Who are some of your favourite writers here?

That's a tough one because I love A LOT of them, but here are the ones that have stuck out to me.

Firstly I'll talk about some Wanda writers:

@mionemymind: one of the most compelling writers out there. I think I have a personal bias because we're similar and share similar interests (star wars lol), they've literally written a star wars based wanda fic!!! Apart from that they have really good one shots and stories. My personal favorite one shots have to be To Be Loved Is To Be Considered, The Actress & The Geek, and my personal favorite Blood Drive.

Aside from being a writer Mionemymind is also a really great person to the community and friends, and I can't tell you how many times I've smiled because of their reblogs. Truly awesome sauce.

@targaryenmarvel: From the moment her story "Fallin all in you" came onto my feed, I was desperately hooked. Absolutely one killer of a story and I can't wait for more. Really great writing and its just so perfect, that story meant everything to me at one point <3

@fortuositywritings: I love everything about this authors writing, but my most favorite thing about their style is the humor. It's so natural and well paced, it makes me smile without fail every time. They aren't as active, and I hope they're doing amazing but if I could let this author know that their series I Said No, and Love Bug changed my writing forever, I would do it in a heartbeat. They're one of the reasons I'm writing for Wanda here today.

@ziggyzolch: I discovered their fic on ao3 first and I've got to say it has me hooked. They deal with more serious topics on series and its one of my favorite parts about their style, honestly Your Prettiness is Seeping Through has got to be hands down one of my favorite series in 2024. Amazing work and great representation to those who need it.

And lastly @wandascosmic: I haven't seen much of her until today but her new series you belong with me has quickly become so special to me that I can't help but mention her. The humor between reader and Sam is amazing, but also the interactions between reader and Wanda have my heart aching so sweetly. I feel like a leech with how quickly I've sunk into this story, you belong with me is so sweetly written and I enjoy every second of it. Amazing work.

Now for the Jenna Ortega fandom, I think I have quite a list. There's so many amazing writers out there it's crazy, I'm always so well fed by both fandoms.

I've got to start out with the legendary @cobaltperun: I binged Lost, for 2 days straight. I was HOOKED. so hooked this story got in the way of my personal life because I couldn't stay away from my phone. I love the way you write Tara and gosh did the series kill and heal me. Aside from Lost, Woe out the storm is also such a sweet story. The whole concept Raiju is so interesting to me now and damn do I love a good slow burn. Im just so deeply impressed too by their rapid request process, and how much they get done, its moving.

Another legend @letorip: First I've just got to mention, his headcannons for characters are amazing and I'm CONSTANTLY having to restrain myself from asking for more because I would only continue. I highly recommend them, they're like stories in themselves. But aside from Headcannons, my personal favorite fic of his would have to be somethin' stupid, especially part 3. The whole series is a must read and gosh do I love the writing, its so beautifully described, every inch of it.

@ajortga: every fic of hers is a fucking BANGER. there's never a fic in which I'm left dissatisfied. I love it all, eat it all. When I find her on my feed, you know I'm immediately digging in. Everything is always so fluffy and nice and just makes a girl feel better yk? I completely recommend reading Cute and Absolute, My Girl, and Bear hugs. All super fluffy and heart warming fics, its crazy <333

@persevereforahappyending: This author stabs me, kills me, brings me back to life, and then stabs me again with angst but I go back every time. Specifically to their newest series A Legacies Secret which is. So. Fucking. Good. They really cooked with that one. Every Friday like clockwork I'm checking for notifications and I'm never disappointed. Their writing style just leaves a grip on you and the plots are so clever too, they're very unique and I love them. Luck Runs Out is another great series and damn I revisit that thing once every two weeks for a reminder on what true love really is.

And lastly but not least one of my newest favorite authors of all time is @honorarysimp: Uncanny Distortion was one of the best things I ever read, the plot, whilst held similarities to scream, had such a creative own twist to the authors imagination. I absolutely loved it, Tara and Detective made my day for weeks, and then came Rumor has it and now two others hold my heart, and break it, a lot. this series feels like its gonna hurt me. But overall Honorary simp is such an underrated writer and I really hope that more people will notice you out there and give you some more well deserved attention because God damn your fics are masterfully crafted and I don't even have the words to describe how much I adore them, all I can say is that I carved a space in my heart for Detective and Lucky.

that was longer than I intended but all of these authors came from the top of my head so they mean a lot to me. Tumblr is a way better place with all of these creative souls in it and honestly I wouldn't have gotten far without all this inspiration surrounding me ❤️

How long have you been into Star Wars? What brought you into it? I used to be REALLY into it years ago, though I have fallen out and perhaps I may join back in.

This one I hope you can answer, and fyi i mean NO ill judgement while asking. What makes you and others so interested in the kink of non-con? I find it hard to read when I know that others irl have trauma because of it. I know that you've clarified that it's just because it's all fiction and that you don't support it irl, but I guess I can't wrap myself around this topic? I'm sorry if this doesn't make sense, but I'd like to know and like I've said before, I am not having negative feelings to those who enjoy non-con! No one should shame you for what you like in fiction.

Omg so much to unpack and I'm so so so excited to do that. You don't ever have to apologize to me for long asks, I like them. Answers below the cut.

I'm going to fulfill your request in a different post. I have several ahead of yours but it's on my list and I'll get to it as I go down the line. I cannot wait!

Thank you for your kind words about my longfic (The Recruit and the Hunter for others to have context)! I don't get a lot of attention here for it, probably mostly because it's AO3 exclusive, but I'll be adding it to Tumblr at some point! It's definitely a favorite of mine and I've put a lot of work into it. I would say it's enemies to lovers adjacent? lol it's got a similar feel to it! On your note about having others involved in the community, I have noticed that the writings for X Reader are scarce! There are a few of us in the community that I think are keeping it going. I hope more people will get involved!

So as far as Star Wars goes, I watched it all the way through for the first time in 2015 just before The Force Awakens came out and when I watched back then I thought nothing of it. It was good but like, it was just a series to me, nothing more. Fast forward to September 2022, I had a dream about Kylo Ren. Yes, literally had a dream about him randomly and then I couldn't stop thinking about him. (True story) I googled if people even read fanfiction anymore, and turns out THEY DO and hey, 30 years old isn't too old to read/write fanfiction (no age is, you can be 90 writing ff, just have fun). When I found out they did, I rewatched the entire Star Wars movie series again through a new lens...information gathering for fic writing. The second I saw Kylo fucking Ren coming down the gangway in TFA for the first time through this new lens....I knew I was ill. Thus sparked my Star Wars obsession and the spiraling that lead me to write for all these other fandoms, Siege included (although I've been a Siege player on and off since it came out back in...was it 2015?).

This is a great question and gets a section all on its own...

On the subject of non-con in fanfiction (please don't read if this topic is sensitive to you):

To start, I can assume that other people think like me, but as I answer this, I ask that you keep in mind that I can't exactly speak for anyone OTHER than myself. I know what I like and what I'm comfortable with and that's all I can TRULY speak on so bear that in mind as you read through my response.

There are a couple reasons I think that I enjoy non-con. I'M SPEAKING PURELY FROM A FANTASY STANDPOINT GOING FORWARD, NOT A REALITY STANDPOINT. One reason is societal. I read somewhere that it's possible people gravitate to the subject of non-con in fanfiction (primarily women in ff spaces), due to societal factors. Meaning, that women who are from more sexually oppressive countries, America being one in some ways (being primarily a Christian/Catholic country and always teaching people, again with an emphasis on women since it's more "obvious", to save it for marriage), might be more inclined to enjoy "non-con". It's thought that this is due to the idea that it's attractive to think that someone finds us so desirable that they just couldn't help themselves. Further, it's the thought that the blame, again in some ways, is removed from the woman. She didn't go out acting promiscuous, this thing just happened to her, this sexual encounter. She couldn't stop it from happening and for some people the idea of feeling desired and not being able to control that it's happening and therefore it's "guilt free" is attractive. THIS IS AGAIN FOR FICTIONAL SPACES, not REALITY. No one wants this to happen to them in real life or to happen to someone else in real life period.

The other reason is that I just enjoy the purely feral and primal urge for a big man to conquer and take what he wants. Again, not something I'd want in real life or that I'd want someone to go through, but the thought is hot to me. Man want vageen, man take vageen, it's literally that barbaric and simple. I have many kinks in fanfiction that I DON'T have in real life, and non-con is certainly one of them for this reason.

Now as far as "finding it hard to read/write because others have IRL trauma because of it", while I understand completely where you're coming from, and I'm not trying to change your mind, I encourage you to think about some things. Firstly, you are perfectly valid to feel uncomfortable reading something, and that's why I said I'm not going to try and sway your opinion. Let's just understand that first and foremost. Secondly, there are other things we read about that have caused people IRL trauma that no one shakes a fist at, murder being a big one. Just because I enjoy reading/writing a fictional murder-mystery, does that mean I don't feel bad for real people who have been murdered or family members of victims? Not at all, I feel for them, but I'm still intrigued by the story I'm reading/writing. What I find interesting, (and this isn't a reflection on YOU, there's a lot of people who think this way) is that for some reason the subject of non-con is disturbing for some, but the loss of a life (murder) is fine? That is something that I still am trying to figure out! I hope this clears it up a little?

EDITED TO ADD: It also allows lots of people a safe space to indulge in a very unsafe and downright dangerous thing. We can "experience" something horrific without actually being in real danger and it allows us to enjoy it that way.

this untitled fic by @userpoe is a great example of the mastery tegan has of the star wars canon. they capture character SO WELL and talking to them about poe is always a joy because of the sheer DEPTH OF KNOWLEDGE they have. also their gifs are GORGEOUS and they're unreasonably talented at everything but that's besides the point

i have to include All Bets Are Off by @writefightandflightclub because i've read it like seventeen times and it gets better every time?? luna's ability to create tension is unparalleled and the dialogue in this is SO GOOD. oh my god they were roommates and captain of the team are others fics of theirs that i love for these same reasons

and i cannot get you out by @moonknightly is her brand of beautiful angst at it's finest. i love the way hadley can perfectly place you right in the moment, even if that moment isn't reader-driven. it's a skill i wish i had and reading her work is like a masterclass on writing.

i fell in love with clarke's writing because of the insane amount of creativity she possesses, and her Kinktober Day 16 - Hair fic is such a great example of that. every time I read @budcooper 's work, especially work that comes off a prompt list like this, im always in awe of how she can spin well-loved tropes into something new and fresh. Trying is another great example of exactly this.

A Very Lovely Woman by @acedameron is gorgeous and makes me YEARN SO HARD. it's beautifully written and angsty and smutty and i ADORE it. they've also written some stuff for William Tell (The Card Counter) so if you read for him, go check out their account!

Tinder Saves the Day by @maybege is a FANTASTIC fic that really surprised me?? I realized I was doom scrolling so I clicked on the first fic that popped up on my dash and it just so happened to be this masterpiece. I didn't know who this man was. I had no idea what fandom he was even for at the time. but was I entertained?? is the writing gorgeous?? did I immediately go read everything else on May’s masterlist for Paz?? absolutely yes.

A/N: This is my first Din/Star Wars fic :) Also, I am very bad at titles- but thanks to @tinyphantomsalad for the bounty’s name! Enjoy <3

It was supposed to be a quick-and-easy hunt. You and Din had made a stop on Nevarro to get a few maintenance checks on the Crest and to find an at least decently paying job to buy some supplies. The job that Greef had given you two seemed fairly simple - Go in, track down Drayden, get out. It seemed easy enough. The bounty, Nok Drayden, had minimal fighting experience, no guards, and you had his last known location. With the information you got, you left Grogu with Cara and headed off on the crest to the bounty’s location.

You should’ve known in your time with Din that things are never that easy. When you arrived at the cantina that Drayden was hiding in, it was nearly empty. That should’ve been your first warning sign. You saw him exiting through the back, but when you and Din chased him, all hell broke loose.

Drayden brought escorts. Armed escorts. It was a trap. He wanted Din’s beskar and the location of the child.

“Dammit! Din, we have to get out of here.” You continue to hide behind a pillar. “I know.” His modulated voice responds. More guards start to show up and the blaster fire gets thicker. “We need to move now Din, or we’re not gonna make it out of this place alive!” You shift your body to where only your arms were visible in front of the pillar so you could fire back. Din looks back towards you and nods.

You start your charge forward, taking out as many as you can. You attempt to keep them out of Din’s path as he gets to higher ground to take out the ones on the rooftops. You breathe heavily, taking out a few more of the guards that were on the ground. You see Din climbing down when you feel someone grab you from behind. “Kriff! MANDO!” You yell out as you’re put in a choke hold.

Din raced towards you, but Drayden made him stop in his tracks when he took out a knife and put it to your neck. “Not another step, Mandalorian, or I’ll slit the throat of your little friend here before I rip that pretty beskar off your corpse.” Din takes a step back. “Good, good. Now put your weapons on the ground, then maybe we can make a deal.” Din slowly bends down and places his blaster on the ground. “Now, you can give me the location of the child and destroy my puck, or you can watch your companion die by my hands. Sounds like a bargain, no?”

You looked right at Din’s visor and shook your head. I’ve had enough of this. You don’t give Din any time to consider negotiations with the bounty as you swing your leg around to hit the back of Drayden’s knees. You get a split second to fight back as you get yourself out of the chokehold. Unlucky for you, you had a strength disadvantage, so as you went in for the knockout hit, he was able to escape your grip and get a hit at your nose. You get knocked back a bit, your eyes watering. Drayden took this to his advantage and stabbed you in your side. You cry out in pain and double over. “CYAR’IKA!”

Din immediately takes action, taking out the bounty before he could do anymore damage to you. He rushes over and accesses the damage. “Well shit Din, I g-guess he got me good huh.” Your eyes start to droop as you get weaker from the blood loss. “No, no, cyar’ika you have to keep your eyes open for me. We need to get back to the ship.” Din tries to make his voice sound calm, but seeing you like this is making his heart drop into his stomach. This wasn’t supposed to happen. “‘m trying Din”

Din picks you up, being mindful of your wound, knowing you won’t be able to stand on your own much longer. You groan at your injury being moved around. “I know, cyare, I’m sorry. Come on, you have to stay awake.” You try to concentrate on Din’s voice as an attempt to stay awake for him. It was getting harder and harder for you to stay awake. “‘m sorry, Din. I’m t-too tired...” Din attempted to keep you from giving up because you were almost to the Crest, but as soon as you went limp in his arms, he ran as fast as his legs would take him.

When he finally got you set down, he was frantically searching the medical kit for what he needed. He rushes back to your side and silently apologizes to you. For letting you get hurt. For putting you in danger. For not trusting his instincts.

He cuts your shirt open on the side to get a better look at the wound. He gives you a bacta shot before starting to attend to your injury. He can’t lose you. Not like this. He can’t. He never told you he loved you. Never told you that he wanted to marry you someday. Start a family with you.

When he finished, he sits down beside you and holds your face in his gloved hand. He sits there in silence, just watching your chest move up and down, just to reassure himself that you’ll be ok. That you’re safe. “Cyar’ika I- I’m sorry I couldn’t protect you. I-I should’ve told you sooner how I...how I felt about you. I haven’t felt like this before and the fact that I almost lost you before I could tell you? I just can’t think of a world without you in it. Ni kar'tayl gar darasuum, ner kar’ta.” You let out a small pained chuckle as you put your hand atop his gloved one.

“You know, I never would’ve thought Mr. ‘Scary-intense-and-covered-in-beskar’ could be so soft.” Din let out a breath he didn’t know he was holding. “You’re awake...How much of that did you hear?” He asks you. “Mmmm just, maybe, all of it. I’m glad my limited Mando’a came in handy because I love you too. So kriffing much that it hurts. And I know it’s not the hole in my side, that bacta kicked in really fast.” Din chuckles. “I’m glad it did, cyare, I’m glad it did.”

Stars you must have been going mad. Being a nurse on the starkiller base wasn’t the most noble job but it was a job nonetheless. Your parents were both high ups working on the base since you were born. You had only known the coldness that came with being on a ship devoted to crushing the resistance. 

You didn’t have many friends at all, mostly keeping to yourself, trying your hardest to stay under the radar from the supreme leader himself. He was a bit older than you, but you had seen his rise into power. He was known to be nothing but stoic, a hard figure ready to crush anyone who got in his way. Though you had never really seen him. Just during the speeches had you gotten a glimpse of the of the obsidian mask. 

It was a normal day in the medical center, tending to those who were recovering from injuries and making sure the place was sanitary should there be an emergency. As you were making your way back to your station a flashing red alarm went off. That only meant one thing, A medical accident in the prestige quarters. You had only hoped it was General Hux or another higher up. 

Making your way through the corridor the pit in your stomach was growing. You dreaded the thought of having to tend to Kylo unnerved you. Maybe it was fear? Or maybe it was the feeling pooling in your trousers at the thought of being able to see what was under the mask. 

As you reached the quarters the other nurses were rushing to the biggest room at the end of the hall. Kylo’s room. He was pacing back and forth, you noticed the giant red gash on his face, but where your real attention went was to his bright eyes. You were stuck in place until you realized you could see them so clearly because he too was taking in your frame. No matter how tall you were he still towered over you. You instantly looked down as you entered the room. Setting your medical supplies down. 

“Master Ren can I ask you to take a seat please,” you let out meekly, sneaking a little glance to make sure he actually heard your voice. 

You heard the chair scrape and felt the gust of his long black cape brush past you. His large boot came into your vision you were still looking down. Maker everything about his was enormous. No. You shook yourself out of your thoughts. These weren’t appropriate thoughts to think about someone who could make sure you disappeared in an instant. 

Your hands shook as you took out the gauze and sanitary serum to apply on his gash. Looking up you noticed he was watching you intently, almost as if he was trying to read you. His eyes are dark, pupils dilated only showing a small ring of the coffee color irises. He was awfully calm, for what you had heard about him The man mad who ruined control panels with the powerful blazing red saber.

The silence in the room was deafening. His heavy breathes outsounded yours as you tried your best to keep your thoughts at bay. 

“Master Ren I’m going to c-clean this up. It might sting so I greatly apologize.” The only sign of recognition of your words was the short grunt he let out. Maker that shot right to your core. 

Even sitting he was barley shorther than you, his face at level with your chin. Taking a breath to steady yourself, one hand took his face while the other dabbed the cotton swab on the cut. He let out a hiss at the discomfort and you held that breath. 

“Continue,” he said lowly. 

You did your best to do your work, minimizing adding onto his discomfort when you felt a sharp pain in your head. You gasped at the feeling, trying to hide the face of shock in order to seem professional. Another while passed and you felt it again. This time accompanied by a voice. It was you. Your thoughts but not your own doing. 

You were frozen looking down into his challenging gaze. Your mind flooded with visions of you on your knees, spit dibbling down your chin. Another of you pressed against silk black sheets, the strange feeling of something large in your most private area. 

Your hand came up to grasp your head. “What are you doing to me?”

“I felt something deep inside you. These are strange thoughts to be having about your supreme leader. You just seem a little.. innocent.”

You felt the heat radiating off your cheeks. You were sputtering to let out an answer but nothing seemed to be able to come out. Behind this stoic demeanor there was something almost excited in him. Like he was fueled on seeing your humiliation.

He hummed as if pleased with your answer before he continued, “Now care to tell me why such an innocent thing is having these visions?” 

By this point he was standing. You were encompassed in his large frame. Looking down at you expecting an answer. 

You couldn’t speak. There was nothing you could say to save yourself or to to lessen the amount of embarrassment you felt. 

“Still no words.” His hand went and wrapped in your hair. He bent down with you, bringing you down until you were on your knees. “You’re a naive little slut who thinks she can take me.”

You mewled at his words and at the growing pressure from his hand pulling at your scalp. He pulled you closer to his face, sharing a breath as he stared speaking again. “I can ruin you. But you’d like that, wouldn’t you?”

You looked up at him with wide eyes, trying your best to nod within his grasp. You hissed as he let go of your hair. Yet you stayed on your knees the evergrowing feeling of wanting to please him blooming in your chest. 

“Good” he said lowly. He heard you thinking again. “Take off your uniform.” 

Your unsteady hands went down to the little plastic buttons on the top of your long tunic. Reaching down to pull it over your head. Next you kicked off your shoes in order get your pants down your legs. Once you were down to your undergarments you could feel him watching you like a hawk. Eyes scanning your body. 

“Get on the bed,” you walked the few feet to the large bed. Dark sheets like the ones in the vision, soft to the touch. He made his way over to you, standing in between in your parted legs. His hand cupping your breast was gentle, strange compared to the harshness of his words. 

“You know I can take what I want.” you gulped. “You’d let me fill all your holes with my seed. Taking you like the needy whore you are.” His hands traveled down to your thin panties. Pairing : Bucky x Plus Size Reader ; Avengers x Plus Size Reader

A/N : I’m sorry it took so long. Writer’s block is a bitch :/ Hope you will still like it :) 

“Y/N? Y/N stay here, alright Sweety. Let’s play hide and seek. You know the rules, don’t you?” “Alright, I’ll count to 50 and you will only get out if you hear Mommy and Daddy. No one else! Do you understand?” “Y/N? Y/N?”. You stayed hidden as your parents ordered and made sure in being as quiet as possible. You crawled back on yourself when you heard loud noises and shouts. “FIND THEM!”, was heard not far away from where you were hidden. You saw black boots position themselves in front of you, blocking the mere light your eyes had access to. “Clear” a deep voice growled emotionless. The shadow was gone as quickly as it arrived.

You let out the breath you were holding when you felt a grip on your leg pushing you out of your corner. The man quickly covered your mouth before your fear could express itself in a form of a yell and shushed you. “Your parents send me.” Only trusting your gut and your parent’s words, you tried to bite the hand off but came across metal. He chuckled slightly before turning yourself to him, “That would have been clever if it wasn’t me.” In front of you were the bluest eyes you’ve ever seen, a mix between extreme roughness and a hint of kindness.

You tried to kick him and get yourself out of his hold but it was impossible. “Stop”, his deep voice made you still.  Your body trembled more and more, deeply aware of what was waiting for you at the other end of the corridor. “Don’t say a word”, he whispered. It wasn’t a problem. At this point, you barely produced enough saliva in your mouth. In the corner of your eye, you saw the bad guys approaching and felt your breath cut short. At your grand surprise, the man your parents told you to fear and never cross path with, didn’t turn you to the enemies. When they were out of sight, he led you the opposite way and pushed the wall where a secret exit door was concealed. “Get inside, crawl until the end and when you’re sure that the coast is clear, you run as fast as you can. Someone will be at the end of the way waiting for you. Is it clear?”, he said. You nodded instinctively. He was about to close the door behind when you stopped him. “Aren’t you coming with?” He gulped and shook his head. “I have to find your parents and get them out of here.” “Don’t leave me alone”, you stuttered and felt tears streaming down your face. “ Y/N, if you follow my instructions, everything will be alright”. You nodded again and asked him “What’s your name?” He looked at you, a mix between pride and mostly fear before answering, “My name is Bucky…” “SOLDAT!!!”, was being shouted. Bucky looked at you one more time before yelling “GO!”.

You woke up in sweat, the monitor beeping your heart rate out while you tried to catch some air. “Hey it’s ok, you’re alright”, you heard and saw Wanda beside you. “What did you do to me?”, your voice shacked. “I..I’m bringing back your memories.” “Why?” She gave you a weak smile before declaring, “Because no one deserves to live in a lie. You deserve to know the truth, the real events that occurred in your life and not what they implanted in your brain for their advantage.” You gulped and locked away. “Will you keep doing that?”, you asked weakly. “If you want me to continue, yes.” Your eyes locked with hers before you nodded. “Good. It’s not going to be easy but you’re not alone in the process. We’re here for you”, she commented. “Why would you? I only caused destruction and almost killed some of you.” “We all have our demons and honestly we all tried to kill each other at least once”, she joked. She felt that you needed some time alone and discretely left the room.

She arrived at the King’s meeting room and saw the team, T’Challa, Shuri and Okoye discussing. “How is she?”, asked Bucky worried when he saw Wanda entering the room. All the eyes fixed on her, she exhaled deeply and sat down. “She’ll get there, eventually.” As soon as those words left her mouth, everyone in the room heard you shouting from the top of your lungs. Some on them already on their feet were stopped by Wanda who assured them,” It’s alright. She needs to let it all out.” The others still perplexed returned to their seats except for Bucky who standing, faced the door listening to you. He was having a hard time staying passive at the situation but he also knew, confronting you would only do worst.

Wanda came back the next days, slowly recovering your memories. Recovering your memories was something, recovering your identity was another. It didn’t matter how much you were rediscovering about your past, the dark about you was complete. The images felt like photograms being projected in front of your eyelids, 25 photograms per second of unknown events. “Do you want to stop for today?”, asked Wanda. “No, let’s continue some more.” She showed a moment you were both together, laughing, crying, singing and dancing. One of those nights where you didn’t feel like Atlas carrying the world’s weight and problems.

“I have a terrible voice”, you laugh. “Shut up, no you don’t”, counterattacked Wanda. “You kidding, have you really heard me? I could evoke thunder faster than Thor”, you tell her and she falls on the bed, laughing. You join her and look at the colors of the projected stars on the ceiling. “It must be beautiful up there, don’t you think?”, you ask her. She hums in agreement. “You think Thor would ever let us join him, flee Earth for a moment, get to know other species and communities?”, you talk out loud. “I hope… but in the meantime, we still have those two bottles and snacks to finish. Which movie now? The Nice Guys or This means war?”, she asked. You pretend to think about it while you see her grinning at the corner of your eye. “This means war”, you turn towards her before sliding awkwardly down the bed, making her laugh hysterically.

When she finished showing you that memory, you turned to her and asked, “We were close weren’t we?”. The end of her lips lifted in a shy smile but didn’t continues their course. Sadness, nostalgia maybe. “Yeah we were”, she whispers, awareness taking over her, knowing your relationship will never be the same again. “I’m so consumed by hatred or whatever this is that I didn’t realize that I wasn’t the only one who lost big time. They stole my life and with it all our future moments together. I’m sorry”, you tell her. “Don’t apologize for something you had no control over. They’re to blame”, she replied.

Five minutes later, Shuri and T’Challa entered the room, their personal guard carrying two boxes. “Hello Y/N, how are you today?”, asked the King. “I’m good thank you. How are you?” He chuckled before replying he was alright. “I’ve been working hard on it and your new prosthetics are finished”, exclaimed Shuri excited. Your frowned not understanding where she was going. “I’m sorry, my what?” The proceeded to open the boxes and in front of you were what was supposed to be your new vibranium arms and legs in a black and purple design. 

You internally gasp, looking at the mesmerizing work in front of you. “You like? Because if you don’t, I ca-“, “No, I…I love it but I can’t accept it”, you tell them biting on your teeth in order to prevent you from crying and showing them your feelings. “Hey none of that alright. Don’t worry and besides they’re cooler than Barnes’”, whispered Shuri before covering her mouth. “Oh no sorry, I know I shall not mention you know who”, she quickly said. “It’s ok Shuri. I guess I’ll have to face him one day, I just don’t really have the strength to it right now.” They nodded and your eyes landed on the prosthetics. “They’re gorgeous. Thank you”, you tell Shuri and T’Challa. For the first time you smiled in what felt like ages.

“When can I put them on? I have a revenge to plan!”, you exclaimed with a small smirk and dark eyes.

@samingtonwilson​ - if you like friends to lovers wait until you read “apartment 8c” bc its literally friends to lovers to exes and back to friends and roommates to possible lovers again LMAO but actually this story is so fun and I LOVE stories like this that play w common tropes and make them cool and super amazing I love

@suz-123​ - “crazy, beautiful” has both smut and veterinary!bucky like what more could someone want. I literally CAN NOT WAIT to see where this story goes its so cool and interesting and I'm OBSESSED with the readers personality and her and Bucky’s lil bonding moments ugh

No, I love AUs but I don't think I'd ever really be interested in crossovers

No, I have been lucky enough that I havent recieved any hate, and I thank every deity out there for it.

Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I think this one is a pretty obvious yes. I dabble in pretty all smut, only exceptions would be ddlg or heavy bdsm because it makes me a little uncomfortable.

Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I am aware of!

Have you ever co-written a fic before?

No, and I don't think I ever will. I'm a bit of a control freak when it comes to my work, and I have a set way I like to write, but I mean I could try at some point if I'm interested enough in a project.

What's your all time favorite ship?

Bail and Breha Organa or Kanan and Hera (though I try and stay away from ships because those can get toxic and weird fast in fandoms)

What's a WIP that you want to finish but don't think you ever will?

Im not sure how many of you remember the Mob!Paz series I wanted to start and then ended up only writing one part, but I'd have to choose that one. I liked the idea, but better ideas came along and I never really liked how I started off the series....(hence why it isn't on Ao3)

What are your writing strengths?

I have absolutely no idea....describing stuff?? I know I use alot of descriptive words because I like setting scenes and try to describe feelings the best I can, not sure if I succeed though. Maybe someone can tell me what my strengths are because I genuinely don't know lol

What are your writing weaknesses?

Commas, I have a fucking addiction to them. Probably run-on sentences too.

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

Being a white native English speaker who can't learn another language to save my life, I'm not very comfortable doing it myself. I guess the exception being mando'a, but even then I stick to small phases that I know or know where I can find it where it's written correctly.

Whats your favorite fic you have ever written?

Hands down, without a doubt, The Merman and the Lighthouse Keeper. I absolutely love building the world and plotting out ideas or references to put in the story. Not to mention all of the feedback and interaction with you guys I get with the story always gets me excited.

Bucky Barnes x Reader

Hold My Girl by @captain-ariel-barnes - this one HURTS let me just tell you. it is absolutely beautiful and does a wonderful job at not only portraying bucky, but also the feeling that I'm sure a lot of couples who were split up because of wwii felt. like I said this story is amazing but it left me crying and my heart hurting - in the best way possible! 

Soft by @chillingbucky - oh my goodness did this story hit home for me. for the most part, I’ve been pretty confident with my body but also have wanted to change to boost that confidence even more and then felt worse when I didn’t stick through with my new plan.this story perfectly encapsulates those feelings and it nearly brought me to tears over how incredible bucky was at comforting the reader. when I read this it was the first story I read that day and it put me in such a great mindset!!

Lifelong Love Song Series by @suz-123 - even though this is not a bucky x reader (it’s an oc), this story is beautiful and the way it portrays bucky just feels so right and so spot on. there is fluff, angst, hurt, comfort, love, everything in this story. you should definitely read this series! 

The House by @softlybarnes - ahhhh!! that is what I have to say for this story because it is so darn cute! bucky just makes me swoon (as always) and there is a great relationship between him and the reader! also, now I really want to fall in love and buy a fixer-upper house with the guy I marry. overall, if you want something fluffy that is extremely well written, this is one of those stories. 

Truth Hurts by @ussgallifreyfics - this story is so different than other fics that tackle this same topic, but it the best way possible! the beginning hurts, but slowly bucky starts to come into the story and it is so sweet. not only that, but there is a lot of power from within the reader, which is AWESOME! heck yeah we can rescue ourselves (but if Bucky wants to help as well, I won’t be mad lol)

Lemon Pie Series by @nacho-bucky - I have reread this series like three times already, and it is just perfection! not only do we get 40′s bucky, but we get a HAPPY BUCKY WHO SURVIVES THE WAR AND GETS TO START A FAMILY! Each chapter/snippet is just so beautifully written, and I get pulled into the story each and ever time. bucky just makes me want to swoon, and if I don’t find someone who treats me the way bucky treats the reader in this series, I do not what I will do. but, this and all cait’s stories are amazing so please go read this, it will make your day! 

Thomas Shelby x Reader

If Only You Knew by @im-not-looking-for-forgiveness - while this is technically a tommy x reader story, it really focuses on the friendship between the reader and lizzie stark, which I absolutely loved! it is such a healthy change to see lizzie portrayed in a nice way instead of a bitch as she often is written in stories. we love girls supporting girls, which is this story! 

My Dear Charlie by @kadwrites -again, another story that is technically tommy x reader, but focuses on a different relationship, and this time it is between the reader and charlie! what I love about this story is, it highlights the love that one can feel for a child that isn’t biologically theirs, which is just a reminder of how important it is to show our love to others and to demonstrate our appreciation to those who do love us. also, I love that this story focuses on an older charlie, which is something I haven’t really seen yet. 

Matches by @rhxegals - now this one really does focus on tommy and the reader, and I adore it! we get to see the reader confront tommy and I love when the reader is his equal in the sense that neither of them stand for being lied to or being left out of things. not only that, but we also see a more vulnerable side of tommy, and we get to understand his protective side a bit more which I am also a fan of! 

this drabble by @connerkennt - it is short and sweet but powerful! it really shows (again) how protective tommy is over those he loves and I adore protective tommy! (alfie also plays a role in this drabble, which is always a plus!)

John Shelby x Reader

Something Unexplained by @justauthoring - man do I love john shelby, and if you do too, this is the story for you. just the way that olivia describes how john loves the reader makes my heart absolutely gush! I don’t want to spoil anything, so you just have to read it! (and there are so many other wonderful stories on this blog to check out after you finish this one!)

Steve Rogers x Reader 

Beauty and the Beast AU by @kayteewritessteve - I am so so glad I found this story when I did so that I can include it on this list! au’s are some of my favorite stories to read/write, and the fact that this is beauty and the beast and mob!steve is absolutely amazing!! kaytee does such a wonderful job with drawing you into the story and really making you feel the power and emotions of the scene! only the first few chapters are up now, but they are great! 

Peter Parker x Reader 

Moving On by @midtownpetey -  my goodness, this one really hits right in the feels! I was tearing up throughout this entire story, because it is so beautifully written and really highlights the process of moving on when losing a loved one. it is not a graphic story, but the healing aspect, learning to move on when you feel like you can’t, that’s really what got me! 

Harry Potter x Reader

Under the Stars by @lvmosity - this story is just pure fluff and it’s an actually harry potter story, which I feel like is so rare here on tumblr. anyway, I love how it’s just the reader and the golden trio worried about getting dates for the yule ball! there’s no underlying threat, just teens being teens, and harry being adorably awkward!

Scott Lang x Reader

Blue Dresses and Daises by @mypassionsarenysins - I just want to take this moment to appreciate the heck out of this story because it is absolutely amazing! not only is it a scott lang story (who is severely underappreciated! which why? he’s a dork and it’s paul rudd!) but this story is just filled with so much love that it makes me so happy and smiley. definitely a good one if you’re feeling down or you just want something extra fluffy!

Bonnie Gold x Reader 

Ring Girl by @blinder-secrets - okay so I recently just got into bonnie gold stories, and man am I glad I did because this one is wonderful! bonnie is just so cute but he is also so protective over the reader, and it makes my heart swell! I love when you can feel how intense a relationship is through writing, and that’s what this is. 

Roger Taylor x Reader

Hold Me Close Before I Go by @queenrogah - sobbing, just pure sobbing! well first of all, this story is slightly inspired by the song ‘so close’ from enchanted and I LOVE that song, so I was hooked from the beginning. but this story is very angsty but also mixes together so beautiful to tell this story of lost love between roger and the reader. it combines the past and the present so well, that truly tugs at your heartstrings for an emotional roller-coaster that is so worth it!

Long Distance by @dreamer821 - alright this is super long, but I promise it is so worth reading!! from the beginning, I was hooked and I got to witness this amazing story and all the love there is between roger and the reader. there is a bit of smut in this story, but the whole story really goes to show how powerful love is even when two people aren’t always near each other. it’s one of those stories that can restore your faith in love!

Laurie Laurence x Reader

Lost Love by @lotsoffandomimagines - ever since I saw little women in theaters, I have been looking for a laurie story, and this is the first one I found. oh my goodness, it is AMAZING, and I truly hope that there is a second part. but this story just draws you in and makes you fall for laurie, then comes there with that ending! I know I’m not describing this as best as I could, but trust me, the writing is beautiful and it wonderfully emotional. go read it! (also the gif of laurie is perfect!)

What I Wished I Said by @lillie-writes - do you want an angsty laurie story? well, here you go! this story is the form of the letter, and it made me tear up by the time I reached the end. it is so simple, but so heartbreaking. you can just feel how much laurie loves the reader and how much he wants to apologize, and I just wanted to find a way to hug him and comfort him. you will not be disappointed with this story! 

Ransom Drysdale x Reader (Knives Out)

this drabble by @terry-perry- oh my goodness!! alright, first, I love knives out, and second, I love chris evans as ransom drysdale in that movie even though he is an asshole. however, this drabble does a wonderful job at showing a different side of ransom and how dedicated he and the reader are to their relationship!

Haunted by @et-lesailes = this is such a powerful story! now there is a trigger warning for this one so please be mindful of that but this story does a wonderful job at tackling such a difficult topic and how sometimes opening to another person can be exactly what you did. (and we also get to see more soft, non-asshole ransom which is always great!)

1. What was the first fandom you got involved in? Well the first fandomy things I read were Harry Potter and then pjo/hoo stuff, but then I didnt really get involved in a fandom until I became obsessed with Dear Evan Hansen and Newsies, and, well, now I'm here!

Harry Potter: Harry/Ron

Pjo/hoo/all that: Percy/literally anyone other than Annabeth. They're my babies and I love them. I'm sure there are others but its been so long since I read those lol

Hamilton: literally everything that isnt "canon" bc its history and I'm a history nerd, so I just can't ship that stuff

Dear Evan Hansen: I'm not super opposed to it, but I just dont really ship Alana with anyone, I hc that she's on the ace/aro spectrum

Newsies: I dont hate them, but I'm not a fan of Jack/Spot, Race/Jack and Race/Kath... Tbh I'm pretty plain and boring for newsies, I stick mostly with the more common pairings, with a few rarepairs (unrelated but hhhh do y'all remember when ralbert was a rarepair ahbsnaj my baby boys theyve grown so much

Supernatural: Sam/Dean. Its literally incest y'all are fucking insane. No apologies. Also Cas/Meg bc Twist and Shout traumatized me.

Psych: Shawn/Gus, Shawn/Lassiter, Lassiter/Juliet. Yes, I hc Shawn as bi, but that doesnt mean I ship him w/ any of the guys in the show... Shawn and Juliet are soulmates. Period.

22. Is there anything you regret writing? Ugh yes I had this Stucky fic where Steve was a tiny asthmatic dude just living his life and Bucky was the strong one armed contractor that was fixing his deck and there was super weird sexual tension and it was badly written. I have since deleted it from ao3, my fic doc, and my memory. It lives on within the depths of the mind of my bestie/beta reader/editor/confidant/number one supporter @thelazyhero-ttums who read it and was the one who made me realize how terrible it was. It was a rude awakening but im glad I had it bc it made me the writer I am today lmao

24. What fic do you desperately need to rewrite or edit? Hshsjajs RIGHT AND RECONCILIATION!!! Right and Reconciliation are the first two newsies fics I ever wrote. The plot is solid and could be great if I just rewrote it... My aforementioned bestie is the leader (and sole member) of the Rewrite Right and Reconciliation crusade but tbh I don't think ill ever rewrite them unless theres a college assignment thats like Rewrite Something You Wrote In Middle School Even Though You Hate It

29. Do you have a beta reader? Why/Why not? I don't have an official beta reader, but between running things by @natthemess, my bestie from before, my friend missa, usually about 80% of every fic I post has been read before I post it bc I thrive on,the validation of my friends

35. Do you write drabbles? If so, what do you normally write them about? Okay so by technical definition a drabble is 100 words or less, but I consider everything under like 750 to be a drabble, so by those rules yes I write drabbles. I actually have a series of Assorted Newsies Drabbles on my ao3, and I mostly write them about fluffy stuff, a lot of soft cuddly morning fics, little projections of things I'm feeling if ive had a particularly bad day/strong emotion stuff like that

47. Archive, fanfic.net or Tumblr: which do you prefer to post and why? Archive and Tumblr. Archive bc its the Superior Fanfic Site, and tumblr bc I feel like it boosts my platform. Also yes, I shamelessly linked my ao3 up there in the question, check it out if you like :P

48. Do you leave reviews when you read fanfiction? Why? Yes. Yes! YES!!! Why, you ask? Because I am an author and I know how it feels to have 600 hits, 100 odd kudos and 12 comments (including your own replies to comments.) It just hurts a lot knowing literally only 1% of people took the time to comment. Literally all it takes is a "I loved this! Great writing!!" Or a "HAHAJSHAJJSHS BABIE,BABIES BABIEST ILY" that shit makes my day.
