Kemudian datang dua tikus putih & hitam menggerogoti tali. Sementara di dasar sumur menunggu seekor ular besar. Di tengah kepanikan, di depan mata kita ada sarang lebah madu yang jinak lebahnya. Lalu jari kita mencelup dan merasakan madu yang begitu manis hingga lupa keadaan.

Imam Ghozali menjelaskan, “Singa melambangkan malaikat maut yang selalu dekat. Ular melambangkan kubur dan siksanya. Tikus putih & hitam bagaikan siang & malam yang selalu menggerogoti tali kehidupan kita (umur). Madu bagaikan dunia ini yang dengan segala kemanisannya; hanya sesaat, namun mengalihkan perhatian kita sehingga kita melupakan kematian.”

Imam Ghazali on time management...

❝Your time should not be without any structure, such that you occupy yourself arbitrarily with whatever comes along. Rather, you must take account of yourself and order your worship during the day and the night, assigning to each period of time an activity that must not be neglected nor replaced by another activity.

By this ordering of time, the blessing in time will show itself. A person who leaves himself without a plan as animals do, not knowing what he is to do at any given moment, will spend most of his time fruitlessly.

Your time is your life, and your life is your capital: by it you make your trade, and by it you will reach the eternal bounties in the proximity of Allah. Every single breath of yours is a priceless jewel, because it is irreplaceable; once it is gone, there is no return for it. So do not be like fools who rejoice each day as their wealth increases while their lives decrease. What good is there in wealth that increases while one’s lifespan decreases?

Do not rejoice except in an increase of knowledge or an increase of good works. Truly they are your two friends who will accompany you in your grave, when your spouse, your wealth, your children, and your friends will remain behind.❞

Anas (ر) said that the Prophet (ص) said, “Whoever fasts the first Friday of Muharram, Allah will forgive his preceding sins, and whoever fasts three days of Muharram–Thursday, Friday, and Saturday–Allah will write for him worship and prayers for nine-hundred years.” . Sayyida A`yesha Umm al-Mu'minin (ر) narrated: Prophet Muhammad (ص)  said, "Whoever fasts the first ten days of Muharram to `Ashura (10th Muharram) will inherit the Jannat al-Firdaws." . #ImamGhazali (q) said the sacred months are preferred for fasting: Dhu 'l-Qi`dah, Dhu 'l-Hijjah, Muharram, and Rajab. Fasting is definitely desirable on certain meritorious days...that are found in every year after Ramadan: `Arafah [9th Dhu 'l-Hijjah], `Ashura [10th Muharram], the first ten days of Dhu 'l-Hijjah and Muharram. La ilaha illallah wahdahu la syarika lahu, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu wa huwa ‘ala kulli syay-in qadri, alhamdulillah wa subhanallah wa la ilaha illallah wallahu akbar, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah‘ . . kemudian dia berkata ‘Ya Allah, ampunilah aku’ atau dia memanjatkan doa, hal tersebut (istigfar maupun doa itu) akan dikabulkan. Kemudian jika dia berwudhu lalu mendirikan shalat, shalatnya tersebut akan diterima (di sisi Allah).” (Hadits shahih; riwayat Al-Bukhari, Abu Daud, At-Tirmidzi, An-Nasa’i, dan Ibnu Majah; lihat Shahih At-Targhib wa At-Tarhib, 1:149) . Artinya: Tiada sesembahan yang berhak disembah selain Allah, hanya Dia, tiada sekutu bagi-Nya, milik-Nya segala kerajaan dan milik-Nya segala pujian, dan Dia Mahakuasa atas segala sesuatu; segala puji hanya bagi Allah, Mahasuci Allah, tiada sesembahan yang berhak disembah selain Allah, Mahabesar Allah, tiada daya dan upaya melainkan dengan pertolongan Allah.Syarah hadits (Fathul Bari li Ibni Hajar, 4:146): . Oleh sebab itu, keutamaan yang disebutkan dalam hadits tersebut hanya diperuntukkan bagi orang yang (terbangun tengah malam) kemudian dia bersuara dalam bentuk berzikir kepada Allah Ta’ala. Keutamaan tersebut terkumpul pada diri seseorang yang terbiasa berzikir dan dia memang suka berzikir. . . Yuuk biasakan dzikir setiap terbangun tengah malam,, semoga Allah mudahkan! Wallahu a'lam .
