i don't think u need to worry about poppy ikemen anymore, new ride kamens character is kr kamui who is our lord and savior dan kuroto
DAN THE DANGEROUS ZOMBIE MAN!!!!!! I was SO excited when I saw the reveal, he is absolutely the funniest possible character choice hands-down. oh my god. I'm so glad he made it into this game.
also Kamui just looks incredible. instant favorite. this is the kind of man I can picture standing naked on a cliffside and screaming at everyone about his imminent ascension towards godhood. he is the incarnation of that one iconic Gina Linetti scene.

you ever think about how edwin got like. no warning, no time time to process, nothing, when he reappeared on earth faced with the fact that virtually everyone he knew in life is dead. his parents? probably died in the 1950s or so (at best) almost forty years prior to edwin’s return. if any of his classmates were still around, they’d have been elderly, possibly senile, and in a few years they’d all be gone– except, of course, edwin. nothing looks the same, cars look like spaceships, there actually are spaceships, he can no longer see the stars, and everyone he knew is dead.

I can't think about armand's age/gender dysphoria without wanting to scream for a thousand years. how he's constantly seen as a young boy because he was turned at 17 but by that point even before he's lived a minute as a vampire he already hasn't felt like a boy for years. and all the men who see him this way want to use him like a man without treating him as one. he's constantly saying to their faces that he is a man with wants and desires and feelings and they're like hmm that's nice. not to me though. but not in a way that protects any of the child in him. they're not like, you're a boy and that means you should be kept safe. they're like, you're a boy and that means whatever I do to you is not real. because you're not real and now you're so frozen that no matter what you do you never will be. literally no wonder he has every problem.

I jokingly thought before that reading Junie B. Jones as a kid turned me into a feminist, but unironically, it kind of did.
I honestly think it comes down to the fact that Junie B. was not only allowed to be "weird," but her character arc never concluded like other girl characters would. In other media featuring "weird girls," the girl always ended her arc tamed - by force or convince, she would be prettied up, she would smile and be polite, and she would never speak out of turn. She would be perfect then, and would shed her veneer of individuality with the freedom that is conformity. As a kid, I noticed that girls weren't permitted to be "weird" like boys were. So when I read Junie B. Jones, I loved that she was frankly just fucking weird. She said things out of turn, she was rambunctious and imaginative and she was a realistic portrayal of a little girl. I loved reading those books because the narrative taught her lessons without punishing her for being weird, if that makes sense. So often, narratives punished weird girls for the crime of being a socially unacceptable girl, not for any true wrongdoing like lying.
Anyway, I just think it's interesting, because I watched and read a ton of books and shows and movies featuring girls and women, but none of them truly empathized with (or even tried to empathize with) weird girls on their own merits and capabilities and terms, or embraced the idea of a "socially inept/unacceptable" girl without punishing her in some way for her supposed ineptitude.

Headcanon/au but imagine that the reason Lily got together with James was actually to make Severus jealous
In all the Severus and Lily interactions, she's the one who blushes when he's all intense. Not him. Obviously he relaxes and calms down when she assures him she has no interest in James Potter but that's very different to outright blushing. It's easier to assume Lily had a crush on him, while Severus's love could have been platonic.
And it genuinely seems so strange that out of all the people Lily fell for, it was James. He had a crush on her (okay, an obsession really) but she had no interest in him. Yes, I know apparently she liked him back after he "matured"- but that comes from Sirius and Remus, who have never been fully honest about Severus. And Sirius, for some reason, specifically points out that James didn't hex Severus in front of Lily, and while he isn't fully honest, the fact that this detail is specific means it may be true. Meaning that James specifically avoided targeting Severus in front of Lily. Meaning that she cared about Severus still to the point that he didn't want her to know he was still targeting Severus (and here's James being all good and noble lying to his partner instead of just being nice to someone she still cares about).
So imagine that the reason she got with James at all, the worst enemy of someone she still cared about (note that she never said she didn't like Severus, only that they chose different paths. For all we know, she could have also still loved him, yet couldn't support his decision, for good reason), is because she specifically was trying to make Severus jealous.
Think about it. Talking to Severus doesn't work. She knows this. She knows how much Severus does care about her. And she obviously had to have seen at least one person do this to their ex or something. So she decided that the only way to get Severus to come back of his own will was to make him so jealous he came back.
What she didn't count on were two things: 1) he loved her enough to finally do what she wanted, and leave her alone, and was going to respect that regardless of how he felt and 2) she was starting to actually fall for James
