Hi! first of all i love your legacy <33 I have no idea how to phrase it, but how do you make your reshade pick up lighting so nicely? Like the light blends and stuff. God i get it if you have no idea what i mean JNGGNF

ah! thank you, if i'm being honest i'm not 100% sure, i used @nesurii sunset vynil preset & adjusted/added shaders based on other presets i liked and this is what i'm kind of working with now. most of the light leaks/shadows are in game lighting. below are the shader's i'm currently using and the differences if that helps!

Here we go again...

Of course, the first outing they had on a new planet, Logan slipped. However, even though he'd shoved Khan out of the way of the spiked bullet...fuck did it hurt. Having curled in on himself once he hit the brick column, teeth bared to the fog creeping in, holding in an animalistic snarl of pain so he wouldn't scream, so he wouldn't alert more.

Khan's voice came to him like a shadow, the murmured demand for the crew medic to assist, and suddenly he was there. Logan almost drifted to him like a moth to a flame, his forehead shifting to rest against one of those shoulders while his eyes squeezed shut. A wave of pain tore through him, along with another groan stifled by a clenched jaw.

A pale hand came and snatched Logan's chin up, and a kiss, hard and raw, covered his lips. It was almost like a balm, for just a moment, and Logan bit the other's lower lip just before it was over. He wanted more, so much more, but he'd have to wait. Breathing heavily through his nostrils, the medic arrived, and Logan released something akin to a moan as he was poked and prodded. Hands clenched into fists as he once again returned his forehead to Khan's shoulder, ready for the thing to be ripped from his flesh.

Anti-technology people who insist they're not ableist crack me up. What about people who rely on machines to breathe, eat, keep their heart functioning, or otherwise stay alive? "Well not that technology, obviously!" Ok what about AAC users, people who use hearing aids, or otherwise use technology to interact with the world in ways they otherwise couldn't? "Not that technology, obviously." Okay, my mobile phone is my memory, my sense of time, my sense of direction when I get lost, my ability to contact someone when I need help. It is my personal freedom because without it I would need full time care and supervision. But yes, that technology, right?

I hate how technology is made and utilised under capitalism as much as the next guy, but to pretend that technology doesn't greatly improve the lives of countless people, or even allow them to continue being alive, is to be willfully ignorant to the existence of disabled people. A world without technology is a world where a lot of disabled people don't get to survive. Capitalism is the problem, not the technology. Technology can (and should) exist just fine without capitalism.
