Another major FHH Spoiler
I just read Dao Feng’s final moment and now i am crying ugly…. Ms Chloe Gong, how dare you did this to me 😭 ive been imagine for Orion and Rosalind’s wedding with Dao Feng walking Rosalind down the aisle LIKE HOW DARE YOU GIVING ME FALSE HOPE IN THE FOUL LADY FORTUNE 😭
Cant we at least hv parent that Rosalind choose freely instead of K word him… my heart is breaking because Dao Feng is the only one who has been there for Rosalind ever since Celia had choose her side with the Communist… he is the only one who really saw her as a person, rather than a tool to be used… her father only saw her as unwanted child that caused his wife’s death. The Scarlet Gang disposed her because of her betrayal. Even Celia and Juliette is keeping secret about Juliette’s survival… Heck, we even ignore the fact that Lord Cai is within the rank of the Nationalist, but never care for her because she is only a weapon for the Nationalist. A prized asset for them… before Orion and Alisa came into picture, it was only Dao Feng, only Dao Feng that truly appreciates her as a person and now she is losing someone who truly appreciate her from the beginning?
Someone who reply to her supposed real ‘father’ letter by telling him that she is doing good, that she is improving, that Mr Lang should be proud of Rosalind when in reality, Mr Lang never asked anything about Rosalind’s wellbeing? Dao Feng even said that he is proud of her and that Mr Lang should be proud of her too…
“I was not protecting Fortune, I was protecting Lang Shalin”
Im sorry but everything hurts… to think that Rosalind lose the only parent figure she had ever had in her life, and she only got to experience it for a couple of years… makes my heart really broken…

I was going through my old S2 reactions and man I'm sad about lutteo again
I think for the most part as far as I can tell, the general consensus is dislike over here, but I was really rooting for them and it just makes me so sad that the drama ruined that for me! their cute moments were so strong I loved them a lot but after finishing the show and looking back it just wasn't healthy at all and that just makes me sad
Idk I just, as I've said before, I feel the same way about them as I do with quite a lot of TV relationships, like Cory and Topanga or Maddie and Diggie - in theory it's cute and the scene writing for their happy moments is good, but it just isn't sustainable or healthy for either of them

[ cw: death mention / strangulation mention / stabbing mention / blood mention / self-sacrifice / codependency mention in tags / ]
I think a lot about how common it is for Raph to be the one to have direct focus put on him when Leo gets into all his near death experiences.
Like, when Leo is thrown off a building, it’s Raph who’s right there jumping after him, not even thinking about the consequences to himself when he does. When Leo almost gets skewered by the Krang, Raph’s right there to take the blow and send Leo to safety without a second thought. When Leo’s being strangled to near death, it’s a Krangified Raph doing the job, doing exactly what Raph would never, ever want to do. When Leo is telling Casey Jr to close the portal, it’s Raph who tries desperately to convince Leo otherwise.
Likewise, Leo is consistently very single minded when Raph gets forcibly separated from them. Both when in the sewers and by the Krang, Leo is dead set on finding Raph first and foremost.
I also think it’s interesting that during each of Leo’s near death experiences, the lightheartedness of his words during them goes directly hand in hand with both how close Raph is to him physically and how much danger Raph is also in in that moment. From a literal “I told you so” as Leo’s falling away from Raph to a soft joke about how “hero moves” are Raph’s style - both of these are on the more morbidly carefree side and both of these notably take Leo farther away from Raph and, in turn, have Raph not in immediate danger.
On the other side of things is the apology from Leo, heedless of the danger he himself is in as he seriously and genuinely speaks to a Krangified Raph face to face. Then there’s Leo’s freezing and desperation as Raph takes a hit meant for him and sends just Leo to safety, leaving Raph himself behind. Both of these involve much closer proximity and Raph being directly harmed - these together make Leo much more vulnerable in his words and actions, something not even the threat of death can make him.
These two care about each other so much, and they’re way too much alike for their own good.
