so for english one of our assessment tasks for this unit is to produce a podcast episode giving our opinions on and discussing themes in our film for this unit. now our teacher is very lovely and nice. but, she made a fatal mistake was when she decided to allow 3 queer kids, two out of whom are autistic, to have basically free reign discussing a queer film that they all immensely enjoy. so now, we have a 30+ min podcast recorded exploring the intersection of queerness, gender and tchaikovsky's swan lake in great detail. the podcast was supposed to be 4 minutes long. 4 minutes. this is us holding back btw we definitely could've and would've discussed this even more in depth had we not ran out of time recording. and so now we've got 3 days for me to edit down all this audio. and everyone's supposed to listen to them in class next lesson too....

That moment he shuffled on his bed opening his hazel eyes to look into your (your eye colour) ones as you collected his clothes from the floor. You quickly looked away not realizing how is eyes were pinned on your body the whole time you nervously tried to do your work.

You rushed out while trying to hide your embarrassment over the whole situation. At least you have something to tell your friends and family on your next visit to your village, you thought.

Oh, if only you knew at that time that family and friends were a thing of the past, Edward was already planning on courting you as his new queen. The man as heartless as he seemed was a romantic since his childhood loosing himself in the fairytales he loved so much. He always hoped to slay a dragon or climb a tower to prove his love, but instead he got handed the first princess his father could thought of.

But killing the queen in the your name would surely prove his love.

And Edward was not a man of empty promises.

I have a personal story that I think will resonate so I’ll use that as an analogy:

A few years back I had a serious girlfriend, I loved her more than anything (at the time lmao) however she started to change. She became cold, secretive, honestly? Abusive. I felt so trapped that I turned to law of assumption. Affirming that she’d text me back. However because my self concept at the time was so poor, our relationship ended up fizzling out completely. (I’m grateful for that though because she was the devil incarnate lmao)

Have you worked on your self concept? EIYPO after all. And since everyone is you pushed out, if you do value yourself less, that is the way she’ll behave around you.

However if this doesn’t resonate then possibly try to really think about your beliefs surrounding the law. Are you stressed over your manifestations? Do you truly believe you are a god? Do you believe you have the power to change your life? If not then work on that first, trust me.

On your last question regarding time until your manifestation materialises: it really doesn’t matter. Once you’ve accepted your desire in 4D, it exists. END OF. Taking the importance away from the 3D really helped me deal with waiting for my manifestations to come to fruition. Know that there’s a version of you with exactly what you want. You just have to accept it as true.

I have a theory I made of the qsmp I don’t know if anyone will care or even know this happened but I really wanted to share it! Please don’t send me harassment or hate even if you think my theory is wrong, words hurt guys :,)

Start of theory:

So when the qsmp first started, there was a moment where Spreen and quackity attacked roier killing him and getting him all fucked up

It was called the betrayal.

Spreen had previously talked to demon rubius who had influenced him in ways… I think rubius possessed Spreen and got quackity to help betray roier and basically I think he made Spreen his puppet which is why he went missing to get cigarettes and such, I think Spreen was killed after he was no use to demon rubius or he was upset he wasn’t able to canonly kill roier

No one knows that Spreen was possessed or taken over so everyone thinks he was a terrible guy (btw he’s actually really nice irl so no hate to him irl he’s not his character) when he was actually possessed.

There’s a possibility that he may of been tricked or made some deal with demon rubius causing him to lose his right to his soul and body and demon rubius may of wanted roier dead for a reason, whether we know the reason or not I think roier has a past that causes demon rubius to want him killed so he used Spreen to murder him (quackity was there maybe because he was secretly elquackuru or was possessed to who knows im not sure why he want killed but maybe it’s because demon rubius knew el quackity could)

Maybe demon rubius sent el quackity to kill the real quackity

I think rubius has a lot to play in the role of the qsmp lore we don’t know of

I think there’s so much potential to these characters even if the theory isn’t true it would be a really cool au if it is a false theory :3

Kachina’s name is funny

Its 2 am and i cant stop thinking about this and i need to get it out bc every single time i look at her name i think of this and can’t even enjoy the storyline aaaaaa lmao

So! We’ve seen that genshin has a history of making up the most bizarre names ever, like idek what happened after inazuma or if sumeru’s names are this funny (idk much about the region it’s inspired in so forgive me for being uneducated), BUT, i do know this: there’s a poor npc in fontaine literally called Book, just Book, wtf genshin, there’s a lot of npcs and pplcalled weird things, and with Natlan that’s wven more obvious that while genshin team does great stuff for plotlines and inspiration for each region, they just say WHATEVER WHEEEEE for names. Bc, who calls themselves/their children Boba? Like wtf?! I’m not even mad about it just why??

I play the game in spanish btw, and Boba is like calling yourself silly or stupid, a friend told me that the English equivalent was also something along those lines so we know this is on purpose? Again wtf lmao

Then there’s the npc called Umi, isn’t that ocean in japanese? And said npc is from the ocean tribe dont get me wrong, if we want to make an accurate “inspiration” from America (America is a continent, ill throttle the person that says its a country thanks) it makes sense to have lots of names that come from different places bc we do have a mix of cultures that resulted in today’s life, but it doesn’t make any sense in Natlan’s whole description, bc these ppl are described as ppl that don’t go out of their country at all? They do receive visitors and i imagine one or two would probably want to stay but it’s still strange, noted, Umi is not the only strange name i’ve seen but i dont keep a notebook with all of genshin’s lore/plot/naming/etc holes bc i would have to make it a full time job. So far a couple things make no sense to me, BUT ALSO! Natlan is culturally rich and filled with stuff i approve, i mean, i like it so far, the legends, myths and way of interaction between characters is rivh and meaningful, i especially loved a quest about a shadow needles bc it felt like revisiting old myths from my memory!

the main quest relating to Kachina is also very interesting and despite it being complete fiction, the way the underworld is constructed is also reminiscent of myths and legends - ik its not called underworld, sorry, its 2am i forgot the name - that place felt to me like one of the scary tales ppl traditionally tell each other but with a very Teyvat element mixed in, and that’s good in my book

there’s also the apparent mix of maya, inca and aztecas in culture and storytelling? And its also true that America has more stories about wars and warriors known to ourselves and the rest of the world? I’d probably have much more to say about this if i had slept, but there are no towns named Fighting soul in my country for no reason, which i find funny and sad af bc wars are shitty excuses to steal and do awful awful things, but whatever. There’s also the way they captured the behavior of ppl in the coasts, kudos to them for that, obviously things irl are not always that good or pretty and some parts of America do have a lot of poverty bc corruption is also shit, but it is true that ppl (i’ve met) in the coast is much mote laidback than in the city, more prone to random music and parties and dancing, big big parties too, the surf part i have never seen in my country so no comments there

some stuff (like the food) is a bit so so for me (im still wondering where shrimp tacos were invented wtf, there’s also too much corn which i find hilarious), and im not even gonna talk about the saurian stuff bc his post is already long enough without talking about Kachina

anyways! in general i really liked it.

nunber 3 and less important is the K, it’s overused in Natlan and i find it funny bc many ppl here use the c instead, the k it’s actually more rare in names unless your name is Katheryn or unusual (i once heard the name Ikza and I believe its cool, just not common)…just a thought but: Quinich sounds too much like Quiche so that’s why ill allow Kinich but the qu is way more vommon

number 2 the Ka is just fine, but the China. I just…China is a countey and I can’t help but think of it! Especially bc in spanish it aounds the exact same

number 1 and my biggest concern wity her name, and this is way more personal but I JUST CANT UNSEE IT! In my country we sometimes refer to young ppl as chino or china which is also the way to call ppl from China (probably not coincide but I haven’t researched why this happened to the slang in the first place) so maybe when someone is not listening to you or when they are being tricky or hot headed its bot rare flr someone else to say “¡Este chino/a!” Like saying “this little troublemaker!” Or smth like “¡esta china no hace caso!” Which means “this girl won’t listen/obey!” You could even say “la china de allá” which would mean you are pointing to a girl that is most definitely not chinese but it’s in your field of vision

its not used to denigrate anyonebut it is commonly used as slang by both adults and kids, sometimes even elderly will use it but in more informal situations…

this is why, it feels so damn weird to keep reading and hearing Kachina, sometimes i think im reading ‘pa aca china” kinda “come here kid” and other times im reading the equivalent of ka-girl

I obviously don’t blame the developers or genshin team for not knowing this (i do blame them for Poisson-Fish, Livre-Book, Boba-Silly, etc etc) but i just cant unsee it, even in serious situations its so weirdly funny and awkward

hi musieee!!! i've been following yours truly for a loooong time and personally it may be the best not only in the hazbin fandom but among all the fan fiction i've read. thank you very much for bringing together so many people with the same feelings even though it takes so much effort to even think and write a fiction. (even though i was a monk while waiting for the 30th chap :p) i would be rich if i earned a dollar every time i logged into ao3 to see if the notification had arrived. it will be a great compensation after my birthday and the university entrance exam. at the same time i am very sad because we are approaching the 40th chap. especially when the story between 27-28 has reached its own consistency. i really like the dialogues, they are very natural and fluent, not only in the fan fictions, in general there is no artificiality that i complain about even in many books. you inspire even a procrastinator like me and push me to write something.

as a song suggestion, i recommend "Rattlesnake" from Kabaret Sybarit, which is a song by a Danish band that is unfortunately not very well known and has already disbanded. in fact, it is jazz-oriented fits the New Orleans theme, and some of its songs use French words as well as English, and it is a song that includes the theme of enemy-lovers. i can recommend many of his songs. btw, the word "Sybarit" is a phrase used in Danish for hedonistic men in the 1930s, for some reason this reminds me of someone else ;). I may have taken the song to its root, sorry. here we gooo

in some parts of the song, it is said "Living is overwhelming" or "Killing is overwhelming", Penelope is the one who is living, but here "overwhelming" refers to her in a sense that makes people stressed due to the intensity of life. in the one with killing, a more pleasant "overwhelming" is mentioned in the sense that Alastor is enjoying it. thank youuu for your time, i hope you enjoy it and it inspires you

I do, however, totally buy that an american audience mostly comprised of sports fans would look at a teenage boy struggling with a language barrier and immediately label him as 'different' and 'awkward' and 'quiet' and 'dweeby' and a whole bunch of other labels that shoves him into a box and then expect him to stay in that box because they've already decided on what kind of person he is.

We know how our (US) culture works, there's hundreds of american high school movies testifying to the sports/popularity hivemind.

But thats a temporary ostracization. It doesn't feel the same as the more personality-based, more permanent ostracization of the stereotypical 'dweeb' in high school. It's very different to grow up with a bunch of kids in the same neighborhood and watch yourself slowly become excluded and ignored as you get older. that wasnt me - my mother was my bully and from elementary school on she forced me into a form of social normal that made me invisible rather than a target for school bullies. (I dont know if i would reccomend this parenting style though). But i was friends with most of those kids - the ones who nobody would talk to and everybody would make fun of behind their back (we were post c*lumbine so outward bullying was frowned upon). That boy in my square dancing class was one of the few male dweebs, his name was yusef - like joseph but with a "y" and "you" sound. And im not kidding, i dont think the poor kid ever had any friends? Even i couldnt get him to talk, and ive always been pretty good at drawing people out of their shell. Most of the dweebs were girls - colleen, diane, stephanie, alicia - all my friends, all of whom i remember better than the jocks at our school. And absolutely a conscious choice on my part, i remember the point in elementary school when i was walking home with a few girls i knew and they saw colleen and diane a half block ahead of us (within hearing distance), and immediately started pointing out everything that made the two 'dweeb' girls weird and what was wrong with them. And i didnt even say anything i just glared at the girls i was with and ran ahead to walk with colleen and diane instead. And that was that, i knew i had picked sides, i wasnt ever going to join in with the people who make fun of those that are different \o/

aaand now im dealing with a total new form of social ostracization here in LA that feels eerily familiar, but whereas in school you could ignore the social game playing and succeed in spite of them, here suddenly what job you get hangs on who you know. Everybody always used to bug me like 'why are you staying in pittsburgh so long, why havent you tried to make it in the real industry yet' and my answer was always a) i loved my team and they needed me and b) i was art director so had more creative freedom (and my own office) than i could expect to have anywhere else. But i think truthfully in the back of my mind i kinda knew - there were enough hints over the years - what this city would be like and that i would be abysmal at fighting to survive in it.

Anyway im just sayin i dont think malkin - or any of these hockey players - has ever dealt with that level of social ostracization. Its nice watching these guys be nice to other people they consider on their level, and really cute and enjoyable. But for me at least there's always that awareness that if any of them met me, im not the type of person they'd consider worthy of time or attention - probably wouldnt be outright mean, but absolutely would be trying to avoid any lengthly association lol. I think its one of the main differences between being in sports fandom vs books or movies.

ALTHOUGH god, i will never ever forget the day i met one of my biggest childhood heroes - an author about my age 24ish. Who i idolized because she was living my dream - getting to write and create for a living and starting at such a young age. And she was mostly indifferent to me, didnt say much, didnt interact, just signed the book. And i shrugged it off. But then this teenage girl came up, just radiating what we'd call dweebiness. Her hair was a mess, face full of acne, awkward, but loud and really enthusiastic about the book, and desperate for someone to share that enthusiasm. And the author was mean. And cold. To this teenage girl who obviously idolized her and would have killed to have some sign of approval even if it was faked. Anway, instead this teenage girl latched onto me and i had to try to make up for the bitchy author but i knew my approval wasnt worth nearly as much and it broke my heart. I havent read or bought a single one of that author's novels since.

so yeah, its not just jocks, but they have the worse reputation in media.

hello! so ill start with that very daemon idea that has him as the canter. so idk? get ready? love letter under the ***

deamon x reader who's his wife (prob newlywed). there is some kind of a fight (tourney? war?) and she has to be by his side. during the action deamon gets distracted and stops keeping an eye on the reader bc he's too busy and also knows she's excellent with her sword. however, she gets injured, badly but not deadly.

and when every relative blames him for not protecting her, when each lady whispers to her friend or her husband that it was him who practically killed the princess, that's when he realise she's not a swordswoman anymore. they were childhood friends and they used to run the forest together, play smth stupid and do the shit children do. they used to have lots of sword-fighting, she was just as good as he if not better, but they're not children anymore.

that's when it strikes him. she's a woman, she's his wife, she's supposed to give him his heirs (prob on the wedding night he was too drunk to either be turned on or to remember), she has no right to even think about a sword not that she can so much as hold it. so now he has to live with this realisation when ever since their very wedding his mind hasn't digested a thought of his childhood friend (mb also his minor ex-crush) being his wife, and he has to comfort/take care of/accept his wife.

(in my head it's something long or having more than 1 part but it's absolutely understandable if you see it another way/do not see at all. hope u liked it a little and really hope to see it written by your talented hands someday. absolutely not obligatory. dont ever feel pressed. its ok if you can't/need much time/anything else. your comfort is the priority)

(in my head it's something long or having more than 1 part but it's absolutely understandable if you see it another way/do not see at all. hope u liked it a little and really hope to see it written by your talented hands someday. absolutely not obligatory. dont ever feel pressed. its ok if you can't/need much time/anything else. your comfort is the priority)

Do be so interesting to read fandom history cause while i did gain interest in fandoms really early for my baby self, it also mainly took place in a ru**ian speaking part of the internet

But torrent sites were so abundant it was not even funny. They still are, just a bit prettier, and less likely to give you a malware you purge for the next three days from you pc. Like when i tell you i was surprised you can get fined or smh over streaming from the wrong site i was flabbergasted. Yeah. The same thing with fandom content, the cursed ru**ian site i was on simply did not care. No one cared about any ownership. Hell, this was technically positioned as a social medie but became really dark at some point, doxxing was way too common. And there were ‘asks’ which is basically you take on a role of a character and answer questions and post. In the later years they also got littered with legal rules but for the longest time it was just. Nothing

To be completely honest, i do think fanfiction writers deserve to have commisions and everything and have the option to be given shit for their work. Fanartists do, and the main reason writers dont is because for whatever reason, legally speaking, it can be argued that the person is paying for the artist’s interpretation or a charater so its not a crime. Idk it may vary between different countries its just what i heard people at mine say. Its always much more finicky when it comes to writing and there is no walking around it which sucks ass but whatever i guess. I think it was just a bit more of a pressing issue in my circles due to everyone being sad depressed poor and writing to take control of their lives in any way possible but not much space to be actually creative and try to live on writing books

And, most importantly, the oldest reblog on your blog is 11 hours old.

Come on, man. You've got enough reblogs to look decent at a quick glance, the phrasing of the ask feels real enough on first reading, and you've at least got a profile pic and bio and reasonable url, but this is so obviously fake. I'm not going to reverse image search the cat pictures or look into the link but I don't think they'll line up with your story on scrutiny either.
