Remember white women that didn't want to support the BLM protests but are protesting now.

We will be listening to Black and indigenous folks and following their lead first and foremost. They have far more experience here than you.

We will not be cosplaying handmaid's tale or vikings. BLM and Hong Kong protestors taught you what to wear to be safe in a protest and you need protection from teargas, rubber bullets, and facial recognition.

We will not be telling people that's we're going to a protest. All electronic devices stay at home and phones will be in airplane mode, Bluetooth off, in a Faraday bag or Faraday cage.

We will be writing the phone number of a friend or family member we trust and the number for the national lawyer's guild on our body where the cops won't see it.

We will not be saying shit like "You thought BLM protests were bad." That's hella invalidating to the work Black people did for their rights.

We will not be touching the random pallets of bricks that'll magical appear. We will not look at them. We will not go near them. We will pretend like they don't exist.

We will be bringing first aid kits and plenty of water.

We will stay safe.

If we are arrested we are only going to say "I'm utilizing my right to remain silent without my lawyer present." And NOTHING ELSE. DON'T SAY A GODDAMN WORD UNTIL YOUR LAWYER GET THERE. I DON'T CARE IF THEY ASK YOUR FAVORITE ICE CREAM FLAVOR. DON'T SAY A GODDAMN WORD.

The best way you can treat your neurodivergent friends is give them space to rant about their special interest/hyperfixation and ask genuine questions about it.

I've never had space to share my special interest. My friends either think I'm either being pretentious or they think "Oh that's smart people stuff. There's no way you know about that. If you really knew about that you'd be a tenured professor at Harvard." (And I'm not going to share what it is on here because I don't want to seem pretentious)

But my friend's younger sibling invited me to their discord server. And I'm like "how funny would it be if i made this your special interest?", and they were like "I made a channel for you to rant about your special interest" and I was joking but if they want to make room for me to rant? Imma take it.

And they're like genuinely interested. Asking questions. Telling me how cool it is. And how is this teenager able to give me more room to share my special interest and make me feel genuinely validated in my special interest more than any adult has?

If you love you neurodivergent friends. Simply give them space to share their special interest. Dude, it's not that hard and you might end up learning something cool. (Okay, to be fair when I get too excited about shit I have no volume control so I get aggressively loud which is impressive because I'm already ridiculously loud even when I'm not excited).

I know I already made a post about this. But ICWA is LITERALLY being challenged by a white couple that wants to adopt indigenous children to erase their culture and Christianize them. The tribe, whom has a say in who can take their children, is like "Nah, we don't want our youth Christianized like you tride last time"

And the lawyer that's helping the white couple try to overturn ICWA (so that they can erase the cultures of indigenous children) is doing it pro-bono (which means he's not charging the couple anything).

AND that lawyer is a big time lawyer whose clients are usually oil and gas industries. He's literally fighting for indigenous children to be ripped from their tribes and culture so there's less indigenous people to protest big oil destroying their sacred land.

Blue/purple lips and fingernails is a symptom of low oxygen in lighter skin tones.

In darker skin tones you're looking for grey or white lips and fingernails. Other places where this may be not evidence is the tongue and gums.

Figured since everyone gets taught what low oxygen looks like on lighter skin. Everyone should know what it looks like on dark skin too.

Blood for Blood

The <Duskwatch Saberguard>, along with Casimir LeCheval and Ambassador Seilune Astrande, delved into the fel corrupted barrow dens of Jaedenar to rescue Nouvel Auburge LeCheval, who had been held captive for the past few months. 

But the young librarian was not the first person to bear witness to the horrors that lie deep within these caverns. A year prior, Seilune and Loviattar had found themselves victims of the same villainous group led by a felborne named Dvoraak, who had preyed upon them during their time within the agency. Returning to this place was undoubtedly difficult for the two of them and Adheles, who had been part of the original rescue team, and traumatic feelings and memories resurfaced, particularly for the diplomat. Now in charge of and associated with new organizations, evil has continued to follow them and threaten to destroy those they hold dear.

Tensions continued to rise as the group delved deeper into the dens, stumbling upon a chamber littered with cages and a single sarcophagus. As each of the elves peered into the cages in hopes of finding the lost Nouvel, they were either met with a captured Kaldorei from a group of Ashenvale sentinels or with something much more sinister.

Demonic shades lunged out from two of the cages, only seen by Seilune and Ladrova who each cried out in horror. They were convinced that they saw them possess the bodies of their allies, leaving the others puzzled as to what trickery was afoot. Soon, the others found themselves spellbound. But rather than become manic and afraid, they quickly turned on each other. Arguments broke out, pitting the elves against each other that quickly became violent. Weapons were drawn, spells were thrown, and hurtful words were exchanged. Ardelle, Leyloria, and Korlith tried desperately to rouse the others back to their senses, but it was to no avail. But with a thunderous crash from Loviattar, the effect wore off and left everyone alone drowning in immense guilt for the things they did and said.

As the group continued their descent, following winding staircases and crossing narrow bridges, they entered a room that was all too familiar to Loviattar, Seilune, and Adheles. It was a dungeon, the same one where Seilune was subjected to psychological and physical torture. The same one where Loviattar had lost her life. Standing before them among the stench of death and decay was Nouvel. They acted peculiar, speaking in a fashion that was atypical of them, and the others wondered if it truly was the Nouvel they all knew and loved. When Loviattar attempted to speak to Nouvel and rouse them to their senses, she was met with hostility from both of the LeCheval siblings in the form of sneers and sorcery. A fiery bolt left the warlock’s hand and streaked through the darkness, crashing into the sentinel and sending her flying backwards and leaving her unconscious. Seilune rushed over to tend to her friend, worried that history might be repeating itself. But as she did, a dark presence made itself known...

The sound of jingling chains echoed throughout the chamber and a dark mist slithered across the floor, dispersing to reveal a monstrosity. What was once a Shal’dorei man was now a felborne, his body altered with chains that could be manipulated at his command. With their lives threatened, the Saberguard and friends moved to thwart their enemy as he advanced. A flurry of chains lashed out at the elves, leaving only few unscathed from the heavy onslaught. But even as their bodies were battered and bruised, their determination never wavered. Attack after attack and spell after spell was launched towards the felborne, slicing into the empty spaces between the coiled chains that were wrapped around his body. Through the elves’ relentless courage and bravery, the felborne met his demise. Now this place would serve as his tomb, sealed with the terrible memories of what had happened there and the stench of his rotting corpse.

With their threat now put to rest and with everyone relatively unscathed, they were finally able to breath a sigh of relief and rejoice in the safe return of Nouvel. Tender moments were shared with them, particularly between them and their sister, Casimir, who had been restlessly searching for her lost sibling. But while the others reveled in their victory, Adheles and Seilune tended to Loviattar who, aside from faint singing, was alive and well. 

Well...sort of. 

The three of them recalled the last time they were there and the tragedy that had fallen upon them. Seilune found solace in knowing history had not repeated itself, with nobody having met the same ill fate as Loviattar had, but Adheles reminded her that more of Dvoraak’s minions were out there and that this was just the beginning.

As the others prepared to leave, Seilune excused herself for a moment. She approached the block where she, Director Harleena, and Silan Reaux were chained up together a year prior, slipping into a private vigil. Dried pools of blood stained the ground, serving as the only reminders of the hell that had transpired. And with the Director missing and Silan recently deceased, they were all that remained of two people Seilune had held most dear. After several moments, she conjured two, glowing bouquets of leyblossoms and placed one at two of the pools of blood. “Quel’vala thonos,” she murmured, bowing her head. “We didn’t yield.”

Once Seilune had finished paying her respects, she, Loviattar, and Adheles shared a warm embrace, thanking the stars above that they had each other. Through the good times and the bad, the three of them had been at each other’s side, and this time had been no different. The painful memories that had accumulated over the past year would never leave them, but it was because of them that they had made it this far. Loviattar reminded them that nothing is truly lost if it kept within the heart, and those words comforted Seilune and Adheles as they remembered the people they had lost. With newfound strength to face whatever horrors await them, the three elves departed Jaedenar and rendezvoused with the others at Ladrova’s vessel, promising never to tell a soul about Loviattar’s moment of tenderness.

Yazoo City, Mississippi, birthplace of Zig Ziglar and Jerry Clower, and somewhere you can find super-fresh, delicious-looking and perfectly breaded frog legs. 🐸 I know your next question... why the hell were you in Yazoo City in the first place? I have answers. During my month-long solo road trip in July, a guy found himself in New Orleans post @tales_of_the_cocktail with some time on his hands and a thirst for adventure. At some point on the road trip, I NEEDED to go to Memphis, TN to both ride around the streets of White Haven and West Memphis bumping one of my favorite rappers Tommy Wright III right where he grew up and made his music, and secondly to visit the site in which MLK was assassinated, being that I’d been to his birth house and grave on Sweet Auburn in ATL a week before. En route to Graceland, I passed through Jackson, MS and stayed a night playing “Jackson” by Johnny Cash at least 10 times. It was magical. However, when I jumped back on the highway, towards Memphis, I saw signs for Yazoo City! Now, if you’re not big on self-development like I am, you won’t know who Zig Ziglar was, and evening if you are, you’d have to listen very carefully, repeatedly and for hours to catch that although Zig lived the majority of his life after success in Dallas, he grew up in a place called Yazoo City, and often made jokes about how remote a place it was. He’d often ask very large audiences if anyone had ever been and no one ever raised their hands... Zig is most definitely in my top ten list of heros next to my own mother, and I just had to go. So I went! I spent the night in a boutique hotel in their colorful and almost completely abandoned downtown area, and ate at two of three local restaurants, one being P-Reauxs, a southern crawfish joint. As authentic as one could ever imagine a place like this being, it was a large shack complete with chicken wire doors and a school bus modified to be part of the backyard dining room, uneven floors throughout and a galaxy of country decor and knick-knacks. I was in heaven. I politely asked to speak with the owner about taking photos, and they joyously agreed. It was hard for them to believe that I was from Miami... While this information may technically be new, government infiltration is not. As mentioned in the video, COINTELPRO is a perfect historical example of the insidious downfall of so many leftist grassroots organizations, and guess what? We've made posts about COINTELPRO in the past!

This information isn't made to scare you though, but to empower us all to come together even stronger, even smarter, even more diligently. We owe it to ourselves, to our communities, and to our predecessors to do at least that much. As working class citizens, we must protect one another. Do not get distracted by the divisions those in power wish to ensue.
