there are two modes to simon. handsy and handsy.

So often when a character is the “comic relief”, they start off with dynamic personalities and then lose them as the season go on (looking at you Cat Valentine and Steve Palchuk), but not Soren

No, Soren somehow manages to jump between being comic relief and genuinely serious and caring seamlessly. And it’s all the same character, too! He doesn’t feel like he’s switching personalities they’re just other facets of who he is and it’s amazing!!!

Post war clones living in apartments and such, one day some group of shinies (they will forever be shinies because they were some of the ones that never went to war they are designated vod’ika forever lol also fix the fast aging issue kk) is sitting in an apartment hanging out watching movies or something when someone knocks on their door. They open it up to a crying woman and they’re all ‘Omfg’ and she asks them to take care of something in her apartment because she’s scared. These vod’ike who have never gone to war are ready for this. They can handle this. If their ori’vod could punch droids and snub their noses at Sith, they can handle a domestic dispute for a neighbor.

It’s a spider. She’s scared of spiders and was trying to relax when she found one above her bed. They dispatch the intruder and comfort her with awkward shoulder pats and telling her she’s brave for asking for help.

They have finally done it. They found a vod’ika who’s more vod’ika than them. They’re keeping her. Does she know how to use the instant pot? It keeps scaring them into changing dinner plans. She can help with that.

so i've been thinking about this

panel for awhile and, it's not even the first time Batman has threatened to beat Joker up with the precise intention of putting him in a full body cast but not kill him.

You know, that threat actually takes a rather maticulous amount of mental planning and physical control. Gettint someone within 3 inches of death but not kill them takes conscious read on the opponent's body language cues, their physical capacity and their thresholds, their highest pain point before their body gives in, and technically a rather comprehensive intimate knowledge on their internal organs and their medical history. Knowing how to bring someone close to collapse but not straight up flatline is actually a rather intricate controlled process that is subject to each individual's physical state at the moment, especially for the fact that we see Batman getting really really really close to the killing line and very much flirting with it, but never crossing it.

And honestly the presence of that threat —which he keeps telling Joker— is so bizarre and fascinating to me. Pray tell Bruce, how much time have you exactly spent mapping out Joker's body and cataloguing each and every point of it inside and out, enough that would enable you to read his minute physical responses in order to know when to pull a punch and how much?

Right so I'm rewatching MCD yet again and I'm on ep. 100 and I'm like really thinking about it now but uhhhh Laurance was Absolutely concussed going into season 2.

That man got dropped to the ground twice in one episode by the back end of a sword and then had to turn around, hunt down his best friend, travel to a different realm, fight his bff a Second time, help hold off Zane, AND drag Aphmau through the portal back to the overworld. I Know his head is throbbinggggg lmao.
