven’t,” Sebastian snapped. “Everything’s fine. Why?”
“Just asking,” hummed Ominis, sounding not very convinced. “She’s not upset with you, is she?”
Sebastian gave a trembling sigh that tried to hide his fear but managed only to reveal it. “Why would she be upset with me?”
“I can think of a number of reasons,” Ominis smirked. “I’m sure you can, too.”
“Leave it be, Ominis,” he grumbled. “I’m not in the mood.”
His friend looked like he was about to say something, but took pity on him at the last moment.
Sebastian saw them again throughout the following days: Ominis and her, talking in the corridors, spending time by the windows of the great lake, leaving breakfast together… What they talked about in their little whispers, he could not grasp, and he wasn’t sure he wanted to.
The only thing that could distract him from his misery was research into the relic, and he was rewarded with a breakthrough in November. His first thought was to reach out to his friend again. She did like her adventures outside of the castle, and this was an excuse to steal some of her time for himself.
“If it’s in this catacomb, I have to find it,” he said as they stood outside, cold air billowing their school robes.
“I’m ready,” she said with calm resolution.
“By the way, Ominis has been asking about you. You didn’t tell him what we were doing, did you?”
“I didn’t, I promise,” she said immediately.
He couldn’t tell if she was lying. Well, if Ominis had known, he’d probably have had a hard time keeping it to himself — for all of his decorum, the Gaunt boy could hardly hide his feelings... But Sebastian didn’t trust them yet, either of them. In fact, the more he studied Slytherin’s notes, the more his suspicions grew concerning his dealings with his friends, as well as their dealings with each other. It was as if a subtle curse was cast over his mind, but Sebastian was certain that once they’d find the relic and put it to use, and Anne was well again, he could leave all this behind and everything could go back to how it was.
“Good. Ominis would be livid if he knew what we were about to do,” he warned.
The catacomb was crawling with spiders, a maze of dusty old bones and slippery slopes and puzzles, haunted at every step by strange noises that echoed from the most unexpected angles, but together, they could reach the end. It was remarkably easy with a few simple spells, and he wondered whether this would have been considered more advanced in the time of Slytherin’s student.
All thoughts melted from Sebastian’s mind, however, once they finally found the relic. He felt as if his heart could leap in his chest, and his friend beside him seemed as convinced as he was that they should take the relic. They looked at each other and agreed, and he felt like he could kiss her, really kiss her…
But they hardly touched the item when they heard someone entering the chamber behind them. The green school robes and tallow hair and red echo of the wand revealed it to be Ominis.
“I’m sorry, Ominis, but I’m taking it,” said Sebastian.
“If you won’t put it back, then I will,” he said.
“Hold on, both of you. Sebastian, please, take a step back.”
“Fine. But Ominis knows, I won’t step back from a fight.”
“Can’t believe this…” the boy sighed.
Sebastian paced along the far wall of the catacomb, so close to his goal, and so close to losing it. He watched his two friends discuss it, catching only fragments of their conversation… It was so like how it used to be when he and Ominis were causing trouble with Anne all over Hogwarts, and yet it was so different now without her. He didn’t wish to fight his oldest friend, but he wasn’t sure he could hold himself back from it if it came to that…
Fortunately, it didn’t.
The girl came back, triumphant if a little fearful, while behind her Ominis paced just as restlessly but defeated, standing back to let them pass.
“What happened back there?” said Sebastian as they made their way out, too shocked to be grateful yet.
“Ominis and I found a compromise.”
He had expected anything else: threats, blackmail, even for her to use Imperio, but not for the boy to fold so quickly. Sebastian was struck at first by envy of the sway she held over his other friend, of the care she must have felt for him to solve this peacefully at any cost, and then the usual suspicions reared their myriad heads of what was going on between the two that he didn’t know about.
“Ominis simply needs a moment with you and he’ll change his mind. Is that it?” said Sebastian with a bite as they ran together out of the catacomb.
“I told him we ought to give you this chance — that the relic is too important to ignore.”
“There has to be more to it than that. Tell me.”
She looked at him and her eyes hid nothing — not her hurt at his suspicion, not the joy that they had made off with the relic, not the spark of affection that was like a reflection of his own.
“We agreed on what was needed, Sebastian. You have my word.”
“How can I know you’re telling the truth?” he frowned. “I can never tell when you’re lying to me…”
“I’m not hiding anything from you,” she insisted, slowing down in their trek up through the tunnels as she held his gaze. “I’ve meant everything I’ve ever said to you, Sebastian.”
Her words circled through his mind the whole way to Feldcroft, and he found himself returning to them for a hidden meaning he sensed in them. That was put aside after they saw smoke coming from the little hamlet, and goblins attacking Anne and Uncle Solomon.
He didn’t regret what he did to protect her, and with his friend by his side, he felt all the more justified in fighting back, but his Uncle didn’t see it that way. A useless coward that couldn’t even protect his niece, couldn’t even protect himself…
And then, Sebastian was banished.
Days trailed by feverishly as he used all his spare time to cross-reference the student’s notes about the relic with books from the forbidden section of the library, and the closer he got to an answer, the more unhappy he was with it: while the relic promised not just a reversal but a complete control of the curse, it would only work back in the catacombs.
Sebastian wasted nights away trying to piece everything together in his head, from the nature of the relic and the sacrifice it required to the injustice of his uncle, Anne’s resentment, and the precarious friendship he found himself in with Ominis and the girl…
Then, an idea slipped into his mind without him even realising he had thought of it again — what she said in the catacomb, about her having meant everything she’d ever said to him… Was that her way of talking about what she did while under Imperio? The things she’d said to him, under his command…? It struck him like a knife in the heart, but of a most pleasurable kind — a sudden and piercing infatuation with her all over again, one that he could never hope to extract and live beyond it.
But what if that wasn’t what she meant? What if it was just another of his dreams, like so many wishful imaginings at night, a growth on the surface of a malignant fantasy…? He wished he didn’t have to wonder.
Sebastian had little time to waste in wondering, however. That could come later. Before Solomon took Anne away to some miserable place far away from him, he had to act fast, and neither Anne nor Ominis seemed keen to help. He realised only once he was deep in the catacomb, surrounded by Inferi, that he should have asked her to join him all along. She could help control the living dead while he transferred the curse from Anne to one of them, as the dark sacrifice demanded. He was so close to curing Anne forever, and all his research was ready to pay off, he just needed Anne to stay with him a little longer…
And just as he was thinking of her again, after days of not seeing her, there she was.
“Sebastian!”
“I told you. The relic is the answer. I’ve been trying to reverse the dark magic that injured Anne, but this will allow me to control it. Just as I can control the Inferi…”
“Control…? I had to fight Inferi —”
She wasn’t halfway done with her reproach when Uncle Solomon arrived, as ill-tempered as a December wind and more furious than Sebastian had ever seen him. The old man’s fear from the day when he cowered, surrounded by smoke and goblins, was gone now. He took one look at the scene around him and hardly stopped to think before he summoned the relic straight out of Sebastian’s hand. Then, with a careless flick of his wand, it disappeared forever.
“No… The relic!”
Sebastian’s body barely caught up with his mind, but by the time it did, it was too late. Another hope for Anne, the last hope he had, vanished before his eyes. The Inferi around them, released from their trance, trained their icy eyes on the three of them immediately, but Sebastian was resolute now. If it was the last thing he did, he would make Solomon pay.
All of his silly duelling practices, all those late nights in the Undercroft, all the books he’d read on dark magic, everything gained a new meaning and purpose and Sebastian focused it on him. His father’s resentful brother, the failure of their family, not good enough to be an Auror, not good enough to be a father, and certainly the worst Uncle he and Anne could have. The man that gave his parents’ death a dual tragedy after it landed the lives of him and his twin in his hands… Sebastian blasted curse after curse at him, and meant every one. He could perform several wordlessly, the spells flying out of his wand as if it were part of his body, an extension of his mind, a channel for his pure desire for revenge.
The Inferi were drawing closer, and his friend did her best to keep them at bay. Sebastian had to fight them off if he hoped to finish that battle, all while dodging curses from Solomon.
Eventually, the battle turned. Encircled by Inferi, Sebastian blasted fire spells at them, and among the scent of dead burning flesh and their high screams, he heard the girl call for his name. She probably couldn’t see him anymore. Distantly he heard Solomon’s angry shouts as well, the same meaningless arrogant chastisement he had learned to ignore, and which today he hoped to shut up forever.
“Crucio!” a high voice called. It was the girl who cast it. With a dull thud and the cracking of bones, his Uncle fell to the ground, his grumbles replaced by harrowed screaming.
By the time Sebastian cleared out the Inferi around him, the girl was standing over Solomon, wand pointed at him, ready to cast it again. She seemed to lose focus of everything around her, her anger of a singular direction the sort of which he’d rarely seen from her.
“Bring back the relic!” she cried to the body of Solomon, huddling in pain. “Now!”
But it was no use, the man was senseless under the curse.
“Use Imperio!” Sebastian called out to her before he had to train his wand again at the Inferi and clear them out from around her.
He had never seen her use Crucio before. That day in the Scriptorium, she’d insisted he use it on her. Before today, he hadn’t thought her capable of it… So he was equally as surprised to see her cast Imperio as well on his uncle.
The old man rose to his feet, slowly, his body sapless under her spell. Even from where he stood, Sebastian could see her wand hand trembling, although he couldn’t say whether it was from fear or something else…
“Confringo!” yelled Sebastian, burning away the last of the Inferi as he made his way to her.
“Bring back the relic,” she ordered in a slow, steady voice.
And sure enough, Solomon raised his wand, presented his hand, but nothing materialised in it.
“You made it disappear, now bring it back!” she cried.
“It’s no use,” said Sebastian with a heartbroken realisation. “He didn’t just use the Vanishing spell. I think he… I think he broke it apart. I think it’s gone forever.”
“Is that what you did?” she asked the man.
“Yes,” said Solomon roughly. “You will never see it again.”
The girl’s shoulders fell, hopeless and tired, and she turned to Sebastian with a sorry look in her eyes. For his part, he felt an anger that was so still and boundless he thought he would never see the end of it, like a sarcophagus cast over his mind.
“I want him dead,” he said out loud. “I want him dead…”
“Sebastian,” she whispered tearfully. “You can’t, it’s… He’s your uncle.”
“And I’m his nephew, and he was ready to kill me. He was ready to kill you too, you saw him! If you hadn’t protected yourself, he would have hexed you to death countless times today.”
“I know, but…”
“And he’s doomed Anne, and I… I don’t know what to do anymore. I don’t know what to do other than kill him.”
“But how will Anne feel about it?”
“And what about how I feel about it?” he asked before he could think, hands trembling with fury, wand crackling with unspoken spells in his grip. “Because of him, my sister will never heal, and I have wasted everything I had trying to help her, and now he tried to kill you and me, and… and…”
He didn’t trust himself to speak, and he didn’t like to say it again, but he wished with everything he had that Solomon had never entered their lives. The only way to fix what happened, and it was hardly a fix at all, was to get rid of him, forever.
Sebastian raised his wand, looking straight at his uncle. He avoided the pleading eyes of the girl beside him, so small and quiet now that the catacomb chamber was dead all around them. He didn’t wish to see her eyes again and the fear, the disappointment in them. A part of Sebastian knew that he would regret what he was about to do, but there was time for that later. He could not live with himself if he let Solomon free from that place.
“Avada Kedavra!”
Before Sebastian could speak the curse that took his uncle’s life, another voice rang out. The girl had cast it herself. It was the third Unforgivable Curse she had cast that day.
The fat old corpse crumpled before them, and Sebastian turned to her in terror and awe. Her wand clattered on the ground and she covered her mouth with her hands, stuck in a breathless gasp.
“What did you do?” asked Sebastian with wonder.
“He’s dead?” she asked weakly.
“Yes, he’s — how did you know the curse?!”
“I learned it on my own. I convinced Ominis to show me some of the books you’ve read, I thought it would be useful, but… Oh Sebastian, you’re not angry with me?” she asked as she began to cry.
“No!” he said quickly as he took two large steps toward her and wrapped his arms around her shoulders. “Not at all, but why would you—?”
“I didn’t want you to do it,” she sobbed into his shoulder. “I couldn’t let you be the one to do it. I hated him for what he did to you, I wanted to punish him, I— I wanted him gone.”
“He’s gone now,” he whispered, cupping her head while he looked at the corpse beside them. The girl’s arms encircled him and held on to him tightly.
He never would have guessed that she could do it, that she, who could not even cast Imperio on him, would kill for him, had killed for him… Sebastian did not know what to think anymore.
“Why would you do that for me?” he whispered as he held her. The girl said nothing as she buried her sobs into his neck. Gingerly, he cupped her cheek and pulled her back to look into her eyes. “Why would you do that for me?” he asked again.
“I love you,” she said as if it explained everything — and it did.
Sebastian only realised that he was smiling when she smiled back, red-rimmed tearful eyes crinkling with unexpected joy. He pulled her face toward him, kissed her dry and salty lips, and said what he had long wanted to say.
“I love you too.”
They laughed madly together, giggles echoing throughout the catacombs strewn with bones and corpses — but his mind was far away from all of that, and he could tell hers was too.
“For the longest time, I thought you didn’t,” said Sebastian. “I mean, I wasn’t sure how you felt about me, but…”
“I did,” she nodded. “Love you. For quite a while now.”
“Since when?”
“I suppose since you protected me in the library,” she grinned.
Sebastian chuckled. “I’ve loved you longer, then. Ever since you first beat me in a duel.”
She laughed and shook her head at him, but finally looked at him with the adoration he’d only seen from her in his dreams, an open and vulnerable look that he could feel swallowing him whole, drinking him in, taking him somewhere deep inside her where he could rest. He thought he looked the same way at her…
“Sebastian” she winced, “what are we going to do about— ?”
“The corpse?”
“Ominis said he was going to inform Professor Black that you were here and that you had a family feud of some sort. They could arrive at any minute.”
“Is that why Solomon was here?”
“No, Anne had gone to tell him.”
“Oh Anne,” he groaned.
“We have to do something. Can we… can we…”
Sebastian looked down at the body. It had some signs of combat from when the three of them had fought, but any examination would reveal none of them to have been fatal. That would doubtlessly cause suspicion, and the suspicion would fall on them.
“Here’s what we’ll do.”
They climbed up to a higher ledge from where they could see the whole chamber, and with repeated spells bombarded the ceiling until it gave way and collapsed. Heavy stones fell on Uncle Solomon’s corpse until they could hardly see it. A trickle of blood muddied the earth beneath him, still warm. It would have to do.
“We’ll say he came to find us and we had to fight the Inferi together, but there were too many and he told us to escape. The spells he used caused a tragic cave-in, and he heroically saved Feldcroft from attack by any escaped Inferi.”
“Do you think they’ll believe us?” she asked, arms wrapped around herself in a tight hug. The room was dark and filled with dust as the fallen rocks settled in the room before them.
“It will be the most convenient answer for everyone. Nobody wants to think that a pair of 5th-years know the killing curse, or are capable of anything like it,” he said darkly. Then, turning toward her, Sebastian held her face in his hands and focused all of her attention on him. “You can not tell anyone what truly happened here.”
“Yes,” she nodded.
“This has to be our secret. It will be our secret for the rest of our lives and we will have to carry it together. Forever. Otherwise,” he said, taking a deep breath to gain the courage to say what followed, “otherwise I’m not sure I could protect you.”
“Yes,” she said in a small voice, the gravity of her actions sending a shiver through her whole body.
“But you don’t have to worry about anything,” he smiled. “We love each other, don’t we?”
“Yes, of course…”
“And as long as we have that, nothing bad will happen.”
She swallowed the knot in her throat as she stared into his eyes, her whole body suddenly drained of all warmth. She said nothing, but neither did she deny anything he’d just said. She could not afford to.
“Don’t worry, sweetheart. I’ll protect you. I love you,” Sebastian said, more of a whisper to himself than something meant for her to hear. The hunger that had built up inside of him all these months — for her affection, for her touch, for her sweet words and gazes and attention — finally had a hope of being satisfied. He leaned in and chastely kissed her cheek, licking the traces of dried tears from her skin. “I love you…”

Hello! Hope you’re having a swagalicious time of day! Just wanted to ask what’s you’re writing process when coming up with funny little jokes/gags? When inspiration strikes from some random scenario that pops in my head I usually tend to write it down in some notes app, essentially saving it for later. Do comedic ideas just pop up when in the process of writing for a particular setting, or do you try to incorporate previous unused joke ideas into your work? Also what’s your favourite type of snack? (hopefully something better than oatmeal raisin), personally I like popcorn , it’s got an onomatopoeia in it and a vegetable at the same time! Pretty crazy stuff!
Very swagalicious!
I'd say the majority of the jokes I've written were in the writing process, as I was going. I think there's something really special about trusting that you'll find the humor in what you're writing as you go.
First that comes to mind is in s3e10, the first Indefinite rejoin episode. I block out some space ahead of time in an outline for reintroducing the former contestants with a few goals regarding what I'd like to re-establish about them, their relationships, and their scenario on the island. The Sinkers are a united/supportive front, Cabby is cold with them, Goo invites himself into Cabby's world, the've been waiting for news for a while and are confused, etc etc. MePhone's not there yet, the competition hasn't started, I just need to find a vehicle to explore this.
While writing out the convo about what the contestants guess will happen next, I happen to think it's funny to have Blueberry hope for "an explosion." Then I make myself chuckle at the thought of Walkie Talkie bringing that to the next level by actually doing a countdown. I tell myself it's stupid, aaaand run with it anyway, to see how it plays. And then I end up finding that's a neat way to show the contestants actually display the exact goals I mentioned earlier, via comedic stress. Lifering and Tea Kettle have a strong rapport and game-plan that they rope Blueberry into, Blueberry is defeatist about it all, Cabby is skeptical and cements herself in her isolation, and Goo tries to make a connection- all elements that come back later in the episode. Nothing crazy on a story-telling level, but that's the mindset. Once-written, the scene made me laugh, and I ended up sticking with the scene after it was written.
On the flip side, sometimes I go through a whole sequence like this, realize that my direction for conveying the info for the scene is not fun like it was intended to be, aaaand I just scrap the scene and start over. If you hear that "writing is re-writing," a lot of it relates back to this initial idea I mentioned that writing is a process. There's a thousand ways to convey the idea you want to get across. Sometimes it's worth seeing if you can write a scene with the same starting and ending points, but with a more-enjoyable middle to get you there. Maybe you'll like it more, maybe you won't.
Back to the original question, once in a blue moon I'll have a joke in my head ahead-of-time. In s3e6 there's a short scene basically devoted to the silly joke about Silver not knowing what a penny is. It's dumb, but I felt determined to get it in there. Or sometimes it's something more broad, like s3e4's "You are Cordially Invited" scene transitions, that can be funny but are also jumping-off points. Such as using that transition after a while of being away from it to cut off Inner-Flame-Candle mid-explanation and not letting Silver hear the answer to his Inner-Flame question. A little funny, a little sad.
...
Aaaaaaaaand chocolate. Any kind of chocolate that I'm not allergic to is the best snack. There's never enough of it.

Notes:
This is my first avatar fanfiction so i hope you enjoy it. This might start out slow and then pick up from their. Also this fanfiction is for enjoyment purposes so the story line will differ a bit. *Also i do not own avatar or its characters*
Tumblr media
Chapter 1
(Sorry this chapter will be based more on y/n and how she joined the sully family. *Also you may change your fathers name, i just picked one cuz (f/n) looked weird to me*)
"Hurry up kid" Quartrich hissed in a menacing voice as he pushed me, making me almost fall. "Well if you wanted me to walk faster you could take these off" I hissed back as i lifted my hands that were covered by some handcuffs, blocking my fingers so i wouldnt be able to grab anything or anyone. "Shut up and keep walking" He snapped, not bothering to look at me, as he passed me i mimicked him. It wasn't long before we came to a stop where an abandoned trailer was being covered by vines and nature, there was also a robot on the ground with what appeared to be an arrow sticking out of it. Quaritch seemed to know where we were as he told us to stop and he looked around, I found a nice place to rest and sat down.
We had been here for about a minute and i started to sense eyes, they weren't menacing but scared. 'I hope thats not a Sully' I thought to myself, after being brought here of my own accord they told me that i was to help capture Jake Sully and his family. Since my tracking and spying skills were compared to an expert adult, they tried to brainwash me to help them. 'To bad for them, my father told me to never betray Jake Sully or anyone else. Or he would haunt me with his spirit until my death' A shiver ran own my spine as I remember how scary he would be at times, as i came back to my surroundings i noticed that only some of the soldiers were with me and the rest were gone.
Then i heard some shouts from the forest, it didnt take long for quaritch to come out with 3 blue kids and one human boy. They all tried to break free but failed, they shoved the two boys next to me and kept a hold of the two other girls for bait. The kids looked confused as i tried to greet them, but failed since it just looked like i lifted my hands. "Hey brat, no talking with the rest. And dont you dare to plan an escape, or ill shoot you" Quartrich said as he hit my head with the back of his gun "I'll rather commit seppuku then let the likes of you kill me" I snapped back, earning another hit but this time on the side of my cheek, which resulted in a cut on my lip and some bruising "Shut up" He said as he walked away "Ass" I muttered as i turned to look at the kids, who now looked a bit scared. But i noticed that their hands weren't completely covered like mine so i got an idea.
"Hey, can you reach this" I whispered as i slowly got close to the human boy, he seemed on guard but still looked at what i was pointing. "Yes, why?" He asked not trusting my intentions, made sense since i was with the enemy "Its a knife, use it to cut off those things." I whispered again, as i looked around i motioned for him to hurry in case a soldier came. The kid looked at the blue kid before taking the knife and quickly cutting the cuffs. "Alright now pretend to still have them around, ill make a distraction so you guys can run" I said before standing up and walking towards the guy that had the little girl "Hey man I think your being to rough there, why dont you relax?"
I said with a chuckle making the guy mad as he pointed his gun at me now and lowered the girl a bit "Shut up Y/n-" Before he could finish his sentence an arrow went through his face, from then arrows and bullets started to fly "Shit" I muttered as i tried to invade the stray bullets, as i hid behind the old robot i saw a soldier run after the little girl "You gotta be kidding me" I huffed as i quickly stood up and ran towards him, before the man could grab her i slammed my cuffed hands on his head. Making him pass out, the little girl turned to look at me scared "You okay kid?" I asked as she nodded, i heard more poeple coming this way so i muttered sorry before grabbing her as i started to run "Do you know which way you need to go?" I asked as i ran and tried to not fall, she pointed in a direction and soon i stopped as i saw the kids and their parents. As they saw me with the girl they pointed their weapons at me,
"Woah, chill out mr.Sully" I said as i put the girl down and she ran to her parents "Stop, she helped me" She begged her parents as she hugged her mother "She's with the enemy" Her mother hissed as she was now ready to let go of the arrow "Hey do you really think they would handcuff me if i was with them?" I asked as i lifted my hands still very much cuffed "Maybe its a trap" The woman said, she seemed to not want to do anything with me
"Mom it's true, those guys even treated her worse than they did with us" The blue boy who had been captured spoke up as he walked up to her "Then if your not cooperating why were you with them?" Jake finally asked as he took a step forward "They dragged me to this planet and tried to brainwash me to help.....you know you do look like the description my father told me. Just blue, and taller." I said as i sat down, I hadn't noticed before from all the adrenaline but i had gotten hit on my thigh. It wasnt deep nor on any nerves, but it began to hurt.
I guess mentioning my father saved my life "Who is your father?" Jake asked intrigued as he examined me "Leo (l/n)" I said as i tried to break the cuffs by slamming them on the ground "You are Leo's kid?" Jake asked as he lowered his gun, shocked at the news "I know, its hard to believe a man like him would have kids." I chuckled as gave up on getting the cuffs off
"By the way can you remove these? And also the tracker that's on my shoulder" I said as i rose up, the woman didnt seem convinced still as she stopped jake. But jake whispered to her and continued to come towards me "I mean if you want i can keep the cuffs, just remove this damn tracker" I said as i moved the shoulder that had the chip, jake took out his knife and moved my shirt colar to see where the chip was. Luckily there seemed to be a scar where they had placed it so jake took it off quickly and smashed it.
"Neytiri take the kids and go back home, I'll take this one to the lad to get a checkup" Jake said as neytiri sighed reluctantly before nodding and walking away with their kids "Im sure you've noticed but they are after you mr.Sully, they are also targeting your wife but mostly you" I said as i followed jake "Yea i could tell, do you know anything else?" He asked "Other than wanting to capture you and basically take over pandora....No, they had me locked in a room since i wouldn't cooperate" We continued to talk as we got to the place he was taking me, as we got their we were greeted by some humans who i assumed were the scientist who had stayed behind. They examined me before taking off my cuffs "Man it feels great to finally move my fingers" I said with a chuckle as i stretched and popped them
"Y/n i brought a change of clothes, jake said that you will be joining him so i brought na'vi tradicional clothes" Norm said as he layed down some of the cloths smiliar to what jake and his family were wearing, he smiled before leaving the room to give me some privacy "Guess its better than what im currently wearing" I muttered as i took off my clothes and started changing, it didnt look bad with the avatar body but boy did it feel uncomfortable.
The thing that bothered me the most was the scars on the side on my ribs. I had gotten it while trying to escape from a car, but failed as I got stuck and got dragged on the ground for a while. The wound was pretty big but luckily the scar was smaller. I also had some from a few cuts here and there. Once I was done seeing myself in the mirror I exited the room. "So did any of my knifes carry chips?" I asked norm as I walked up to the table where the pile of knifes were "Nope, I scanned them and nothing showed up so they are good to go"
Norm said not turning away from the screen, I grabbed my knifes and started to strap them. Two went on my waist and the other two were hidden knifes that went around my wrists (assassins creed reference). Once norm was done examining whatever was on the screen he turned to look at me "Woah, that's a big scar" Norm gasped "Haha yea, I got it while trying to escape. Didn't turn out the way I wanted it to" I chuckled
Afterwards norm showed me and gave me a simple paragraph of my health. Overall he said I was healthy and didn't have any problems. "Are you sure you'll be fine going back alone? It's gotten dark and Pandora is dangerous at night" Norm said worriedly as I exited the building, he followed me as he put on a mask. "I'll be fine, I want adventure. Being in a cell for a while really made my body tense, I'll be sure to keep my surroundings in check" I said with a smile as norm sighed before handing me a map "But if you die I won't take responsibility"
He said as I started to walk away and waved goodbye. Norm didn't go back inside until he saw I had completely vanished into the jungle.

I don't know if I can ask you or not. But if I could ask, I would want to know what the TSC, TCO, TDL in hero uniform look like? I have imagined what they will look like. But I still want to know how they look like.
All asks are very much welcomed!! ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶
I believe I answered another ask similar to this, but I tried to find it and couldn't. Tumblr ate it??
Someone asked me once a few weeks ago about whether or not Black and Velvet had matching uniforms/costumes and I explained the whole thing. But now that I try and find it I can't! Tumblr what did you do to my ask??
Does anyone else remember this ask? Am I just going insane? [I say this like I have an ounce of sanity left in me in the first place]
Anyway, so~
Chosen has a tight fitting, long sleeved shirt with a high collar that fits snug against his neck and blends in with the scarf. I have described the scarf in story, but here I go again for reminder.
All three Ladybug hollowheads have matching scarves that wrap around the mouth and nose, and they each have a snap at the back of their heads so there isn't excess scarf length getting in the way.
Chosen has fairly plain and undetailed black pants that are also tight-fitting. He dislikes loose fabric most of the time, though the bottom of his pants flare out slightly.
Dark bears a tight fitting vest with no sleeves, but has an undershirt that has long sleeves, giving him a bit more of a layered look. He also has a short cloak sort of circular, reminiscent to the picture below.

It has an asymmetrical length to it, but the split is perfectly in the middle, right below his neck, so he can reach to grab the topmost button easily. Dark has a grand total of ten golden-red, shiny metallic buttons that can balloon up into button bots. The topmost button is Ted, Dark's favorite of the spider-like bots.
Dark additional has a deep red belt with a short armoured pouch on his right, containing his phone for easy access during combat or just in-costume activities in general. (Chosen keeps his phone in a zippered pocket on his left back pants pocket.)
I already did a very detailed explanation for Second's attire in-story, so I'll mostly skip explanation for him. Sec does have two high buttons on the top of his shirt, similar in design to Dark's but they don't have robot capabilities. Dark just made Second's button look like his own because he's... he's Dark, whatta you expect. XD
I believe that is the gist of it, but do follow up if I missed a detail you wanted to know more about, I seriously love answering asks!!
It's fun to interact and bond with audience members and other such enjoyers of the Super Sticks story. 😊
I am also SO SORRY I answered this so many hours after you asked.
I noticed it appear in my inbox RIGHT AWAY since I was in Tumblr at the moment, but got interrupted halfway through answering and had to deal with a busy real-life schedule.
But now it's done!
Thank you for your ask!
Edit:
The aforementioned ask I previously couldn't find, has now been located.

Due to the amount of sexual content and dreams I have had throughout my teenage years, I barely felt like I qualified to be labeled as asexual. I’ve had a medium/medium-high libido for most of my life and have always been very attracted to fictional characters, so I assumed that I didn’t qualify as asexual , despite never having felt sexual attraction to a single REAL person once in my life. I felt lame and behind the trend for being a virgin at 19 so I decided to push myself and go on Grindr just to “get it over with”. I was successful and gave and received. It wasn’t a bad experience whatsoever, and the man I hooked up with was very kind and trans friendly, but later that night I laid in bed and replayed the events in my head. It made me realize that sex isn’t really enjoyable whatsoever if you feel no sexual attraction to your partner. I was not aroused, I couldn’t take his dirty talk seriously (I thought it was kinda funny ngl), and when he penetrated me, i was like “yeah, this feels like someone is sticking an object into a crevice of my body”. Not pleasurable, just robotic. Honestly, the more days that passed after the hookup, the more and more I became turned off by the thought of sex. It just isn’t for me; and that’s okay! Sex is very natural, but definitely not for everyone, and that’s completely normal. So, for all you dickwads out there saying “Maybe you’d like it if you just tried it!” GUESS WHAT, I DID AND NOW MY LIBIDO IS 5X LOWER THAN IT USUALLY IS. I am literally more uncomfortable with sex now than I used to be. The media makes sex out to be some epic event, but when you experience REALISTIC sex, it’s like “damn wtf was that” (at least that’s my opinion). I feel even more asexual now than I did before hand. Moral of the story, if you feel asexual and you don’t feel the need to have sex, DONT. You know yourself best and don’t need to try something to know if you’ll like it or not. Sometimes, you just know.

Watched Nimona recently and although it was a fairly enjoyable film and I would still recommend a watch. I got a bunch of thoughts about its ending and themes and how despite it trying to build itself up as this cool queer anticop story it fails to stick the landing and instead suffers from Treasure Planet syndrome. I've decided to ramble it out under the keep reading link so spoilers for Nimona starts there
So this movie is built upon a "knight system" which is established to be an obvious cop parallel, where the knights are essentially the police of this world. The allegory doesn't stop at the job description however, as the movie takes a bold move and introduces this system as very corrupt early on; from the main character being framed by a high-ranking, police-adjacent authority, to revealing that the entire system was built on false hatred and intolerance, to Nimona outright stating that it doesn't end at the true perpetrator, but that "the WHOLE system is corrupt". Time and time again we are given proof of how the knights, whether purposefully or not, hurt, indoctrinate, and brainwash the innocent. This is a great message, and they did an excellent job of carrying it throughout the runtime until doing a sudden 180 at the end. Not only do we see the cop system still in place, with knights in universe portrayed clearly on screen, but they're painted as good with a member playing soccer with a child. They tried to reject corruption by denouncing their founder, yet they still intend to perpetuate the job built to maintain her ideals from the ground up.
Despite attempting to dive into more meaningful territory with a daring dive into a serious modern problem, the ending they gave us was palatable and conveniently perfect in a way that satisfies everyone on a shallow level, which only works with a message that's equally shallow and inoffensive. This sort of trying to have cake and eat it too conclusion is what I refer to when saying Treasure Planet syndrome, as watching the movie gave me deja vu for the same faults- because, while Treasure Planet attempts to weave a unique and subversive narrative that touches upon deeper subjects which would lead up to an unconventional yet impactful end, what they finished with was jarringly standard hogwash where they attempted to tie lose ends in a conventionally pretty, corporate-ceo approved bow. For example, one of if not the main plot of the movie was Jim Hawkins addressing his trauma regarding an absent father that abandoned him and his mom at an early age, finding a better father figure in John Silver and gradually healing from his past with a better role model. Yet at the end, the cycle repeats itself as John ends up leaving (just like Jim's father) with narry a negative emotion from Jim. Jim then goes to cop academy where, despite his journey being about rejecting societal expectations and gaining self-improvement and growth through his own means, he becomes an A-Plus goody-two shoes cop loving poster boy in no time. The syndrome also hits particularly hard with Captain Amelia and Doctor Doppler, where despite their relationship being a man and woman, it still openly rejects heteronormativity with natural romantic progression (no love at first site bullshit) that involves Amelia being way more masculine and competent than Doppler and him being the well meaning yet gullible scientist. Even the way they flirt is subversive, with Amelia calling Doppler's eyes beautiful (a traditionally feminine descriptor) rather than the instigation being made by the man. Yet at the end, heteronormativity hits as Doppler is shown suddenly more assertive and masculine as he dips Amelia in a dance, not to mention their children fall into the trop of the girls looking exactly like the mother and the boy looking exactly like the father (Also. they put a bunch of makeup on the baby girls????). In short, Treasure Planet Syndrome is writing a subversive plot/story that ends abruptly in a palatable perfect way that sacrifices both natural progression and its messages in an effort to create a more appealing happy end. A movie that I think actually LANDED its subversive storyline was Strange World, where it successfully carried through with it's deeper narrative and provided a slightly uncomfortable yet incredibly understandable and meaningful ending.
One last thing before I stop my ramble- the queer rep in Nimona is pretty bad. I mean don't get me wrong, the main character (who is canonically mlm) is fine and I'm always happy to see upfront representation in my media, but the man he was saddle with as his boyfriend treats him terribly throughout most of the movie, to the point where I was genuinely shocked seeing them together at the end. His boyfriend is this nepotism golden child who's beloved by everyone and so neck deep in the corrupt system that he: slices off the mc's arm (just says a vague sorry later), spends most of the movie refusing to trust or believe him, spends most of the movie trying to hunt him down and arrest him, easily succumbs to peer pressure when it comes down to hurting him, prefers to stay loyal to the system rather than his bf, barely questions the situation, and refuses to listen to his bf provide him with explanations or answers. Even the MC recognizes how much he hurt him, because he ends up outright BREAKING UP WITH HIM and begging him to leave him alone, only to get back with him at the end like nothing ever happened. I want a happy ending for canon queer couples as much as the next guy, but if they wanted a happy end, why did the write the love interest to be so awful? They could've made him question the motives of his superiors and the entire situation more, he could've gone out of his way to seek out an explanation before forming his own conclusion, he could've made more attempts to break the rules for harm reduction, to try and understand what happened, hell to try and TALK to the MC- it's really baffling how they tried to paint this as true love when what should've happened is the MC getting a better spouse. I see this as an extension of Treasure Planet syndrome and trying to have and eat cake at the same time mentality, to say I wasn't surprised when I discovered this movie was written by the people behind modern She-Ra would be an understatement.

I may have finally unlocked the thing what turns my unhealthy overproductive causes-me-burnout creativity into enjoyable creativity - and it's called working off of vibes.
In the past I've tried just taking breaks from being creative, but that never works. Doing things other than being creative just feels like I've put myself in time out from the thing I actually like doing. Ultimately, I want to be creative. I love making art! I love writing stories! I genuinely get life from being my artistic self like.... all the heckin' time. It's all I genuinely want to do is make stuff. What I don't get life from is making it a grind. Working to rigid schedules, focusing on daily goals and - oh my lord, I despise the push to monetize it. I'm leaning hard away from that these days, and I'm not sure how far I'll ultimately take my aversion to pursuing profit from my creative ventures. It doesn't make me significantly happier to make money off of it (even though sometimes it's necessary, like when disaster strikes and I don't readily have four digits in the bank account to fix whatever's exploded), especially when making money comes with added stress from things like figuring out the taxes on what I've made, and the horrors of the perpetual chase to make more money. The emotional balance trends towards the negative and I'm over it. So I'm attempting a vibes-based approach - doing things when it's good for me to, and in a way that is fun. Some of it's a bit of concerted de-programming: for example, my webcomic is a source of truly bad habits for no good reason. It exists only on my Patreon, and it is exceptionally obscure and always was. There is very little point in wearing myself out trying to pour twenty hours a week into a new page every single week just because one is supposed to stick to a schedule, but over the last decade or so I programmed myself very well to do just that. Getting out of that rut so that I can have a healthy relationship with it again is a fight, but I'm winning. I want to chase the short term happy of getting a new page queued up every Monday, but instead I'm refusing to do so. If the page is done, I queue it up a few days late. And then the next week a few days later than that. Always a different number of days, pushing it out of sync so that I can't fall back into routine and neither can my handful of readers. I did not ever promise them a schedule. A schedule is bad for me. Result? I (mostly) drew three pages this weekend and enjoyed it. They're not done, but I made a heck of a dent and didn't feel gross about it. I'll finish them over the course of the next week or so, in bits and pieces rather than forcing myself to sit still for hours at a time until the page is done. I should be stopping when I'm done. I'm also way happier with the art I'm making. I'm still churning it out quick, but the lack of self-imposed deadlines means that I can have fun with it. I'm doing similar things with my writing. It's nice when I can keep Alpha Base moving forward, but for the last while I've been muddling around in different directions than forward and it's actually getting the creative wheels spinning in my head better than the methodical one-step-in-front-of-the-other approach. If I have a hankering to jump elsewhere in the plot and write a scene, I do. If I need to explore an aspect of a character that technically falls into a prequel (because dang it, I'm starting to develop prequel material) then I go for that. If writing a drabble that might not even land in the book, or any of the book(s), is what I need, then I'm doing that, and it doesn't matter if I'm "ready" to or "there yet" - I'm just doing it. Vibes. It's all worthwhile.  Hell, I spent most of the weekend writing a purely fluff scene (me! writing fluff!) between two of my antagonists and I think that was one of the best ways to spend a weekend. I feel damn good about it and learned a ton about them both. I think I even know where in the book to put it, and I sure didn't when I started writing. Didn't know that would happen! Life's too short to spend turning everything into a dang job.  I just want to play. So to hell with it. We play.

Before I see even more posts and comments talking about the Fionna and Cake finale, I wanna write down my initial impressions before I see too much more analysis. I watched the episodes last night right before going to sleep, but now it’s the morning for me so I may not remember everything as exactly but it’s still relatively fresh.
Overall, I did enjoy both episode 9 and 10, the show in general was quite enjoyable. I did feel like the ending was underwhelming when I had just watched it, but on further thought, I think it did wrap up satisfyingly.
I think I might have just had the wrong expectations going in. I recall seeing a post that said something to the effect of “Tom Kenny said episode 9 was the most emotional thing he’s ever recorded.” When watching the last 2 episodes though, I kept waiting for a really emotional moment, although it never came. I don’t know if I had misremembered what the quote from Tom Kenny was or maybe it was a bullshit quote or what, but I think I setup the wrong expectations for the episode.
Also, just in general I haven’t watched that many currently ongoing shows that don’t dump whole seasons at a time for a while. So when someone like Fionna and Cake comes along where I’m actually excited each week for a new pair of episodes, I’m not very used to tempering my expectations. I don’t think I hyped myself that much though.
Anyways, to the actual ending, here’s my thoughts for Simon and Fionna + Cake separately.
For Simon, I think just a bit more time to connect everything together at the end would’ve been nice, but I think I enjoyed it a lot overall. Betty really hammered in that Simon fucked up a lot by leading him to the Casper and Nova story. For a man who already hate himself a lot and has been planning to essentially “kill” the Simon part of himself via wearing the crown, it’s a strange thing for Betty to hammer in his mistakes. I think it works though with what Betty follows it up with.
Even after all the mistakes and pain in their relationship with Betty being GOLB now, she still enjoys her memories of Simon. She values him and doesn’t let him put on the crown. She also helps save Fionna and Cake’s world, thereby making any decision with the crown just for himself.
So Simon essentially gets to ask himself if he’s worthwhile. Does his life matter? Even with all the mistakes he’s made throughout his life though, the answer is yes. He’s not a perfect father for Marceline, but he got to see the alternative of him not being around. We also only got a little bit of Marceline in episode 2, but what we did see was her happy. Then there’s Betty who, despite everything, still cared for him and valued him. Then of course there’s Fionna and Cake who spend most of the show warming up to and caring for Simon. Also want to mention that while their bond isn’t great, Finn does also care for Simon and tries to help him out.
Simon starts off the show hating his life. By the end though, I think they came to a satisfying way for Simon to care for himself.
Then there’s Fionna and Cake. I do think their situation does parallel some of Simon’s stuff. Similar to how Simon feels, they’re all “mistakes,” especially Fionna. We start off seeing her struggles to keep a job and find happiness in her life. Then there’s the fact that her and Cake spend most of the show being chased by some god-like bug guy who wants to annihilate for being a “mistake.”
We also see them make mistakes in their journey to find the crown. Like the whole “attacking innocent candy people” thing definitely isn’t very great. Or them just watching BMO kill themselves. They also didn’t do great in helping the war against Vampires.
Despite their mistakes and flaws however with both themselves and their world, by the end, they still chose to stick by their world and make the most of it. Fionna and Cake have had each other the whole way through and they’ve made friends along the way in life like Gary and Simon.
My main problem is that I don’t feel like they did enough to show why Fionna and Cake still want to live in their normal world. While Fionna I think did have moments of “hey, I don’t think this whole magic and adventure thing is really for me,” I don’t feel like they focused that much on her alternative of living in her current world. That is until the very end of the show at which point, it felt rushed.
Edit: Thinking about it more, I do think there was quite a bit of Fionna and Cake realizing that a “magical world” isn’t the perfect solution to their problem. It wasn’t just a few moments of Fionna going “oh maybe this isn’t great.”
As much as I enjoyed seeing Marshall and Gary’s romance unfold, I think it could’ve helped to show flashbacks of Fionna and Cake instead. Those segments did help me get invested in their world and a lot of the show already helped make me invested in Fionna and Cake, but I didn’t feel invested in them being in their own world. So I think having flashbacks for Fionna and Cake instead would’ve helped connect them back to their world more to setup the finale better, while still taking the time to make us care for the world in general.
Anyways, I liked the show overall. I did enjoy the stories both overall and episode-by-episode. There was also some good laughs in there and I thought the presentation was really great. I remember first hearing about this show and not really being that interested as despite having watched all of Adventure Time (especially a lot when growing up), I felt content with what we had. So I’m somewhat surprised by how into Fionna and Cake I got. On the other hand though, I did wear a Jake hat for fucking years in elementary school partly because I loved Adventure Time so much so I guess it shouldn’t be that surprising.

this is a great interview with jakub dobeš, who's going to be one of two goalies starting the year in laval. based on this interview i would not be surprised if he challenges preems for the starter's position (there's a whole segment about how he just wants to play and his goal is always to win the starter's position, even if he doesn't start out there).
i loved listening to this. jakub/dobey/dobes is a really mature kid and his story is not uncommon but still really impressive. he came to the united states at age 15, by himself, from czech; he didn't speak english at all. he's currently quite fluent and comfortable expressing himself. my impression of him from this interview was that he's got a dry sense of humor, he's a little quirky (of course, he's a goalie) and he's VERY driven. he seems like he will be a great fit in laval/the general group we have.
some things i loved:
he talks about how when he was a kid he gravitated towards defense or goaltending, but as soon as his coach saw he was interested in goal, he gave him some pads. and then he said something like "i've been stuck there for eighteen years now"
his dad is a former goaltender and his mom is a figure skater...
they basically told him he could focus on school, or focus on hockey, but whatever he wanted to do they were going to make sure he was going to be doing his 100% best at it. this whole conversation about the way they raised him and view his performance was really interesting to me. it's definitely not very "american," but he speaks of them as his team and does seem appreciative of the ways that they've pushed him. like it's a fine line they haven't crossed over to the wrong side if that makes sense.
there was an extensive part of the interview about his visualization that i found really fascinating; he does it when he's bored and it sounds like what he focuses on is both visualizing hockey plays (he tries to imagine every variation, including his own passes and stickhandling) as well as the future (he says he has visualized lifting the stanley cup probably at least 50,000 times or 4x a day...!) the way he described his mind and being able to picture and populate these visions in detail was like ? especially as someone who has a hard time thinking in anything except words.
he talks a lot also about visualizing his stickhandling and how he feels that helps him. he tries to do like 50 passes a week or something similar. and he also prefers, before games, to be the only one on the ice so he can do the exercises in his gear.
he hasn't touched his signing bonus yet and he called up his old coach to see if he could earn money doing a goalie camp for little kids over the summer instead (he talks about how he can't leave $1,000 on the table, that's a lot of money for him!)
he also talks about how if there's a stick around him he's going to be practicing stickhandling. this isn't fully reflecting the way he said it, it actually made me laugh as i was listening to this on headphones walking to work.
there's a lot more in here but i don't have the time to write everything down. it was really an enjoyable listen and like...made me very fond. he's a very good little goalie guy. excited to see him in laval.

Yo dude
Opinion onnnnnnnnnn Ram3nN00dles Cass? The one who's really popular
*rubs my horrible little bug hands together* I have. So many thoughts.
There's obviously tons of hate for this mod and I'm just gonna start this off by saying that I'm not crazy about it, but admittedly I think a lot of the reasons most people hate it kinda suck lmao.
Breaking this down and also putting it under a read more because like I said. Many thoughts. A few positive. A lot negative
Now I hear a lot of folks rag on her design in this mod but tbh? It's like my favorite part.
Design:
Tumblr media
Like c'mon. This specific image was my PFP on fucking everything for like 2 years. It adds a bit to the original design without changing too much. I will admit however I'm not crazy about the crop top. Some folks claim that the mod over sexualizes her design because God forbid she has hips, an ass and a crop top but again I don't really see it?? It's not my favorite thing but c'mon, it's a crop top it's not a fucking gimp suit lmao.
I will admit in this outfit she feels less goth and more?? Alt?? I guess you could say?? Like again it sticks to the og design but it doesn't really have the vibes if that makes sense??
Another thing I surprisingly enjoy is RN's take on the penilians. Like most folks interpret them as humanoid and tbh? I like the more buggy look better.
Tumblr media
The whole abdomen, thorax and legs part is kinda iffy?? Like the phase one design kept her design recognizable with minimal changes but this just feels a bit too far off.
I'll start this part off by admitting I don't know jack fuck about music theory or much like that but like. I do not enjoy 90% of the main mod songs. Possession is one of the better ones of the mix but even then the entire time I felt like I was waiting for some kind of drop that just?? Never came??
Music:
I really hate being negative here but oh my god. Oh my god. Takeover is so fucking bad. It isn't pleasant. At all. Especially in the UTAU update, like bestie that echo is not helping.
I feel like all of the songs in that mod had that same problem where something just felt missing?? Like the voice thingy she has is pretty good and I like that they changed up BF's voice in it but tbh that can only carry a mod so far. Like again I don't know much about music theory but it doesn't really feel like there's much of a rhythm? Like yeah some parts of songs repeat but not really in a fun way.
I will admit though the Ugh cover had me in a chokehold for like a year so. Points there I guess. But again all the original music is boring at best and absolute diarrhea at worst.
Hooooooo boy.
Lore:
Look I could have forgiven the lore if the music was halfway tolerable but damn. This shit is not helping itself.
This mod was made before the April fools update and hot damn is it abundantly clear.
Ramen tried really hard to make Cassandra the good guy, and back in 2021 this was pretty unheard of. Like back then everyone blasted Cass enjoyers on fuckin sight lmao (some were fair, like yeah shooting up a school isn't good obviously. Some were pretty far off though. There was a time when pretty much half of the damn FNF fandom called her a nazi?? Like say what you want but she was pretty clearly anti-facist within the first few seconds of PS). But when he tried making Cass a good guy he kinda butchered the character.
Like the whole possession story arc isn't really easy to follow imo. Like okay the penilians are aliens in this mod. But they possess her like they're demons?? And when they possess her they make her shoot up a school.
In this mod her parents are Daddy Dearest and Mommy Mearest, it just doesn't really make sense that they'd make her shoot up a school and not literally anything else?? Like if they were wanting to just kill as many people as possible why did they possess some random teenager? Like why not possess some dude in the military or with some form of political power? The whole alien possesed thing just doesn't make sense. Plus after the events of Pico's school she just lives with the alien possessing her?? Like apparently PS takes places when she's like 17 and in the mod she's 23. Like holy fuck how has she not done anything else??
That and I'm not a fan of the whole family drama B plot. Like its a neat concept to make her GF's estranged sister but the whole reunion with Cass and DD just feels?? Clunky?? Awkward?? Like it's just not very elegant.
Tumblr media
Simply not vibing with it
Creator:
Look I'm not gonna go crazy deep into the drama here but what I will say is it was very clear Ramen was 17 when he made this mod, for better or for worse. He did a lot of dumb shit because he was a kid.
Some folks shit on him because he's trans and obviously that's just not fucking cool, but obviously that's not why I don't fully vibe with him. Like fucks sake I'm like vaguely nonbinary, I get that sometimes people are gonna be nasty to folks like us for literally zero reason.
Misc:
The whole mod has huge PicoxCass connections and again I don't really vibe with it. It's definitely not my favorite ship ever. Like obviously people can ship whatever they want but hot damn I don't wanna see it.
Cass does end up a little woob-ified in an attempt to make her redeemable. Like by all means theres a way to redeem her without making her personality unrecognizable. I feel like this story might have worked with an OC or something but the whole penilian thing just. Did not work in my opinion.
I used to fucking LOVE this mod back in the day but as I've gotten older and understood Cassandra's character a bit more I've sorta fallen out of love with it. Don't get me wrong the designs go hard to this day but some decent art won't save a mod with shitty songs, confusing story and a controversial creator.

Shagg & Scoob original pilot version
I question if I should stick with this title. But it’s one that might make the most sense considering this stuff I wrote here.
As a heads up, I have talked about my own feelings on the Velma show and whatever else. Such as I feel like the need to give Scooby-Doo an “Adult take” Isn’t for me because it’s already enjoyable as a franchise for all ages. Besides, there has been already more “Serious” takes anyway. And this is likely something I won’t pursue more in making. Yet it may pop up in my mind from time to time. But I feel like me making my own take on Scooby-Doo isn’t really needed. Yet considering the Velma show exists, I might as well make my own “Adult take”, or I question if I’ll call it that. Because this is a more “Serious” take on my original ideas. And it seems more TV-PG to TV-14 as it’s developing. Or just simply, PG-13.
Even though the original concept for this was much more comedic. Yet it likely still is very silly considering the focal characters are Shaggy and Scooby and what I’ve described is the development of their “Bromance”. Yet the other Mystery Inc gang are still main characters. Again, the fact this developed into something more serious when the original idea was, “It has Red vs Blue like humor but it’s wholesome” and well...this feels like if Zack Snyder and Brad Peyton had made their own Scooby-Doo thing.
Besides, we’ve gotten shows like What’s New Scooby-Doo and Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated, and we even have the Scooby-Doo movies going from 1998-2001. what I’m writing isn’t fully special. And I don’t need to make it, yet I am. And I’ve been having trouble writing the “First case” because I am going to be reusing some of the classic monsters from season 1 from Where Are You. The monsters I’ve been thinking about are the Black Knight, the Snow Ghost, Space Kook, Captain Culter, the Swamp Witch and zombie, and the Phantom Shadows. Along with some others. I wanted to keep these a surprise. The stories with them are basically remakes/reimagining's of the original episodes.
Considering the voice actors I have chosen. Keep in mind I have nothing against the voice actors that currently voice the characters. The reason I did that because if I am going to make my own take on these characters on these characters, however new and unique they are. I wanted to choose different voice actors to well, have you envision those voices. And it’s funny if you recognize some of the people I have chosen. Besides, this is basically just fan fiction. Besides, I have wondered about drawing these characters.
“In the peaceful town of Coolsville, Shaggy Rogers is a young outcast, when needing help for his serious anxiety issues, is he given a therapy dog named Scooby to help him in life. As the two form a bond, strange things start happening, resulting in the accidental forming of Mystery Inc consisting of not only Shaggy and Scooby, but also Daphne Blake, Fred Jones, and Velma Dinkley, and surprisingly sometimes Shaggy’s little sister when they can’t leave her alone.
But during this, the group discovers Scooby can somehow talk. As more mysteries come about to them whether they welcome them or not. And trying to figure out how and why Scooby can speak. Something soon comes to Coolsville that not only endangers the town, but also relates to the origin of Scooby himself. Leading to an event that will test them all. Specifically Shaggy as he tries to protect the closest being he has to a best friend.”
At the age of 16, he was diagnosed with Autism which explains some of his “Goofiness” such as his overuse of the word “Like”. Even with some folks asking him if he does drugs considering his behavior. Since then, he tries to hide the truth from people who don’t know him personally and wanting to be seen as “Normal.” And wanting a friend that can understand what he’s feeling without putting the stress on his younger sister and not wanting to tell his parents.
Shaggy “Norville” Rogers.
Voiced by: Kyle McCarley (Infinity Train)
Bio: A 20-year-old outcast who suffers from heavy anxiety issues. Despite being seen as a cowardly slacker, Shaggy is a very empathetic person who puts others needs before him. Along with being very loyal to his family and whoever else. He also has a huge love for food and has “High metabolism.” And he was also a top student in his gym classes and track.
But when getting with not only Scooby, but also the rest of the gang. He soon learns to accept himself as a person.
Similar to Shaggy, he is usually very cowardly and hungry. But also, empathetic and loyal to a fault. And his friendship with Shaggy only strengthens as they realize they have more in common than they thought. And despite learning how to talk, he doesn’t even know why and assumes him being able to understand humans talk and talking himself is normal. He still has the mind of a dog, but it’s been expanded a little. Along with the fact he’s able to eat anything Shaggy can eat that would actually kill a dog.
Scooby-Doo.
Voiced by: Fred Tatasciore (Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur)
Bio: A 1-year-old Great Dane who has the unnatural ability to speak in broken English. Given to Shaggy as a therapy dog to help him in life. When Shaggy and the rest of the gang discover Scooby can talk, they freak out but get used to it. While also making sure no one else finds out to protect Scooby himself.
Unknown to Daphne, Shaggy has a crush on her and wants to win her over. But worries she may reject him.
Daphne Blake.

He also has good leader skills.
Velma Dinkley.

He legitimately cares for his son to where he even doesn’t mind Shaggy not wanting to be called “Norville” in public and only wishes his son could tell him about his issues.
Stu “Casey” Rogers.
Voiced by: Matthew Lillard.
Bio: Shaggy and Maggie’s 50-year-old father who is a well-loved psychiatrist within the Coolsville community. Yet despite that, his personality is unlike his job. Considered to be very “Laid back” yet he talks about these insane stories that sound unbelievable tall tales to make people laugh. Such as talking about his best friends “Billy” and “Randy” and others in stories that make people genuinely question if he’s actually psychotic, hiding behind a different personality. Even stories where he was given nicknames like “Stevo”, “LaFlour”, and whatever else.
What’s also amusing is that while having a different group of friends. He mentions he’s still in contact with “Billy” and “Randy” after high school.

Hi, on anonymous because I'm shy, but a while ago, I saw your discord status talking about Genshin Impact, and I was wondering what you thought of it. Sorry if that's intrusive! I really like that game and wanted to know.
Le gasp, someone who knows me!... Maybe, haaai~
Tumblr media
Genshin, yes (or Genshion, as I accidentally typo-ed it in my status and people were so kind to point out x'D). So my status said I was giving the game another try after leaving my account to rot for almost two years.
I made an account back then and tried to play but was so overwhelmed by it, I didn't find much enjoyment in it. I tried it long enough to get my adventurer rank to 7 or something, but I struggled hard with wrapping my head around the gameplay style. So I left it to the side.
Cue last week, when I brushed off my account and gave it another go.
Day one was hell: I had NO idea what was going on, I didn't remember anything, and once again I struggled with getting a hang of the playstyle. I was having no fun and decided to give up.
Day two was... okay: I figured I gave up too easily the day before and wanted to give the game another chance. It's a pretty game with nice designs and scenery, I like the soundtrack, and if so many darn people like it, then surely I'm not doing something right. I got some online assistance and slowly started to understand how the heck to play it.
Day three was actually fun: Finally, after trying for hours, I was starting to have fun. I could progress, I didn't keep getting my ass handed back to me, I dared to explore and got a better taste of the story. Beating harder mobs/bosses felt really good.
From here on in, the game has been rather enjoyable, but I have hit the "grind wall" now where I need to grind for level boosts, food materials, and other items to upgrade weapons and artifacts, and to ascend characters and weapons so they can gain higher levels. My "main-ish" team is now all in the level 33 brackets and my Adventurer rank/level is 22, so I've been doing okay, I guess xD
I'm still not that great at switching out party members to create elemental chain reactions or what-have-you for good damage; I'm not used to this kind of playstyle, especially this fast-paced, but I'm trying. I usually just go into fights with Xiangling and wreck things (most of the time). Takes a bit longer than it should but it works.
I think the game is pretty alright. I didn't have a high opinion of it before, but that was mostly because my own experience with it was pretty shit. It has a nice story, pretty graphics and a wonderful soundtrack. I like to explore and glide, I think those are my favorite parts of the game, and I do smile when I'm interacting with other characters.
Things I still don't like very much are:
The English voice acting. Some of the voices are pretty grating to listen to, while others sound very forced (aka not genuine or natural). Hopefully this is just throughout the "beginning" of the game and people ease into it better later on. I am considering downloading the Japanese voice-acting pack though.
Being forced to stick with the gender of the Traveler you picked at the very start and being unable to customize their appearance. I'm not going to make a whole new account just to switch gender for aesthetic reasons. Still sucks that this isn't something that can be changed, at all.
Adventurer level hurdles. I hate you... Just let me progress through the story, don't make me wait and grind.
Ice. The Ice element is my worst enemy and the mountain area can fek right off.
Can I have some more dudes on my team? Thanks.
I will say that the urge to make a Genshin OC is there but I feel like I don't have a good enough grasp on the game, the setting and the story yet to justify it. We'll see.
