➜ and you've noticed that he was bit more affectionate with you when you were in your pregnancy, his head on your lap as you play with his hair ─ which he usually doesn't like people doing?? and would every now and then kiss your tummy while playing his games

➜ he's like a mother cat on pregnancy, but with you ─ never lets you do work, saying that he already has it under all on control, very protective of you and literally hisses at other people coming near you LMAO WTF MAN

➜ tries to be as knowledgable for your pregnancy as much as possible ─ just like the other dads in my hcs, they want YOU to feel comfortable with EVERYTHING and want YOU to feel supported

➜ has already bought EVERYTHING you needed, even extra ones and has booked appointments left and right

➜ like mans hasn't done this much effort after volleyball ngl

➜ but just like everyone else ─ he's terrified, he doesn't know alot of these things and of course you're the only woman he has ever gotten pregnant and he doesn't have any experiences in these type of thing whatsoever

➜ doubts were not uncommon ─ if he ever was going to be a good father to his child, if he was even a good fiancé to you, was he even worth to have a child with ?

➜ this bb boy CRIED when he heard you guys were having twins, TWINS; like as in a girl and a boy

➜ when kaori and kazu were born, kenma wasn't aware that he could fall in love all over again

➜ whenever he's working late at night, he'll always be the one telling YOU to go back to sleep and he'll be the one to take care of the kid for the night

➜ and by kid, i meant kazu because somehow??he??got??his??father's??sleeping??schedule??

➜ sometimes whenever you wake up, you find yourself alone in the bedroom and whenever you look at either the game room or your childrens' room, you would always find kenma lying with his children on couch-bed ─ kozu and kaori on each side of his head, kaori having her small little fingers holding and sometimes tugging onto her dad's hair

➜ and sometimes you would also join them

➜ but most of the time, you would head to the kitchen and make some breakfast

➜ and usually kenma would wake up and put his kids back to their crib and he'd go look for you, finding you cooking as he would wrap his arms around your waist as he hugs you from the back

➜ i just wanna get myself a gamer boi kenma

➜ since he gets a lot more clingey whenever he wakes up

➜ whenever he's streaming USUALLY, kozu would sleep on his lap like a cat while kaori is sleeping in his head?? Idk how??

➜ while his fans literally PAY him to show his adorable kids, some even commented how they're all so cat-like and alike with their father

➜ one time while streaming, he was probably ranting tf out of a game he wasted his money on and warning his fans not to buy it because it's basically a scam

➜ and while he was in the middle of ranting, his daughter comes in while holding a blanket on her as she rubbed her eyes looking so much like a small kitten, he literally STOPS DEAD ON HIS SWEAR WORD AS HIS EYES WIDDENED while the people in the chats are either fangirling how CUTE his daughter was or DYING because mans was almst about to swear and interrupted himself

➜ and then sliding himself onto the covers as he, himself, nuzzled himself onto your warmth

➜ the relatable dad, idk why but i really see him getting along with children especially when they're teenagers ─ i just, i COULD SEE IT

do NOT give money to tumblr user roboticwheelchair

Hi, so you’ve probably seen this post or some of its permutations on this website lately! (The old version of this post broke because I mistakenly deleted it. Let’s try this again, shall we?)

This is a “RAFFLE” for a Nintendo Switch Lite and the poster is asking people send them $10 to earn a spot in the raffle, of which there are 52. People have already sent money in.

This post was made by user roboticwheelchair and the name which currently displays on their paypal is “Mick Garcia” - it’s very possible you’ve heard their story already from several weeks ago. User roboticwheelchair claims that they were physically assaulted for being a transgender man, and that they sustained a concussion.

The BAD news is that roboticwheelchair is a blog which has been on tumblr for a very long time, and used to belong to someone named Falum Gibson. You may have heard this name from their #justice4falum campaign ages ago. They are a notorious scammer and has been doing this since 2016. LET’S REVIEW (LONG, LONG, LONG POST AHEAD.)

Part 1: #BieberMeetFalum and Meeting Ed Sheeran

In 2016, Falum ran a Justin Bieber fan account on Twitter called @bieberfreezer (account has since been suspended). They began a campaign called #BieberMeetFalum by posting a Twitter thread about their disability, cerebral palsy, and how they had intended to meet Justin Bieber personally because his music was important to them. However, the venue he was performing at was not wheelchair accessible and Falum uses an electric wheelchair. They were trying to get the attention of him or his team in order to ensure they met. This was a reasonable thing to post about! Accessibility is a necessity. We know this. And they weren’t asking for money. Twitter got this the attention it needed and they were able to meet Bieber despite the trouble. (LINK)

Later on, they gunned to meet Ed Sheeran and succeeded.

Part 2: #TaylorNoticeFalum

In 2018, Falum was on Tumblr as user taylorsgetawaycarxo. At this point they still say they have cerebral palsy, but has also said they have COPD (something they later will drop.) Claiming that they are terminally ill and has 2 years left to live, they talk about how Taylor Swift is their idol and they want to meet her before they die.

This came right after they had done the same thing with Demi Lovato fans, claiming they idolised Demi and needed to meet her, so on and so forth. They ran a GoFundMe for this.

The GoFundMe is now defunct, but the URL was “falumlastwish” I believe. Here’s where the plot gets a little lost, because the sheer number of different GoFundMes, donation posts, and meet-a-celebrity campaigns that Falum was running in these couple of years is... pretty wild. There’s a post from another blog here on Tumblr about the Taylor Swift fandom’s run-in with them. (LINK)

Here’s a GoFundMe they ran from a music fan account on Instagram, where they were asking for help escaping homelessness. They raised almost 5,000 dollars out of the 10,000 they were asking. (LINK)

At some point they also ran a GoFundMe for a PTSD service dog. I’m not sure how much they were asking for this one, but they apparently made $880 off of it.

Part 3: Ellie Elizabeth

This part is a little muddled, because the tumblr blog connected to it has been deleted and it’s really difficult to find archives of the posts, but at some point in early 2019 Falum started using the blog ellie-elizabeth21 to ask for money as well. The story was that they were being sent to conversion therapy for being bisexual by their father, who had them deemed legally mentally incompetent. Further stories they posted about were potential evictions, needs for grocery money, etc.

“Ellie” also ran a GoFundMe to escape conversion therapy. Although the person running the campaign was listed as Ellie Elizabeth, the “beneficiary” listed on the campaign is Falum Gibson, proving that Ellie was another pseudonym - just a better hidden one. Here’s the link to that GoFundMe, where you can see it for yourself. (LINK)

This was Ellie Elizabeth’s PayPal account at the time, I believe? And anyway, you might note that they apparently made nearly $6,500 on this account.

Part 4: #Justice4Falum

Now in November of 2019, Falum moved away from the world of Fan Internet and decided to try out something new. They made the blog roboticwheelchair in September of 2019 and reblogged a photoset of cats to it, which for a while was the only thing on the blog besides the donation post they initially made. They��ve gone through a cycle of reblogging and deleting things there, basically clearing out the blog every couple of weeks to make a new post.

At this point they were also @falumgibson on Twitter. The account has since been locked. This is when they posted a GoFundMe describing medical abuse they were allegedly undergoing at the Ottawa Hospital. Weird side note, this GoFundMe is still running and can be donated to, though obviously I’m recommending you don’t do so. (LINK)

They made several donation posts on Tumblr about this campaign, frequently linking it or their PayPal account and asking people to donate. Sometimes it was to go directly to their legal fund for this lawsuit, other times they were asking for money for medications or other immediate costs.

Side note, they had claimed to be in the hospital since August of 2019 due to suicidal ideation and claimed they had been psych warded. From what I can tell, the Ottawa Hospital General Campus they claimed to be hospitalised at does not actually have a psychiatric ward. It has a mental health team, but they appear to do outpatient work. It’s not really clear what they were in the hospital for at this point.

#Justice4Falum was originally about fundraising for a place to live because apparently they were in danger of being forced to leave the hospital due to homelessness. Later on they turned it into a legal fund to sue the hospital for mistreatment.

Part 5: Further Fundraising, Coming Out As Trans

While Falum was in the hospital, they started identifying as nonbinary. I’m not in any position to speculate about whether or not Falum is transgender, because that’s honestly not the point. Either way, they have started using their trans identity in much the way they use their disabilities - as a way to garner sympathy and trust, and to scam people out of money.

On their Twitter at this point, they did seem to have kind of a bizarre interpretation of how transition worked and appeared to be under the impression that the first thing trans men do is get top surgery? (LINK)

Shortly after this, still during the November that #Justice4Falum ran during, they began asking for donations to a different PayPal account than their normal one, because their stepdad was dying of cancer. There was a GoFundMe for this as well, but it appeared to feature their parents and was possibly not created by Falum.

No date on this tweet unfortunately, but right after that, they made a post about how they had been outed to their transphobic father and needed to escape living with him.

At this point, Falum has added several diagnoses to those they claim to have. In addition to cerebral palsy, they now claim to have multiple sclerosis and several mental illnesses. No more COPD, though! I’m very impressed that they recovered from a terminal illness!

Now that they’re out of the closet, in early December they begin making donation posts on Tumblr again and have now made a Patreon. (LINK: POST) (LINK: PATREON) Soon after this, they apparently left their home and became homeless, and started posting about this on Twitter and linking their PayPal.

In late December they posted on Twitter about having attempted suicide by taking 75 extra strength Tylenol. Warning for a photograph of their IV in this link. (LINK)

Not very long after, Falum returned to their narrative of being terminally ill by posting about how their multiple sclerosis (something they have only claimed since 2019, I believe) causes them over 20 seizures a day and will eventually kill them. (LINK)

Then they locked their Twitter account and decided to try something new.

Part 6: Connor Kay, “anontransman”

Enter Connor Kay. At this point Falum makes a new Twitter account called @ConnorIsTrans which eventually morphs into @anontransman. They initially link this account to their old main account, saying that they’ve switched in order to be openly trans on their new account because their transphobic father is stalking them. (LINK)

They continue asking for donations on Twitter, now with a Ko-Fi account called Connor Rocks.

They also post a story about an ex-friend of theirs spitting on them for being trans, apparently, and say they’re calling the police on her, which really doesn’t seem like something that’d be safe for a disabled trans person to do but whatever. (LINK)

On their blog at roboticwheelchair, they post stories about how they are being assaulted and mocked for being transgender. I should note that on Twitter they’ve said they are not out IRL and have not taken steps to transition.

Not only does this particular story sound kind of like the “down with cis bus” post, it’s also somewhat suspect that they allege they were called a tr*nny as an AFAB trans person, given who is generally targeted by that word. But. Moving on.

When the COVID-19 pandemic came around, Connor created a Facebook group for disability support. This was run by the Facebook account Connor Kay, which has since been deleted. It was the same account that they used to have and they’d not changed anything except for the name; prior posts showed it was Falum Gibson’s account.

It turns out they deleted this Facebook account because someone on Facebook posted about their years-long history of scamming people online. Here’s a link to an imgur album of some of the Facebook callout and the images the OP posted. (LINK)

So Falum, or Connor, decides to start anew with an all new PayPal, Ko-Fi, Patreon and Twitter account. At this point they begin to break away from linking these accounts to the name Falum Gibson and their past donation posts, although they are still using the same Tumblr blog. They change their Twitter handle to @anontransman and remove links to Falum. (TWITTER SCREENCAP) (KO-FI SCREENCAP) (PATREON SCREENCAP)

Then they tweet about how they have been diagnosed with cancer. (LINK) Then they begin asking for $100k to go to the US for treatment. (LINK)

Soon after, this Tweet has been completely deleted and they have instead started asking for money for top surgery. (LINK) I believe this is in reverse chronological order, but here are a week’s worth of tweets from them - all deleted at random times in order to make room for the others - asking for money for various reasons. Yes, this was all literally within the same week. (LINK)

Note the very last image of that album contains a reference to an “Amazon Raffle” - they were basically telling people that donations would win them a spot in a raffle for an Amazon gift card or something? It seems they moved on from the @anontransman account before the raffle could come to fruition, or possibly that they just deleted all references to it. Not sure.

In April of 2020, roboticwheelchair posted a specific donation post about being attacked for being transgender and sustaining a concussion. They said they did not see a doctor after the assault because they didn’t think it was important, so their concussion went untreated and because of it they were unable to get groceries. The donation post linked to Connor Kay’s PayPal account. It was deleted and reposted several different times, with basically the same text.

Part 7: Mick Garcia

This is a more recent post with the exact same story, now about their multiple sclerosis medication. The only difference is now that the PayPal link sends you to the PayPal of Mick Garcia. Mick Garcia has a different PayPal username than Falum, Ellie, and Connor did.

On April 12th, the @anontransman account deactivated after Falum, or Ellie, or Connor, or Mick decided to leave Twitter. Then yesterday on April 19th, it reactivated and they tweeted once again.

However, around this same time, another Twitter account under the name Mick Garcia with an icon @anontransman used to use and a very similar tone/style cropped up.

The Mick Garcia account has not tweeted yet, as it appears that they may be staying with @anontransman for their current purposes, but it appears that for some reason or another they’ve decided to start going by Mick Garcia now.

I guess it’s probably relevant to note that while I suppose there are probably some white people out there with the last name Garcia, Falum is really seriously white and it’s suspect they would pick out Garcia as a pseudonym, whether they list “white” in their Twitter bio or not.

More from the current state of the roboticwheelchair blog includes many, many posts where they’re either reposting their own petitions or basically grabbing for as many followers as possible. You can probably guess why. (LINK)

Finally, The Switch Raffle

Literally today, April 20th, roboticwheelchair posted something that is allegedly a raffle. They claim to be giving away a Nintendo Switch Lite to a lucky winner. There are 52 slots in the raffle; they are asking that people send them $10 over PayPal in order to enter. They’re also claiming this is to further fundraise for their medication.

They are claiming their doctor has put them on an MS medication that costs $450 every two weeks. (Note that if they’re trying to make money for that right now and also going to buy a Switch for the winner, than they’d only have about half of that at the end? The Switch Lite is about $260 in Canada and their total earnings from a full raffle would be $520.)

You should not give money to them for this raffle, or for any reason. The reason I’m compiling all of this is because after months of seeing them pull this scam over and over again, they’re now promising people an actual product that given their history, I would say they are highly unlikely to deliver.

Given their past, it is most likely they will delete this raffle once they have the money they want, and refuse to allude to it ever again. Or maybe they’ll just disappear! Or hell, maybe they’ll have some kind of nebulous problem ordering the Switch when someone wins, and that’ll be that.

But it’s clear based on this history, I hope, that Falum or Ellie or Connor or Mick has a long history of taking lots and lots of money from strangers online. Like, a lot of money. My estimate is that they’ve made over $15k on this, and that’s exclusively based off of the visible numbers on their GoFundMes and Ko-Fi accounts.

Please do not give this person your money. They are not trustworthy. There are other people who need it - like you, or maybe like, someone you personally know and not some complete stranger who keeps telling people they’re terminally ill so they can meet a cool musician.

Disclaimer

I’ve compiled all of this information to the best of my ability, but I am just one person and it took a lot of digging due to the deleted accounts involved.

Falum is actually disabled; I believe they do have cerebral palsy and may have other disabilities. I do not know if they really have MS, but it’s hard to trust them because they previously lied about having terminal COPD.

I have no idea if Falum is really transgender or not. They have apparently taken no concrete steps to transition, which I know means very little. That being said, if they are transgender, they are leveraging their identity in dangerous ways against other people for money and sympathy. Their stories about being assaulted by strangers for being transgender are highly suspect, given their lack of transition and the fact that the scenarios they describe are highly cliche.

Finally, I’m not trying to harass Falum or threaten them in any way. I don’t know them. If they’re interested in talking candidly about what they have been doing all these years and why, that’s fine. I would honestly love to understand, but at this point it seems like the only thing they can do is apologise for their dishonesty and stop doing this.

I'll go first:

1. Would you have pushed Namatame into the TV?

Honestly, I think so. If I believed Namatame to be the murderer I would have gone with the "if we leave him to the police they'll set him free due to the lack of evidence" and pushed him. Bad Ending for me 😔🤟🏻

2. If you had the power, would you cause a mental shutdown?

Nope. I wouldn't wish that kind of death to anyone, which is kinda ironic considering my first answer.

After dying of shame while my shadow snitches my most intimate secrets I would end up saying something like "ok, that's true. But not like that" and maybe softened the truth. Cue battle.

4. A rumor about you became true, was this a bad or good thing?

Good. Most people think I'm smarter than I actually am, so I would greatly benefit from a rumor like that.

5. Would you tell someone else if you gained a Persona one day?

Yes. I wouldn't be able to get my mouth shut about my supernatural powers, and before you know it, my brother and closest group of friends know about it.

6. Would you have killed Ryoji?

No. If I believed we would die either way, I would've prefered dying knowing why we're dying in the first place, if that makes sense.

7. Do you see yourself accepting Maruki's reality?

I would deny it. I feel more accomplished when I achieve what I want by my own means instead of someone handing them to me. Plus, I would go with the "this is basically brainwashing" mentality.

8. Would you be willing to forget your friends if it meant saving the world?

Yes. I mean, it may seem weird I would agree so quickly, but it would be no use to keep our friendship if it meant the end of humanity. In the long term, it would make no sense to choose to keep my memories.

I wanted a coherent redemption arc for Ben Solo that actually EARNS redemption. Not just save Rey. I get the vibe that if Leia didn’t sacrifice herself(horrible message and send off) or if Rey did not heal him, he would still remain Kylo Ren and would either still service Palpatine or take power for himself and he would force Rey to choose him or her friends would die.

So what is my problem with how poorly executed the redemption was? He’s only doing it for Rey. Not because he genuinely had a change of heart, feels remorse for his actions and wanted to finish what Anakin started. He wants to do it for Rey and Rey only.(even in the novel it’s made more clear that’s his only reason for turning) that was one of the things I was dreading(women are not rehabilitation centers for damaged men, yikes) I honestly would’ve just preferred Ben staying Kylo Ren if it wasn’t an actual redemption arc and not just rushed bullshit and then dying to achieve redemption. As much as I ship Reylo and like Ben as a character, Kylo Ren being the villain would’ve been best if there was no actual redemption arc.

Also a side note. Rey being a Palpatine should have been complete bullshit. Kylo lies to Rey in order to get her to sink into darkness just so together they could strike the Emperor down and take power for themselves. Have the scene on Ach-To explain this. Luke tells Rey that “The Emperor had no children or heirs, you were born on Jakku, Ben lied, your power is not his, it is your own.” Then Rey would admit, “I really am no one?” “Just because you come from nowhere doesn’t mean you have no place in this story. My father was born a slave, won his freedom and became one of the most powerful force users in history. Even me, a moisture farmer turned pilot and became a Jedi Master, came from nowhere. You are Rey. That is all you needed to be and your power is your own.”

Then if my suggestion of Kylo killing the Emperor and taking power for himself happened. Just spend the final battle of Kylo taunting Rey. Insisting that without him, she is no one and her place is by his side. Everything that she attained came from him. Then finally let Rey have a moment where she finally stands up to him. Rey finally rises up and claims. “My power is my own. I am Rey from Jakku. My lineage does not define me and you don’t define me either.” Then Rey has a “I don’t need you to tell me who I am”/”I have nothing to prove to you” moment and wins the fight. Rey exorcises Palpatine’s spirit, severs Ben’s connection to the force and leaves Ben alive so he can stand trial for crimes against the galaxy as Supreme Leader.

Then it ends with Rey on Tatooine as per normal and Rey saying “I’m Rey. Just Rey” and we see could see two things. Rey and Finn holding hands as they watch the twin suns as was the cut ending or Rey, Finn, and Poe, as it fades into the twin suns. source

The message being that Rey rises up, embraces who she is and has found her family and doesn’t end up alone on a literal graveyard.

Hi! This is talking about the plot of the dream smp in a meta sense and its a bit negative. The person behind this blog wants to remind you that you can skip if it's not for you and they still love the SMP. :)

ALL DISCUSSION IS ABOUT CHARACTERS. DON'T ATTACK CCS OR I WILL STEAL YOUR KNEECAPS.

I can't lie; I'm really annoyed and worried at the way the writers are handling Tommys character at the moment, and am increasingly concerned about it messing up the plot.

I wasn't very happy with the finale. I don't think that means all is lost, I think they can pull it back but it's going to take some work. I was worried about the way that things were handled before but the green festival was actually very well handled, so my worries were mostly assuaged. But yesterday? I don't know.

The fact nobody lost a cannon death is kind of disappointing. The weight of blowing up an entire city/ (country?) brutally is somewhat lost if there is no human loss. Nobody was hurt physically and the only people this had a big mental impact on was Tommy and Tubbo, everyone else wasn't very attached to L'manburg or had gone rogue, or were detatched from the while situation. And maybe it's the fact it's happened to them before or that they still have each other or that it seems odd/ frustrating that they still care so much about this place or that it was always a losing battle and they knew it, but I dont find myself really pitying them like I probably should. And I think that comes down to character growth or lack thereof, which I'll discuss later.

Niki and Fundy have started a villain arc, or at least a violent nihilism arc, and I actually don't mind it, in fact I'm a fan but it wasnt really foreshadowed, or really just showing them cracking as much as it should have been. I would guess this has mostly been started for both of them to tie Niki into the plot and I can't blame her for wanting that. Fundys acting is very good, and I REALLY hope the writers handle this well. For Fundy, regarding the fact that his father is going to be resurrected and that Fundy is following in his footsteps... If the writers don't realise that connection and make this a big step in Fundys narrative I will scream. Also Funboo bros are very interesting character foils and I hope their relationship is maintained so that they can play of off each other and also man I just really want them to keep being friends, it's a generally positive healthy relationship that makes both characters sympathetic and we need that right now. As for Niki, her character motivations seem to be mostly centered around Tommy and on the one hand I'm like ehhhh, because Tommy's character already gets a disproportionate amount of attention in terms of narrative, and I get it, but recently he's been a bit TOO much of the protagonist for a multi-person POV improve server... and I'm apprehensive. However on the other hand this has potential for a nice confrontation between Tommy and Niki. If that happens I want Tommy to be aware that this is going to happen and not talk over Niki, and I don't want it to be brushed over. I think it would be best if it was just the two of them. This also gives a nice chance for Tommy to examine his trauma with Dream and explain his motivations and Niki to get her anger out. I also want it to end positively, because it absolutely can and lack of communication when the viewer knows how to fix it is OK as a plot device sometimes but incredibly frustrating if it keeps happening (cough, Tommy and Techno).

Ranboo is reacting to the plot amazingly and I have as usual only praise for him, go, you funky enderman boy, go.

Wilbur is getting resurrected which is a thousand percent because Will wants the plot back and honestly I don't really mind, I think he'll do a good job. However I really hope he speaks to everybody about their characters, particularly Fundy, Ranboo and Niki because I don't want their characterisation and arcs to be thrown away.

Tubbo is doing very well, and I don't have many complaints to be honest. I hope he continues to get in with the acting with no shame, because he's an amazing VA when he wants to be, but sometimes he undercuts serious moments a little too much by laughing. Same criticism for Phil actually. But both are doing good.

On the theme of that, while I don't mind tension relievers or humour in serious moments there are sometimes too many. It was a lot worse about a month back and it was improving, but it seems to be creeping back in and ehhh. It's kind of Marvel-esque and not in a good way? I think it has a lot to do with bloopers and for some reason there are loads at the moment? Like Wilburs arc had almost none and this arc there's at least 2 every moment. Which isn't always their fault but maybe they need to take more steps to prevent them.

Techno is doing OK, he's quite a meta character so I'm not too mad about him undercutting serious moments but sometimes he does do it too much or in the wrong place. Like making jokes about Connor completely over the top of Tommy and Tubbos reunion, you know an event which has been foreshadowed for yoinks, prevented them from getting a proper flow going and kind of ruined it. And that made the reunion really dissapointing, which is a shame because it could have been so cool. However his characterisation is consistent and dedicated, his goals and relationships are clear and he's getting humanised more which is nice, and his monologues are great. I'm curious to see what he does now NL'M is gone but I have total faith in him.

Now Tommy. Oh Tommy. His character is such a mess at the moment, which is a shame because there were moments I saw people doubting his character choices and I was behind him.

Firstly the relationship with Techno fell apart. That was inevitable. Tommy didn't care about anarchy and Techno didn't care about the discs and both of their goals would impede the others. But the way Tommy talks about Techno is so... No? And now I understand that Tommy is going to have a biased perspective on the whole situation, and that's fine and good, but his character is so wrong about Techno it feels weird and painful? Like even from his perspective it went down differently to how he talks about it. They don't listen to each other and it's like watching two people scream at a wall.

The issue is the relationship was fairly well developed. I struggle to see Tommy saying he saw Techno as a friend but Techno never saw him as a friend because hold on, what? Techno, here's a respiration helmet because of that one of thing you told me about your trauma, a disc because those make you happy, plus top tier armour and weaponry, plus I'm going to spend time with you, calm you down from panic attacks, hide you and protect you from Dream, let you wander around L'manburg and achieve your own goals and help you plan things out Techno and Tommy didn't get ANYTHING from that? Plus after Techno opens up about his goals and his trauma, do the one thing that would hurt him the most, (use and then betray him) and then directly oppose his goals after he helped me? Ugh. It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I know he would never let Tubbo get hurt and thats fine, but there were ways around that. If you're framing this character as the protagonist, then he needs to be sympathetic or at least grow and Tommy using Techno again without remorse and then refusing to listen to his perspective or show any gratitude for anything makes it difficult for viewers to empathise with him in my opinion. Have him betray Techno and then listen to Techno when he explains why Tommys betrayal hurt him and apologise, fine. Have him listen to Techno and try and find a way to keep Tubbo safe regardless, fine. Have him betray Techno but apologetically and still trying to avoid Techo getting crushed or killed, fine. But THIS? Im sympathetic towards Tommys character but this throws away so much potential character development for Tommy, where at least he saw Techno as a person, and not only that but a nice person who despite everything has set aside everything to help him? And then for him to be exactly where he was at the end of season 1, both literally, and emotionally ? I understand this is a child soldier with trauma but this is supposed to be our protagonist and if he doesn't grow, and isn't sympathetic and destroys someone we care about, how can we root for him?

Now all of this could be forgivable, not great, but forgivable, if Tommy had moved on from the discs. The Goddamn Discs™. And the worse part is all the dominoes were lined up to suggest he had! We had his moment of "he watched me" where he realised Dream was the villain and controlling him, "I've become worse than everyone I hated" good, amazing, I see where this is going, "The discs were worth more than you ever were!" and then he retracts and apologises and you think horray! Tommy has realised the discs were being used to control him and if he doesn't care about them, they hold no value! Now he's going to realise that his friends are more important and he's going to stop going after the discs. His new character motivation can be killing Dream and protecting his friends, especially Tubbo. It's clearly angled this way, and this way the plot progresses and Tommy with it. What marvellous character development. Look at him go.

And THEN, after everything that's happened he says the most important thing is the disc and I want them back!?!? EH !!? Why... Who... Who gave the OK on that writing decision? That's so static and boring and unsympathetic! And then he's back to asking people do fight for L'manburg? What?

I'll be honest I was kind go hoping either Tommy or Tubbo would die with L'manburg. I didn't mind it they didn't, there are a thousand ways to make the plot work without them dying, but this was not a great one.

PLEASE let Tommy have some growth. Yes he's had some from not caring about L'manburg to fighting for it in season one, but that was ages ago and he doesnt seem to have changed since then in any way that really counts. And I know this is harsh and he's traumatised but you have to understand I am talking about this in a sense of characters and narrative and NOT in terms of real life. Tommy needs to be better and dynamic because he is a charcacter and I want him to be a good one.

Having said all that, here are my thoughts on the future of the SMP.

Firstly, I am worried that becuse it is such a good source of content, especially for Tommy that they will never ever kill his character and leave him fighting with Dream for eternity. And I love the Dream SMP but I've seen stories that get dragged out for plot or content, and however much you think you want it to never end, let me tell you, yes you do. It will get stale and repetitive and I want the dream smp, or at least Tommys arc to go out with a beautiful and brilliant and fabulous plot ending instead of being dragged into the dirt. And then maybe new characters take the spotlight. Just please god give it a goode ending.

I also really hope they don't throw other things away to make Tommy the centre of attention, especially if it's destructive to the plot, or kind of weird and obnoxious.

Secondly, I am intrigued about the prison and Schlatts book to Dream and Technos favour and the egg and what that entails and I hope they really think through those plot points carefully and make them work, and don't forget them or throw them away.

Thirdly, I am intrigued for Wilburs return and hope that he manages to fix it cohesively without too crazy a change of pace and style and keeping characters (especially Ranboo and Fundy and Niki) consistent.

I hope they prep for the future and think things thought and communicate with each other.

It might be interesting to see other countries finally discussed but I don't know how much that would intefere with other plot points so we'll see.

hey there it’s mare! i am a chaotic mulistan who ults a.c.e and loves them a very healthy totally normal amount. i like to make gifs and consume a lot of content.

2. How and when did you become a CHOICE?

pretty recently, actually! right around when goblin came out. I think goblin came up on one of the spotify kpop playlists, and i loved it so i checked out the music video and loved it even more. then i clicked on the mv for under cover and well, the rest is history.

3. What is your favourite part of being a CHOICE?

honestly everything, i just really love being apart of such a kind and fun fandom and getting to support a.c.e, who work super hard and deliver great music and content all the time. they’re really engaged with their fans and just care so much about a.c.e and choice. i love them so much okay!!!

4. What is your favourite A.C.E song? Do you prefer their title tracks or b-sides more?

Under cover holds a special place in my heart, but i really love all the title tracks as well as clover, slow dive, and baby tonight. a.c.e has never made a bad song, everything slaps.

5. Who’s your bias? What do you like about them?

Donghun as we all know - I could really write an essay about why, but i’ll spare everyone. he’s just an absolute wonderful person who has gone through a lot to achieve his dreams and gives so much to us as fans and i think he deserves the whole world. plus he is SO talented and serves iconic looks at every turn.

6. What is your favourite thing about A.C.E?

They have such a special bond that i think really sets them apart as a group. you can tell how much they care for and respect each other. they just work so well as a group and i really think it’s an important part of what makes them so special.

7. Which concept has been your favourite? What kind of concept do you want them to try?

everything they’ve done has been very cool, but i really loved the concept of goblin and the aesthetic. i’m really excited for siren though, what we’ve seen has looked so cool!! but i would love to see them do a ot5 take me higher 2.0 - something bright and fun!

8. Which A.C.E friendship is your favourite? Which one do you want to see more of?

honestly every pairing is really special i think but some that i love to see together are sehyoon and byeongkwan, donghun and jun, and donghun and yuchan. especially donghun and yuchan - their oldest/maknae relationship is really special and you can tell how much they love and value each other.

9. If you could tell A.C.E one thing, what would you tell them?

that we as a fandom see everything they’ve been doing for us and appreciate them so much!! and that i love their music and think they are so talented and wonderful. honestly though if i ever met them i might just cry.

10. Which A.C.E member would die first in a horror movie?

so honestly i think yuchan would either die first or somehow miraculously be the last one alive without really doing anything to stay like, if that makes sense. but yea i could also absolutely see junhee dying first.

Golden Hour {Hawks | Keigo Takami}

She felt so fortunate to have seen the amazing sights that she did—Tokyo lit up at night in the summer and buzzing with activity far below where she stood; flying high around the Three Holy Mountains in the seasons when their splendor was the most breathtaking; the vast expanse of the ocean spread wide in front of her.

But by far the sight she felt the most privileged to have seen and continued to see was the sight of her husband’s bright, warm features backed by the golden hue of the late afternoon sun.

Honey blonde hair haloed by the rays streaming through their balcony window and framed by the rich crimson of his wings painted him as a divine sculpture, truly a man that deserved to be gazed upon in reverence. A real hero in so many regards with his greatness achieved through his training by the Commission, she was the only one who really understood the greatness he had been born with.

Model-like looks hid beneath them a heart that was capable of so much love and tenderness, a person so valuable he had been hidden away by others in power who wanted to control him as something they could build and manipulate to need. He had broken free after turning twenty-three, a bird set free of the too-small cage they kept him in for the largest portion of his life, and while his true self could bleed through in some ways, Hawks held barely a fraction of the human worth of Keigo Takami.

Keigo was the man whose insecurity over battle scars could eat him alive while he told her how lucky he was to have someone as attractive as her, blemishes and all. He was paranoid of his hero image and the fluctuating rankings that had yet to affect him but “it’s only a matter of time” because he wasn’t young and single anymore. He was afraid of losing speed as his career went on and the potential lives lost that would follow.

He was also the man who remembered that on the day they met she was wearing a purple gingham dress and speaking with other sponsors over a plate of maguro finger food. He was more than happy to use his feathers to entertain her younger family members during gatherings, excited to use them for something other than violence. And Keigo Takami was the one before her, bathed in the rich colors of the setting sun.

“You’re so beautiful,” she said, catching his attention.

He turned to her, lips parted slightly in surprise. “I—you… think I’m beautiful?”

“I do,” she replied with a smile as she reached out to brush his hair out of his eyes. “I think you’re beautiful like this, with the sun hitting you just right. It makes you glow.”

His cheeks dusted pink and a small smile curled onto his lips.

“It’s one of my favorite ways to see you,” she added, voice sultry as the hand in his hair traced from his temple down his face, cupping his cheek. He leaned into the touch, his eyes boring into hers.

“What are the other ways you like to see me?” he asked lowly.

“There’s only one other,” she admitted. Her hand dropped from his cheek and down to the loose collar of his old tshirt, hooking into the fabric and tugging lightly. “Take this off and you’re halfway there.”

He slipped his arms from the sleeves and pulled his head out of the top, two red feathers appearing on either side of him to help guide the material’s large openings on the back over his wings to be tossed aside. Running his fingers through his hair, he cocked his head with a smirk.

“Halfway there,” he said cheekily.

With a smile she uncurled her legs from beneath her and rose up from the couch, turning towards the hallway that led to their bedroom. Reaching a hand out to him, he placed his palm in hers and stood to follow as she began walking. Once in their bedroom he closed the door behind him, an unnecessary task but one that he always made sure to do; inside was for the two of them only, safe and warm away from anyone else.

He dropped his hand and held her steady by the shoulders when she tried to turn around, his chest pressed against her back. Light kisses were placed at the juncture where her neck met her shoulder, and her head lolled back to rest against his collar bone.

She sighed and feeling the smile against her skin, grinned. “You’re still only halfway there, feathers.”

He barked out a laugh, his breath fanning out over the back of her neck as he pulled back slightly. Large, warm palms snuck below the hem of her shirt, smoothing over the skin of her stomach and tracing the familiar shape of her body, indulging himself only for a moment before removing her top and leaving her upper half bare.

“Let a man take his time,” he said in a hushed tone, his hands coming up to cup her chest as he pressed against her once more. A slow roll of his hips and a firm squeeze to her chest let any argument she could have had die on her tongue.

Instead she let out a quiet moan and arched her back at the feeling of his movements. “Mmm, Keigo…”

“Keep saying my name like that,” he groaned, stepping them forward to the bed.

She followed his lead, crawling up the large expanse of pillows and blankets before turning and lying back. At the sight of her husband moving up towards her, his entire body bathed in the golden light once more from their bedroom window, her breath hitched.

Desperate breaths between the clashing of teeth and tongues grew steadily heavier, and one of his hands drifted down to tug at her underwear and sweatpants. She shifted her hips to allow him to push them further down her legs and kicked them aside as soon as they were low enough, laying herself completely bare below him.

Early in their relationship she worried that it was an act like the ones he had put on for so many years because of the Commission’s training, but over time she began to understand that the depth of his emotion were so foreign to him that he truly did hold such wonder when expressing them.

“Could keep you in this bed forever,” he continued as he came to drape himself over her again. “What d’ya say we see if we can have us a chick or two, huh? Fill this nest up with little ones?”

“We will,” she murmured, “but not yet, Keigo.”

He traced a finger down her upper arm, the flash of disappointment not going unnoticed as he hummed, knowing that beneath her skin lay the tiny device in the way of his plans. “One year, two months.”

“Plenty of time to perfect our technique,” she said coyly, her intention to bring him out of his head.

A grin blooming across his face let her know that she was successful, and soon enough the grin was hidden in the crook of her neck and those same teeth were scraping against her skin. She whimpered at the feeling and a low, pleased rumble vibrated within his chest; with him pressed against her it harmonized with the wild beating of her heart.

With one hand between her and the mattress cradling her close, he slid his other hand down her side to prop her hips up so he could position himself properly.

“So good for me,” he whispered as his hips rolled forward until they were flush against her own, his wings lowering around them as if to hide their intimate moment from the rest of the world.

Her legs came to wrap around his waist to pull him just that much deeper, one thigh still supported by his hand and she moaned softly, causing him to look up from her neck to see the blissful expression on her face—eyes half-lidded as she gazed up at him through her lashes and her lips parted in a tiny ‘o’ shape.

Below him, she could only look on in awe as the dying light of day continued to filter through the window and highlight the man she felt privileged to call her husband.

“You’re so beautiful, the only one for me,” he told her, pulling back only to push forward and set a slow, steady pace. Gentle kisses were peppered across her cheeks as each time he filled her completely he paused to grind his hips against hers, the sensual drag against her clit absolutely perfect.

His name fell from her lips like an incantation, small gasps not breaking the spell of encouragement each syllable of his name created. The slow pace was maddening but was building the pleasure pooled low in her stomach.

“I love you,” she murmured breathlessly, catching his lips in a desperate kiss, “I love you, Keigo.”

A shudder ran through him and his rhythm faltered only to resume with faster thrusts of his hips, the new pace causing her to arch into him more. He held her tight against him, grinding more harshly each time he bottomed out within her.

“Please, Keigo,” she whimpered, clutching him harder and feeling the coiled muscles working beneath his skin.

The hand on her thigh moved between her legs, two fingers easily finding her clit and giving firm strokes to match the speed of his hips, driving her that much closer to her peak. “I’ve got you, baby, I know what you need.”

It only took the combination of his movements another moment before she was crying out his name and digging her nails hard into his shoulders, pure bliss washing over her completely. “What do you mean Zuko’s gone!?” Katara yelled.

Sokka had this dumb look on his face, it was like half concern and half panic. He honestly didn’t know what he was saying either. One second Zuko was right by his side and the next he was just gone. Like he’d disappeared into thin air. Everyone at the marketplace looked so normal, he must have let his guard down subconsciously. Then again, Zuko would have never gone down without a fight so how come he hadn’t noticed anything until he was long gone? Sokka thought about the fact that it was a little loud, he’d find himself yelling over people to get his attention from time to time, maybe Zuko had called for help but Sokka just didn’t hear. It was his only guess so far. Someone in that village must have taken him. Sokka tried to recall anyone that might have been following them.

“Katara, I don’t know! He was right by me the entire time,” He replied.

“Did you see anyone that looked weird? Maybe someone from the Fire Nation took him,” Aang suggested.

No, it couldn’t have been that either because if it was a Fire Nation soldier they would have stood out.

“He couldn’t have just disappeared, Sokka. Try to think of anyone that might have stood out,” Suki said.

There were so many people in that marketplace that all the faces seemed blurred. He did remember all the merchants he’d tried to haggle with but none struck him as the kidnapping type. For such a small village there were a lot of people out that day, he wondered why. Most were older, like the elderly, he doubted anyone walking around with a cain would be able to pull something like this. Maybe there was a face he kept seeing but never realized it.

That’s when it hit him.

“Oh wait!” He exclaimed.

Sokka remembered two girls that were at a booth next to the one he and Zuko were at, they sold mirrors or something. He remembered them whispering a lot and one of them kept looking over at the two. He’d overheard the word ‘cute’ and teased Zuko about him finally being able to get some action. He didn’t realize it until now, but he kept seeing the girl that wasn’t managing the booth later on. At other booths, talking to merchants near the ones they were talking to, or just close behind. Either way they were always near them.

“There were these two girls and one of them might have been following us,” Sokka said.

The group looked at him dumbfounded, well everyone except for Toph, cause you know.

“That’s it?” Suki asked. She crossed her arms and raised a brow.

“Hey, it’s something!”

Katara sighed, “We need to get him back. I mean, Aang still needs to master firebending--”

“And!” Aang interrupted her. “Zuko is our friend. If one of us got taken he wouldn’t leave us behind.”

Suki and Toph both agreed. So did Katara, though more reluctantly. Sokka had a feeling she’d forgiven him but that he still got on her nerves.

“Alright, then we need to head back to that marketplace. It’s the only lead we’ve got so far.” Sokka climbed on top of Appa and everyone else followed.

He’d felt like he’d failed again somehow. He knew Zuko could handle himself as well as anybody else, but he felt like he failed as a friend. Friend’s are supposed to be there for each other, not to mention Zuko didn’t even want to go shopping with him that day. Yet, Sokka decided to be selfish and drag him there anyway. Maybe if he hadn’t brought Zuko with him none of this would have happened. Sokka couldn’t stop thinking about how easily he’d let someone he cared about slip away, again, there wasn’t even a fight or anything. There was nothing he could have done to prevent it from happening. He was there and the next second he wasn’t.

Sokka was pulled out of his thoughts when he felt Suki’s hand rest on his shoulder.

“We’ll find him,” She said.

“I know.”

Suki gave him a reassuring smile, and he felt better for a few seconds. Only a few tho.

Yao had to be having the worst night of her life. Scratch that, the worst month. She had to deal with annoying old customers the entire day and the only break she got was when Y/N had come over to chat, which would be once in a blue moon.

She swore people were getting dumber by the day. One man had continuously asked her if the mirrors her father made warded off evil spirits. When she’d told him she couldn’t answer that question he’d accused her of being one of them. Once an elderly woman dropped off crows in front of her shop and told her she’d trade them for the most expensive mirror Yao had. When she refused to accept crow currency, the woman squawked at Yao and then ran away. On the bright side, Yao now has 3 pet crows.

She was just glad to be able to go back home and finally relax--

“Um excuse me?”

Oh for fuck’s sake. What was it this time?

“Yes, hi, hello. Would you like a mirror?” Yao turned towards the front of the booth while giving her usual greeting to customers. “Oh.”

She was met with the boy she and Y/N were talking about earlier in the afternoon. His friend with the scar wasn’t with him though. This time he was with three others that she’d never seen before, and some weird looking animal. If they were going to try and sell that thing to her for a mirror Yao was going to lose her shit.

“Hi, my name’s Sokka and I wanted to ask about the friend that was with you earlier.” He spoke. “You know, like this tall, (e/c) eyes and (h/c) hair.”

Y/N? Why did they want to know about her?

“Why do you want to know about her?” She asked.

As soon as she had a girl with blue eyes stepped forward.

“We think the girl you were talking to might have our friend,” She said.

Yao blinked. “By have do you mean . . . like taken?”

The girl’s face dropped as she nodded and the rest mirrored her.

Yao stood there wide-eyed. She couldn’t think of one reason why Y/N would even think of doing something like that. The few times she’d come to visit her she’d been one of the nicest people Yao had ever met. Though the more she thought about it, she didn’t really know anything about Y/N to begin with. The things she did know weren’t that important. She knew Y/N was a traveler, which was why she’d only see her once in a while, she knew she traveled alone, that she had a pet polar bear named ‘Ro’ and that her birthday was during spring. Yao knew she was one of the only people Y/N actually talked to in the entire village, that she was around her age, and that she was considerate enough to bring Yao something from where she’d traveled last everytime she came back.

She didn’t know what Y/N was like beyond 10-minute talks.

“Well, she’s a traveler. But, she comes back here every couple of weeks cause she’s got a place south of here.” Yao took a deep breath and let her eyebrows crease. She couldn’t believe this.

The girl smiled and thanked her, so did the rest of them.

“Hey, wait!” She waved them back before they could all leave. “I’m sure this is all some misunderstanding, ok? It’s just--I mean if she does have your friend . . .” Yao looked down and wrung her hands.

“She’s a good person is what I mean,” She finally said.

None of them said anything, which was understandable. She would find it hard to believe herself too if she was in their shoes. But she really did mean it, Y/N was a good person, Yao would even go as far as to say she was one of the best. Even if she didn’t know every little thing about her, it doesn’t take a genius to see the good in someone.

The group only left with another ‘thank you’ and a ‘goodbye’. When they were gone Yao didn’t felt like she couldn’t feel relieved to go home anymore, this was news she could have gone without hearing.

She opened the door to her house and set all of her things down, though it still felt like weight was on her shoulders.

Recently, the habit of checking up on her dad as soon as she was home was something Yao had wired into her brain. When she walked into his room, he greeted her with a smile and asked her about her day.

“How’s that friend of yours? What was her name again, Y/N?” Was the first thing he asked. When Yao was little she swore her father was a mind reader, he always seemed to know what was wrong or what people were thinking about. This just proved her point.

“She came back today.” She dipped a dry towel into a bucket of water and set it on his forehead.

“She’s not in any trouble lately, right? I still remember how distressed she looked when I’d first met her,” He said. Once again, he somehow knew what was going on, maybe her 9 year old self was right.

“No, she’s been doing fine,”

Yao could only hope what she had said was in fact true.

Y/N convinced herself she was dying of a horrible, terrible, horrendous illness. She felt her life wilting away at the tip of her fingertips. Memories of her criminally boring and short life kept replaying in her head, she had so much she hadn’t achieved yet. Was this really the end for her? Was she seriously going to die in the middle of a random tundra on a sled? Y/N felt her head start to get fuzzy. This was it.

Y/N had finally succumbed to awkwardness.

No words had been spoken ever since her and the Prince had gotten onto the sled Ro was dragging along the ice. Usually these sort of rides were pleasant for Y/N, there was something comforting about the cold air hitting her face and then being able to warm up at her usual checkpoint. Nostalgia decided to slap her in the face and remind her of all the times she’d take long rides like this with all her friends, there’d be laughing and banter. They’d try and come up with as many games you can come up with while in the middle of a tundra, like whoever could spot the first otter penguin got all the best food. On the way back home there would only be comfortable silence and a few people whispering, not wanting to wake anyone else up. It’d be dark and sometimes the stars seemed almost too pretty, like people weren’t really meant to see them. Her friends would try and make out constellations or just make up their own.

A wave of sadness came right after nostalgia and decked her right in the face. She would never be able to go back to that. Everyone was gone. Gone, gone, gone, gone, gone, gone, gone.

THEY’RE GONE AND YOU DID NOTHING.

Zuko’s knee bumped into her’s and she shot him a glare.

“Sorry,” He said.

“Whatever, just stay on your side will you?”

Those were the first words they’d spoken for hours and Y/N can’t decide if it was a blessing or a curse. Silence settled back in and Y/N can’t hear anything but the Prince’s breathing.

“Stop,” She demanded.

Zuko looked over at her confused, which she understood, he hadn’t done anything yet, something about him pissed her off. Before she’d planned on hunting him down and brought other people to General Lee, they wouldn't be riding next to her. Let alone in the same sled. There'd be a long rope behind her with an even smaller sled attached and that’s where they would ride. But, ever since Ro had gotten injured he couldn’t bear(HAHAHAHA POLAR BEAR)all the weight. Y/N blamed herself for that too.

“You. . . you breathe weird,” She said. Y/N didn’t think about how much of an embarrassing thing that is to get annoyed about. But she was too full of herself to admit at the moment. She’d somehow convinced herself that the painful ride was completely his fault.

Zuko gave her a look that told her she was the dumbest person alive. She knew she deserved it but it still offended her.

“It’s to keep me warm,” He replied defensively, he was acting like she’d insulted his whole family.

This was something that had piqued Y/N’s interest though. How was he keeping warm with only his breath? Was it a form of firebending? She’d never really heard of anything like that.

“Oh. . . how?” She asked sheepishly. She realized how contradictory her actions were. Before she’d continuously told him to shut up and not ask questions, maybe it was the boredom setting in. It might also be the fact that this guy was the same age as her allowing some sort of unwelcome comfort between the two. Y/N didn’t have many people her age that she could talk to anymore.

“What?” Zuko looked less surprised about her question and more surprised that she was trying to make conversation.

“Like--like how do you do it?”

Zuko paused like he wasn’t sure if he should answer or not. He must have thought it was some sort of trap or something.

“My uncle taught it to me, I’m not exactly sure how to explain it.” The mention of his uncle seemed to have made him uncomfortable so Y/N didn’t push any further. Which meant they’d both have to go back to silence. It seemed less awkward now that they’d exchanged a few words. The sled kept moving forward and Y/N found herself actually being able to relax for a few seconds, everything was going according to plan.

The Prince surprisingly hadn’t pulled any escape attempts, so she even found herself letting her guard down around him at times. An example would before they’d left. The sun was a few hours from rising and she’d offered him tea, it wasn’t like she was a monster or anything, she only planned on keeping him downstairs for a few hours to scare him. He’d accepted and sat down at the table. While he drank Y/N leaned against a wall and tried to keep an eye on him. But, she’d been up for so long she found herself dozing off.

It was only for a minute, maybe five but it didn’t matter. When she’d woken up she panicked. She’d really fucked up this time, he wasn’t there. His tea cup was empty and set back onto the table. She’d run outside first, no sign of him. Y/N ran back inside and went down the staircase, she doubted he would head back here but there was no other place. She was right.

There he was, sitting at your desk and shifting through your notes and letters. Y/N was so confused more than anything else. Why would he . . .

Not only that but he was weirdly compliant, besides the occasional stupid question and vocal frustration about being in chains he was more bearable than she’d expected. He hadn’t even tried to escape once. At first, Y/N had thought Zuko just wasn’t threatened by her. But if that had been true wouldn’t he had attacked her by now? She’d find him staring at her on multiple occasions, at first thinking that it was out of hate, but she never saw anything but annoyance or slight irritation. Which is just below normal for someone who's been kidnapped and taken somewhere against their will by a stranger.

He looked like he was trying to figure her out and she didn’t like it. Y/N couldn’t deny she’d been doing the same thing to him though, trying to figure out why he was acting so strange for someone in his position.

A lone otter penguin caught Y/N’s eye and dragged her out of her thoughts. It was gliding along the ice and approached the sled the two were riding on.

“That’s weird,” She mumbled.

Zuko turned his head and looked at the animal then back at her.

“What’s wrong? It’s just an otter penguin,” Zuko dismissed.

Y/N shook her head and turned back toward him. “They’re usually in packs, it’s odd to see one by itself--”

CRACK!

The sled tipped over but she couldn’t register what was happening quickly enough to do anything about it. She manages to catch a glimpse of what caused it before landing flat on her back.

An ice eel. Well really it mostly resembled a huge leopard sea lion mixed with eel, but that was what Yao’s father would call it. She’d always gotten so lucky with avoiding it, why now? Of all the other times she’d cross over this water why did it happen this time?

Y/N felt her breath being slammed out of her. Cold ice hit her back and her vision was engulfed in darkness when the sled landed on top of her. It had also landed on her arm, but she chose to ignore that detail for now, doing that obviously helped when she managed to push the thing off of her.

Her first thought was whether or not the Prince was injured. She looked over to her right to see him face first on the ground struggling to get up. Okay good, at least the cargo was safe. Y/N didn’t have any more time to gather her thoughts when she felt the ice beneath her start to rumble again. She struggled to get up on her feet and ran over to Zuko, grabbing his arm and pulling him upward.

“Come on, get up!” She exclaimed.

He groaned and yanked his arm away from her hand, which is something she would’ve taken as an insult if she hadn’t noticed Ro dangerously close to being devoured. The polar bear was running towards the two with the eel close behind.

Y/N left Zuko’s side with swiftness, ignoring his protest. Bringing her hand up to her waterskin, she bended water out and used it to slash at the eel's face. It hissed and slowed it’s pace making a big enough gap for Ro to get away.

The monster doesn’t stay shocked for long, it dove into the ice and another crash could be heard. At first, she’d thought it had given up, surely having to chase for food for this long was too much. Y/N was too smart to believe that though. She could feel the eel circling around her under ice. She thrust her hands towards the floor and waited.

“What are you doing!?” Zuko yelled.

“Not now!” She replied rather angrily.

“Unchain me and I can help--”

Zuko didn’t get to finish his sentence when the rumbling of ice started again.

There.

The eel burst through the air again to Y/N’s right, a little closer to Ro and Zuko than she’d like but she’d have to make it work.

Y/N pulled her hands up and propelled all the water she could into the air. She then threw her hands to its direction and the water followed. She turned it to ice when the large serpent was hit and watched while it got encased. It wasn’t enough.

The eel thrashed it’s body around violently, shaking off the ice like it was just some winter coat.

Suddenly the eel threw itself at her headfirst. They both collided and Y/N was thrown backwards into the water.

For some reason Y/N’s first reaction was to try and breath in, you know, cause she’s a dumbass. To be fair she did get the wind knocked out of her five seconds ago.

It felt like her body was having a huge brain freeze, but she didn’t have too much time to think about how cold it was. She was losing her breath but the eel just kept on pushing her down. This was when panic was starting to set in.

How far down were they already? How much breath did she have left? Was Ro going to be ok?

She managed to fight the current and punched the animal in the nose, at least what she’d thought to be a nose, eels don’t really have noticeable noses. It’s eyes narrowed and it let out this sort of awful scream.

Y/N bended as much water as she could and pushed it towards it, trying to get as much space between them as possible. The water slowly started to circle around it and started to pick up pace, the eel couldn’t get past the strong currents and would only get pushed back. The water turns into ice and it ceases to move.

Y/N pushed herself to the surface and crawled out of the water, she rolled onto her back and tried to breathe. She could feel her whole body going numb, the air was somehow colder than the water now and she was starting to think that in comparison the water was more of a hot tub. Maybe she should just crawl back in.

Once the dots in her eyes and the ringing in her ears disappeared she noticed someone had been yelling. She rolled over and if her lungs didn’t feel like they had exploded and been grounded to mush she would’ve laughed. He was still there.

Zuko was frantically trying to get the ice shackles she’d made for him off of his hands by firebending and banging them onto the side of the sled. Ro was across from him at another hole the eel had made, he must have mistaken it for the one she had gotten pushed into. She swore he was looking into the water and was on the brink of tears, who knew polar bears had so much emotion

“Shut up, shut up, shut up! I’m trying!” Zuko yelled at Ro while continuously slamming the shackles onto the sled, quickly getting more violent.

Y/N reached out and tugged on his shirt.

Zuko ceased what he was doing and yanked his head towards her direction. Y/N shakily brought her hand up and waved towards Ro’s direction. He ran towards her and sat by her side, he wasn’t whining anymore, what a drama queen. She patted his head and reminded herself to give him a treat later.

Y/N brought her attention back to Zuko and furrowed her eyebrows.

“What are you still doing here?” She asked.

Zuko pulled a face, like she was the stupid one.

“What?”

“You could’ve run away, you could even leave now! I’m practically half dead.” She tried getting up but ended just falling down again, proving her point. “For a prince you’re kind of dumb.”

Zuko grimaced, like she had just slapped him in the face. Something else seemed to cross his mind too, like he was fighting with himself. She guessed it must have crossed his mind, leaving her behind and escaping, but for some reason he hadn’t. Y/N couldn’t stop thinking about what kept him from doing it. What was with him?

“I wouldn’t get very far anyway,” Was his only answer. She knew it was a shit excuse but was too tired to interrogate.

Zuko extended both of his arms towards her, expecting you to accept him wanting to help you up.

“You piss me off,” Y/N muttered.

Zuko’s face turned into one of bafflement. “I piss you off?” His eyes narrowed and he threw his hands into the air in frustration. “If you’d just gotten rid of these stupid chains, I could have helped! And last time I checked you’re not the one being held captive!”

“See, that’s what pisses me off about you.” She said. “You’re not supposed to be helping me, we’re not on equal ground here!”

“What?” Zuko’s face fell and for half a second Y/N thought she’d hurt his feelings.

Y/N finally got it. What Zuko had been pulling wasn’t kindness, it was pity. He pitied her. Why else would he have made things so easy for her? Why else would he have been so compliant? What other reason could there have been for him to not escape during the two chances he had been given. Everyone from the Fire Nation was the same. She’d seen the same look Zuko would give her on General Lee’s face when he’d destroyed her home. She begged and begged for him to spare her and bring back her family. And that day she saw something cross his face. Pity. He pitied her.

“Sokka, this is getting us nowhere,” Toph said for the billionth.

They’d been flying towards the south with Appa for hours now and hadn't seen anything and by nothing at all he meant nothing. It was just all snow. It sort of reminded Sokka of home but if it was completely barren. Everyone was starting to get tired, which was understandable. They’d been up all night and the rising sun was there to prove it. The cold really didn’t help either. Everyone was a shivering mess except for Aang.

“This makes no sense.” Sokka held up a map he’d bought from the village from earlier. “Stuff is supposed to be here, you know like buildings. There’s even supposed to be another village a few hours away too.”

He swore that if this wasn’t a literal tundra a tumbleweed would be seen.

“Well I can’t see anything. Literally,” Toph said sarcastically.

Sokka was starting to think that the map he’d bought was some kind of rip off or something. There was nothing here but snow and ice. He was starting to lose hope about being able to find Zuko quickly. Things weren’t looking too good.

“Hey look.” Suki pointed towards the ground and at first Sokka couldn’t see what he was trying to point out, but when he took a closer look he saw it.

“Aang, get Appa to land there,” Katara said.

“Yip, yip!”

Sokka was the first to get off and investigate. It was an igloo, sort of like the ones back home. Something was odd though. There were always multiple, making up one whole village or tribe. This one stood alone, Sokka would go as far as to say it looked sad. Half of it looked poorly rebuilt too, like someone haphazardly built it back up themself, which was in great contrast to the well made part of the igloo.

“I think this is somebody’s house,” Sokka said.

“Yeah, like the ones back at home.” Katara put her hand up to the igloo in an almost homesick demeanor.

“Guys,” Toph had her hands on the ground. “The snow and ice might be messing me up but, I feel something hollow underneath that thing.”

“Is it really okay for us to go in there?” Aang asked.

Toph got up from her position and walked right in.

“Guess that answers it then.” Aang and Katara walked in after her.

Sokka turned towards Suki before walking inside.

“I’m gonna check out more of what’s out here,” She said.

Sokka nodded and told her to be careful.

The interior of the igloo was almost . . . homey. There were lots of shelves with books towering all the way to the top, pretty mirrors that looked awfully similar to the ones the girl he and everyone talked to sold filled a part of the wall, lots of rugs decorated the floor all of them looked like they had different styles, but somehow they all worked together. Herbs and medicinal notes sat on a tea table next to tea cups. There was a sleeping bag on the floor that looked recently folded. Sokka couldn’t place it, but something felt wrong. Even though the room looked complete, things looked like they were missing somehow.

“Toph, didn’t you say you felt something underground? I don’t see any doors leading to it,” Aang said.

Toph pointed to a wall, “There.”

Katara motioned her hands towards the wall and took it down. Behind it was a small flight of stairs.

“Okayyyy this has officially weirded me out,” Sokka said.

Aang grabbed some of the paper off of the wall and observed them.

“Whoever did this was planning for a long time,” He said.

“Yeah but why?” Sokka asked.

He walked up to the small desk in the corner of the room. There were basic desk things like ink, writing brushes, and paper, but Sokka noticed something that looked completely out of place. On the desk, nothing looked out of place and everything was neat, yet the room was messy and unkempt. So the crumpled up piece of paper on the desk really stood out. Sokka picked it up and read it.

“He’s acting like a detective again,” Katara joked.

Aang and Toph snickered. Sokka ignored them.

“Dear fuckass General Lee,

I’ll be on my way soon to bring someone new,

so don’t flake out on me.

I’m not kidding, I'll gouge your eyes out and boil them like eggs and feed them to my pet polar bear.

Anyway, I get to pick where we meet this time since you fucked me over the last.

The waterfall.

You’re not that dunce so I’m sure you’ll figure it out.

Have a shitty evening you Fire Nation pussy.”

Sokka could now see why she might have crumpled the letter up and started over.

“They’ve given him to a Fire Nation general,” Sokka said.

He waved the letter around and let them read it. At least they sorta had a lead now, he’d need to take another look at any of the maps he had and mark down any waterfalls.

“This is bad,” Aang said.

Sokka nodded and there was a pause of silence. If they didn’t find Zuko before Y/N turned him in, things were going to get a lot more complicated, that’s what he guessed that was on everyone’s mind. They had to find him soon.

One thing that confused Sokka was why someone that obviously wasn’t from the Fire Nation was helping a General. From the looks of it, this was someone who was from a Water Tribe, so why would they be helping someone completely against them? Brainwashing? Blackmail? Mutual hate for the Prince of the Fire Nation?

Sokka pondered on the last one, it was the most convincing. He had a feeling Zuko had angered a lot of people before joining their group. He’d even say after.

“Guys!”

Everyone turned their heads when they heard Suki’s voice. She was waiting for them in front of the door leading to the staircase.

“What’s wrong?” He asked.

“There are tracks behind the igloo. If I’m guessing right that’ll lead us right to him,” She said.

Sokka finally felt hope rise up in his chest. Maybe things would go smoother than he’d thought.

Maybe it was finally getting Eren’s POV, or maybe it was finally seeing the rumbling in nine glorious double page spreads. Either way “Dawn for Humanity” was very well received with close to 70% giving it the highest possible rating, marking this the most acclaimed chapter since chapter 123.

A dawn, or a beginning of a new day, has arrived. Whether this new day is a good or a bad one for humanity, we do not yet know. Everything is still possible, but once this day is over, the world as we know it is no longer here, for better or worse.

A new age for humanity is incoming. The story will end as a tragedy with Eren achieving his goal.

Dawn means the start of the day. So I think the start of the rumbling will be the start of humanity for this world. I think we started to see this with the world fleet being there to try stop eren. I believe every country is helping people flee regardless of race. Maybe I'm just too idealistic.

I think it refers to a new beginning a new start for the eldians living on the island or it can be used as an ironic way that the humanity outside the walls is going to end so it's complete destruction hence the beginning of the new cycle

Continuation of "End's Eve" as this is the dawn of the day where humanity fights for its continued existence

"Dawn" refers to Humanity's realisation of many things. Eg: how Eldia is not a weak nation, how the Rumbling wasn't a lie, how people are people and they are all the same - wanting to live and shedding the same blood no matter what nationality they have. "Humanity" refers to those still alive and realizing these things.

WHAT ARE THE FUTURE IMPLICATIONS OF ANNIE DECIDING SHE'S TIRED OF FIGHTING AND NO LONGER WANTS TO STOP EREN?

Despite learning that her hometown is doomed, just over half of respondents feel confident Annie will stay the course and continue to work with the alliance. Among the rest of responses, 27.4% think this will trigger Annie’s exodus, selecting “Annie will leave the alliance and try to be with her father,” 16.9% believe this will cause Annie to do something stupid resulting in her death, and lastly 4% of the fandom believe this bad news will trigger Annie’s homicidal instincts causing her to switch sides and join Eren.

Poor Annie's breakdown made me feel terrible for her. I still think she wants to leave but I think there are chances of the Warriors and/or Armin convincing her to stay and fight. As one of the nine shifters, she kinda has the responsibility to fight, even if she doesn't want to, and I get completely why she doesn't want to, poor thing. I have a sneaky suspicion that she might choose Porco's way out and we might yet see a new holder of the Female Titan power. :(

WHAT WILL BE THE FATES OF THE ELDIANS IN LIBERIO, SPECIFICALLY THE WARRIORS' FAMILIES?

When asked about the residents of Liberio and the fate of the Warriors’ families, a combined 58% believe that they are alive for the moment selecting that they were evacuated (39.3%) or else managed to escape (18.4%). Close to 30% aren’t so optimistic, believing Liberio is flattened and they are dead. We also had plenty of write in responses:

What if the city Eren attacked isn't Liberio? I feel like it's too important to be flattened just like that (thematical resonance + too many side-characters like Eren's own grandfather are there) and we're being misled about the place Eren is attacking.

HOW DID YOU FEEL ABOUT HISTORIA'S STANCE ON THE RUMBLING?

Many of us had expectations about Historia going into this chapter. Her initially disagreeing outright with the rumbling but seemingly giving in was a surprise to 8.4% who thought she would have been all for it all along, and 19.9% who never expected her to agree with it at all. 6.4% of you expected her to do the opposite of what is implied, with agreeing at first but changing her mind in the conversation, while 23.3% reported expecting the exact turn of events. However, a huge 41.5% of you aren’t taking everything at face value and do not believe Historia does or has ever supported the rumbling.

DO YOU BELIEVE EREN IS THE FATHER?

After almost 2 years of the fandom fighting over the identity of Historia’s baby daddy, this chapter has finally definitively proven that… we still know nothing. Nonetheless, the narrowly winning belief (37%) is that Eren is the father, closely followed by those who believe he is not the father (34.4%). Some are unsure what to make of the situation (18.2%), and some of you don’t care enough to speculate (10.4%).

If Eren is the father, I think it's possible Historia wanted his baby to keep a part of him with her after the rumbling is over, or perhaps it was an attempt to make him want to come back when he's done or even not commit genocide.

why does everyone keep saying Eren is the Father confirmed? There is literally no evidence to support that, and it actually contradicts Erens statement when Zeke discusses Mikasas feelings towards him.

What if the "what if I have a child" scene with Historia actually happened EARLIER than the rest of the conversation? It would explain why they switched places, and if Eren really is the father, would explain why he feels he has such a say in Historia's child's future ("even if you agree, I don't" ) , and why when he spoke about the MPs he said "WE have two options: fight or run". It would also give him a motivation to oppose his friends, since they are trying to stop him.

I don't see his conversation with Historia in romantic light. She was scared of him and Eren was trying to manipulate her with her own words about being ""the worst girl on the world"". We still miss some important parts of their conversation, but if she agreed to help him because he reminded her how ""the worst girl"" she was, then I would be very disappointed. I saw her as strong woman and I hope she will not turn to be a mild sheep who isn't brave enough to follow Ymir's wish and ""live her life with pride"" (or ""live sticking her chest out"").

I have no idea for which purpose Historia want to become pregnant, but I'm glad that I was right that she decide it for herself and doesn't get forced at all!

I think the fact that the Ackermans can access the Paths without being shifters is going to be super relevant. My pet theory is that Mikasa will be able to cross into the Paths dimension to kill Eren and truly free Ymir Fritz, but let's see how that goes.

HOW ACCURATE WAS ZEKE'S ASSESSMENT OF MIKASA'S FEELINGS TOWARD EREN?

One of the few areas of agreement in this chapter was with Zeke’s assessment of Mikasa’s feelings towards Eren. Close to 80% think that despite having never met Mikasa in person, Zeke correctly understands that Mikasa’s concern for Eren has little to do with genetics and everything to do with reasons of the heart. However, the majority of people who took the option of writing in their answer cited both as a factor in Mikasa’s bond.

HOW DID YOU FEEL ABOUT THE PLACEMENT OF FLASHBACKS DURING THIS CHAPTER?

The majority of the fandom really enjoyed the inception-like flashbacks, but 1/5th just found it confusing as all hell. A sixth of the fandom is just fed up with Isayama blue-balling us. We’ve been in this relationship 10+ years, Yams, it’s time for you to give it up!

Loved the interwoven flashbacks, and made sense considering a lot of the "unknown" conversations(Eren with Yelena, Floch, Historia....) all tie into each other. Made sense to them like this, and plus there is still some mystery from his talk with Historia.

E-H convo should've been shown months ago; now is not the time for flashbacks.

The confusing flashbacks also reflect Eren's state of mind. The placement was well done.

I don't mind it, but i feel Isayama was, to a certain degree, struggling to work all of this information organically into the story, so he was forced to choose this flashback method to get it out there.

The juxtaposition is very purposeful, while I don’t necessarily like what it implies, it is indeed impactful.

The way the flashbacks were placed would look amazing in the anime, but in manga format it looks a lot more confusing!

People might say this is Isayama being mysterious and showing us everything but revealing nothing as he always does, and yeah and if this was 10 chapters ago I might see that as a positive, but this late into the series it feels like it was just a waste of a chapter.

They were good because they connected with each-other; though I had to reread the chapter several times to distinguish who was talking because it flipped so much.

WHAT IS THE MEANING BEHIND EREN IMPLYING HE "WANTED THIS", REGARDING THE FUTURE OF THE RUMBLING?

Continuing Eren’s ongoing theme of the question of free will and determinism, this chapter presented us with the possibility that Eren wanted everything that has happened from the start. Depending on your interpretation, of course. The majority of respondents to this question (54.7%) believe that Eren has been convincing himself there was no other possible future due to seeing said future play out in front of his very eyes, and 17.1% somewhat similarly believe Eren did not want this in the conventional sense, and he is an unreliable narrator. A smaller 12% believe this is confirmation that Eren’s vengeful nature caused this, closely followed by 9.5% of you who just think he is a lunatic.

Despite him talking as if this future was fated to happen he still seems aware enough that his own decisions still led to this outcome. From his perspective all of this was meant to happen because he already saw his future memories, but he doesnt deny that the path he took was still by his own will.

I've given up trying to understand Eren's logic. It's just too bizarre. I will wait until the story is finished to form any opinion about him.

Eren was bored in his original universe and wanted humanity to have a threat so he made the aot universe via Ymir and became that threat himself.

Even if a significant part of Eren wants to eradicate his enemies out of rage/revenge, really deep down it’s been shown he wishes there was another solution but right now he doesn’t want to admit he’s surrendered to his destiny. So Isayama’s going to come back to this by having Eren admit to himself he isn’t really free/this isn't what he wants, which will be the culmination of his character arc (what will he do then?…).

Nearly 45% of the people who voted, thought it was a deus ex machina move from Founding Titan by Proxy, which granted Eren a glimpse at all Eldians’ memories. FT/Ymir lets Eren see the memories of all Eldians. It will come up again. I don't get some of the angles/perspectives though.

It's possible some of these things haven't happened yet, or that Eren has access to the memories of more shifters somehow. For example, Berthold might be a memory Annie or Reiner have and Eren will receive if he eats one of them while they try to stop him.

I have absolutely no idea what the deal is with the Falco and Bertolt memories but I'm sure they're not inconsistency errors considering the care that went into showing that the Mikasa/Grisha/Levi etc. panels are clearly from Eren's POV. I expect answers really soon (and no, I do not think he controlled Dina’s titan to kill Carla, that would be pure character assassination). Hange's panel looks like it's from the future, as well as Mikasa's unfamous 'see you later'. The geese are also interesting but I have no mindblowing theories about them unfortunately..

The mystery of the Fez persists once again, with this being the tenth chapter since he was first shown. Though by a small margin, the consensus is that the purpose of his story is to reaffirm Eren’s determination to wipe out the world at 44.8%, with 33.4% of respondents believing he will be a tie to Eren’s compassion and remorse for what he is doing, and 17.1% believing it highlights Eren’s inherent hypocrisy for caring for him even though he will die by his actions later. Many write-in options expressed confusion at who this kid is.

Eren believes that suffering and oppression of minorities will never end just by small acts of kindness and simular "passive" acts, like what Levi did, it does not provide a long term solution or prevent Fez-kun'sfrom furder torments, which is why Eren feels like the extreme solution of the rumbling is his only option

However I think Eren will not just save him by beating up or killing the Marleyans, but inspiring the Fez kid to take action and "fight" just like he did with Mikasa. This arc has had a lot of focus on the almost inhumane level of violence Eren showed as a kid when killing those kidnappers, so I can see that being for the purpose of a direct parallel where Eren pressured the kid with the fez to stand up for himself.

I think Eren saved Fez-kun of those guys, but then he will kill him later, showing his own hypocrisy (those guys can't do bad to a child but I can).

I expect his shard(s) to contrast the other previously unknown panel from 120: Historia’s shard was revealed to be yet another instance of Eren manipulating a friend by putting his desires above her own, thus robbing her of her free-will. I hope that Fez-kun symbolizes the "beauty in a cruel world"

Despite the threat of Eren Jaeger previously being referred to by name or as “the Founding Titan”, this chapter encapsulated the horror of the allied forces as they recognised it as the Attack Titan. The plurality (40.3%) is that this was just for the purpose of Isayama being able to drop a “Shingeki no Kyojin” in this climactic chapter, though a close second option (34%) is that there is historical information to distinguish the Attack Titan from the others. 15.2% of you believe the Attack Titan is the Titan Bogeyman for Marleyans, and 10.4% attribute the naming to the fact that it’s attacking them, duh.

I think the Maryleans/World Forces knew it was the Attack Titan bc of the Eldians in Marley (like Annie's dad) warning them ahead of time. I think once they realized The Rumbling was happening, they asked for more deets from the folks who heard Eren's message in the Path's Realm.

Him being a slave to himself (38%) just edged out him being a slave to fate (36.7%), with a slim minority (3.3%) believing Ymir could be the true puppeteer. Of course, there are the 21.9% of you who are remaining steadfast in the belief that Eren is NOT a slave, he is FREE.

He is using this memory of his mother being eaten to motivate himself, like a main drive. It's not the first time. Anger/Rage was always the main drive that he used to keep fighting/seeking for freedom

This is already similar to some of the options presented, but I like the idea that this is showing deep down he is driven by his childlike rage, and as much as he tries to convince himself it's for his friends, he really just wants to revel in violence because he's broken and he thinks wiping everyone out is the only way he will be at peace.

THIS CHAPTER ALSO PRESENTED US WITH TWO ALMOST DICHOTOMIC MOTIVATIONS FOR EREN, BETWEEN LOVE FOR HIS FRIENDS AND HATE FOR THE ENEMY, BUT WHICH DO YOU BELIEVE IS THE STRONGER DRIVING FORCE?

The two most powerful and conflicting emotions driving Eren right now have the fanbase somewhat split over what pushes him further. It seems that most are optimistic about Eren’s prime motivation being the wellbeing of his friends at 59.7%. Meanwhile 40.3% believe that Eren’s love for his friends has been eclipsed by the roiling hatred and thirst for vengeance within him. Even at this point in the story, it’s hard to be absolutely certain – safe to say Eren is a real menace when he feels this strongly about anything.

I feel like I finally fully understand Eren's mindset, even though there is probably still more to his POV. He just wants his friends to be happy and live long lives, so he had to push them away especially after Sasha's death.

This chapter Eren can't disentangle love from fear/hate/loss due to what happened to his mother, which is why his feelings about his friends now manifest so destructively.

Eren's memory chain went from remembering his friends smiling, to Sasha's death and Fez-kun being beat up, and eventually to his mother's death and his vow to kill all titans, showing that deep down he knows his motivation to protect his friends is bullshit and that his "enemies" are mostly innocents, but he keeps moving forward due to hatred and revenge.

Eren has never healed his trauma. It was "eating" him slowly and turned him into this he hated the most - a devilish monster.

The transition to Eren's pov and the fact we didn't learn anything new beside some basic confirmations, is really strange. And if Eren ends killing the friends he wanted to protect, he will be a complete disappointment. I really am afraid of SnK's ending.

"I want my friends to live long happy lives" he says after treating them like shit, breaking their spirit, and partially ruining their home island with millions of titans. I hope he doesn't act surprised when they show up to stop him (assuming they can catch up of course).

I don't believe the word "animals" align with Eren's current perspective, nor how he sees his "enemies". He holds the same ideals as he did as a child, but realises the nuance of his enemies and how people on both sides are ultimately the same. He just believes this radical action is the only necessary way to end an unstoppable inter-generational conflict in his lifetime so these problems aren't handed down to future generations anymore.

ON A SCALE FROM "SECRET PLAN" TO "KILL 'EM ALL", WHERE DO YOU STAND ON EREN'S TRUE INTENTIONS?

This chapter all but confirmed that Eren indeed plans to wipe out the entire outside world for most of the fandom. The majority are skewed towards the opinion of Eren definitely rumbling everything, with less and less respondents holding onto hope that Eren has an alternate plan.

Eren wants this rumbling and he's ready to sacrifice others to get what he wants, even his friends.

I gotta say, I thought Eren would've had a real plan that wasn't just massacring everyone else on the planet. I was already against the plan, but I suspected he'd walk the other side of the ocean and then announce to the world that the existence of titans was no more and destroy all the titans as proof, and all the shifters would just be normal people again.

His goal is to wipe the titans out of this world, and not to flatten it.

I support the rumbling, cause Marley deserved this by trying to eliminate Paradis, but at the same time there are so many good people there(including eldians themselves) that haven't done anything wrong. Military and leaders of marley should be eliminated, but not the poor people that had no choice.

This hateful world is needed to be purged and I support Eren for this. And when Rumbling is over that beast piece of sh** must die by Levi's hand.

Somehow, I can't shake off the feeling that we still haven't seen 100% of Eren's plan, there is still some twist waiting. I am not trying to justify Eren's current actions, it's more like ""if there is something that will throw this whole scenario upside down it better come up soon, because right now IT DOESN'T LOOK GOOD"".

I want to believe thtat Eren has a secret plan in the rumbling but the chapter says that this is what he wanted, he had always been like this, he was always “free” sadly, he’s enslaved by his beliefs of freedom that he resorts to these drastic measures.

I think that this chapter confirms two things: one, the Rumbling is Eren's true plan [...] BUT two, there is "something beyond that hell", which is the "scenery" Eren says he saw in ch. 121. I think it's the endgame after the Rumbling is stopped (no way is it going to be completed), and it's what caused both Grisha and Historia to go along with his plan in the end even though they didn't agree with it and thought it was awful. Eren's "everything is still ahead" and the weird cut in Historia's flashback are too... strange and seem to point to this being a game changer and the final plot point of the series.

If the rumble will succeed, then I've spent 7 chapters seeing characters do nothing to accomplish nothing. I don't wanna feel my time wasted.

I unironically want Eren to kill everyone outside the walls. Nuff said.

WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THE REPEATED BIRD IMAGERY?

Birds are a focal point of this chapter, with the combination of a four-panel tracking of a soaring seagull and a flash of a memory of some nearby geese. The majority of respondents (62.5%) believe the birds simply tie into the theme of, and likely Eren’s motivation of freedom. THIS CHAPTER HAD SOME AMAZING ART, SHOWCASED IN THE MANY DOUBLE SPREADS (EXACTLY 9... OH GOD WHAT DOES IT MEAN ISAYAMA??) WHICH WAS YOUR FAVORITE DOUBLE SPREAD?

Whether it was the break back in May, or Isayama’s dedication to highlighting this chapter’s importance, the art has definitely taken a step up and blown us all away. Though it is very split, the final double spread showcasing the commencing of the rumbling garnered the most votes (18.2%). At second (15.7%) was the imposing silhouettes of colossal titans rising from the ocean, and at a very close third (15.5%) was the very next spread, of these titans wiping out the battleships as casually as if they were wading through seaweed. If there’s one thing to make of this from what the winners have in common, we have all definitely been waiting to see the rumbling for a while.

Solid Art, phenomenal design and usage of double spreads

I just wanted to add that this is visually one of the most beautiful chapters I've seen in a while. The colossals, holy shit. I can't wait to see this animated. All of those double-page spreads were pretty fantastic but I have to say there's nothing quite like the chill that runs down your spine when you see all those colossals emerging from the smoke and the mist, where you see for the first time how huge and terrible they are (and also when you realise the first line of defense is already down). I had legit goosebumps.

CHAPTER 130 MARKS THE END OF A VOLUME, WHICH HAS BEEN FILLED WITH ALLIANCE-FOCUSED CHAPTERS. WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS NOW THAT WE'VE FINALLY RETURNED TO EREN?

After six consecutive chapters focusing on the alliance with no Eren, the majority of you (57.6%) are relieved to finally move beyond the alliance, though have enjoyed the recent chapters, with 20.4% being completely over the alliance. 7.4% say they were originally sceptical but the chapters did well to make the alliance likeable to them, and 14.6% are open to more chapters just focused on the alliance.

Please for the love of God more of this and less of the alliance, the alliance was so rushed and as it's continued it hasn't been developed much further beyond plot convenience. The less of that I have to read before I get to read amazing stuff like 130 the better

Enjoyed the chapter due to a return to debating the morality of the Rumbling, and seeing it in progress. Also tend to enjoy interaction between Eren and Historia. However, I think the chapter is slightly let down by being cryptic. It's hard to tell what is going on with Eren due to how scenes from this issue and others can be interpreted.

This chapter marks something that has changed everyone's thoughts. Not just about Eren, but Annie, Historia, Zeke, etc. We heard them speak differently, and got a few answers to our questions. We got to see that Annie does indeed have emotions. That Historia did not want this. That Annie never really wanted to kill, nor does she want to anymore. That Zeke actually cared for Eren. That the father is most likely farmer-kun. It's one of the best chapters we've had. Each chapter we get, we get closer to the end of this wonderful story. I can't wait to see what Isayama has planned for in the final chapters. Truly hoping for the best!

Fantastic chapter, though it felt really short

Floch was Eren's lieutenant all along, he was his representative, and his actions are therefore Eren's responsability all the same. Get fucked those who didn't want to believe that Eren would consciously choose Floch, believe in him or to set things up for Eren in Paradis.

I'd like it if the Ackerbond was not as supernatural as it was claimed before. Not because of EreMika, MikaHisu would be much better than both options of this chapter. Now we know that Levi or Kenny's loyalty were real, and it warms my heart. Also, my bastard wasn't lying! He knew about the plan.

It confirmed everything we already knew: Historia didn't support Eren's plan, Ackerman weren't slaves, Mikasa's feelings for Eren doesn't have to do with the fact she's an Ackerman and the fandom is stupid for still believing Eren is the father despite him literally telling Zeke that he can't answer Mikasa's feelings, because he only has 4 years left to live.

My heart was beating so hard during Eren and Historia's conversation because I just couldn't believe we were actually seeing her again, it had been 2 years since we got anything this relevant from her and I also just really wanted Isayama to get on with it and tell us who the damm father was so that we could finally move on to other things. I still don't believe it's Eren, but I'm done with that theory, man. No more teasing, please. Two years is far more than enough.

Chapters like this one, which perfectly captures the culmination of Eren's entire journey, make me glad to be alive at this moment in time to experience Isayama's masterpiece. I'm not ready for this story to end in just one more volume.

I really loved the art and double spreads, and seeing Eren's POV after a while

I think it's the 2nd best chapter we've gotten this arc. The 1st being 123. I loved it. I also think it's putting to rest the secret plan theories regarding Eren. I've made my final prediction for the series. I think it's a tragedy that will end in Eren destroying the world & manipulating everyone's memories except for Historia & Mikasa & a new age for humanity will begin.

I'm so glad my girl's back, but I'm confused as hell. There's definitly more to her meeting with Eren and her choosing to be pregnant, we'll see. Also Zook being a love conselor and having a Ackerman phd was hilarious, I love him even more. Erefloch canon.

I think that now I understand Eren better. I used to believe he had some secret plan, but the true was always there - Eren is not any master mind. His plan was simple - destroy the whole world. The trauma he had after losing his mother has never been healed. It was always in him, growing bigger and bigger. He still cares about his friends, but he is also lying to himself saying that ""he is doing the rumbling because he wants to see them having long, happy life"". He is doing it because his hatred to the ones who are responsible for Carla's death took control over his heart. Eren is adult, young man but deep down he is still the same, hurt crying child who bears painful memories of losing his mother.

The cycle of war and hatred is saddening. This ain't something fictional, it's something we have always been observing from the earliest human consciousness :(

Alex ze Pirate Mini Review 4: The EED: Emotional Exposition Dump. Or why THIS is not friendship

So here we are. The last part of this 45 page three parter, meant to be about what Sam really means to the crew. And what have we seen so far in the previous parts? That Sam is not just their underappreciated, but downright exploited slave (yeah, did you know that in ancient Greece slaves supposedly had more rights than Sam in this one? At least they could buy out their freedom one day), that Dobson has no idea how to genuinely pace a story, turning what could have been a decent 100 page story if planned out and presented with more care into a 45 page short snore fest and that Hat Andy’s idea for jokes are either based on abusing token buttmonkeys, turning annoying memes into even more unfunny jokes or making dark comedy with dead orphans.

At least when South Park makes jokes about children dying, they are appropriate in that dark setting and the death is still in some way handled or refered to as a horrific event. In Dobson’s case however, it just leaves a bad taste in everyone’s mouth.

Sorry, I just can’t get over the orphanage thing. If Dobson wanted the reason for Sam leaving be that he finds out someone he cared about from his old life is dead, that is one thing. But did this asshole have to destroy an entire building with countless victims to do it? Couldn’t he just have one person die and the rest be still at that place? Honestly, I think it would have been funnier and more meaningful emotionally, if Alex and Co actually interacted with people from Sam’s past and in doing so learn more about him as a person, by genuinely visiting a still standing orphanage. Give the comic some meat on the bones and in doing so actually create the impression this comic is truly about Sam and not just about characters doing random stuff in relation to finding him. Instead Dobson goes for a literal overkill, which he then does not even treat as a tragedy but as a joke.

Dobson, THIS is a better and more dignified joke about orphans than the shit you did.

You got outclassed by Chuck Lorree of all people on this planet, you disgrace of a storyteller. A storyteller who can’t even keep his own barely existing continuity in the Alex-verse straight, now that I think of it. After all, according to Legends, the orphanage was closed and all the orphans were sold out to others, with Sam being the last of the litter

Which again is just unintentionally more horrific than Dobson likely intented. But you know, dumb people don’t know when they do dumb shit.

But I digress Let us just get into the last part. In which we finally see the “emotional” pay off of everything that happened so far.

Spoilers, this is my reaction to that pay off.

And here is what everything led up to now.

Sam ran away, because he wants to say his final farewell to his sister figure, we never knew about at all and about whom we do not learn one single thing really.

Where do I begin with how this revelation fails?

Let’s start with the fact that this in execution does not have the emotional impact that was intended. And why is that? Because Dobson doesn’t bother to actually introduce us to the sister as a character.

If I may digress a bit to talk about One Piece here: In the manga, oftentimes Oda will “interrupt” an ongoing story arc to feature flashback chapters, through which he tells about past events referenced in the “present” chapters prior. Through those flashbacks he further gives meaning to why in present time the characters facing certain foes or having to win in their current situation, is so important, even on an emotional level. In short, those flashbacks are no interruptions, they are integral in giving those story arcs emotional weight.

Because now we are not just “told” why we should care about things and people, we have been shown why we should care. The old rule of “show, don’t tell” being followed on.

A good example from a more “recent” storyline I can think of, is through the flashback chapters of the Dress Rosa story arc, where we are not only being shown how De Flamingo took over the kingdom of Dress Rosa and brought pain and misery over its people for years to come, but also the past of characters such as the gladiator Rebecca and Mr. Soldier, her father figure that raised her up from the time she was 10 and De Flamingo took over… only for the flashbacks to also reveal properly how Mr Soldier is not just a father figure for her that took her in, but her biological father Kyros, who had been turned into a toy by one of De Flamingo’s henchmen via a power, that also took Rebecca’s memories of her dad away so she never identified the toy as her dad.

This way Oda achieves multiple things at once; Among other things, he establishes how evil De Flamingo is, how tragic Mr Soldier and Rebecca’s lives really are, adding to us the readers wanting to see them and Luffy beat De Flamingo into a pulp and it makes the later “present day” moment when Mr. Soldier and many other victims turn back to normal and Rebecca regains her memories and is reunited with her dad so much more sweeter. Cause now we care.

Truth be told, I myself believe that Oda is one of few storytellers on this planet, who truly has “mastered” the technique of emotional flashback storytelling.

A technique Dobson could have used in this part of the story, but didn’t. Cause honestly, the way he tells how Sam’s sister was “important” to our poor cabin boy is not emotionally engaging from a storytelling perspective. We are told she is important, but we learn genuinely nothing about her, not even what her name was and what she looked like except from that one picture in the locket from over 15 pages ago. Nothing about how “close” she and Sam truly were is revealed through showing, only telling and as such we don’t even begin to care for her relationship with Sam and how her loss is genuinely important to him. So the main goal of this story, to make us the readers feel something for Sam aside of pity for how he is treated by his supposed friends, has not been achieved.

… Dobson, you are a hack. You can’t even use flashbacks, a basic technique in the realm of storytelling, to show us why we should “care” more, heck, even at all, about Sam and his loss.

If you just had adjusted a few things, you could have had something good here.

By adjustments I mean the following: Take the first page of this chapter as well as the first panel of the second page, and combine them into the final page of the previous chapter. In doing so creating a proper cliffhanger for part two. Then start chapter 3 of with a few pages (lets say 6 or so) showing young Sam and his sister interacting in the orphanage in doing so turning her from a nameless plotdevice into a genuine person to care about. And then use content of page 2 and 3 of this chapter, to elaborate on their relationship, potentially with small cuts always between present day Sam at the grave explaining himself and saying his farewells, with pictures of the past showing what they meant to each other.

But nope. This very basic idea a fanfic writer now has come up with, a fanfic writer who never studied literature or took writing classes by the way, something I doubt you did at college the more I read your work, has never crossed your “superior” mind.

Also, I find Sam’s text on page 3 really, really backwards in a way. Like, I get that we are meant to consider it a good thing Sam is this way. You know, being genuinely selfless and wanting to make others happy. And don’t get me wrong, generosity and selflessness are virtues I hold in high regard. But the way Sam talks about how he just wanted her to be happy while sacrificing any fulfillment of basic needs for himself feels more like a pathological disorder in that case than something to reach for. In fact, psychology speaks from different forms of generosity and the thing Sam describes here is likely “compulsive giving” or “unrelenting generosity”, a pathological variant that can be highly toxic for all people affected by it.

Funny how Dobson, a person who wants to claim he is all for mental healthcare, is essentially “promoting” the positivity of a psychological disorder via Sam.

Then again, this also feels more like Dobson putting words into Sam’s mouth (in a literal sense) to retroactively make Sam’s treatment look less horrid. Cause now Sam doesn’t just do all the work because he is ordered around, he deep down is “happy” doing all of the work and gain not even some basic respect in return, because he cares so deeply for his friends.

… I feel myself get livid again here.

And the next few pages don’t really help me “calm down”.

Cause now the “justifications” just go on. The thing that is meant to be a heartfelt farewell turning into Sam “justifying” that hey, it must be good that he ended up with Alex and her crew. Cause after all, by being abducted years ago and being treated as a slave who in the ginger’s eyes is worth less than lint, he likely avoided dying of shitting his pants and a crushing roof. Ignoring the fact that he was going to be sold out anyway back then and would have potentially ended up with a more generous master than the crew of non Captain Syrup.

Also, just all of the shit going on in page 6. Sam asking his “sister” to be at peace, when likely, if the girl could still talk, she may even just ask Sam the following: Who the heck are you. Cause really, if you think about it, if Sam did all the nice things for her in secret, did the girl even realize she had a “big brother” figure to watch over her? Also, him saying he is happy and he is doing quite alright for himself?

All the pictures of him sighing and looking in misery in this story alone, plus the cavalry of strips I posted about how Sam is abused in the first part of this post series tells me another story.

Finally, Sam’s message “At least now, we are both free”? Sam, she is dead, likely having died in pain when a house crushed on her, weakened by a deadly disease and traumatized by other children around her dying of said disease. And you are stuck with a bunch of people that haven’t shown to care for you up until this story and the only reason they may even care for you now is out of “sympathy” because you lost your sister figure, not because they genuinely love and care for you as a person. As far as I am concerned, you would be better off being the slaveboy of some nymphomanic pirate princess in the world of Berserk than you are on this plane of existence.

And now that the “emotional” farewell is out of the way, Dobson can go back to focus on the characters he really cares about in this shit anyway: Little Bitch Annie, lesbian chocolate rain Miroku and Deadpool’s pubes.

Oh Alex, you are such a rascal. You really make me want to shoot you with a crossbow, stab you in the eye, hurl you out a window and shove explosives where the sun won’t shine.

Yeah yeah, you are a pirate, but that doesn’t mean you need to be that awful as a person or even protagonist.

Christ. For someone who complains how toxic Walter White is to the point he believes “sympathizing” with the character turns you into a nazi, Dobson certainly is blind to how awful Alex really is, particularly as protagonist in a comic series intented for little kids. Compared to her, I can think of freaking slasher movie villains with more of a moral compass. Like say what you want about Jigsaw, at least he never victimized genuine children or teenagers.

And Talus, thanks for ruining the “emotional” moment Sam “earned” by pointing out how weird it is he kissed a gravestone. Also, I am glad I know what happens in the next pages or else I would assume Alex’s great idea includes to dig up his sister and turn her into a life sized doll for Sam to cuddle.

No, their ideas to assure he is emotionally save and to redeem themselves for years of taking him for granted/hurting him, is to throw him a surprise party.

… you know, I think you may be the only individuals in fiction, that Pinkie Pie would think do not deserve to throw a party or get one thrown for.

But I guess Sam is just so nice, he even throws you a party for no apparent reason.

Either that or now that his “sister” is dead he will overcompensate even more and this is the next destructive stage of his compulsive generosity.

… Sam, I am sorry for your loss. But you need to get help. Once by the authorities who will hopefully get rid of Alex and then by some psychologist who helps you redefine your own self worth.

By the way, I find it funny that the banner he made also actually only mentions Talus, Atea and Captain Daphne with a bad hair day. It just confirms that Peggy either never bothered to join the others or that Dobson developed an early onset of dementia and totally forgot about the fact that the midget is a genuine character in this trainwrack. And I am convinced the later is the case, which really just makes me wonder how someone is able to do that. To forget a major character of the thing they create and want to turn into a money making franchise. Imagine if Disney did e.g. a sequel to Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, only to forget about the god damn dwarves themselves.

At least Talus finally realizes he is unworthy to get a party thrown or be Sam’s friends. Good. Now jump into a wood chipper and free ourselves from your existence you dog beaver thing.

Content of the next page in a just alternate universe… Alex: You are a better human being than I could ever be and this is all because my creator is a hack who does not know how to create genuinely likable personalities.

Fuck, even Jack Sparrow, who is an opportunistic jackass, in a movie where everyone stabs the others at least three times in the back, was less selffish than Alex, when he gave up his chance on immortality as Captain of the Flying Dutchman, just so Will would live in some form.

Metalbeard from the Lego Movie cared more about doing the right thing than anyone in Alex the pirate did. You created the worst friends and “heroes” I have ever seen in a webcomic since the entirety of sinfest. Congratulations for that accomplishment, Dobson. It really takes a special kind of anti-talent to show such level of not understanding the power of friendship as one of the most basic tropes in storytelling, to the point a show about pastel colored equines managed to profit of it for nine years.

Anyway, here are the last two pages of this thing, to end on what is meant to be a whimsical note because Sam actually gets something from Alex that is not a beating or verbal abuse.

Too bad anything that would feel heartwarming about this is drowned by a) me actually remembering all the shit Alex, the crew and the writer pull to get to this point (from abusive neglect of the characters to pathetic emotional manipulation on a narrative level) and b) the weird rapey face Uncle Peggy makes in the picture. Like Jesus, did Dobson try to emulate the Burger King here?

So I am going to give my final verdict on this story with the next post around the weekend most likely. Cause that is how much time I will now spend rereading One Piece and watching the Pirates of the Carribean movies in addition to playing the Pirates level of Kingdom Hearts 3, in order to forget this shit and remind myself why I think pirates are cool.

However, I don't know if that song properly counts since it wasn't written just for the show, but whatever. What is something you’re grateful for that humans have made/have continued to make exist? What about something that you wish that humans didn’t destroy? The Internet, whew. I wish humans would stop destroying the fucking environment. It's heartbreaking how many woods are wiped away here for construction, only to never be built on... While evil men are commonly talked about, what woman would you consider the most evil? I don't know, but it would probably be a rapist or pedophile. Those are probably the people I abhor most. Do you believe children can be evil? If so, what child from history do you believe to have been the most evil? I don't really think children are born evil, no. I've never heard of a diabolical baby or anything. I think the environment they are raised in molds them as they age. I don't know about the last question. Name one way that music can be bad for humans. It can be depressing sometimes, actually dragging your mood down, especially if you already feel low. What has been one of the most blatant advertising in a movie, show, or music video? Some of these questions are hard man, idfk lol. What book have you read/listened to that “messed you up” (or made you have a lot of negative feelings afterward)? Johnny Got His Gun left me feeling so spiteful towards and disappointed in the world. It definitely made me feel down for a while. If you don’t have one but would like one, have you thought about what you would get your pet? We definitely don't have the money for "high quality" stuff. What works, works. So one night when I was lying down to go to bed but also texting Jason, I was being playful and joked for him to sing me to sleep. He sent me a video for "The Mortician's Daughter" by Black Veil Brides (one of his favorite bands) and just pasted the lyrics, and I thought it was the cutest fucking thing ever. I went to bed listening to it and just smiling. It's why I just don't listen to it anymore. I shouldn't have even talked about it, soooo next question. What are the top five places you wish you could go before you die? Ummm South Africa, Yellowstone National Park, Germany, Alaska, and the Bahamas, maybe. How many tattoos would you like to have? Analogue clocks are way more elegant and can be beautifully decorated. Who is your favorite foreign singer/musician? Do you translate his or her lyrics? If you exclude English-speaking foreign bands, like from the UK, Rammstein for sure. I can translate some of them. Say something in a foreign language? "Liebe" means "love" in German. What is a weather-type that you like that not many others do? Snow, for sure. I've never understood the "ew, snow" type of people. It's so pretty. Granted, it's rare here, so it's more of a treat down here, but still. Who do you know personally that has a nice singing voice? Sara has a beautiful voice. What was the last word you learned? I have no clue, given how bad my memory is becoming... It's hard for me to learn anything nowadays, because it doesn't stick. What is your favorite culture? (that you find most interesting): I'll be honest, I'm not very well-informed on foreign cultures. Due to taking so many classes though, I do find German culture to be quite appealing. They are very serious about honesty (for example, telling someone you're okay when you're not is frowned upon in small talk, even), as well as manners. I would love to experience their lifestyle. If you could be any supervillain, which would you be? Ha, I could probably pull off Harley Quinn pretty easily. Though "super"villain sounds a bit strong for her. What’s the most historic thing that has happened in your lifetime? Either Covid or 9/11, probably. What’s the scariest non-horror movie? I personally think the idea behind Johnny Got His Gun is fucking terrifying. What’s the most amazing true story you’ve heard? More beautiful than "amazing," but whatever. I can't think of anything else. Jason's mother actually left his father to go back home to New York when he cheated on her, but he followed her all the way there, and they wound up reconciling and were very happily married since. They were a spectacular couple, and I miss them a lot. What brand are you most loyal to? I have no idea. It's hard to be loyal to any when you're not the one buying products. Where are you not welcome anymore? Well, speaking of him, probably Jason's house, haha... I feel that if I just showed up there, his parents would honestly be super happy to see me and want to catch up, but Jason, not so much. I doubt Colleen would welcome me into her house, either. What’s the most recent show you’ve binge-watched? Avatar: The Last Airbender w/ Sara. What’s a common experience for many people that you’ve never experienced? Just... adult stuff. Paying bills. Having a stable job. Passing their driver's test. What are some misconceptions about your hobby? We'll use forum roleplay here, in which case I know a very common misconception is that it's sexual in nature and is a kink. It's never been that for me. It's about building unique, complex characters in a vast universe of your creativity, meshing with other's. It's a beautiful thing to me. What’s the dumbest thing someone has argued with you about? Oh, I'm sure something with Mom... because she is absolutely never wrong. What’s the longest rabbit hole you’ve been down? Conspiracy theories on YouTube, aha... What odd smell do you really enjoy? I really enjoy the smell of lilacs, though I know people who think they smell too strong and/or just stink. What is your favorite flavor of pop tart? I really like the chocolate sundae ones. Gum? I really like fruit-flavored gums, especially watermelon or strawberry. Last song you sang along to? I sang a bit to "Second Chance" by Shinedown. Are you fascinated by rivers? Yeah, sure. Streams, more specifically, because you can see the bottom and walk more safely in them. Do you find train whistles comforting? No. What bird is the cutest? Oh, that's so hard. I love the pastel-colored ones, and hummingbirds are like, universally cute. Are you scared to look at your own organs on x-ray or ultrasound? No, that's actually really cool. Do big eyes freak you out? On people? Generally, no. I tend to find them cute, actually, especially on girls, but I've definitely seen people with big eyes that instead look kinda creepy. Have you ever walked on a frozen lake/river? Hm, I'm actually not sure. I don't believe so, though. Have you ever held a real sword? No. Have you ever seen a tree over 100 years old? Uh, realistically, probably? That's not that old in the grand scheme of trees, is it? Do you feel uncomfortable at fancy restaurants? I can sometimes, yes. I feel very out-of-place.
