Nerdy Prudes Must Die Spider-verse AU

Everyone has a spider persona that are just in different universes, Pete’s spider-man is who we follow when he gets bit and finds out his brother was spider-man just before Ted died.

Then Steph comes in as a spider-woman from another universe and is very confused how she got there, then Richie and Ruth fall in from their respective universes and so on and so forth.

I was thinking Max could be a villain but, i feel like it would be more interesting if he was a spider person too.

The Lords in Black are obviously the BBEGs and are trying to finally destroy all the universes. (idk how or why, they just gotta do it)

Wilbur Cross would fit really well as an uncle Aaron for Pete but like, not as kind or caring and just very evil for fun.

There are a lot of ship possibilities for this and i know if i wrote it, it would be very Steph/Pete heavy for the plot but, i could see Grace/Ruth or maybe some Michie or maybe both in the background. Could add some more angst when everyone has to go back to their universes, leaving the only people they know that get it and possibly never seeing them again.

Y'all I know that when so-called AI generates ridiculous results it's hilarious and I find it as funny as the next guy but I NEED y'all to remember that every single time an AI answer is generated it uses 5x as much energy as a conventional websearch and burns through 10 ml of water. FOR EVERY ANSWER. Each big llm is equal to 300,000 kiligrams of carbon dioxide emissions.

LLMs are killing the environment, and when we generate answers for the lolz we're still contributing to it.

the funniest part of any Robin meeting the JL is that every Robin is so distinctly different from the previous one in terms of personality and vibes that the league literally gets backlash. and like, I don't blame them. not to mention that they are non-meta children that dress as a traffic light and fight crime alongside batman in gotham on a nightly basis. i'd also be a bit concerned.
