Hi, Im Venus/Dizziebunnies, I am a former radqueer whom is part of the big 3 (anti contact) plus several other paras.

I'm making this post to help educate on what radqueer means, why its extremely harmful and why ex radqueers frequently describe it as a cult.

Please do not read this post/take caution when reading if you are triggered by any of the following:

abuse, zoophilia, pedophilia, necrophilia, grooming, racism, cults, nazis, blackface, ableism, slurs, intersexism, transphobia.

What is a radqueer?

A radqueer is someone who is pro-transid, (often) pro-contact, anti-getting help, pro-M.U.D (medically unrecognized disorder/basically "coining" mental illnesses and sometimes physical health issues), pro-proship.

They may also go by other "fancy" labels that all mean the same thing (an example would be kandiqueer, bloodqueer, raverqueer, sinqueer)

I am a former radqueer who went by the users @\transm4sc, @\puppywife and @\sc3n3-v4mp1r3, if you knew someone who went by the names tearzah/dreamalgia/KAngel or Thesus, that was me.

I am making this post to help spread awareness and knowledge about this literal cult.

What do transid and radqueer mean?

Transid is short for Trans Identity, things like transautistic, trace, transharmful and tranhateful, all that gross things.

Radqueer stands for Radical Queer, aka people who are rad-para, transid, anti therapy and pro encouraging delusions. (Please dont encourage delusions, it can easily make it so the delusional person harms themself or others. -sombody who had very bad delusions back as a radqueer.)

Ok, but why are they bad?

Radqueers are bad as they are ableist, pro-abuse, racist, intersexist, anti-recovery and pro-contact, often encouraging abuse, rape, necrophilia, blackface, incest/"consang" and pedophilia.

You may have heard of the terms "transabled" and "transracial", both of these are stolen terms, transabled was stolen from pwBIID and transracial was stolen from adoptees who were adopted into a family of another race. (a.e vietnamese child adopted into a jamaican family, white child adopted into japanese family, etc)

Because of radqueers, these terms are seen as bad and gross, making it so multiple pwBIID and adoptees no longer feel comfortable using these terms.

Many radqueers are openly pro-contact, even going as far as sharing "tutorials" on how to sexually arouse an animal, groom your sibling into an incestual "relationship", and sharing illegal content of minors and animals in sexual contexts. (Bear with me, im desperately trying to remain unbanned.. (⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠) )

Radqueers are also extremely intersexist, believing that somebeing can "transition" into being intersex, many "transintersex" beings often saying the h slur, and speaking over actually intersex people.

They believe that with many things, such as ADHD, ASD, BPD, DID, OSDD, Narcolepsy and many others, I'm simply listing things I saw most frequently "identified as" by radqueers

They are also incredibly transphobic, as they openly consider being transgender a "transid", I have genuinely seen multiple radqueers claim that /srs

Don't even get me started on the "xenoautism" (basically like xenogenders but with autism???? No your autism cannot "feel/look like" a rainbow sparkle cat.)

Also, many radqueers openly romanticize/fetishize serial killers, I had the displeasure of having been mutuals with someone who was transplural and "split" a jeffery dhamer introject who refused to seperate from source, they CHOSE to 'split off' jeffery dhamer and then used an irl photo of him as a faceclaim, go by the same name, and constantly make cruel, humourless "jokes" about his source.

Its unfortunately not suprising that, that jeffery dhamers collective was shortly after exposed for emotionally abusing and gaslighting their partner at the time as well as pressure several other MINOR BODIED systems into erps, sending explicit photos and receiving explicit photos of that collective.

Why do people call it a cult?

Because, if compared to the BITE model, it checks off every box aside from "monetary"

As a former radqueer, all of the above is things you see constantly in the radqueer community, you couldn't go one post without seeing any of these.

Are there any alternative terms for *insert transid*?

Short answer, yes and no, it depends what transid it is.

For things like transbody (like transhorned, transcattail, transblood) I'd suggest looking into aldernic labels!

For things like transage, look into chronosian.

However for things liked transmental illness and trace? No, and those labels aren't valid (unless its the original meaning of transracial.)

I'm sure if you dig around, theres some other non-problematic alternatives, or you could coin your own non-problematic alternative.

Another way I think IHS is better than MP that I don't think anyone else has mentioned yet is the comedy. You guys certainly do a far more competent job at placing comic relief at the right and appropriate moments. Moments like Adamant's flashback to how her head got stuck in a meerkat hole and Quiet sang despite the former being annoyed. Or when Fade the squire freaks out like a little cat when Diamond gives him a good swipe! You guys do it well and it doesn't interfere with the comic's tone.

To be fair, it's very easy to be funnier than MP. It had no idea what it was doing for drama, and comedy is WAY harder to write. Which is why I'll never write a comedy LOL I know my limits. But thank you! I ask for all kinds of input on it, so it's good to see that people are enjoying it for what it is. Using humor sparingly in something like this helps to break the tension. Which is really all I need it to be.

I know comedy is subjective but there's still basic rules to follow, based on context (and geography). So it's really important to establish early on what kind of mood you're going for. So it's not jarring when there's humor later. This is like. Basic shit about genres. It's not forbidden knowledge, this is just stuff people know without realizing, so I expect people in the industry to know this better than anyone.

I know some of you might be thinking "What humor?". First of all, exactly. Second, I'm talking about A) Hover's ableist jokes at Nothing and Quickmane. B) Hover's near-constant deflection every time she opens her stupid mouth in episode 3. C) Shit like after Feather makes his big anime protagonist speech in episode 6, Nothing is all "How aboot we start with getting some sleep tonight before fixing the whole world?" like not only was that not funny, but it was literally after this kid broke down about his family being killed and hating Pride Law, like read the room Nothing, jfc. D) In episode 7 Powerstrike being like "I know she did (love me). Only Sunce knows why." And she laughs about it, like was that meant to be funny? Was it tongue in cheek? I still don't know. But all I could think about is how abusive she was to her daughter right before she disappeared. So whether it was meant to be funny, or her coming to some sort of realization about herself, it doesn't matter because she's trying to find humor in her being an abusive fuckin parent while her kid still cares about her.

Then there's Ghost in episode 10, where we presumably hear (from Ghost) Tangle's last sobs of desperation before getting mercilessly killed by someone he trusted. Whether or not you feel Fire deserved psychological torture or not isn't really the point. The point is MP thought that after Nothing gets the shit beaten out of her, and tells Fire to kill her, it was a good time to lighten the mood. Which is just disturbing. Or as someone tried telling me "It's a dark comedy, it's supposed to be disturbing". Like yeah, I know what dark comedy is. Some of my favorite movies are dark comedies. But that's the big difference here isn't it? MP isn't a dark comedy, it's barely a comprehensive story. I know what it was trying to do in the scene, and it didn't work due to the scenes leading up to it, I dunno what else to tell you.

It's fine if you find it funny, I find lots of unfunny things funny. I still think this is funny. I could honestly go on about this scene, it pisses me off in a way other scenes don't, but I've already rambled too much.

Same anon that sent the long post and I have another one I'm sorry. Thank you for answering. I'm glad I explained myself okay, I was worried I was just going to sound entitled and rude. I just wanted to say that I was going to mention the Off Menu podcast but I decided to keep it Eddie related since that was my ultimate point and to mention it would require more explaining. Hence this long message. Basically yes I am one of those people that felt that way and I kept that to myself because everyone loved it. I don't want to ignite anything here about it because over time I have seen people mention this since it happened, but it was the picky eater comment for me. I know the internet tends to have this mindset lately that everything everyone says, is said with the worst possible intension. Like you say you like cats you must HATE dogs and you're being cancelled now for it. So I tried not to read into it, I really did. But he brought it up again in another interview after and then another just recently and to me that was him doubling down on his stance so I think it's fair for me to say he has thought about what he said and still agrees with it. Let's be real for a sec, I'm a picky eater. So of course this looks like I'm just butthurt and taking it personally. But I'm autistic. I can't help it. I have a brother that has it worse than me, he SUFFERS with ARFID. Yes, I know that Joseph probably wasn't including people like me or him in his statement. He doesn't need to preference everything he says with "obviously I'm not talking about people with disabilities, eating disorders etc" because he didn't indicate any disdain for those kinds of people specifically and no one should immediately be taking what he said in a negative light like that and assuming he's an asshole. However, again my own personal views, thoughts and feelings. People like myself subconsciously think before I speak "If I say this, could it offend or hurt anyone? Will it perpetuate and or make worse an already existing issue?" Of course everyone has moments where they don't realize what they're saying could be harmful. But, idk. I will also add that taking disabilities out of the equation he still failed to consider social classes, wealth and food availability. Would he tell an adult that grew up without access to fresh vegetables to just get over it and eat them because it annoys him that they won't? I don't claim to know. But my gut says yes.

I think it started off as his sense of humor, and maybe it was an in-joke with his friends, but as was discussed earlier, he seems to be 'leaning in' to the persona more.

I have experience with food allergies, and I always take food preferences seriously, because unfortunately for some folks it's life and death.

This is a pretty common tactic even outside of syscourse. Exclusionists of all kinds love masking exclusionist ideals underneath progressive language. TERFs will call trans women sexist. When the isms and phobias didn't work on me, they started going bigger.
