Its even a bigger surprise to get Lilith to become so attached to you

She loves how attentive you are

You actually take interest in subjects that she learns and reads about

She teaches you all sorts of things and of course notes are a must

She considered you her child after a month of knowing you

Oh you're going somewhere? Well not without Lilith

It takes a lot to convince her to stay put and when she says she'll stay, she's actually lurking spying on you

If someone even lays one harmful hand on you she is out and ready to fight

You somehow get Lilith to lighten up and agree to more things that she really wouldn't

When Lilith finds you sad she is immediately there with a bunch of blankets and ice cream

Lilith is actually a really good person to gossip too and she always makes it funny

Finding her sad is a really rare thing though

She is used to dealing with her emotions on her own and that hasn't changed

But on the rare occasions where she shows you some vulnerability you give her all the comfort you can

Hugs and cuddles as well as words of affirmation and she is so grateful for you

Eda is glad that you're helping Lilith out of her stiff shell a bit and showing more emotion than she used too

Hooty becomes your closest friend as well as King but Hooty more because Lilith drags you to their conversations when she visits The Owl House

I'd like to write a little something something sakuyama but I cannot for the life of me decide which relationship scenario is best for them. Keeping relationship secret from claw? Koyama not caring to talk abt it but Sakurai HATES him to bc he doesn't mix personal with professional life? Actually hooking up after Claw disbanded? Been an item for several years and nobody knew?? I think every idea got its potential but I can't decide. What's your personal hc for em?

Right? There's so many possibilities--but that's the fun part about hc stuff like this, you don't necessarily have to stick to one idea for everything you make! We don't get much about the Scars' histories with the organization and each other prior to Season 1, plus the unknown happenings between seasons. It's always very fun to see the different interpretations people have and how they compare/contrast.

In regards to my own thoughts, I actually had been typing up a draft on ideas for the way their relationship develops over the course of the series so. Perfect timing. Hope you find these helpful!

Claw Era: Rivalry+mutual attraction turns into what's meant to be a solely physical relationship to let off steam. Despite their best efforts, something akin to affection starts to develop deep down--expressed subtly, of course(like this). Koyama doesn't give a damn about secrecy but Sakurai makes him keep quiet, more so out of his own pride than any fear of repercussions. For Claw, the vibe I got is that HQ doesn't care about the Scars as long as they do their jobs(getting each other injured would affect) so even if the matter somehow reached them they don't really care. Some of the other Scars know something's up but, well, those two are a dangerous pair--as long as they aren't killing each other, best not get involved.

Post-Fall of 7th Division: Sakurai still insists on getting involved in Koyama’s business even though he really has no obligation to with the organization gone. To his own denial and both of their irritation, Sakurai's grown to care about what happens to him. It’s because of his influence that Koyama joins the other former Scars despite 1. not being there for Reigen’s speech and 2. Being a stubborn asshole. On Koyama's end, Sakurai’s become a pretty big weakness of his. He still doesn't trust the others, doesn't trust this weird Reigen guy they've called in who's apparently a big deal, but he trusts Sakurai. Also if he behaves he gets to make out with a hot guy, so. Win.

Post-WD Arc: Sakurai lets Koyama live with him under the convenient excuse of sharing rent and giving a fellow ex-Scar some help while he finds work--but he needs Koyama just as much as Koyama needs him. With Claw gone there's no way back, and having someone at his side while he faces rejoining society is a mortifying yet undeniable comfort. For Koyama, he has a lot of doubt about the whole 'becoming a commoner' thing and starts off feeling aimless, but Sakurai ends up give him direction. Granted, that often comes in the form of his own concerns about Koyama's capacity for change inciting this weird kind of...positive spite. He wants to prove Sakurai wrong, prove himself to him, it's like their former rivalry but more constructive. This leads into them working with each other again, and they learn to settle into a more domestic life.

As a sort-of aside, I really like the idea of their relationship being built upon things unsaid—it’s not a conventional romance by any means. They bicker like an old married couple, are attached at the hip, clearly are the most important thing in the world to each other, but then look at you like you’ve got two heads if you ask if they’re dating.

God I don’t even know when they’d get around to bringing out the L word. Sakurai has so many hangups about his capacity to love/be loved from his upbringing—hearing something so overt might make him panic and try to withdraw if it isn’t done carefully. And Koyama, for all his growth at this point, still isn’t really in touch with his emotions enough that he’d be able to have those sort of deeper conversations easily. But it doesn’t mean the emotions aren’t there, you know? And in the end they’re happy with how they are, with taking anything the other is willing to give.

Hello, yes, sorry I asked for questions about my blorbos and then didn't answer for like a week, I was busy playing TOTK until I forgot my own name and doing other stuff, but thank you so much!!

My favorite thing about shockop is this extremely weird relationship dynamic they have going. Like, Orion is driven by his desire to do good and help people, but has realized that what he understood was good isn't necessarily, so now he's cashing on Shockwave to show him the way, and Shockwave is so hot and talks the talk so good, Orion has unshakeable faith in him.

Like, Shockwave modified his body without asking (and I hc Cybertronians have a weak sense of bodily autonomy but still), keeps a bunch of stuff to himself and is generally very sketchy, but Orion is 100% behind of whatever he says. Hell, Orion doesn't want to be Prime, he never talks about it, we only know he knows that's what Shockwave wants bc Roller bring it up, and Orion is seemingly okay with ruling the fucking planet if that's what Shockwave thinks is best.

But that's the things, despite having him on a leash, Shockwave's plan involved making Orion Supreme Ruler because he thinks Orion could use that power wisely. And Orion is actually capable of imposing his will on Shockwave, which he only does to get Shockwave to stay put during Shadowplay for his own sake, which is SUCH an OP thing to do.

There is a great deal of mutual idolization going on. They are people will similar morals which may not be all that great. There's something very sinester underneath it all despite the fact that they genuinely meant good and genuinely care for each other. Tho a part of that caring is caring about the good they can do for Cybertron rather than for each other as people.

Not that they don't care for each other as people, they're obsessed with each other, it's just kind of a loop. But yeah, Shockwave is so obsessed with OP that even after 4 million years of Shadowplay and 12 million years of going insane, he still wants Optimus to join him and will go out of his way to try to make him see his point even if that's of no benefit to his plans.

God, JRo introduced this weirdly ambiguous sketchy relationship and then Barber doubled down on that and I owe them my life. Great work, guys! I'm not really interested is pure fluffly wholesome shockop, these guys are insane.

I suppose that's not a headcanon so much as a reading, but uh, I'm not good which such open questions. Anyway, a more straightforward headcanon is about this scene

This would be their first time meeting after Shockwave joins the Cons and after the flashbacks of exRID #17. The reason the dialogue is so impersonal here is ofc, because Autocracy was written before Shadowplay and so before the mysterious Senator was established to be Shockwave, But my headcanon of what's going on is that the last time Orion tried to talk to Shockwave he tries to appeal to who he was and their relationship and got nothing. So he decided to try the opposite and treat Shockwave like a random Decepticons thinking that his Shockwave was so vain he would hate Orion acting like he's nobody to him and that would surely get a reaction. At least something like "This isn't the first time I've saved your life" but he still got nothing :(

Ooh speaking of Mystogan-would Natsu/Mystogan hcs be okay? (Genuinely Natsu's smile at the end of their little fake fight is my favourite of the series)

Oh that is rough. Do you know how rough that is? Natsu's literally asleep every time Mystogan returns to the guild 'cause he can't resist the magic field. Then Mystogan got trapped in Edolas and had to leave Natsu and Fairy Tail forever. We essentially have to spruce up and make adjustments to the background of both for this to work.

Mystogan's story of being saved as a child by an Exceed essentially serves as the inverse of Natsu's story, where he was a child who raised an Exceed. Mystogan has made note of this before.

Mystogan, as it turns out, is only the most recent S-Class rank-up within Fairy Tail, and Natsu was around to watch all but Gildarts actually attain it. Much like every member of the guild Natsu knows to be stronger than himself, he has habitually tried to fight Mystogan, but Mystogan won't even entertain it, just letting Natsu phase through his body until he has somewhere to go.

Encountering Mystogan in the wild is rather difficult, but it's the only way to actually see him and talk to him without him knocking out everybody in the guild just to avoid exactly that. It was the sort of adventure Natsu took up, and one that took untypical brains on his part, figuring out that Mystogan exclusively took jobs that were far away and predicting where he'd go and how to catch him on the way back.

Natsu eventually starts obsessing over Mystogan, first out of a belief that someone with that much traveling experience might know where to find a dragon, and then out of simple frustration of not knowing anything about him, and he wants to know, y'know?

Then Lucy joined the guild, and found out about Mystogan's weird secretive ass, and did what she does best: visualize, conceptualize, fantasize. Natsu noticeably expressed irritation when she pored over the concept of Mystogan as some kind of mysterious Phantom of the Opera-esque specter who could be convinced to fall for a lively young maiden.

Natsu being Natsu, he did not realize this reaction was jealousy and/or possessiveness.

Natsu's demand one day in Magnolia to be taken on a mission with Mystogan ends up being misinterpreted as a request for a date, which Mystogan then politely shuts down, leaving Natsu embarrassed and bi-curious.

What if I said Mystogan gave Natsu his first kiss? What then? What if I said that Natsu ducked out of some big Valentine's Day event that Magnolia holds 'cause he noticed Mystogan wasn't there, and tracked him down 'cause he thought the guy might be feeling left out or lonely? What if I said Mystogan responded to this by telling Natsu to shut his eyes, tight, so tight that if he accidentally opened them he'd die, and then kissed him? Huh? Whatcha gonna do about it?

Oh, that departure scene at the end of the Edolas arc becomes so much harsher if they were involved with one another beforehand. It's one thing to say goodbye forever to a friend you don't really know that well, it's quite another to have your burgeoning mutual affection cut short and walled off by an entire freakin' dimension.

Mystogan never really gets over Natsu. They are almost the same age, after all, and many people forget how young Mystogan really is.

regarding the issue of using "old" too loosely and using it to make weird ageist comments, i understand your concern and i agree. although i haven't seen that much towards other people in the spn fandom but more towards actors like to wish a happy birthday to them i saw people saying "grandpa" and that was very odd (wasn't on tumblr though). also about your point about how busy adults have time for fandom, the way you wrote that was quite moving and very real.

regarding destiel you had a super insightful answer, which i was not expecting but was super appreciated i'm gonna try to reply slightly more in depth, sorry i don't remember the order but several points were made:

- 40 is absolutely canon dean age and in no way old and dying at any age below like 80 is quite young so yeah absolutely dean is not old

- regarding them getting old and being put in a heteronormative box, i agree on that so much and i hate those stereotypes with a passion too. i will say i get the appeal of the more white picket fence life, the suburban lifestyle or baby jack in art, it's downright delusional but it's the kind of dream that leads to seeing them happy which is heart-warming. thankfully there are wonderful exceptions that are realistic enough to want to indulge in them especially for AUs. i'm not immune to high quality fluff is all

Bubba has lived in the forest all his life, well at least that's what he remembers. He has always understood english but he has no idea who taught him. He knew what he could eat and what was poisonous but again, has no idea how learned it all. His earliest memory was; One day when Bubba was 9 as Bubba was walking through the forest he met a cat. This was fairly normal for him to see stray cats in the forest but this one was different. It was much kinder and less skittish. It had a collar on it and when he look at it, it read "Buttons" he flipped it around "If you see he don't worry she can get home on her own. " Buttons started to walk the other way but kept looking back at him as if she wanted him to follow her. So he did. He followed her through the forest until they saw a cabin. Bubba stayed behind a bush as he watched Buttons walk up and started scrated at the door and a woman opened the door. She bends down to pet the cat and she looks over and spots Bubba. At first she is in shock as she looks at the strange boy but then she smiles and says " It's okay you can come in too." Bubba walks over and the women says "Come on in buddy you look famished. "She goes on "I'm Ruby Bekkett, and this is my husband Ryan. Do you know where your parents are?" Bubba nods no. "Hm? Do you have parent's?" He replays no again. "Can you speak?" she asks "Mm..." replays Bubba "What's your name?" Ryan asks "Bub... ba-" "Bubba?" asks Ruby "Mhm!" Bubba replys. "Ryan." Ruby says "Yes dear?" He replied "We've always wanted a son haven't we? " "Yes" "But I could never have one..." "Mhm..." "What if we take in Bubba as our own? He needs someone to take care of him, we can't just throw him back into the forest alone! Who knows how long he has been out there?" Bubba moves in with the Bekketts and protects their house from dumb people who want to play around their property and vandalize it.

insists on styling you, and painting your nails and messing around with makeup if you let her

when you're out and you mention that you feel chilly, his jacket is on your shoulders faster than you can say "FUCK"

he may be a little dumb, but he tries his best and always makes sure you know how much he loves you

there is not a day that goes by where she doesn't remind you that you're the hottest person she's ever seen

if you mention being insecure, she won't really get it, but she will say something along the lines of "you don't have to worry about that, i only date hot people :)"

she's a total dumbass and you're going to have to pull her out of sticky situations

absolutely INSISTS you go shopping with her so she can show you all of these cute outfits, and maybe even pick something out for yourself

she doesn't care what kind of shopping it is, even if it's grocery shopping, SHE LOVES IT

sometimes jokes fly right over her head and you're going to have to explain to her what they mean and why they were funny, but it's honestly kind of cute how dense she can be
