I am devastated on thinking Timmy's fate in the series... I won't put my faith that they will handle it well, so I'll just indulge in fanworks to fill in this void. If they ever do it well one day, then I'll be there for the encore.

For now, I think you'll see a lot of somewhat depressed art on FOP for a while lol. Not continuous mind you! University is a bitch to get through. Whenever I'm free that is. Which is on long stretches of time unfortunately... Still, when I'm not posting trash, I'll be around observing quietly. You can guarantee that at least.

The work this time is inspired by @xblubotx (the adopted parents kissing Timmy one so cute omgosh) and @cubbihue FOP AU (sorry I have not memorised your AU yet). I admire that Blubot can adapt the FOP artstyle so well lmao. It'll be lightyears before I can do that 😭😭😭. Also, their Timmy fanarts break my heart, thank you. For the fairies design, I took inspiration from Cubbihue's AU. I think it's cute that they have tails, but there's not much I can say regarding their AU since its still developing. Take your time on that and have fun by the way.

The context for this one is just that Timmy is embarassed that Cosmo and Wanda are giving him the affection he is missing out from his parents. Poof is laughing from Timmy's embarrassment lol. (Not using Poof's new name because that is not that iteration of his character.) Timmy got a lot of fairy dust to remove from his face on that day...

Hm, are there side-effects to fairies kissing a mortal (on the cheeks hehe)? I kinda wish there was a comprehensive mythology book for stuff like that. There's some sources where I read that fairies kissing humans can actually result in their soul being whisked away to the other world (essentially dying yeah) and some sources say that fairies kissing you means its their way of marking territory or for good luck??? I wonder where those myths came from... but it is fascinating to think about. I guess Timmy will die young then /jk lol.

I got input from my younger sister that a darker color background is better than the dark blue one I used initially. I'm quite unsure on this, so I'll just post them all... I also don't think I nailed Cubbihue's AU on the fairy sizes... It's hard to accurately draw characters on a specific scale for me... Oh well, I can practice more. This took me 3 days at least. Also, here's a png version of the piece and two photos of the concept sketches.

Hai i saw this and knew what I had to do, have you ever heard of the Silver Phantom? Its in School of Dragons from the books, and its such a pretty dragon!

I remember when the Silver Phantom came out in SoD and I kept seeing them everywhere! It IS a very pretty dragon, I love the unique wing silhouette so much

I'm not in 100 years reading wind, so what's the nightstar stuff as well as the harelight execution scene?

The Nightstar Stuff is that they're constantly making it clear they KNOW that cats can lie about getting the 9 lives, they KNOW that a murderer can receive the lives, and they KNOW that StarClan has never rejected an evil cat before... but then they handwave it away because they don't wanna do anything.

Nightstar/Nightpelt gets namedropped six times and vaguely alluded to a dozen more, but it means nothing to the story. You could have just forgotten him entirely and the plot would happen the same way.

Most of this book is the leaders finding excuses to sit on their butts, but I really only need to share one exchange to demonstrate just HOW stupid this is,

it wasn’t unusual for both of you to be awake at this hour. normally it would be because of work. or a nightmare or simply being unable to sleep, but this time it’s different. this was the good way of staying up at night with leon.

the radio that was sitting on your kitchen counter creating background noise as the two of you looked up at the stars and the moon. you could faintly identify what song was playing and it slowly pulled you back to that shitty bar just outside of town where you met him.

you teared your eyes away from the sky and looked at leon who seemed to be lost in thought. for a moment you appreciated the domestic part of him. his hair tied in a small ponytail to keep his bangs out of his eyes. both of you knew that it did not work because some strands always managed to slip out of the hairband, just like it did now.

you slowly brushed his ash-blonde hair behind his ear which broke him out of his trace. you smiled at him as he turned his head in your direction and managed a small “Hi”.

“Hey” the way he looked at you made you want to melt right here, right now on you backyard, with your song playing faintly in the background.

your body suddenly brought you up with an extended hand in his direction. for a moment he looked confused but when he finally recognized the song he couldn’t help but smile at you.

he thought it was silly. he felt like a stupid teenager that just asked their crush out to the prom. but it was you. and he would do everything and more just for you. so with a breathy chuckle he took your hand and brought it up to lay on his shoulder. you other hand followed.

his hand crept around your waist and pulled you as close as possible. softly swaying from one side to another he never took his eyes of off you.

he never liked his reflection. the dark eye-bags, dull blue eyes that were once oh so bright and the scowl that seemed to be permanently etched onto his features. but in your eyes he had never seen this leon.

you know the saying. how eyes are the portals to someones soul. he thought he lost it but in reality your eyes were the portals to his soul. you brought back the hope.
