okay. OKAY. ok. um. exposing my lore. also SORRY i rarely use color these days bc ive never had a good grasp on it so it’s just. very rough ideas here. a concept if u will.

anyway lore under the cut bc it’s long and all over the place and i do not expect anyone to have the patience LOL but it will be here. for ME. 😌

FOR THE RECORD before there was really an english twst fandom anywhere, i just had my friend in discord as we dove into translations off of youtube early on. these characters kinda were born from discord ramblings and goofy inside joke doodling BUT now im going. to share or whatever. i mentioned these two here but ill probs cover all that again here as i will try to be thorough!!!

anyway i have to give backstory in like 2 sections first. these guys [if u dont care then skip to the bullets for the actual character lore/story summaries], their main purpose for existence is CATERELLA soap opera drama. WHAT is caterella you might ask??? some people in the fanbase either headcanon or theorize or au-ify cater as being in a cinderella storyline bc he’s got the 2 pushy older sisters and kind of a more solemn side he hides while trying to be all upbeat around others yadda yadda. i thought that was FUN. i have. so many different branches of caterella aus/concepts involving other potential cater ships lol, but this is the only oc route. i have a really big web of all those potential ideas but it’s VERY erratic and would be a monster of a thing to show anyone. also it’s embarrassing LOL so it stays in discord. for now.

ANYWAY. first we have CHAR (left). He’s very loosely based off prince charming from cinderella. a friendly guy, in line for the throne or whatever, and I think a third year at RSA. He’s long lost childhood friends with CATER from when they were like, five years old or something, but lost contact when cater had to move away because of his dad’s work.

Canonically, Cater has said he’s had to move around every two years or so because of his dad’s job (i think he’s a banker or something? i dont remember exactly tho). Because of this, cater’s mentioned a lot that he’s not really had childhood friends that he grew up with, like how trey, riddle, and chenya have each other.

a while ago on twitter (or pixiv? idr) when i was scrounging for fanart, I came across fanart of cater and some RSA guy smiling and waving to him, and cater looked kinda like, surprised and startled?

now this was like a Year Ago and I can’t remember how much of it was in the image vs how much came from my inference vs how much i came up with later on my own - according to my discord rambles, adeuce were in that pic in the background going :0, and it looked like they were in town shopping or something and had run into this guy. i feel like i either got the impression from the post that cater knew the guy and he was recognizing and happy to see cater, and cater was either like “uhh who r u” or “oh, uh, nice to see you too what a surprise??” and i was like oooo maybe hes a childhood friend. idr if the post or his design specified he was prince charming or if i did that myself to fit caterella better. i do not remember what the guy looked like in the post lol.

ANYWAY from there i pretty much took off running with the concept of cater having a childhood friend that had a crush on him and then was all sad when he moved away, only to run into him year’s later on sage’s island when he was in town shopping and cater was out with ace and deuce.

OKAY moving on FOR NOW to. lol. Dañarte. like i mentioned in the other post, that very much Is Not A Name and was kind of just a joke at first bc of my typo getting autocorrected.

sorry it’s BLURRY anyway he spawned into existance a few months later when i was trying to say fanart and autocorrect said Dañarte. which is just spanish for harm you. this was maybe while i was tyring to think of a name for char, my friend said it sounded like a fancy prince name, i looked up the meaning, my friend was like oh god it’s a threat, i remembered hans from frozen existed, and then that catrella line grew more branches. he eventually ended up in the role of char’s cousin and a second year[we’ll come back to that]. since hans had that whole thing of i think he was like one of 7 brothers or something he was all huffy about not having a place to rule of his own or whatever?? i was like hmm maybe he’s all jealous that his cousin’s in line for whatever throne they’re a royal family for 🤔 which flkjdslf yeah kinda ended up sounding like leona LOL dont worry about it that’s not the POINT the point is SOAP OPERA ROMANCE DRAMA!!!!

anyway. god this is already so much and i’ve barely gotten into it LOL UM... according to discord here’s a rundown of what my initial thoughts with char were:

rsa and nrc are having a mixer party thingy [hosted at RSA] and cater’s talking about how GRAMMABLE it’ll be and that he wants to find a fun outfit

he jokes(?) “oh maybe i’ll finally find my prince charming there lol~ since no one here appreciates caycay’s charm 😔”

riddle’s like 😒yea yea cater please pull your head out of the clouds and take the first years to town so you guys can do the shopping for the next unbirthday party

big brother caycay takes adeuce and probably other npcs off to do the shopping list stuff

MEANWHILE!!! at RSA, Char is hanging out with BESTIE CHENYA and talking about the mixer with nrc. chenya mentions he’s got some friends at NRC and pulls up magicam to show char some IMAGES- specifically he goes to CATER’S magicam bc riddle didnt really use magicam except that one time he made an acct to help cater study [ft in riddle’s dorm uniform story ❤] and idk trey probs doesnt post much besides maybe baking pics, dont worry about it, the important thing is that he pulls up a selfie caycay took with the heartslabyul family

[chenya voice] those are my childhood besties, trey and riddle, those are their funny little sons ace and deuce, and that one in the middle is cater, he’s fun too-

[char voice] !!! the one with orange hair you said is cater? not cater diamond, is it????

chenya goes back to the main profile page and is like ya it says his last name’s diamond

char’s all 😳 and tells chenya he knows cater, because the two of them were childhood friends!! and wonders if he’ll see cater at the mixer....

chenya goes “oooo or we could go see him right now nyahahaha” bc BOOM cater JUST posted a selfie 15 seconds ago with his adeuce sons out shopping in town!!!!

they zoom to town, chenya jumpscares his pals bc it’s the law 😌 and then char comes up to cater and is like “it’s been so long cater!!! do you remember me??” and caters like 🤔 who’s this pretty boy talking to me 🤔

said pretty boy’s like “I’m char!!! we used to play together all the time when we were little!!! but then you had to move away 🥺“ and cater’s like “....hmmm.... i do that a lot- OH!!!!! I remember now!!! wow, let’s take a reunion selfie 🤗” and they do, it’s cute.

char’s like “haha glad you remember! we were each other’s first kiss after all 😌” and caters like UM 😳 and adeuce are watching like 😯😯 and chenyas 👀

and it’s just something goofy, char’s like “yea we were like five and we had a wedding on the playground and you kissed me 😊 and then we promised to get married for real when we were old enough hahaha” [<- partially inspired by my mother telling me when i was like 2 i ‘married’ my bestie on the playground. i have no memory of this but jklsdfsd ANYWAY]

cater’s all “ahahaaaa omg that’s sooo embarrassing i cant believe you remember that!!!” and char says something like “oh yea of course I do! i had like the biggest crush on you back then and i was soooo sad when you moved away forever 🥺” and caters like oh, ummmmm 👍

still they exchange magicams/numbers/whatever and go about their business with adeuce pestering cater for the rest of the trip like the nosy little brothers they are

fast forward to heartslabyul returning to the dorm and ace [like in the doodle up there ^ lol] LOUDLY barges in shouting something like “CATER HAS A BOOOOOOOOOOYYYYFRIIIIEEEEEEENDDDDDDDD!!!!!!” and cater’s all flustered and swatting at him like ace!!! no!!!! 😤😤

riddle n trey are just ?????? confused

cater’s just like “we just ran into an old friend of mine who goes to RSA now, and he asked me to be his date to the mixer, that’s all!!!!”

juice is just like “👀diamond senpai is this the Prince Charming™ you were talking about 👀” and caters like “🤔 i was totes kidding before but this totally does feel like something ROMANTIC out of a fairytale doesn’t it? haha how fun~”

POTENTIAL AU ALTERNATE BRANCH: for some maybe light angst, a potential trey route, trey’s either quietly listening like oh.... 💔💔💔 bc secretly HE had wanted to ask cater to be his date to the mixer. OR maybe he’s feeling some sadness but isnt sure why, talks to riddle alone later about it and is all “idk what it is with me, i guess i just assumed cater would be with us at the event like the three of us usually are, but i guess... he will be busy if he has a date....” and riddle has NO romance experience in his LIFE so hes just like “hmm yes i suppose it will be different to be at an event without cater constantly at our sides, but i am sure he will still hunt us down for his ‘memories’ to take pictures of, like always 😌“ and they just kinda laugh it off for the time being. but then cater’s texting this boy more and trey’s getting increasingly more restless and coming to terms w/the fact that hes PINING after his BESTIE!!! it’s ok in this branch they would be endgame sorry char

i also had a side note of other alternative branches for vil and malleus being the endgame, like aduece gossip about cater to the first year group and somehow it makes it back to them via epel or sebek. tho vil doesnt get the full story at first and just hears some pretty rsa guy asked cater out to the mixer and hes like “was it neige 😠😒” but anyway this aint about these guys those are just. some of many caterella alts. not even all the alts are char related LOL anyway

so that’s as far as I had for that specific concept before Dañarte spawned. heres another doodle of them

Dañarte starts as an RSA guy but eventually will change to NRC, mirroring how hans was like ‘ooo im a nice charming prince u can trust me’ and then went all jk im a villain bye

cousin to char, second year, they more or less maybe grew up together but Dañarte never met cater or if he did it wasnt often so they wouldnt remember or know each other

Dañarte and cater meet either at the aforementioned mixer or just at RSA if cater’s over there hanging out with Char and catching up

Dañarte is all charming and sparkly like most RSA students so he and Cater hit it off real fast 😉✨ and Char’s like, oh, uhhh, ok 😅??

cater either doesnt know Char’s interested in him again or he’s just not sure what to make of it, Dañarte does know Char’s into Cater and deliberately steals him away bc he resents his cousin. petty teenager drama lol

so ya potential route, Dañarte ends up dating cater for a while. but then [VAGUE SITUATIONS] occur and they have relationship problems and break up, leaving caycay HEARTBROKEN

WHICH!! could lead to more au branching LOL for who potentially is the one to try and heal caycay’s heart, mainly either Char, Trey, or.... SURPRISE, IDIA!!! (also i guess i mentioned vil and malleus earlier lol, all these au ideas came over the course of many months so i tended to forget details 😌)

i hear you going “what? huh?? when did idia get here!???!?!?!” shh. shhh. this post required me, forced my hand even, to ramble about all my aus/unposted fanfiction lol. i do have some mini fanfiction about the idia route that never left discord bc it’s so au specific hehehe but anyway, idia right?

ok taking a break from bullets while we detour here. so back when i was looking for names for char, i found another name meaning charming: eppa! it was cute 😌 this part spawned from more discord glitching and my friend’s idea from there- that eppa is just a fake name that IDIA is using to talk to cater on magicam or whatever bc he’s shy and hiding behind a fake prince charming [prince eppa of rsa!!] persona. this could just be a branch on its own w/o those dudes up there^ OR as I mentioned, he could be an alternative person for caycay to end up with after getting his heart broken. I wrote a little bit of unpublished fic and have a few doodles that follow this storyline lol, but we’ll get back to that later maybe.

ok but basically things could end there OR another bonus for MORE soap opera drama: for whatever reason that i never came up with, Dañarte gets KICKED OUT OF RSA!!!! or just transfers for some reason idk.

i debated on having him in scarabia or pomefiore, but ultimately went with scarabia, and here’s why I said he’d probably be a second year lol

because now he’s with kalim and jamil!!! at first kalim’s like “oh!!! a new friend nice to meet you!!!” but then quickly discovers at pop music club that this is in fact the same Dañarte that cater dated and broke his heart!!! oh no!!!

and cater’s like oh god!! my ex goes to school here now!! FUCK!!

but never fear. he claims he’s turned over a new leaf. that he will be civil. he just wants to start over and be a good boy 😌

cater is hesitant, but doesn’t wanna make a fuss. kalim wants to believe in the good in everyone and wants to give him a chance. and JAMIL who is ALSO HERE bc scarabia, does NOT trust this guy and does NOT want to leave him around kalim alone so he’s making an effort to be around the two of them a lot

basically jamil and Dañarte kinda suss each other out pretty fast as being people who hide their true intentions well under a facade of being polite and agreeable. idk if he’d show up pre or post overblot tho

so he spends a loooot of time with kalim and by extension jamil. and he’s also hovering around cater a lot

circling back to the idia thing lol, in some of the little fics i wrote for this au, i had written from i think idia’s pov and it was snippets that were basically:

idia likes cater, azul likes jamil [lol surprise they showed up in this eventually] and theyre board game buddies that kinda poke at each other about it. idia’s talking to cater behind the prince eppa account, and azul’s the only one that knows the secret. idia and cater bond via the account, idia learns more about cater’s melancholic side, they get really close, convince each other to go to class more in solidarity, cater sometimes vents to ‘eppa’ about the problems he’s having with his BOYFRIEND Dañarte... but idia is there to support caycay bc he’s SPECIAL <3 anyway then cater and Dañarte break up, idia and azul bully each other about how they’re afraid of making a move, blah blah blah. eventually cater’s gossiping to idia in class about how azul asked jamil on a date [i made a specific ref to my fic that i DID publish, Fake It Til We Make It 😌 but that’s not importantdsjlfd], the topic of valentine’s day comes up, cater mentions boohoo caycay is single on valentines day again... and idia has worked up the courage to invite cater to ignihyde’s movie night! hooray bonding irl and not behind the eppa mask!!! ohh but then. fast forward a little? cater’s talking to idia, hes like wow u and i have gotten closer lately, can i talk to u about something personal? u see... my ex asked me out. and i said id think about it 😔 cue heartbreak for idia again!! idia goes to board game club SAD. azul is also there and is like “oh sulking solidarity? i gotchu bro. jamil dumped me :’)” and idia’s like uhhhh fuck azul looks like he’s trying not to cry... wanna play VR games so we can escape reality... and they do 😌

^that’s where the written part ended. i have a doodle somewhere of like. even more soap opera drama. like i think Dañarte had asked cater out and cater was gonna give him a chance, but then ohhh noo guess what? cater’s telling pop music club.... and he’s like “ya Dañarte asked me out again-” and kalim FREEZES. hes like WAIT WHAT. WHAT. OH NO. bc uhhh turns out!!! Dañarte also just asked jamil out. WHAT THE!!! and the only reason jamil said YES(OH NO!!!) was bc he was sulking about his break up with azul 😔 a situation of jamil and azul fighting, breaking up, but still really really missing each other wahhhh making bad choicesssss

i dont think i ever went past there LOL but in my head and heart, that specific branch would have to be a happy ending for idia/cater and jamil/azul, Dañarte is simply there to cause problems on purpose

i also had a side reason, like a bonus for Dañarte’s motives (he’s not that deep a character lol this is mostly just goofs and giggles here) hes basically like “grr i resent my cousin so im going to do everything i can to sabotage his happiness. just because i guess. also maybe i should just become famous on the internet MYSELF since i cant be a cool royal, ill just use my title and charisma, and ill steal the fans of popular people like neige and vil - ooh looks like my dumb cousin’s crush is a fan of them both, excellent. hmm so is this rook person what- oh god no he’s weird and scary i’ll stick to terrorizing cater. anyway-” but i kinda didn’t stick with the magicam thing lol. just like a potential extra bit.

‘ I have a scene in my head of pop music club going to do a small performance sometime after dañarte transferred to scarabia , and Kalim is torn bc on one hand he’s the housewarden and must make everyone feel welcome! But I’m the other hand that’s caters mean ex but on the other hand again he seems so nice and apologetic what do I do!! Selens grad shocked everyone including her, people are taking breaks which is understandable,

the en notice was missing important parts of the jp notice, niji essentially blames the livers,

Other livers leaving is great but also scary, head of overseas management is unqualified,

I heard of Selens graduation, that she herself NEVER KNEW WAS GONNA HAPPEN, last night and I was so incredibly shocked.

I was then on twitter for about three hours looking at drama and everything

And the English translation left out an entire sentence and has mistranslations in it which piss me off so fucking much

And people are taking well deserved breaks because a surprise graduation, that the liver wasn’t even aware of, is scary and upsetting

And then Niji has the gall to try and blame one of the livers

Turning everyone on their oshi’s

And im so scared not just for my oshi but everyone else and especially people like scarle who stream almost constantly, like the girl streams pretty much everyday

Now I’m not a big stream watcher I usually watch vods and clips and I’m not someone who watches scarle often either but I don’t believe I’ve ever seen her on break

And I want everyone to find better management and better opportunities but there’s also the part of me that doesn’t want them to go

Because if they leave they may not come back, and I’m so scared of my oshi’s leaving and never finding them, like kuro, matara, dokibird, and u-san are all amazing and I’m so happy to see them but i can’t help but feel like that’s luck, we got people who wanted to come back and did

But others may not

Some may just leave and not show up, those who haven’t had a past life may never come back

and I’m not one for digging into finding livers past lives in case they quit or anything, and I try not to follow any alts that a liver may have while they’re still streaming

I get it. Selen is/was an amazing person but Millie didn’t do anything, she wanted to help fix whatever the problem was.

out of curiosity & if u can answer, what's the genocide you've researched?

The Uighur genocide, which is ongoing and evolving. My original research is quite limited; I mainly help others, for example by finding and translating official Chinese sources for journalists who don't speak Chinese. I also have access to several large datasets that are otherwise not easily accessible to people (they are technically openly available, but sorting through them is complicated), and I make sure that when I come across a relevant document in my own research, I forward it to someone working on the topic.

If there's any interest, I'd be happy to talk more about what is going on in the Uighur homeland (most of which is located in what is now called the Xinjiang Autonomous Region) and why I think the genocide label is valid (though I personally don't care if others choose not to use it and prefer to talk about 'crimes against humanity' instead). I can also talk a little bit about the difficulties that come with documenting a genocide in closed states where access to information is highly controlled, and how people go about collecting proof anyway.

This is not directly related to genocidal acts, but if you want to get a sense of the overall political climate in the Uighur region, I recommend watching this report (link leads to a Weibo/"Chinese Twitter" post where the video is embedded) put out by China's official international broadcaster CGTN. I find it useful because it is an official source that is unintentionally revealing. The video is 10 minutes long, in English, and chronicles how the Chinese government dealt with 'mistakes' in school textbooks used in the Uighur region - basically the inclusion of stories that featured Uighur heroes and were labeled 'religious extremism' and 'separatism' (they're not - they're folklore stories). It gives you a good idea what people go to jail for, and what the sentences are.

Please note that the video includes forced confessions, i.e. footage of the 'criminals' confessing their 'crimes' and denouncing themselves in front of the camera so that that Chinese state TV can show proof of their 'guilt.' This is a common practice in China. People usually do so under duress, in some cases while drugged, or to have their sentences reduced (in one of the cases in this video, this may have potentially meant having a death sentence converted into a suspended death sentence, i.e. life in prison). I usually recommend people not watch these 'confessions' since they are recorded without any meaningful consent, but in this case, I would urge folks to watch the 'confession' and forced self-denunciation of Alimjan Memtimin (which is shown in several parts throughout the video, but the part at the 8:10 minute mark is particularly disturbing to me) because it perfectly encapsulates the extremely disturbing nature of these political prosecutions and the overall political climate.

hi everyone! i’m not actually new, but i’m happy to introduce this gal that is! this is carly, bejoomi and benayoung’s mun with the final addition to my wannabe trinity!! hana is, thankfully, quite different from both joomi and nayoung, so she should be fun. she’s about as shy as they get, but a very skilled ballerina and an absolute sweetheart. and a useless lesbian. she just floats around between being a dance major, additional dance lessons, and two jobs as a librarian and a florist! she doesn’t have any real authority at either of those jobs, though. she really just helps out. her cute lil profile is here, and her more detailed about is here, but i’ll ramble about her and put some plot ideas under the cut. of course, please like this if you’d like to plot with her, and i’ll slide into your dms (probably on joomi’s account so i can stay organized.) ok let’s go!

hana is an ‘03 liner and a pisces! dreamy dreamy gal

she was born in tokyo japan to a (retired) professional ballerina and translator (who translated for some pretty important people sometimes)

her mom retired as a ballerina due to heart complications. they were afraid giving birth would be too trying on her body, so they adopted their first kid (hana’s brother) and then hana was an accident

obviously her mom went through with giving birth to her but she unfortunately passed away because of it

thankfully hana’s family didn’t resent her, and her dad instead saw her as the last remnants of his wife. which can sometimes be a problem tbh

she was put in ballet lessons asap to follow in her mother’s footsteps, and has been at ballet academies and dance lessons literally as long as she can remember

she was always way more interested in watching the girls dancing even when the other girls were freaking out about the potential to do dance duets with boys. gay ass

she didn’t Realize she was a lesbian until she got into online communities. she didn’t really have a ton of time and energy to socialize outside of ballet and school and was always very quiet so she had a much easier time making friends online

started in online ballet forums, got into kpop through girls there that liked it as well as some irl friends, eventually ended up on stan twitter and tumblr thanks to her really good english her dad taught her, considering he’s a translator

she also really got into poetry, and made a poetry blog, and she kinda figured out her sexuality by writing about it more than anything else. she also kinda kept her Poetry Presence separate from the rest of her online presence because u know, shy

she eventually fell Big in love with one of her kpoppie friends. this friend actually lived In korea and wanted to be a kpop idol so hana ended up daydreaming about moving to korea and debuting with her one day

she ended up so serious that she asked her dad if she could move to korea and enroll in sopa. she had a whole plan

they had a close family friend that lived in sk that agreed to house hana if she did move, and her dad never saw hana so passionate about anything in his life...so he let her go

he didn’t move with her due to work; he decided supporting his daughter’s dreams was more important than Being with his daughter, and sends her money regularly

when she arrived, things did not go how she hoped. the girl she loved had a whole Life outside of her and they did not fall in love, in fact, they didn’t spend nearly as much time together as hana wanted at all. and hana is not assertive whatsoever, so she just kinda let it happen

she mainly just tries to keep busy now because she’s lowkey heartbroken but doesn’t want to dwell on being sad. she’s also trying to figure out if she actually wants to be a kpop idol By Herself now or not. she’s figuring out that the dream was way more to be with her friend than it was to debut

she’s not really unhappy though! just. figuring stuff out.

PLOT IDEAS

hana has a youtube channel where she posts dance videos; mainly of choreo she learns from lessons, but some kpop dance covers too. this is an example of the stuff she does most often. it would be great to have people to collab with on her channel! contemporary dancers ideally. fans of the channel are great too. she would be so shy if anyone was her fan

onesided crushes? that kinda. seems like hana’s vibe. onesided crushes in either direction; boys having a crush on hana who is a lesbian, hana having crushes on girls that don’t return her feelings...

university friends? i don’t have where she goes to uni in mind rn to keep plotting open. she’s a dance major but will have other classes too obviously

dance friends! fellow dance majors, or dance students at the dance studio she takes additional lessons at

people that help her develop being an idol as her actual dream. people that are really passionate about kpop and becoming one themselves. she really admires people that have a lot of drive because she does not really

also, the plural "die Seen" is most commonly used for lakes, even though according to the dictionary it is apparently used for oceans as well but I haven't seen (hah) or heard it used that way

also 2.0, I only just realised that "sea" seems to be mostly (only) used as plural (a haven't read or heard "a sea" at least) so that would kinda mean that in German "die See" is mostly singular and in English plural and I just think that's interesting

hence why I probably picked Translation Studies as a module this semester lmao

also 3.0, I think Meer would mostly be translated to ocean and See to sea, and vice versa

I love love love idioms and stuff like

for example, in English you have "it's pouring buckets" which is pretty much the same as the German "es schüttet wie aus Eimern"

then we have stuff like the one I mentioned yesterday (?), "skeletons in your closet" vs "Leichen im Keller (bodies in the basement)", which have the same meaning and are similar, but not the same

another example: "bull in a china shop" and "Elefant im Porzellanladen (elephant in a porcellain/china shop)"

there are things like something I just thought of when outside, an idiom referring to when someone is complaining about rain and they arr told "du bist doch nicht aus Zucker (you're not made from sugar)" - even though I don't think there is an English equivalent, the reasoning behind it could still be understood: sugar dissolves in water, so someone doesn't need to be "scared" of the rain cause it won't hurt them

and lastly, there are idioms that are very cultural or historically influenced, or where most people probably neither know nor care why those exist. ones I can think of right now is, to tell someone that they are "schwer auf dem Holzweg" - in this case, "auf dem Holzweg sein" means that a person is off the track, or, of it's more as a threat/warning, that they don't know what's coming for them. also, when I look up "Holzweg" I get "logging-path" as a translation.

to my non-German speaking friends - can you make sense of these?

My Legal Battle with my Family and their Co-horts / Co-conspirators (125):

The attached image is of an email I anonymously received on October 7th, 2022 to my Gmail account. It is allegedly from a “Jesse Keller.” I know no Jesse Keller. The email address domain is America Online “aol.com.” The only person I personally know that has an AOL email address is my mother, Gloria Sumter. This is neither here nor there as anyone can create a fake email address with AOL or any other host / domain. However, I will subpoena this information from AOL as part of my civil hearing.

Another interesting fact is in the subject line, the anonymous person lists a phone number I no longer have, “4045531434.” I changed it a long time ago.

In the email this person says I am “No.1 on the list of hideous individuals due to [my] passion for wanking.” A few lines later this person says “You take more care of the websites with dirt than your safety on the net, you’d better do the opposite.” Then this person proceeds to attempt to extort money from me by demanding “1101 usd,” which means $1101.00, and to send this to a Litecoin account that has been tokenized with a string of characters. And that I must comply within fifty-two (52) hours and that this was the “only option to save [myself].” This is the first (1st) threat embedded in this email. The “only option to ‘save’ [myself].” Two sentences later there there is a second (2nd) threat embedded in this email. Simply the stalker states, “I will disclose your dirt, and in ur circle there will not be a single individual who will give u a hand, this will happen in 3 days, if I do not see the desired.”

So this person, by their own admittance, stalks me. Alledging that they know of my “wanking” habits. Wanking is some sort of slang for masturbating. To what “wanking habits” this person is referring, I do not know. Yes, I masturbate. Who doesn’t? But for this person to imply having some sort of personal knowledge of my private sexual life and/or me privately masturbating translates into this person having either directly or indirectly scripted some sort of sexual encounter or relationship with me for the purpose of revealing private sexual information to somehow trash my name or, as seems most likely here, use it to blackmail me (whether this private sexual information is true or not - most likely it is fabricated) into doing what they want, which in this instance is quite literally to take down my Tumblr blog, my Reddit blog, my Twitter page, my Wordpress blog which is under construction, my Blogger blog which is under construction, and any other blogs upon which I post the truth and evidence of the truth.

Well, as I showed in post #124 of this blog. My family and their cohorts know that threats stress me out and 100% literally cause me to have epileptic seizures. As any one single seizure can result in my death, this is an example of attempted murder. This has been their goal the entire time, to either bring about my suicide or cause my death by some means in which they would not appear to be the cause / aggressor / killer / murderer. This is further supported in this email by the fact that the stalker says, “this is the only option to ‘save’ [myself].” They know that threats cause me seizures and that the seizures can cause my death. It’s a numbers game. Sort of like if you exceed the speed limit frequently, eventually you’re going to be pulled over and ticketed. The same can be said about seizures. I could have one (1) seizure and die, or after several the same could happen. So the more seizures I have, the greater risk to my life. So further trying to stress me out and frighten me, this stalker wants to instill in me, an intense fear for my life. Additionally, this stalker threatening to reveal to the public or whomever they are asserting, my masturbation habits and that noone will help me and implying that no one will by my friend, this person in threatening me again which causes me intense, unending stress and fear. Sometimes I wonder how I am ever going to make it through this mess. My family has nearly unlimited resources available to them, whereas I have zero. I want to live, not die and I am very fearful they will bring about an early end to my life. I am scared on an almost continual basis. My family even attacks the friends I have made through social media and attempts to get people on Facebook and Instagram to stop following me.

I would like to add one last thing concerning this particular threat. It has to do with the timing of it all. I filed the return of service with the U.S. District Court for a Federal Diversity lawsuit I filed against my family and their cohorts on August 29th, 2022. One September 6th, 2022 I had a violent seizure while walking my dog, Raven. During this seizure, I broke my jaw and knocked out my teeth. I was rushed to first Piedmont Hospital then from there to Grady Hospital as they were the only place equiped with the Trauma Surgeon my injuries required. This seizure was very bad and could have very easily resulted in my death. After being released from the hospital I went home and less than four (4) weeks later I receive the anonymous email threat attached to this post. Obviously, my family and their cohorts were attempting to bring about my death. After succeeding in causing me such a violent and dangerous seizure that broke my jaw and knocked out my teeth - and with the seizures ultimately getting worse and more frequent - they felt it necessary and obtainable to kill me / cause my death via eliciting an epileptic seizure so they had someone anonymously threatent me via email. Hoping I would die before being able to litigate the federal lawsuit I had filed. I will post a copy of the lawsuit to this blog in a future post.

Haha, making a blog-post on my tumblr other than just reblogging all the good stuff? What is this? Well, anyway, I just wanted to share some thoughts and it felt like twitter is not the best for this.

Soooooooo... I started learning Japanese! And your first thought might be “oh yay, good for you!” or “you are crazy” and I agree with that. I feel crazy but at the same time I’m curious, scared, overwhelmed and lost sometimes, I’m also motivated and I feel all sorts of different emotions. It’s going okay so far, I started last weekend and by now I know all hiragana/katakana (with katakanas I still don’t know all the combinations but oh well...). Also, the added challenge is that I’m doing this with English resources and obviously I’m not a native speaker but I think I can manage it somehow (since the resources in Hungarian are just... kinda crappy and old school, sigh...).

I want to document this journey a little bit so I hopefully won’t lose my motivation or goals. Although documenting is a pain and so is learning something new. Because let me tell you... I’m the most curious person about things but if I lose interest or something else happens... I tend to procrastinate and not just for a shorter time but for longer (or I just lose interest forever). And I hate that part of myself and I have been trying hard since last year to change it. It’s going really slowly but hey! I continued crocheting that blanket I want to send to my buddy. Also, I read some books (even though they were “only” light novels) and continued some others hobbies. So I think that’s an improvement?

At the beginning of January an ad popped up on Facebook for an online course about Japanese and I was curious and it bugged me, I almost submitted the application but then I didn’t. I wanted to read about it a bit more, think about if it would be worth it and then a few days later I decided I’m gonna apply. Then I went to this site but turned out I waited too long and didn’t check properly the sign up deadline, I was two days late. :D I was a bit bummed and angry at myself for not checking the deadline properly but I thought I would sign up in March when a new study group starts up. I was fine with this idea for a week or so but then it started bugging me again... I read tofugu’s advice on learning Japanese but it seemed a bit scary even though it felt the most efficient way and I knew I wanted to learn it as efficiently as possible. So I started reading about what else is there and found a few posts like this from Bonyari Boy and then u/SuikaCider‘s post on reddit and their live google document. They all seemed to be talking about the tofugu way but the way they described it seemed more possible to do it than tofugu’s guide. What does this mean? Basically, ditch learning the kanas by writing them over and over again for at least a month, just learn them under a few days and later you can learn the writing as well. Then start learning the kanjis using mnemonics and at the same time/or after you know like a few hundred, start learning grammar. That’s it in a nutshell, it seems easy enough right? I mean, there are obviously a lot more going on than this but it kind of motivated me. I started looking at the offered options to learn the kanjis and decided for now to try out the WaniKani site and then learn about Anki in the meantime. Also, every single one of these documents suggested to set up a goal you would like to achieve so I have a few in my mind. I mean it’s obvious that 86 is a big part of it right now but even if in a few years I won’t be so invested I’m going to be forever a weeb and there will be new stuff that may have a manga/light novel not translated to English and I will want to know what it is about. Or just understand some of the youtuber’s I watch without subtitles and some live events aaand those Japanese artists I follow on twitter, I want to know what they are tweeting about (or the little comics they post, it’s so tiring to use Google Translate and it kept translating poor Fido’s little “Pi” to “Bitch” - that was hilarious, though). And yes, it will take time (please Szi don’t give up ) but I was thinking if I can keep learning it intensively every single day for at least an hour it may take only a year or two... and that is such a little part of my life. I guess it’s just creating a habit out of it and placing it in my routine. It’s not easy as one day is only 24 hours long and I have to work, do chores and other things but yeah, here I go!

About commenting on Twitter

I have said this several times before but since it looks like my acc is getting noticed by more people recently, I want to take this chance to talk about the manners when commenting on author’s tweets. The reason I have to bring it up again is because I have noticed that the recent tweets from Asagiri-sensei have been filled with English comments that do not show proper manners. I do understand that Japanese culture is different and the way things are done here might sounds very strange to you. But I think we should at least respect that as we are benefiting from all the wonderful things they have created. I am gonna write down here some of my advices, coming from my experiences in interacting with the fandoms here for the last few years. I hope it might help. It does not apply only to BSD but to other fandoms too.

- Be relevant. If you don’t understand what they say, then better don’t comment. Don’t you find it irritating when people reply to your post with totally unrelated contents? If you have the needs to thank them for their work, there are always tweets they made especially for that. Go to those tweets and express your thanks.

- Write in simple English. If u ask me I actually would say, it’s better not to tweet in any other language than Japanese, unless you know for sure the person speaks English and are comfortable answering them. Simple phrases in Japanese like Thank you, Good morning, Take care etc. can easily be googled anywhere. If you still want to write English no matter what, keep it simple. Don’t use web slangs or references that only the international fandom would understand. Use that kind of English that will still be correct even if you throw it to the worst machine translator.

- Try not to mention the contents of the newest chapters/works etc in your tweet. I know I’m not in a position to say this since I like spoilers and I post them here all the time. But that is exactly why I want to separate my Twitter and Tumblr account. Twitter give you more exposure and things u write would be easily seen by people even if they want it or not. And Japanese people generally respect that. They never really discuss about spoilers in public, let alone under the author’s tweets. So please restrain from doing that.

- Be nice to the author. I guess this is just common sense. But its better not to go to the author’s tweet and be like why you did this and that. Cruelly speaking, I don’t think your opinions matter to them at all. They are free to do whatever they want with their stories so better accept that and be nice. You can do whatever you want on your own account, but dont do that when interacting with official accounts.

One more thing, this is not really related but It has happened so many times in the BSD fandom before so I just want to say something. Please be careful with what you share. If you do translation, please check it carefully before posting. If you use machine translation, put a disclaimer (but I dont recommend this at all except for very formal style of writing). If you are sharing things with no clear sources, please get your facts checked. This fandom is really nice but it is still suffering from misinformation sometimes. I know we all make mistakes but if we can be a little bit more careful then the numbers and seriousness of those mistakes will definitely go down and the fandom will be able to benefit from it.

yes believe it or not that freaky ass literally not even human clown in fgo gets love, and love from who? me and like 3 other people

first off

ok and with that out of the way,

i’m not even familiar with their lore. Reason why i stopped caring about the lore behind faust and mephistopheles is that an interlude happens that shows that mephistopheles is just some homunculi made by some mage nobody named faust. and even then the interlude doesn’t talk about the lore behind the novel, its just you helping mephy kill faust

that being said though i would hope the developers expand on their origins more and potentially even release a “true” mephistopheles (a girl can dream)

So, they’re not even the real deal demon known as Mephistopheles in the first place, and i can hear u going “well that’s lame” and like, no, we just need to redirect our feelings from appreciating a demon to appreciating a homunculi who has a weird characterization in the fate universe

Design tangent:

Fgo was actually my first gacha, and so when I came across this servant I kinda instantly fell in love with their design, I love the colors used in their final ascension and overall appearance. The hat that has horns but they're not quite horns, theyre these weird colorful pointy twisty things, the large garish butterfly ornament on their chest (which isnt ugly at all and somehow works so well with their everything on them) is cool, the tights are so cool to look at, i mean look -- a checkered pattern with golden lining on the shorts portion, the tits out look like yes we get it youre insane, the gloves??? purple and also cool, plus theyve got this gradient thing going on? and the fingers have this line going through them, thats so cool. actually the only other servant that comes close to this in terms of “out there” colorful designs is probably final ascension kama and qsh ( i love them both). Also, mephy has this scissor weapon?? thats so cool lol i dont see any other servant wielding giant scissors (for the love of god give mephy an animation update i need to see them use the scissors while doing flips) and they also have this bomb obsession going on? cant relate, but the bombs designs are so so cool i mean its a fucking centipede -- no idea if centipedes are a thing in the original faust but thats something Ill have to look up at some point. ALSO mephy is wearing heels oh my god anytime people wear heels is an automatic win. No clue whats going on with the hair but its kinda cute (dont question me on that) and it has curls and the hair colors are cool i mean its like a lavender thing with darker purple highlights? i love colorful things and i love people with wacky personalities so. Oh my god their tail how could i forget that its so cute and dumb i almost forgot it was there, like what is that even a whip? i dont.. but its got these little purple tips to them that are kinda cute/cool but more cool because tails are fucking up there alongside heels in terms of cool stuff on characters. and of course their fluffly cape -- again no idea what the designers were going for i mean look its a mess of a design i have no fucking idea what any of it means and i hope they explain it someday because that hair and the butterfly and the tail and the hat and the fluffy garb and a bomb obsession?? and this got the go ahead - yeah lets add that to the game like what

anyways this is me going off all about why i like their design! but we haven’t even touched the nitty gritty of it all. their personality! what personality you may ask? havent they always been some weirdo laughing a lot and saying dumb shit all the time? well yes and no

Characterization:

True to their dumb little clown design mephy also acts like one.

Some servants bond 1 lines are like “fuck off” and some actually talk to you, nah this bastard mephistopheles’ just laughing. and for the second bond line it seems to imply theyre fuckin with you more (showing up and dissapearing and saying ‘afterimage’) so thats nice that theyre actually making some effort to mess with you in a way? some servants take a long time to actually interact with you so this shows theyre not afraid of interacting with you and thats just at bond 2. and of course the third bond line implies they were probably trying to betray you, its stated in more than 1 place that mephistopheles (actually isnt this a caster class thing?) will betray you or attempt to do so. So the third bond line seems to imply that their attempts have been stopped by you and that’s what they say after some failed attempts. So after stopping this freak from doing some shit their next bond line is actually doing a confession! a jester being honest who couldve seen that one coming but theyre 100% not lying, they really arent a demon but a homunculi made by faust

speaking of faust we’re going to backtrack a little into their interlude that i brought up at the start of this post, its one of those dream interludes and it starts with mephy asking you to help him plant bombs for their eventual reuinion/showdown with faust -- in the meantime faust keeps sending golems in an attempt to kill both you and mephy

When you track faust down, it’s shown that faust was your typical mage, inhumane and uncaring. It’s also pointed out that this faust killed innocents, but this typical mage behavior is boring to mephy, and they say that boring typical behavior is why they wanted to kill them

so i really cant blame mephistopheles for being the way they are, being raised by this type of guy, even if mephy was always messed up and wacky from the beginning its no reason for faust to attempt to kill him.

Mephistopheles also shows up in salem, cu alter’s interlude, and of course the knk crossover event, and some other things im most likely forgetting but those 3 are ones that i find notable

anytime they show up theyre actually helpful, in salem mephy points out that the nature of the being responsible for the salem epic of remnant is something alien rather than a typical foreign god, mephy also tells you that time is also being sped up and in their weird way they try to cheer you up by spouting some nonsense at the beginning (guda needed some kind of distraction from the grim events that had just transpired at that point in the story), i cant quite remember what mephy did in the knk event but they were a part of your group and were helpful the whole time, actually @/zeravmeta does an amazing analysis of their role in the knk event as well as some extra character analysis here

mephistopheles is kinda cryptic in a weird way though,

like overall i mean theyre a jester homunculi in appearance so yeah its to be expected but come on i love morally gray characters, despite their supposed betrayal hints scattered around here and there

they have this one line that always gets to me

and this line is said with a completely serious face too

the rare serious mephistopheles face! its kinda grim to see that line, no laughs, no nothing, their voice is kinda serious and monotone too. of course this could be just to get you to lower your guard but its still kinda out there that they have this rarely used portrait and that line, so i like to take it as being said to you when youre by yourself and with sincerity

and at least sei (with her wacky outfit and all lol) seems to get along with mephy and thinks theyre nice woohoo

so at the end of the day you have this guy that laughs a lot and gives mixed signals

and they fuck with you

and will most likely try to kill you more than once but hey thats just another tuesday at chaldea

Before I finish last thing I want to point out is this snippet from the fgo source material book which provides more information on servants, and this specific translated bit under mephistopheles

Honestly what I just said is all I know. I've not been keeping a record because I'm. frankly, not an investigative journalist; hate twitter; and avoid IG.

From what I've gathered, when it comes across my feed other ways: There's a lot of chaos of things being assumed, and inferred, and filtered, and translated from the Thai and no one in NM's production is going public about any of it because THEY CAN'T. But they couldn't even if politics weren't involved, because GMMTV is already iron fisted about their talent exposure.

Maybe it is safe. Maybe officials have already viewed and approved the whole series. Maybe this is all for publicity. Maybe we are overly worried from the outside looking in because we have no idea what it's actually like to live there. Certainly the ruling party has other concerns right now.

This is the internet, everything is wild speculation.

if ya just want an actual summary and not that MESS:

Technoblade starts the stream in his house. the first thing he does is put another piece of fanart in his house, this one by snumkt on twitter. he goes to l’manburg, where he sneaks around very sneakily (/s) and replaces anti-techno propaganda with pro-techno fanart, stating that “If they take it down, it’s ‘cause they hate fanartists.” (00:09:18).

While placing posters, Techno checks in on his hound army, and reveals that he thinks someone had been in the area, because a wolf teleported to him while he was home. He thinks someone placed water, the dog stood up, and then teleported. (00:18:25)

After breeding the dogs, Techno reads donations and one of the questions is about the SBI family dynamics. Here’s what he says at 00:20:55

He then meets up with Philza, who is being escorted by Tubbo. Techno goes to Philzas house, and hides in his new basement. He joins their VC and finds Phil, Wilbur, Tommy, and Tubbo. talking about birthdays. Tubbo goes to the basement and sees Technos invis particles, hits him, and he is revealed. Techno kills tubbo, and declares it canon as a joke.

He goes back outside, deafened on Discord, and puts down more propaganda. Philza joins his call, and they meet up to try and find Technos stolen items. They don’t find the barrel, but they do find a hidden room under the podium. Techno puts a piece of propaganda in the room. (00:43:30)

While Phil is killing an enderman, Ranboo finds them, and is killed by Techno. (00:46:25)

Techno takes Phil to see his Hound Army, but they’re stopped by Tubbo. Techno tries to pretend to be Ranboo, but Ranboo goes up to them, so his cover is blown. Techno’s chased to the portal. Phil and Techno meet again in the Nether, and they go back to the house.

At the house, Phil and Techno talk about the SBI characters, the sellout timer goes off, and then they go downstairs to cure a zombie villager. While it’s curing, Techno gathers books to make a new bow, with Power V, Punch II, Unbreaking III, Flame, and Mending.

Philza reveals that Ranboo is coming over to give Phil a present. Techno seems excited at this, mostly at the fact that Ranboo can be his new bows test subject.

Before Ranboo arrives, the villager is cured, and they find out it is a nitwit, meaning it can’t trade or get a job. Techno and Phil start working on a tunnel to bring the villager to a lava pool, so the other villagers won’t gossip and raise their prices.

Ranboo joins the call at 01:15:35, right before they’re going to bring the villager to the lava pool. He gifts Techno and Phil four Netherite ingots.

After struggling to get the villager to the right height, Techno forces Ranboo to boat the villager into the lava. Ranboo escapes by throwing a pearl, and the villager dies.

Ranboo, Techno, and Phil talk about duping Netherite, and the current plot, and then Techno finds a zombie baby villager. It’s caught in a boat, and Techno nametags it ‘Orphan.’ They talk about the cobblestone tower, Philzas’ death to a baby zombie, and how if you don’t see a child's parents, you should assume that they are an orphan and attack them.

Techno talks to Jack Manifold through chat about his axe. Techno, Philza, and Ranboo go around and look for zombie villagers. Techno finds an igloo, with two villagers. Techno was going to try and turn them into zombie villagers, but decides to not when he finds out that theres a 0% chance of that happening on Easy mode.

They all go back to Orphan, and bully it when they find out it still hasn’t grown up. Techno and Ranboo make a joke about how it’s traumatized, so it’ll be funny and can be come a minecraft youtuber. please get some help. (01:48:15)

After Orphan grows up, Techno trades and gets the Bottle of Enchanting trade for one emerald. They all joke about Techno owning an orphanage at 01:51:35.

Phil, Techno, and Ranboo decide go to the Hound Army, but Techno remembers that Ranboo is part of L’manburg, and tries to kill him (with his new bow) when they enter the nether. He doesn’t succeed, and he continues fighting until he drinks and invis pot on the Prime Path. Techno and Phil meet up in the Bee Dome, where Ranboo finds them. Techno tries to kill him, but runs out of arrows.

After reading donations, Techno, Ranboo, and Phil are back together at the Bee Dome, and they decide to team up in case someone finds them. They go outside of the Dome, and chase Jack Manifold out of his own country.

Manifold joins the VC, and they try to blame Punz on his attempted murder. After Manifold says “i feel there has been an attempt on my life,” Techno says that that’s how he greets people in his country.

Manifold asks if they want to help him get revenge on Punz, and Techno agrees. They gather more people, and by the time they get to Punz’s tower, their party is Manifold, Techno, Phil, Ranboo, Fundy, and Antfrost. Punz is in the Nether, so they wait until he gets back.

Ranboo and Techno have a whisper conversation:

Ranboo: are you just going to jump fundy

Techno: no im gonna make jack 1v1 LMAO

Ranboo: good plan

While Fundy is taking a screenshot of Techno for his thumbnail, Philza attacks Fundy with a crossbow and his sword. He claims it was because he was getting bored.

In the same spirit, Techno asks if they could kill Manifold to pass the time. The mob, which now includes Fundy, chases Manifold. He runs to the Holy Land, and the mob boos him. Techno tells Antfrost to kill Manifold, and that the mob won’t tell that he was killed in the Holy Land. Manifold hands Antfrost his sword.

While Antfrost debates killing Manifold or not, the mob chants ‘peer pressure!’ at him. Techno quickly realizes that Antfrost isn’t in the VC, and is extremely confused. The sword gets handed to Fundy, who gets into a battle with Manifold. Philza tells Fundy that he’s forgiven, if he can kill Manifold. The battle calms, and neither of the contestants die.

Techno convinces the mob to go to the pit trap, and tries to lure someone onto the trapped blocks using rotten flesh. Fundy takes the bait, but moves out of the way before the button is pressed. Antfrost sneaks up behind him and punches him into the pit. Fundy survives the fall, but is shot by Manifold to death.

During the commotion, Punz makes his way back to his house, and the mob moves towards him to end his life. Manifold says that he’s going to kill Punz, and Techno says that the mob’ll have his back. He tells the mob to not have Manifold’s back.

at 02:17:00, Punz joins the call, and is confused as to why Manifold wants to kill him. Manifold explains that Punz tried to kill him, siting his source as Technoblade.

also, 2:17:15 technoswear!

Techno encourages Punz, saying “Punz, he actually dropped his sword by accident and now I have it, so it’d be really easy to beat him up,” and “he also just killed in the holy land, so you have a sort of...religious motivation to take him out.”

Punz tries to fight Manifold without armor (Manifold is wearing a full enchanted set of armor, with a Netherite chestplate and everything else Diamond), which fails miserably, and Manifold is killed.

Techno decides to fight Manifold with his goons (the mob) for the audience retention, and Manifold’s quickly killed. The final hit was from CaptainPuffy. Ponk rushes in and grabs some of Manifold’s items. Puffy takes the rest.

Manifold complains about getting bullied, so Techno gives him his sword back and tells him to avenge himself. While looking for Ponk (or Punz? this is kinda unclear), Punz swoops in and kills Manifold in two hits.

Manifold finds Ponk and chases after him, trying to kill him. The mob follows, and Ranboo kills Ponk with thorns. Manifold takes Ponks stuff.

Right after respawning, Ponk was blown up by a creeper, and Techno claimed both as canon.

The mini fights continue, and Manifold is killed by Punz.

Ranboo changes the ‘Days since last war crime’ sign to 0.

Phil tells Techno that he’s going back to the base, and the L’manburgians question him as to what base he’s talking about. Phil tells Fundy that he ripped off his ankle shackles and left. While they talk, Techno starts running back to the base, and Ranboo whispers “lets run back” to him. Ranboo follows Techno, but quickly looses him.

Phil and Techno join a separate VC together and they go back to the base.

At 02:29:15, Phil says “I trust you” to Techno and I am going to cry.

Right before getting to the base, Phil drinks some honey, and Techno says “that’s the only thing we have honey for, now that we’ve uh...uh I guess you don’t know about that.” He’s referring to the Vault, I think, because the redstone required honey to work properly.

Philza responds, “the honey- wait, what did you use the honey for?”

“uhhh....food.” Techno, for some reason, doesn’t want to show Phil the vault.

Ranboo whispers to Techno: “My alliance isnt with lmanburg, its with the people who help me. phil helped me.”

out loud, Techno laughs about it with phil, saying, “well, I’ve stabbed him like twelve times this week, so, I [laughs] I don’t know if that entirely qualifies here.”

Techno messages Ranboo back with “new phone who this”

Ranboo replies, “no one,” and then, “:)”

Going back to the honey talk, Philza asked if Techno had been hiding anything diabolical from him, and Techno asks if he would do such a thing. Philza guesses several things he could use honey for, such as a flying machine, TNT dupers, and a door.

Techno takes him to the vault. 02:32:00. i LOVE peoples reactions to the vault, it’s always so good. Philza responds with a surprised ‘HOLY SHIT’ and some laughing. Techno also confirms my math of 55 withers.

02:34:10 “i’ve seen this government, on the server, and everything to do with government is just bad. I’ve watched it completely destroy and tear down people’s wills and change people, I’ve seen it change the nicest people into complete and utter tyrants, so...I think it’s about time--”

so once upon time there was an italian who hated children and loved reylo. she also hung out in the arthuriana tag and got a bunch of asks about it. so one day some poor anon comes in and asks if she has any trans headcanons for arthurian characters, and she, instead of being a normal person and saying like, no, she goes off about how trans characters in fanfic is forced representation and she cant talk about trans people bc surgery is triggering for her.

found this in the archives lol. so i rbd politely explaining that while it was fine to not have trans hcs, her justifications for it were a little offensive.

hey i dont want to start discourse or anything but i see ur asks in the tag a lot and i wanted to politely address this. firstly obviously no one is under any obligation to hc things, and headcanons and fandom is not activism. if you’d just said “no, not really” it would b fine. i mean, cringe of u, but fine. but u make a couple of points here i want to look at a bit critically. then there is “I don’t like when headcanons are pushed up as ~representation, especially when… Ehm, it’s just fandom stuff?” i dont want to misinterpret you or put words in your mouth, but the implication that theres no need for trans rep in fandom and dismissal of that is a very cis take. My initial read of your intention there was a complaint of ‘why should something like fandom spaces, which are for fun and not serious, be filled with non fun serious (bad) trans stuff that i have to see when im trying to enjoy myself.’ now that could be incorrect, you were a bit vague here. if that is what you meant, i think you maybe should examine why you feel that way. if it isnt, im unclear on what exactly youre trying to say here. the idea that trans hcs are performative wokeness and “representation” in fandom is completely ignoring the actual trans people making and wanting them. there is so vanishingly little representation of trans people in actual media and even less thats good, and i think implying trans hcs are being pushed on people and fandom for, ~representation (a world of meaning in the ~ i shant speculate on) is very dismissive and ignorant of that fact. honestly the main thing im troubled by is the idea that trans bodies are inherently disgusting and triggering, which is an incredibly harmful and hurtful idea, and since you yourself acknowledge that trans people and hcs dont predicate surgery i question why you bring it up, except as a justification for disconfort rooted in unexamined prejudice. im not accusing you of being a terf or anything, i dont believe you meant harm by this or have bad intentions, and im definitely not saying anyone has to hc anything. it was the uncomfronted insidiousness of your justification that concerned me. this is not a personal attack at all, you just have a lot of influence in this fandom space and i wanted to make you aware of some of the surely accidentally harmful things ur saying.
