Acting had always been a dream of yours.

Maybe an unsupported dream since everyone told you that theater doesn't make a good career path, but then again, who cared? It was only until Varrick started to do movers that your enthusiasm came back.

The man was preparing a new series of movers where they tried to use Nuktuk to start a whole franchise for different nations to later on make them a group of invincible heroes and the next star was going to be a firebender fighting against a group of different benders –ah, yeah, he wanted to use the Red Lotus as inspiration.– and his idea was for the firebender to be a woman.

You didn't know about this new idea of his since you didn't really have an agent or agency, but Bolin was the first to tell and recommend you after you helped him with some acting lessons back when he was Nuktuk. Varrick held an audition with you and decided that you would be his next big discovery and so it happened, even if you weren't a fire nation citizen.

By the time the mover started rolling, Korra would make you company almost everyday of filming, cheering for you after the director would yell 'cut!', sitting next to you to talk about either the scenes or anything else to keep you mind off the set when you'd get nervous about next filming scene. She would help you with firebending moves in your trailer after getting ready and a kiss of good luck was given each time you would go back in front of the camera.

It was clear that Korra supported your new career, she always had your back even a couple of years back before starting dating she would always look after you. The avatar was the best thing to ever happen to you, you would always think to yourself everytime you looked at her, there wasn't any question about how the love felt was strong and reciprocated for both of you.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “CUT!” the man yelled, satisfied with how the fighting scene went. You let out a sigh of relief while resting your hands on your knees to catch your breath. “One second, fire lady, I just need to check something.”

Korra took advantage of the distraction to walk to you, she hugged you by the back once you straightening back up. “You were amazing, miss fire lady, you should do those fighting moves with me.” she said giving you a tiny kiss on your shoulder, you laughed at her comment.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “I would, if someone didn't cheat with her bending techniques.” you turned to face her with a smile, your arms rested on her shoulders. Now it was her turn to laugh before a soft kiss was exchanged between the two of you.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “HEY! STOP MESSING MY FIRE LADY'S MAKE-UP!” Varrick yelled with his director megaphone, making her step away from you with her hands held up to her shoulders height, you were laughing. “That's what I thought. Let's go! We need to have the next scene by today!”

After the mover was done, Korra and you had time again for yourselves. Everything seemed to be going great, you never knew a tiny snippet of the mover was transmitted on TV... Okay, well, at least you didn't knew the first days until one day you were stopped by a group of three girls calling you by your character's name and saying how cool the sneak peek was, that same day you went home to Korra and ran to the TV.

The avatar was confused when you stood around fifteen minutes in front of the television, until she heard your voice with a almost static sound, it made her turn around to look.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “No fucking way... It's you!” she exclaimed excited, sitting by your side almost pushing you out of the way to appreciate how gorgeous you looked in the traditional fire nation dress. “You look so sexy there.”

Your face started to feel hot at the comment, you were able to just giggle and cover your face. Korra turned to you and tackle you to the floor completely to hug you.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “My girlfriend is a mover star.” she said moving your hands off your face to start leaving ephemeral kisses all over it.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “Korra, stop!” you said in between laughs, but never pushed her away, you liked when she was affectionate with you.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “Uh-uh! We're going to celebrate this!” she stood up with such quickness that if you tried it would likely cause dizziness. “Dinner's on me.” the girl extended her hand to you so you could get up.

Both of you went on an express dinner, having two to three bowls of noodles each and regretting eating so much was how you were making your way back home.

So there you were, walking side by side and talking about all the topics that would come to mind until you were stopped by two girls. Excited they were asking you for a photo, a man with a gigant camera was behind them, you looked at Korra and she just smiled before taking a step to the side, the picture was taken and a couple of compliments were said before they left giggling in murmurs.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “I think I can't get use to that.” you said looking to hold her hand, she embrace the action and with her free hand cupped your face.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “You will, mover star.” a sweet kiss from her was what made you feel better, after distancing she started to walk again. “Let's go home, baby, I think I will explode now.”

After the mover was released, the things just escalated. Now you were stopped almost at every corner, most of the times you didn't mind, but when you were out with your friends or girlfriend you felt as it was too much.

You thought that maybe by the third week it would've calm down since the hype for the mover was starting to dissolve, at least that was before you were stopped by a group of five girls while Korra and you were just walking in the park to pass time with each other after the things calmed down.

They all gathered around you, making the waterbender take a few steps back without her taking the initiative. They were all talking at the same time about the mover, how pretty you looked, how you were even more beautiful in real life and how the fire nation's color suit you better.

You were trying to keep up with everyone, feeling how your right arm got hugged and a head rested upon your shoulder, you didn’t know how to stop them, so you just stayed there smiling awkwardly. When you looked up to ask for your girlfriend's help, you noticed how she wasn't in front of you, desperately your eyes looked for her finding her silhouette walking away, way too far for her to hear you if you called her name.

A bad mouth taste was what you had, smiling forcefully at the girls to be kind to them. You signed whatever they wanted you to sign, took photos and got overwhelmed with the flash, but after a couple of minutes they let you go when you used the excuse that you had to head home before it got dark.

You knew Korra enough to recognize what had happened, before going home you went to a flower shop and bought the perfect bouquet for her: her and your favorite flowers. Walking into the apartment you didn't see her at the living room nor the dinner room when you left your keys on the table so you went directly to the bedroom where you saw the southerner looking out of the window.

With your free hand you knocked on the door. “Tulips and water lilies delivery.” you said with a tiny smile when she looked at you, her eyes just went back to the window.

You sighed and carefully left the flowers on the bed before sitting next to her in the couch.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “I know something's bothering you...” you started, trying to look for her gaze. “Are you not going to talk to me?”

The Avatar licked her lips, thinking before looking at you. “It's... It's silly, leave it.”

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “It's not silly if it bothers you.” She hugged her knees and look down. “Korra...”

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “It's just that they were all over you,” she spat suddenly, making you nod. “And I know it shouldn't bother me because you are with me, but it seemed that they didn’t respect that and wanted you for them anyways. You should've seen how they were looking at you, the girl hugging you was the worse.”

One of your hands rested in her arm and left caresses while hearing her, you were glad to have clear communication with your girlfriend.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “I'm sorry, my love, I should've set boundaries.” you said, the girl looked back at you. “You don't have to worry about anyone, Korra, I love you and only you. There's not one person in this world who can make me look at any other direction that is not you.”

The heart of the Avatar felt as it was about to leave its place on her body, she moved to sit better and in a quick move catching you off guard her lips met yours in such a familiar manner for the both of you. Korra heard how you sighed and loved the way you melt on the kiss, almost getting on top of you if it wasn’t for how you distanced from her a little bit.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “Let me make it up to you.” you murmured over her lips. “Since our spontaneous date was ruined, let me take you out for another date. There's a mover about a romantic comedy that just came out and after we can go for noodles, what do you think?”

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “We have a date, darling,” she said, a tiny kiss was left on your lips and she completely separated to stand up. “But no noodles for some time, I still remember the feeling of that other night after eating too much.”

You laughed, copying her by standing up. “No noodles then, we can eat meat.”

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “My spirits, you have no idea how much I love you.” she said out of breath, her arm hugged you by the shoulders to leave the apartment together.

The mover went by quicker than you two thought, loving the way it turned out. Now you were sitting on a table waiting for the food on a restaurant that closed late, there were groups of friends eating before going dancing, couples who also had a late night date and people who work until late having something to eat before going straight home to rest. You were watching Korra play with her straw.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “Maybe I should leave the movers.” the girl started coughing, you were fast to stand up and pat her back a little bit.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “I'm okay, I'm okay,” she said hoarsely. “What the fuck are you talking about?”

You made your way back to your seat, a little grimace painted on your face. “You know, since this thing with... fans? seems to be problematic, maybe it's best if I leave it.”

Korra looked for your hands over the table and hold them. “Listen to me, don't let those girls stop you from following your dream.” her eyes were fixated in yours, almost as if she was anxious. “Don't let me stop you either, you're such a great actress with a bright future and it would break my heart to see you waste your talent.”

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “You really think so?” you bit your bottom lip, nervous.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “Of couse, my love! You have to be the best actress Republic City has ever seen.” the southerner took your hands and left a kiss on your knuckles. “Besides, I can presume I have a famous girlfriend that way, don't you think?”

You laughed now, Korra smiled at the sound. “As if you're not the fucking Avatar, be serious, Korra.” you breathe in, relaxing a little bit. “I love you. So much.”

Beifong babies appreciation post

This is gonna be a more self indulgent post. But if you spend any time on my blog, you know how much I adore the Beifong family, particularly Suyin and her children. And you know what I don't see enough appreciation for Suyin's babies, which makes sense, since they're side characters, but here's a lil ramble about them and some reasons why I love them.

Baatar Jr

Actually, I think Baatar is actually a very underutilised character for being Kuvira's supposed right hand man, as well as her fiancé.

He's technically the brains behind Kuvira's collosus, and probably much more.

As damaging as living in his father's shadow was for him, I do find it extremely adorable how he engineered all Baatar Sr's projects, it's really cute!

His loyalty to Kuvira and his love for her is admirable. It's honestly adorable, how much she means to him.

Btw mans stared into Korra's eyes while she threatened him im the Avatar state and laughed. Say what you want about him but he has balls.

The angst surrounding his involvement with Kuvira is absolutely delicious.

Like imagine turning your back on everyone you know and love for one person, only for then to turn on you and try to kill you with upur own creation?

And then everything you've worked for for 3 years is null and void? Gnarly

Also him being under house arrest with the family he betrayed? You could argue he got off really easy, which he did... but goodness gracious the angst.

Huan

I'm like 75% sure that he's a reference to The Dark One, one of Toph's metalbending students, which is actually really fun I love you emo metalbenders.

I always found non combative benders very interesting, especially when they use their bending for things like art, it's very cool.

While I think a Huan's character is made to mock "tortured abstract artists" a bit, he actually isn't terribly caricaturised?

Like... he has a pretty clear ideology and moral compass, and he sticks to his guns, even when threatened. He clearly values personal freedom and freedom of expression, and is willing to stand up for it.

I also love headcanoning that he had a close relationship with Aiwei. Since some of Huan's ideals match up more or less with Red Lotus ideology, which makes me wonder if Aiwei did subtly indoctrinate Suyin's children.

Huan and Ikki's friendship is really cute too lol.

His design is also really cool ngl

Opal

MY BABY AHHH 🧡 honestly my fave female tlok character.

Free her from the heterosexual love interest dimension she deserves so much better lol.

Like, I really dislike Bopal as a ship, and part of it is because of how much of a disservice it does to both characters. But most anti Bopal takes I see are also horrifically anti Opal.

Honestly, Opal just gets a surprisingly large amount of hate in genral? Like why? People call her annoying and a brat/ a knockoff Korra and she's barely done anything lmao

Opal's is very interesting, her journey to independence, her unseen development between B3 and B4, her firece loyalty to her family despite her separation from them

A lot of people criticise her attitude towards Kuvira, but honestly, she was quite rational in her anger? I also think she should have been allowed to hold a grudge against Bolin for longer, like yes he redeemed himswlf somewhat when rescuing her family, but it does feel really shallow and a fast way of tying up a pretty complex storyline.

Her arc reminds me very much of Toph's in atla, which is bittersweet since we see how that ended for Toph.

I love her lil pouty face ahh.

Wei and Wing

Genuinely. Might be my fave underdeveloped side characters.

Avatar has a habit of making very interesting twin duos and these two are no exception.

I really like their strong bond with their mother, they really are the most mamma's boys to ever mamma's boy.

Similarly to Opal, the twins' firece loyalty to their family and city is really sweet, but also there's a lot of potential for angst here. Like, Opal gets to see the world and adventure, but the twins are probably stuck in Zaofu forever.

The twins also are the only ones of their siblings upholding that "Beifong metalbender" archetype that Toph started. I think there is a bit of pressure on them, ad they are the "golden boys" of the family

I'm also a sucker for when benders work together/combine their skills so seeing the twins work together is really sweet.

Also. Gay™️. [Insert longass ramble about weilin lol]

I actually find the small differences in personality between them that we are shown. Where Wei is a bit more snooty and competitive, Wing is very playful and outward with himself. I like picking their differences apart.

Y/n: They dont even care about the fucking game fr 💀💀💀💀 they hop on dress to impress and ignore all the themes and once the ratings and reviews start they begin trash talking everyone in the chat. Gives everyone 0 or 1 stars and tells them their fits fucking suck and that they should never leave their house ever again if that's how they dress. Everyone hates them but to y/n thats an even better reaction. Loves pissing people off amd that game is perfect for them.

Natsumi: Always follows the themes diligently but is extremely stingy when it comes to ratings. Someone can put together the best outfit ever and she'd still turn her nose up and find something to complain about. Shes actually so lamee because she literally takes the game so seriously 😭😭 she always tries super hard and genuinely feels upset if she doesn't place in the top 3 and y/n needs to listen to Natsumi being insecure

Endou: He has generally good ideas about fits but is sooo confused and disoriented... He always goes to the wrong sections and gets so overwhelmed to the point his brain malfunctions and the timer runs out and he's left to walk the podium with an incomplete/absurd look... Wjy is his skin green all of a sudden when the theme is Angel 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ Always spams the most foolish poses too LIKE YOU CAN DO BACKFLIPS WE GET IT

Gouenji: He's so unbothered ajd puts in minimum effort and even then that's still asking for too much. While everyone else in the lobby is skedaddling across the sections and panicking, he's walking around and is meticulously looking around and commenting to himself like he's live streaming. The craziest part is that he somehow ends up outranking those who try hard and bought the most expensive and fancy clothes. Doesn't gaf about it tho.

Kidou: Uses his black credit card and buys all the best poses and acquires the cutest clothes possible in the game and this means he should be able to win right?? No. He always places dead last and he gets HEATED. he gets HOT because what do you mean he wwasted so much money for nothing. Thinks the game is rigged (sore loser mentality)

Kino: She likes sticking to the basics and generally doesn't experiment much. Follows the themes diligently and her avatar's appearance looks cute and is considered okay, but its not enough to wow the judges and thus, she always places 4th or 5th. Finds the game fun but doesn't like how some players are clearly biased towards their friends especially when their fits are worse than hers

Haruna: Oh god. Everything she puts together is so flashy and bright you'd think she was there to regulate traffic. Completely ignores the themes and does whatever the fuck she wants and always ranks others high. You can have someone with a completely hideous outfit and she would still give them 5 stars. Always cheers on everyone else in the chat and that's also a reason why she does so well in the game. Her outfits might be a little too much but everyone loves her and that gives Haruna bonus points!!

over the past several hours i rewatched Sword Art Online and SAO 2.

(this time dubbed, last time i watched it subbed)

here are my thoughts:

-anyone who said the dub was bad is just wrong. Kirito's VA really shines in the more comedic or sweet moments (like when first meeting Yui), he reminds me of like a Peter Parker. and oh my lord, the breakdown by Suguha's VA was just a masterpiece. Still have chills from watching it.

-i have such a big appreciation for every character. This time it really shined through how good of characters Kirito, Asuna, and Suguha actually are.

Kirito's internal conflict throughout SAO2 is so good, grappling with their actions they needed to take in SAO to survive. and throughout all of it you can tell how much they truly loves their friends and family, and how kind hearted they really are. Asuna definitely fits into that role as well, being so ready to take care of Yui and so desperately wanting her to be safe and loved and cared for.

And oh my gosh Suguha. I remember people absolutely hated her arc because it is problematic, but the fact is, it's played entirely serious, her feelings arent taken as a joke. She has a genuine and real internal struggle for feeling things she feels she shouldnt, and how she feels those feelings arent reciprocated or cant be reciprocated, and having her heart broken twice by someone who she loves and someone who also does still genuinely love her. Its absolutely heartbreaking to watch.

Man, Sinon is still fantastic. She's still my absolute favorite, and I think she is one of the best characters in the show, and pretty much steals the show from her introduction. Her arc ties in so seamlessly with Kirito's and how they help eachother heal and grow is fantastic. Only complaint is we never got a scene of the rest of the Gals being jealous about the grenade hug she gave Kirito. After Kirito and Sinon nearly died, wouldve been some nice relief so you didnt feel like you yourself were dying.

-Speaking of, while there was definitely a ton of fanservice, the pseudo-harem aspect with the jokes were kinda cute, between characters seeing flirting happen around them, getting embarassed over it, its fun. Especially when people got jealous of Sinon flirting with Kirito over Excalibur. That part was very fun, since they did that infront of everyone else, almost like they were trying to get a rise out of them. Theyre not exactly the pinnacle of comedy, its definitely a trope, but theres something nostalgic about it that makes it kinda enjoyable.

-Speaking of the psuedo-harem, guys if all of you are constantly flirting with eachother (not just Kirito surprisingly, happens between the other girls frequently) and jealous of any affection with that, just start a polycule. You're a group of gamer girls playing MMOs together and all of you have slept in the same bed with eachother. Stop snipping at eachother and start dating eachother. Polyamory is pretty cool. Kirito and Asuna can still be the main duo and be the parents to Yui and Strea; but yall gotta work on the jealousy or just do what every other group of girl gamers does, polyamory. Lisbeth you should not be angrily drinking while watching Kirito and Asuna talk. (this is mostly a joke, im not actually saying they *have* to do a polycule, its more of a joke because of how tropey a lot of the flirting and jealousy is, and yknow, gay girls do polyamory, so dont take this part toooooo seriously.)

-Speaking of girls dating girls, the LGBT rep aint half bad. Argo canonically using both male and female pronouns is really cool! Most of the girls flirt with eachother a lot too, which is nice. Between the female avatar, the willingness to pretend to be a girl, the introversion, the desire to be an avatar in a virtual world more than irl, Kirito might be transgender. All good stuff here.

Overall, SAO is honestly way better than I remembered, even if some parts definitely show its age. You gotta piece it together a little bit with headcanons, but i do that with every show, nothing is perfect. Except Sinon. And a world where trans Kirito is canon. Those are perfect.

i first got familiarized with the members by watching the among us streams since you can put names to voices and stuff. i also read the tv tropes page (which i kinda dont recommend you look at BCUZ im pretty sure some information is inaccurate. like theres a thing about how miras vtuber avatar mimi is based on miku. which isnt true. trivia page should be accurate though). i think the rollercoaster tycoon 2 streams are also good to watch but maybe after the among us streams

clip compilations are always fun but they do tend to only pull from the same streams. they also tend to pull clips from the more popular members like wayne and scorpy and Sometimes holly. baaulp, gir, and mira stream often and theyre both really funny but people dont rly include them in clip comps so Like if you think theyre funny tune into them live. branch out

theres also stream highlights which are good for if you dont like sitting down for a long time to watch one thing. shoutout to Foster who releases highlights every friday BTW. he just released a highlight vid cutting down the 80 hour sonic subathon streams down to 10 hours (CRAZY)

ALSO ALSO they have a podcast (Where Do We Begin) which i like to listen to when i go for walks and stuff. they talk about whatever and its fuuuunny.... theyre on spotify and probably other podcast websites

OH ALSO ALSO. scorpy does vhs viewingz stream on the last thursday of every month iirc, those will always have a bunch of rtvs members in there ^__^ theyre also fun to watch when ur like eating or something. not really good for listening to in the bg because theyre video based

scorpy also does media share streams sometimes, people just send in music. these usually arent uploaded or available on youtube for copyright reasons but if you catch one live theyre nice. i think the first rtvs stream EVER that i caught live was a scorpy media share stream. ive found nice music in there

other than that im not sure so all i can give are stream recs.. miras neon white streams from a few months ago are good to listen to in the bg, gameclam is funny, faxmas streams are Also good esp the one from i think 2022? 2021? i dont remember tbh. UMM hollys psychonauts 1 and 2 streams, scorpys best buy stream, i think wayne has some roblox streams that are kinda funny. i dont remember the stream name but genius vs antichrist is so fucking funny. MIRAS INSCRYPTION STREAMS ALSOOOO i watched those i think. iirc the gnome commentary streams include explanations of a few inside jokes but dont quote me on that. moupi has a stream archive on youtube. ALSO ALSO ALSO scorpys wall-e speedrun. WAIT ONE MORE miras dbd streams theyre good and that reminded me of waynes dbd egg eating stream. which also reminded me of waynes ai cooking stream which is funny. edited this rq to add that i havent watched all of waynes sonic subathon streams (80 hours? are you crazy?) but the sonic krazy kult segment of one of the streams is SUCH a fun watch PLEASE watch it. its so funny and i dont think you require any prior knowledge on rtvs to enjoy it

we can talk about the fanfiction when i hear about them damn auths (or any other character tbh) or like any more information you have about atla au that ur thinking in ur head… im so curious…

like any other good "author" (and by author I mean person who really enjoys literature and has tons of story ideas but never actually writes them most of the time) i create AUS constantly, but this is one of the few that actually bounced around in my head for a while so i did come up with a few ideas merging the two universes and its' characters!

currently i'm working on making commie, and when i'm done with both auths i'll likely make individual posts for each extremist talking about their stories more in depth, since i only put a quick summary of them besides their first artworks. While that doesn't happen, here's some of the story plus what the other characters are up to!

first of all, i should say this story is pretty achronic as far as ATLA is concerned, the avatar was missing at some point, and he came back, but the fire nation is still kind of an evil dictatorship, so, this doesn't follow the canon events in the show, especially because i didn't watch TLOK. sorry.

when the avatar went missing, a lot of people believed that it exposed a major flaw in their system, as they are heavily dependant on the presence of the avatar as a peacemaker and diplomat, and unable to keep balance by themselves. identifying that as a problem, a group of people from all corners and backgrounds decided to come together as a group to essentially be their own avatar, and use their skills for the well being of the world. these are our "extremists", or like, proto-extremists, since we haven't gotten there yet.

so, the avatar returns, and most people forget why those extremists exist in the first place, the status quo is restored, but some people in that group still remain, firm on their beliefs that some day, they will be needed again.

one day, the avatar, which i currently settled on being jreg for lore accurate purposes, goes kind of off the rails. oh no! chaos ensues, and now it's up for the extremists, with that i-told-you-so shit eating grin to restore peace, and hopefully in the process remind people why relying solely on one person for everything isn't a very cool idea.

i think this story kind of keeps the spirit of the original, of destroying the status quo and making change through your own hands, but it's modified enough to fit the universe it's in. the coalition functions sort of like a white lotus society of sorts, and to join, you cannot have any other affiliation, especially not with any governing bodies.

speaking of the white lotus, i think it would be cool if they were the centrists? mostly because of the lack of color, but i can see if this uprooted freemason-like society felt threatened by a new and upcoming group who wants to change the system they've carefully build over the course of years and years. they probably would also not like the avatar (since, centrists), but the avatar could easily trick them into thinking that he and the extremists are allied so that both groups that hate them could pick each other off. i also thought of centrists as non benders, and since it's often shown in the show how skilled fighters can go toe-to-toe with benders, i don't think this would be unbalanced or an issue. they are, after all, a secret society with the finest of what the world has to offer.

as for the wackies, i was thinkin that they could be sub-bending/sub-element masters, since i think this nicely channels their more niche ideals and funky personalities into their powers! this concept i'm still sort of expanding (after all, i only just started putting the regular extremists on paper) but i've already had plenty of fun with some ideas:

Nazbol, a young member from the sun warriors, discovered early on his prowess with lightning. His purple clothes come from the blue of the lightning with the red of the flames. it's also a nice nod to the dragons, who are red and blue.

Transhumanism is a metalbender who channels his power mainly into a sort of mecha suit he pilots/lives in. he refuses to leave it, much to other people's shegrin.

Anmon is a bloodbender. his ability is shunned by many, he is hated as much as he is feared. he wants to use his power for the greater good, of course, but his power trips sometimes get in the way, with him believing he knows what's best for everyone.

Posadist is a combustionbender. he does not have any real backstory or motives, he just likes dolphins and explosions. (/j, i'm still working on this one.)

Anprim is a sandbender, he lives in the desert because technology can't catch him there, will hunt anyone that has anything more sophysticated than a torch or a pointy rock. (also /j but he would probably be sort of a weird hermit guy)

i dont know if this counts, but if we would put any nature-inclined ideology (like ecofash) they would definetly be plantbenders.

anyways, it's getting a tad bit late for me (almost 3am) and i'm pretty sure that's all i came up with either way. so i'll be wrapping this up now. i'll make sure to make more posts later on if i get any new ideas though! toodles :3

after watching the trailers of Aang/Katara playing/laughing... having fun.. I'm getting the same gaslighty feelings i got from zutaras who insist it was canon all along and that aang is a horrible abuser

. what with fandom telling me Aang will be serious when hes playing/laughing in trailers, or that Aang never had visions in the show when he DID. thats how he found TOPH.

or that sokka sexism being toned means hes going to be a bland perfect character when he's still a grumpy guss in the trailers .. like he ws in the show at the beginning. sozins comet isn't removed entirely, we literally see it in the trailer. the return of it is just going to be changed but its still use to wipe out the air nomads.

im so glad i don't rely on clickbait articles and actually watch trailers/ listen to the actual interviews that explain things that said Aang/Katara ave a hopefu; childsview of the world. .and Katara being less motherly is fine by me cause id rather see her be a kid anyway. and. the very idea this will be as bad as the movie is laughable the trailer blew that awful movie away in seconds. i saw that movie 2 weeks ago it was boring, trash... how anyone could think its better is no fan of atla.. isaidwhatisaid.

Jet shouldn't die... just some things off the top of my head. atlas a good show but its not... flawless. i acutally prefer sukki bonding over nonbending over sexism.. its feels sweet.. i dont really like how they got together and his sexism was very Western centric anyway.. i think people really blow the whole toned his sexism down out of proportion. half life alyx was *so* good and i dont think there's been a vr game to come close to how good it was and still is 2ish years later. i think half life 3 coming out with their new, not super expensive (~$500 please valve) headset would probably bend over and spank the other 5 billion standalone vr headsets coming out. half life 3 should *not* be only vr, fucking Obviously, but if it didnt have native vr support id be pretty upset because holy shit the end scene of hl:a ***you were HOLDING the fucking crowbar*** i need that for a 10-15 hour long campaign

hello. i just spent 10 minutes describing neosvr. i deleted all that because i realized, i want valve to buy neosvr and put it in steam. just, right in the client. the whole thing. share media with ur friends, have a home world u can do Whatever the Fuck you want with and custom avatars and whatever you Want. neosvr is in a weird spot and if valve just fucking swallowed them whole and rebranded it as a Steam Home thing id ascend into the 6th dimension. neosvr is so fucking cool.... it makes me very sad though because again its in a weird spot and im sure they'll figure it out but Eeeeee,,,

anyway as i was saying... neos but in steam .. u start ur Valve Deckard or whatever its called.. new shiny vr ... and you sign into your steam account and ur put into steamvr+neos. its some new home lobby, there's a desktop sitting somewhere that you can boot up and its just fucking. linux arm with kde. because that'd be insane. or u could set it up to stream your big beefy desktop (maybe a vr headset modeled sitting next to it u can physically put onto your head to turn on the streaming as long as ur pc is accessible on the network). but also you could go outside or maybe just open a menu and go into whatever public world and do social vr things and neosvr things. please. itd be so cool,,, all the deckard could run would be steam home 2.0 and game streaming but itd be So Cool.... kind of a tough sell to people without computers untill vr cloud streaming becomes viable but i think people with computers (already valve's main demographic lol) may consider it.

This morning I washed my bathroom floormats and scrubbed the whole floor. I also wiped down the crockpot I got from mom. For breakfast I made corned beef hash and oatmeal with apples.

For work I warmed up with bears, they are fun to draw. I worked on the Venus commission another hour and its coming along better than I thought it would. I was afraid I was borderline scamming the guy with how lazy it felt but it's actually taking some work. Then I worked on a couple of YCHs someone bought.

After lunch I prepared my crock pot to make the bone broth. I used about 8 hot wing bones I saved up and dumped then in there with a little vinegar and salt. The crock pot is old too, I found out it's from the 70s, apparently it came with the house. I didn't have much of an appetite but I made a pack of ramen for lunch fried up with some mixed veggies and onions. It was good but my tummy didn't like it so much, especially not with the yogurt I ate. I played the horse game a bit and was trying to solo a fishing event before a nice person came and joined me until it was complete.

While drawing today's request (which I hated), DV hit me up and we VCed for a little bit. We talked about friendships and relationships and life in general. A couple of his friends were there too. After the request I finished my first 'from life' art in VRchat and Im proud of it. Then I worked briefly on a cuck piece of my otter. I used my remaining work time to finish a version of my avatar with dog gear.

With work done I switched to Roblox horses. I played in call for a little bit but I left shortly after to decompress for the day. I played that for the next couple hours, doing a little training and goofing around. I send DS a goofy little video of me flexing after she asked me for strength. I only mention it because it was a small instance of letting my goofyness shine, I think often times I would avoid that. Then we called while she cleaned.

In bed we did puzzles. The crossword and connections were hard today. We read a chapter of Monster High where Cleo is being a total bitch. Then in KH2 I attempted the boss fight from yesterday but I'm too underleveled so I started grinding after she fell asleep.

I figured the bone broth would be done by now so I removed the bones and gave it a taste. It had color and an oilyness to it but it was a little bit bland and had a weird stinging aftertaste. I decided to put the bones back in and let it simmer overnight and see how it is then. I'm a little afraid to make a soup out of it however it turns out, almost like I've just made a concentrate thatll kill me.

Today Costar said "instead of trying to fix a friend's pain, ask how you can help them hold their sadness." Combining this with acceptance told me that I should be able to accept other people's pain as inevitable and something I can't "solve" as much as I want to help sometimes. I think the best thing I can ever do to "help" is to offer insight to what value the pain might hold and to ask the right questions to promote perspective. Other than that all I can do is listen and ensure that I'm here for them no matter what. Sometimes thats all people need.

Happy Halloween! It feels like October 2nd was just yesterday. This month went by crazy fast. Today I am dressed up as Joe from Bladerunner 2049, which basically is just a long black coat, brown pants, boots, and that bandage he wears during the "you look lonely, I can fix that" scene. I really like it. Idk it makes me feel sooo like, cool. Like my internal is now external. I really do feel like that movie and it's nice to listen to that kind of music and walk around with a "bloody" bandage on my nose and have my coat flare out behind me in the creeping winter cold.

I didn't manage to write my Shakespeare essay but that's okay because he extended the deadline. For some fuckin reason. I have to get that done by Thursday. So I'm not doing it today, and probably not tomorrow. Most likely the day of. Because that's how I roll. Oh and I;m in British writers class (obviously) HOLY FUCK how many fucking times can the people in my class reference Jane Eyre in one day?? it's literally not in the curriculum people are just teacher's pets. and freaks. Um anyway, I lost my train of thought lmao. But on another note As I was walking through campus I noticed literally NO ONE was dressed up until you got closer to the English building. lmao. Someone as their OC (probably), someone as Kobeni, someone as scarlet witch. And a really ugly guy in my class dressed as Dazai who looks more like an extreeeemely hungover and ugly version of him. Very sloppy. Do not approve.

I posted a new chapter of my fanfic which yayyy but I haven't gotten as many projected hits as I thought or a single comment which is odd because there's always one user who comments very enthusiastically. Eh, whatever. People have shit going on. ANd no one is going to be reading fanfic near Halloween. Other than me, of course, bc I am reading a longfic about Avatar bc Anthony got me back into it.

So anyway. This weekend. Me and Anthony went to SLC and stayed at Amy's. We ate ramen and hung out at Amy's house Thursday. It was really pleasant :) Friday we... uhhh I don't think we did much until we went to the FNAF movie. I could write a whole dissertation about how much I hated that movie, but all that to say, it was a huge let down. And no Markiplier! Sat we hung out with Amy and went to "witchfest" which was really fun and more like a farmer's market than a hallloweeen festival but still fun. Sorry for typos I'm being quiet. After that we got hotpot which was BUSSS. I'm getting better at talking to Amy but I'm not sure why. Sunday we literally did nothing but watch IT and eat In N Out. We got burritos and left yesterday.

Yesterday. Oh boy, yesterday. I walked into my apartment to go into my room and got stopped at the door by Priya, who gave me that -kayla-english-madeline-hubbart STARE and said

"HAnnah! We haven't seen you in so long!" "oh! I've been gone all weekend. HAhaha. For halloweekend. Hhaha." "ohhhh did you go to the parties down there?" "*scoffs for some reason* no, haha, not at all." "You should hang out sometime!" "okay :)" "no seriously, you should hangout sometime." "I want to!" "Okay!" "Okay!" which, okay, I can see what you're thinking. Hannah, she was being so nice and inviting you to hang out with them! You don't know how girls work. She said it like a threat, or at least it felt like one.

Anyway, I go into my room, tidy it a little, check to see if I can do my laundry (for the first fucking time in three weeks. It''s full). Take out my room trash. Shower. All the while, hearing them in the living room. I want to document what Jimena said because I seriously think she is the least self-aware, miserable person I fucking know. "People always think I'm bisexual. But Im straight. Straight latinaaaaa! but when I'm drunk, I'll seriously make out with anyone. Even girls." like. holy fuck. How does she not realize how actually fucking (and I don't use this work lightly) RETARDED she sounds. Also, Stephen got a girlfriend (fatJay, who is not fat at all and Jimena is a cunt for calling her that) and Jimena bought mini pickles and said "hey guys! this is how big Stephen's penis is!" Yeah okay bitch who led him on and was a completely fucking mess----- okay, ranting about her is cathartic but pissing me off. So basically, they were really annoying and sang star spangled banner at the top of their lungs on a karaoke machine from Five Below and burped like Hailey does, so I pledged not to come out of my room until everyone had gone to bed. Which would have been fine.

If not for the migraine.

Always the fucking migraine. I holed myself away in actual anguish, waiting for them to go to bed, all the while watching depressive tiktoks (I redownloaded it) of landscapes with Silent Hill audios n shit. and I can't express how much I was suffering and for how long. My suffering and my migraine were what I remember most about the night, despite the details I shared about my roommates. everyone went to bed at 3am. I darted out to get some water. And my chickpeas. Anthony came over and brought my leftover burrito. I broke down in his arms. I seriously felt like i had knives on the right side of my face. He tucked me in and I fell asleep. At 5:30 am. Had a dream where someone was drilling peoples faces and realized it was my rommates with the blender and woke up 15 minutes before my alarm at 11:15. Got dressed. Blade runner. Went to class.

well, that was depressing. *zooms in camera like a millennial*

On a lighter note, today is me and Anthony's second anniversary. I have no Idea what we're going to do for that tomorrow or for Halloween today, but I really like being blade runner. It's fun. I want to make a tiktok of me in the mountains and post it later.

I'm so glad I met Anthony. I love him more than I can express. I want to write about him later. I will.

thoughts on avatar 2: avatar for dads (i have many because its 3 hours long)

story is bad as expected but i had to see it. HOWEVER maybe it is nostalgia talking but i remember the 1st one looking absolutely incredible but this one... i think a marvel film looks similar now. like there were some scenes that were obviously showing off and better than anything else, buuuut it wasnt the whole thing. i did see it in 3d and i did get a headache during but i cannot tell if it was the film or just my fucked up reactions to barometric pressure.

HIGHLY recommend going in not remembering anything from the first one because then youre just like wtf the blue people dont have five fingers??? how many do they have??? PANDORA IS A MOON???

creature design was so fantastic, exactly why i came. dunkleosteus shark, turtle whale, many fun worms. so good. that being said it was really funny that the corals at night were doing the coral fluorescence under UV. 

water looked good, particularly when it was overcast and raining. but like not much to say there.

they made the sea people maori????? hello???? call me a hater but go farther with your alien cultures. i dotn know why i was surprised. 

i vividly remember from avatar 1 that after watching my parents were discussing the parallels in the narrative that i didnt even notice and really taught me about like. critically viewing film. but the parallels here were kinda funny. the whaling ship is whale shaped (which is so fucking obvious when it rolls over and they have water coming through cracks like its blowholes). whaling guy getting his arm ripped off by the whale whose flipper he cut.

the entire movie is a dad movie for dads. its all about dads. sick of dads by the end. do something else. 

i dont understand the whole arc with the human kid because like. he seems to be found family at the start but then at the end they act like its a revelation?!?!? what the fuck????

many questions about how the blue people work. why do the sea tribes and forest tribes speak the same language but have physically different adaptations. what. i think their head tails should be prehensile.

IT WAS SOOOO FUNNY when they killed the oldest son because the whole time i was like “they literally gave him no character wtf” and then when he died i wasnt sad it was just “oooooooh thats why they wrote him so poorly”

they really named the main son character noah while giving the other son a more alien name. shcoking.

i was so mad this movie had the same villain as the first and i was SOO mad when they saved him only to have him be the villain in the next one. BOOOOOO give us a better villain. i was like :O when he got choked to “death” and it just ruined it.

mechs were great i like the crabs one the best. the whole whale hunt scene was good, had good emotions. there was chinese or kanji on one of the machines and im unsure if that is because its supposed to be blade runner on earth or just because its a whaling ship????

PETTY PETTY point but when the chieftess of the water tribe is talking to her spirit whale she is doing space sign language with subtitles, no spoken dialogue, but shes mouthing the words in english?? that should have been in fantasy language.

so like.... they didn’t have avatars in this one? like its just lab blue people, normal blue people, and humans. theres like 2 scenes with avatars. why did they name it avatar. there arent avatars. you forgot the avatars. 

james cameron said put those blue bitches in the titanic. that being said it was fantastic visually.

i HOPE that they have sigourney weaver voicing a teen because it is the original consciousness of sigourney weaver (like how the reborn marine colonel or whatever the fuck his title is sounds like the original) because it is weird. weirder because of the romantic hints between her and spider. maybe cameron is just giving her the check here but i hope they have a reason for it.
