Anyway, just putting it out there, if you're trying to shame me by accusing me of *checks notes* enjoying parts of the DreamSMP, you're gonna have to try much harder, I have absolutely no shame about that. I also enjoyed homestuck at its peak, enjoyed Steven Universe, enjoyed the parts of Voltron I saw (s1-2 iirc? I just lost track of the rest of it), and probably enjoyed at least one other "problematic" media property that I can't think of rn. Good Omens s1 was not queerbaiting, I am in fact very done with fandom wank disguised as "discourse", and I think it's perfectly fine to enjoy exploring stuff in fiction that would be reprehensible irl, including things like incest, and I think young fandom's obsession with this shit is in fact an abnormal response encouraged by TERFs and other right-wing ideologies.

This quote from Goncharov (1973) in relation to soukoku has been haunting me from before I even got to that scene in the anime (the full thing is: Katya- Of course we're in love, that's why I tried to shoot you/ Goncharov- If we really were in love you wouldn't have missed). Violence as a tool for communicating emotions, especially love and hatred, especially love and hatred makes me go feral- how could I not think of the iconic quote that says that katya's miss was a sign of a lack of love/a fake love when chuuya didn't miss? Just... losing it over here.
