I saw an ask in this blog earlier about not wanting to watch romantic movies with family for fear of being called childish, and it was tagged with "infantilisation". This made me seriously reflect on a) my understanding of what infantilisation actually is, and b) the fact that this is literally what my family keep on repeatedly telling me that I'm just not old enough to fully understand these concepts (this was especially prominent after we watched Love Actually together). After that convo, I searched up the average age allos start to experience romantic attraction, and the median apparently is nearby 6-8 years old. I am nowhere near to being that young- it's not an issue of me being childish, it's just my family assuming that there's no way a young adult could not want romance without said young adult being immature and childish.
I kind of went away from the original point of this ask, so I'll circle back to it now- it's insane how often people consider lack of romantic attraction to be a negative, immature, and childish thing that you can just "grow out of". Absolute BS. I never realised that infantilisation was this prominent, and definitely didn't notice it in my own life until now.
Man, some (most) allos really need to get their shit together sometimes and stop being so wrapped up in their own little worlds.

One by one, the souls awaken.
[Ame is the first, standing frozen in fear. Noticing other souls, a smile spreads onto their face.] New friends! Do you wanna play with me?
[Raz is the second, he is on his back leaning on his arm with his hand reaching out] Please I just wanna go ho-huh? Where am I? Where's Asgore? Where did you all come from?
[Kay is the third, clutching their chest and gasping for breath off of instinct alone] I can't believe he actually went through with it...
[Fourth is Addi, who comes to in a kneeling position.] I'm... still.. alive...? Why didn't he- ...humans? What's going on?!
[Fifth was Gaius, immediately running around, in the other SOULs faces.] Come on, we gotta go, the CORE is melting down! There was an accident! Come on! Come... Wait a minute... [He slows down, realizing these are other humans.] Who ARE you guys?
[Moss is the sixth, facedown on the ground, one arm raised above them as if reaching for something. They groan as they get up and turn around.] Can you STOP throwing- is this hell?

So small you barely notice
But he does. For he knows more than all.
And so. He falls.
And Falls
And Falls
Until he falls into a sea of foam
Made for creation
For imagination
With what little power he has
Perhaps....
He can create a home.
All he needs
Is a key
