So I have a method when it comes to planning stories. I write one paragraph going over the bare basics of the plot, then I just infodump everything that I want to happen in the order I want, and then I turn that into a bullet point list of events that are more specific and easier to follow.

Well, for Standing on the Edge of a Broken World, I have only some of the info dump converted into bullet points. Which lets me easily add more ideas as I get them. And I have gone... maybe a little haywire with the ideas.

The original infodump is roughly 16 paragraphs of unequal length.

The current one has again, been partly converted. The first 16 chapters have been planned. And there's still 51 paragraphs (of unequal length) to be converted.

Uh. Yeah.

... This is gonna be a beefy one.

today on the train home the guy next to me was on his phone and at one point i saw him go on tumblr and he just had like. a normie dash. like it was all photography. of nature and architecture. he was using tumblr the way a heterosexual landscaper for rich people might use instagram. i actually had to watch his screen for a few seconds to be sure it really was tumblr because i was so taken aback by the content he was viewing. this is why algorithmless websites are so beautiful btw because i genuinely didn't know that this side of tumblr even existed. he didn't even so much as scroll past any text posts.

several days' worth of expenses for me became a single digit donation for them. barely enough for a blanket. just like that

it really sucks to know that my money is inherently less helpful no matter how much it'd pay for me, and there's nothing i can do
