I hate having to get rid of friends. I love making friends and I love being social, I love having my own group of friends that I can talk with.
But the ones that constantly want to shove me aside and don’t let me get a word in make me upset. If you’re going to someone for advice, that doesn’t mean to ignore that advice even if you don’t agree with it.
It irritates me so much when someone wants to talk to you but treats you as a place holder because someone else isn’t talking to them.
Do you actually see me as a being or am I just something to use when the people that also don’t want to talk to you are trying to take a mental health break?
Please. I thought everyone was going to treat friends better in this group. I guess not.
But that’s fine. I’ll find another group that will be even better.

We’re on a world tour (like beyonces renaissance tour) and it’s opening night in London. Charles being with Arthur Pierre and kika and their reaction + them being in the pit. Also, Charles and our oldest daughter coming out to dance on stage like how blue Ivy did with bey. And the grids’ reactions + other celebrities being there for opening night!!!😅❤️
What happened to “hello”? “How are you?” “My name is”? I’m kidding. ANYWAY, sorry it took me so long so I really hope you liked it and I am so sorry if you didn’t. Since you said “oldest daughter”, Charles and Y/N have 3 kids.
World Tour
Pairing: Charles Leclerc x Singer! Reader
Summary: Y/N starts her world tour in London and kicks off the tour with a huge surprise
Warning: spelling and grammatical errors
A/N: mix of social media and written fic, because of the ages of the kids, we could make it so charles and Y/N got married at 18 and started their family at 19 so charles is still 26, OR married at 21, family at 22 so he’s 29, completely up to you. So this could take place in 2027 or 2024, it doesn’t matter. Also, her performance photos/video outfits are not consistent, sadly.
Y/N was backstage doing her makeup when her daughter, Juliana, who everyone calls ‘Jules’, walks in with a hairbrush in her hand
“Mami, Can you brush my hair?” Jules asked. Y/N turned to her and smiled.
“Sure, baby. How many knots are in your hair?” Y/N asked, taking the brush from Juliana’s hand
“A lot, I can’t get them out.” Jules said. Y/N got a detangling spray from her vanity to spray in her daughter’s hair.
“It should be easier to get it out now. You excited to dance with me, princesa?” Y/N asked.
“I’m nervous. What if I mess up the routine to ‘Arranca’ and I get booed?” Jules asked. Y/N spun her around so they were facing each other.
“Mi amor, you won’t get booed. Besides, you are 7 years old, no one expects you to be perfect. And guess what, you are still going to sing a song with me.” Y/N said.
“Can we sing ‘como la flor’, mami?” Jules asked and Y/N smiled.
“Any song you want, baby.” Y/N said and kissed her forehead.
Charles was sitting with his 4 year old son, Santiago, who’s nickname is “Santi”, his brother Arthur, Pierre, and Kika.
“Where’s sissy?” Santi asked.
“She’s with your maman, mon coeur.” Charles replied.
“I can’t believe you brought him to the concert, Charles.” Arthur said.
“It would be unfair to leave him in the hotel room with Dot’s (Dorothea) nanny while Jules gets to be here with us.” Charles said.
“I think it’s cute that Charles brought Santi.” Kika said. “How old is Dot now by the way?”
“She is 8 months old now.” Charles said and Kika cooed.
“You took him to the bathroom, right?” Pierre asked,
“Of course I did, I’m not an idiot, mate.” Charles said.
“Why is Jules with Y/N?” Arthur asked.
“I Don’t know, Jules asked if she could go backstage with Y/N and Y/N said she was okay with it.” Charles said.
“Yeah, she had the right idea, do you see how packed it is?” Kika asked. Charles stood up, holding Santi’s hand the entire time.
“Yeah, my Y/N has a lot of fans from all over the world.” Charles commented the lights turned off and the crowd started screaming, Charles saw Santi put his hands over his ears so he got out Santi’s headphones from his backpack and put them on him, carrying him so he will be able to see his mom.
Y/N came out on stage with her first performance outfit.
“Ah, she looks so good!” Kika fangirled.
“Yeah, she does.” Charles smiled fondly.
“How we doing tonight, London?” Y/N asked the crowd and they cheered. “Wow, I can’t believe I’m starting my world tour here. It seems insane to me but it’s also the same weekend as the British Grand Prix so of course it makes sense to start here.” The crowd cheered, clearly having an overlap of F1 fans and Y/N fans. “If you have been a fan of mine for years and have been to my concerts before, hi, it’s so nice to have you come back. If you’re a long term fan but haven’t been to my concert, I am so glad that you are finally able to come. Lastly, if you’re a new fan or your sibling, bestie, partner, child, or even parent dragged you here tonight, welcome! You are going to have a fun time, I promise.” Y/N said and the soundboard person started the instrumental track of her song ‘Fulanito’
“If y’all know this song, sing along, mis amores!” Y/N said. “Que manera, como él consigue de mí lo que quería, quedé partía desde la primera, haciendo lo que no hace cualquiera, y no sale tan bien…” Y/N started singing. Her backup dancers joined her on stage for the performance and they finished that song. There was a ton of applause. “All right, before we start this next song, I’m pretty sure everyone knows I’m married.” Y/N said, putting her hand up to show off the ring Charles bought her once he started making good money in Formula 1 and the crowd cheered. “We have a little family, 3 children to be exact, and my daughter’s dream is to be a performer like me. So everyone clap your hands together for my daughter, Juliana!”
“Sissy!” Santi said, perking his head up.
“Yeah, It’s You’re sister, Santi.” Charles said, they all clapped and Charles saw Jules walk on stage and hugged her mom before standing next to one of the dancers before the music of ‘Arranca’ started playing, Jules was following the dance exactly and she looked like she was having a great time. Charles took out his phone to record his little girl dancing with his wife, when the song ended, Jules hugged Y/N and Y/N squatted down to give Jules’s a kiss on her forehead.
“Give it up for my daughter, everyone! Before my baby goes, she wanted to sing a song with me so I gotta do it.” Y/N sat down on the edge of the stage, Jules following her and the soundboard guy started playing the music of “como la flor” by Selena Quintanilla. Charles took photos of that too.
The concert ended an hour and a half later.
“Hey guys, thank you for coming with me.” Charles told Pierre and Kika, carrying Santi who is sleeping.
“No problem, we had a fun time.” Pierre said.
“Yes! Please ask Y/N if she’ll let me borrow the outfit she wore when she sung Sin Pijama, it’s so cute.” Kika said. Charles laughed.
“Sure Kika, I’ll ask her.” Charles said. Pierre and Kika left and Charles walked with Arthur backstage. When they entered, they saw Jules practicing her dance.
“Papi!” Jules said, hugging Charles. “Did you like my dance? I practiced with Daniela (dancer).”
“You were amazing, sweetie, but call me papa.” Charles said. Jules let go,
“I like papi better.” Jules said before hugging Arthur. “Tio, you liked how I sung?”
“You did really well, and it’s oncle.” Arthur said.
“Fine, oncle.” Jules said and she sat down on the couch. Y/N came out in short and a hoodie.
“Muñeco, Arturito, is Santi sleeping?” Y/N asked.
“Yeah, He’s a little tired, but he was dancing to most of your set, you were amazing out there, Mon coeur.” Charles said, kissing her.
“Yes, you were great, didn’t know you were such a great dancer.” Arthur said.
“Yeah, i took classes when I was younger. Let’s go back to the hotel so we could Santi in bed.” Y/N said, rubbing Santi’s back.
“Yeah, Let’s go.” Charles said.
They go to their hotel, Arthur goes to a different room, charles Charles enters their shared hotel room to get Santi ready for bed while Y/N went to the nanny’s hotel room to get Dot. When Y/N enters their hotel room, Jules and Santi are in their pajamas, he’s sleeping and she’s brushing her teeth.
“Mami, Can we go to iHop tomorrow?” Jules asked.
“Do we have time for breakfast before going to your race?” Y/N asked Charles while putting Dot in her portable crib.
“Yeah we have time, we justa have to wake up early.” Charles said.
“I’m okay with that.” Jules said, she got into bed and fell asleep.
“Thank you for coming to my concert tonight.” Y/N said.
“Yeah, Pierre and Kika loved it, she loved your last outfit by the way, she wants to borrow it by the way.” Charles said, changing into his pajamas
“Yeah, she can borrow it after the tour.” Y/N said
“I am so proud of you, you know. We’re both in a really good place in our careers” Charles said.
“Thank you, i love you.” Y/N said.
“I love you too.” Charles said, kissing Y/N.

Day 2 - Painland Week
Day 2 of Painland Week 2024: August 5th - August 11th by @painlandweek
Prompt: Myths / Legends

Edwin stopped writing mid-word - which, in hindsight, should have been the first evidence that something was wrong, if Charles hadn’t been distracted - and he asked:
“Sorry, wait a tick, you said you are trying to retrieve a lost sword from a lake, and the sword’s name is?”
“Excalibur, yes,” finished the client.
Edwin tapped the pen over his notebook twice, not even pretending to go back to taking notes - second evidence - and threw the universal ‘closet, now’ look at Charles. For his part, Charles had been listening to the conversation like it was something happening inside a bubble, or on the television, something he wasn’t a part of. His brain had been stuck on a very different train of thought ever since the client entered their office, because the first thing Charles’ mind supplied him with was ‘wow, he’s hot,’ immediately followed by ‘uh, that’s new, since when do I find random boys hot’ and ‘wait, does that mean I can finally be not straight and return Edwin’s feelings?’ - all in all, very confusing thoughts to have in the middle of a potential case.
He did follow Edwin to the closet, though, because it was muscle memory to follow Edwin anywhere without question.
“So what do you think?” Edwin asked, “a curse?”
“It could be, if the missing sword is cursed that would explain why he can’t find it in the lake,” Charles replied, trying to cut through the haze enough to form a sensible thought.
Edwin raised his eyebrows in confusion. It was unusual for them to not be on the same wavelength, they rarely needed to explain themselves further during conversations on almost any topic. It made Charles feel like he had failed some kind of test. “Mr. Rowland, the reading assignments are mandatory to every student.”
“What are you talking about, Charles? There is no sword.”
‘What?’ Charles didn’t say, not eager to repeat the experience.
Edwin apparently could see right through his desperation, because he sighed with that ever-present hint of fondness and explained:
“This man thinks he is Arthur Pendragon, the once and future King of Britain, on a quest to find his missing sword Excalibur. There is absolutely no way that it is true, hence the hypothesis that he might be cursed. It is not unheard of for ghosts to develop mental illnesses, but it usually involves more rage and screaming, thinking you are the long lost King of Britain seems too specific for that.”
Taking a breath he didn’t really need, Charles focused back to the present to catch up with Edwin’s reasoning. “I think we should play along, if he has been cursed, there has to be a reason, maybe he will lead us to the artefact, or the person who cast the spell on him.”
“That is a brilliant idea, Charles,” Edwin agreed with a smile, more to tell him that they were back on the same track than anything. It sent that shiver up his spine that happened every time Edwin looked proud of him.
“We have decided to take your case, sir Pendragon,” Edwin declared as they returned to the office.
“Thank you, my kind subjects,” Arthur replied, and Charles, who was now in control of his mental faculties, had to fight to suppress a snort. He pushed all the ‘men are hot’ thoughts in one of those carefully locked boxes he had started collecting after Port Townsend to consider at a later date, or maybe never.

The hike to the lake where the magic sword was supposed to be was incredibly nice.
“We should do this more often, mate. I mean, mirror travel is cool and all, but look at the view!” He pointed to the mountains in the distance, the clear sky, and he felt excited like that one time he went camping with his friends when he was fifteen - before those same “friends” ended up murdering him.
Edwin put a comforting hand on his shoulder. “That is a good idea, perhaps we could take a small vacation after this case is closed.”
It was nice to see Edwin like that, more open, more relaxed. Not having to fear Death separating them, or Hell coming back to take him had done wonders in improving his well-being, which made a lot of sense if Charles was honest. Now that he had seen Hell himself, he had no idea how Edwin had kept it together as well as he did for over thirty years after he escaped.
“I will have you two executed if you do not find my sword right now,” the client declared.
Charles was quick to bow, not trusting Edwin’s bedside manners enough. “We are sorry, sire, we promise we are doing everything we can.”

They looked everywhere on the lake and around it, Edwin even tried different spells to reveal hidden magic, but they found nothing.
“There must be something we are missing, he does not have the object binding the curse on his person, and I can’t find anything of worth in this place,” Edwin said, moving a bit further from where Arthur was looking longingly at the middle of the lake.
“You know that sentence you wanted to write on the wall of the office? ‘When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth’, maybe he really is what he says.”
Edwin looked a very balanced mix between flustered and impressed. “While I appreciate you remembering my favourite quote, I think if King Arthur existed, we would have heard about it before.”
“Yeah, you’re probably right,” Charles conceded.
While they were going over their notes again, trying to notice something they might have overlooked, or a different spell they could use, an eerie figure appeared next to their client. It was a very pale man, all dressed in black.
The next moment, they were sprinting towards him at full speed.
“Who are you?” asked Edwin, while Charles retrieved his brand new cricket bat from the pocket universe he carried in his backpack.
The man, or being, or whatever he was, smirked, which was an odder sight than if he had manifested eyes all over his body, or a flaming wall behind him. “You must be the ghost detectives my sister is so fond of.”
“I beg your pardon?”
“I am Dream of the Endless, I apologise for the inconvenience my escapee might have caused you,” he continued, ignoring Edwin’s disbelief.
“Dream of the Endless,” Charles repeated under his breath, trying to make sense of the words. “So your sister, who is fond of us is…”
“Death,” he said, matter-of-factly. “She wishes you would stay and say hi, sometimes. For now, I thank you for your service.”
He turned to keep talking to Arthur then, and after a while the two of them disappeared in a whirlwind of sand, leaving Charles and Edwin to gape at the empty space where they had been.
“Well that was an experience,” said Charles. “So he was, what? A dream?”
“What a thought, to stop and say hi to Death,” Edwin exhaled at the same time. He was smiling his relaxed smile again, and Charles found his eyes stuck on the curve of his lips, the hint of tongue and teeth peeking from them.
“So, you fancied the once and future king?” the lips moved to form the words, before going back to that beautiful smile.
Only when the meaning registered, Charles blinked. “What? No, of course, I-” he started, before remembering that they did promise each other no more lies, “maybe a little. Didn’t you? He looked like, I don’t know, the perfect example of man, the one you would expect to see on an advertisement for the entire species?”
Edwin pursed his lips, in that expression he made when he was trying not to laugh. “I can admit that he was objectively good looking, but, you know, blond hair and blue eyes is not really my type.”
He said it in his prim tone, the same way he would say ‘pass me that green book on supernatural diseases’, but there was no mistaking the flirtatious glint in his eyes.
Charles stopped. For a moment, it almost seemed like Edwin knew something that he didn’t even fully know himself, something carefully hidden in one of those boxes “to consider at a later date or maybe never” that he had been collecting. But flirting was like a second nature to him, so he couldn’t help but replying:
“Yeah, and what is your type?”
“Let me see,” Edwin said, slowly, carefully, stepping closer with every word. “Tall, athletic, big dark eyes, unruly hair,” he was right in front of him now, “likes to throw himself into danger to protect others, what else? Insanely clever and perceptive. Shall I continue?”
Charles took a deep breath, his eyes were fixed on the small space between them. “I think I should tell you something.”
If it was on anyone else, the fake surprised expression would have fooled him, but he knew Edwin’s eyes and smiles better than his own. He had to struggle to remain serious, even if he appreciated it for what it was: a way to give him the time to set the pace of the conversation and to take the lead.
“I have never allowed myself to think about it before, you know, with my dad being the way he was, but lately I have been noticing that I am attracted to guys as well. At first it was only one specific guy, but-” he stopped, cringing at the way it sounded, “What I mean is, I didn’t say anything because it was something too important, I had to be sure, and it’s easier to admit you can like someone when you have nothing to lose from it.”
The flirty smile turned into a soft one as Edwin said:
“You have every right to take your time and experiment, you don’t have to say anything, I apologise if-”
Charles stopped him very effectively by cupping his face with his hands. “I don’t want to experiment with anyone else, I think I’ve locked up these feelings for long enough.”
Edwin’s eyes widened, he looked like every ounce of confidence he had mustered up until then had left his body. “As much as I pride myself in my detective abilities, I need you to please say it out loud at least once. It’s been quite difficult for me to believe it, even when you were not at all subtle.”
“I like you,” Charles said immediately, wanting to erase the insecurity from his face. “I haven’t stopped thinking about your confession and what it could mean for our future, and I think I am finally ready to take you out on an official date, if you still want that.”
It was Edwin who leaned in first after that, but like it happened many other times, they met in the middle, instantly on the same wavelength again.
Distantly, almost completely hidden behind the all-encompassing sensation of Edwin holding him and their lips pressed together, Charles thought about how absurd it was that he had to thank the fucking King of Britain for finally managing to have this conversation. Edwin would tease him for all eternity.

synopsis: when veritas feels lost in his research, you’re always there for support.

this was very self-indulgent in honor of me being almost done building my ratio hehe (i am, in fact, not as almost done as i thought)

veritas ratio could be seen as stubborn by some, and they would be right. the man has eight doctoral degrees and never seemed to quit anything (see the eight leaves on his head that represent his doctorates). he also never voiced his struggles. he was always too unwilling to admit he needed help, and that was something he told you he’d work on- and in his defense, he has gotten better. but old habits die hard, most notably seen in veritas’ office. one of his students had asked him a question that deeply puzzled the man, which was rare, but still happened. and now he’s cooped up in his office trying to seek answers. a gentle knock was heard at his office door. his head turned so quickly it could have given him whiplash, and he almost cringed at his own reaction.
“come in,” he said.
and in you came. you brought him his favorite snacks, drinks, a blanket, and honestly, veritas almost teared up at the gesture despite his arrogant facade.
“wow, you look like shit. you need a break,” you said.
“such a nice and endearing way to address your partner. you almost forgot the 'hi, veritas! how are you?' anyway, I can’t. i’m so close to finding the answer, and i cannot stop when i’m so close,” he argued.
“Okay, and have you seen how exhausted you are?” you counterargued.
That shut veritas up, and while he wasn’t typically up for debates, he was thankful you won this time. and like a moth to a flame, veritas ratio found himself wanting to be in you embrace, in your warm and tender embrace. You spent the night cuddling in his office and just reassuring kind and encouraging words to each other. veritas may act like a cocky and arrogant son of a bitch, but he was such a sweet and tender man, something you wouldn’t expect of him to be.

June 12, 2024 -
All members, except for Yoongi (who meets them later), reunite to congratulate Jin on his military discharge. We got really nice, clear photos of Jk! We haven’t gotten to see much of him during his time of service so this was such a treat. He looks healthy and great!
And I can’t get over how buff and broad Tae has gotten. Wow!
Upon Jin's discharge, I observed JK's demeanor, which appeared quite revealing. In my opinion, it's often the subtle details that carry the most weight. There were numerous minute details during this moment, and Taekook's body language provided valuable insights. When JK approached the group, he had the option to position himself anywhere, next to any other member. Yet, he deliberately chose to stand next to Tae.
Jungkook could have hugged Jin from where he was, but instead, he chose to reach out and touch Tae before going around him to do so. Initially, he seemed to be aiming for Tae's waist, but then quickly switched to placing his hand on Tae's shoulder.

As Jk goes to hug Jin, he holds his wrist out for Tae to take. Tae isn’t holding his arm at this point, so Jk could’ve moved that arm to hug Jin with both arms, but he kept it in Tae’s reach as he goes to hug Jin.
These recent photos are incredibly heartwarming. Despite their faces being partly covered by masks, you can still see their genuine smiles and laughter. Knowing that they are happy makes me happy as well. Observing their body language and the overall atmosphere, it seems likely that they have had the chance to meet each other since starting their military service. Their contentment brings me a sense of peace. In one of the photos, Tae gently holds onto Jk's arm and whispers something to him, which prompts Jk to break into a lovely smile with crinkled eyes.

Osaka Sougo: Yes, I was so excited that I ended up researching a lot of things.
Nikaido Yamato: He ordered all sorts of books. From travel magazines to Australian history.
Osaka Sougo: I thought I would appreciate the trip more if I understood its historical background... Yamato-san, you were also studying common English conversation phrases at the dorm so you could use them during the trip, right?
Nikaido Yamato: Just a little bit. I can speak English pretty well, but if you don’t use it you’ll forget it.
Momo: Having two capable little juniors is so reassuring!

Momo: I’ve got four colors for each member, ones in Yamato’s and Sougo’s colors, as well as Yuki’s and mine!
Nikaido Yamato: You even brought one in Yuki-san’s color.
Momo: They were sold in packs of two and I felt bad leaving Yuki back home, so I brought his.
Momo: Here, the green one for Yamato and purple for Sougo!
Osaka Sougo: Thank you very much.
Nikaido Yamato: Wow, I remember blowing into the hole at the tip of the stick as a kid, how nostalgic.
Osaka Sougo: It’s been so long since I did something like this. It’s kind of exciting.

Villain's Festival 2024 - Roger Barel
This is one of two parts, though the second part's obtained through ranking.
As usual, can’t guarantee 100% accuracy on this
Roger: I’ll just get to the point. Pick me.
Following Victor’s explanation of the contest for the bonus,
That was the first thing Roger said to me when he came to my room.
Kate: The rule was that I needed to pick the one that stole my heart, you know?
Roger: Yeah. But knowing you, you’re gonna feel guilty about who you didn’t choose, right?
I’m gonna use the bonus money to study curses. One of these days, it’ll help the cursed ones.
You shouldn’t feel guilty about giving the bonus to one guy if something comes out of it.
Kate: Got it. I'll consider it.
Roger: Only consider? Not gonna agree to it?
Kate: If I agree to it now, I would be doing a disservice to everyone else.
I’ll take what you said into consideration, but the winner’s supposed to be the one that steals my heart.
I couldn’t just bend the rules because of guilt.
When I told Roger about my decision to be fair to everyone, he laughed.
Roger: Oh…? So the lil’ lady wants me to steal your heart?
Kate: T-that’s not what I meant! I just want to follow the rules!
Roger: Getting defensive just makes you sound all the more suspicious, ya know?
Kate: I’m not getting defensive…!
Roger: Sure, sure. Then I’ll follow the rules and steal your heart fair and square.
Better prepare yourself.

The next morning, as I was getting ready for the day, a knock sounded on my door.
Kate: Yes? Come in.
When I opened the door while wondering who was on the other side, maids filed into my room one after another.
They brought in a dress and accessories, and began to dress me up.
Kate: Huh? Um, I didn’t request this, so why…
The maids stopped me in my confused state and finished in a flash.
Kate: Wow…
I looked elegant and beautiful in the mirror, just like a noble lady.
(I went along with it, but these clothes look luxurious…?)

Roger: Oh, you got dressed.
Kate: Roger?!
While I was thinking about this and that, Roger appeared behind me.
The maids left with smiles on their faces when they saw Roger.
Roger: I don’t know much about fashion so I told the store clerk what ya looked like and had him pick stuff out…
Roger blatantly looks at me up and down.
Roger: Mm, nice, isn’t it?
Kate: Had it picked out…So you prepared this for me, Roger? But why?
Roger: What’d I say? I’m gonna steal your heart.
Kate: Is that so… Thank you.
Roger: So, how is it?
Kate: It’s lovely! It’s comfortable to wear…Though I’m sorry that you have to do all this.
Roger: As long as you like it…then it’s worth it? Though I’m curious about this.
He points at my chest.
Kate: Wha…! Where are you looking?
Roger: No, I’m not staring at your breasts! The neckline! Look at the design here.
Kate: You’re right…The design around the neckline is rather conservative.
Roger: I heard they left it bare like that for a brooch.
I just so “happened” to forgot to buy some stuff, so let’s go shopping together.
I’m sure Roger’s lying about that.

“Wow! That’s a really good offer, Ae!” the joy over Lucie’s voice made you giggle. You just arrived at your shared apartment to deliver her your good news. As expected, she’s very much happy for you.
She poured you a glass of water then slid it to your side and you thanked her shortly. Both of you settled at the small dining area to talk about what just happened a while ago. Even when you’re already on your way back to your apartment, you felt like you were dreaming. You left the house with a small hope of getting the job and now you’re already hired.
“Ohh,” her lips formed ‘o’ amused at what you just said.
“The new president must be very generous then? I worked there for a year and a half! I’ve never had that kind of offer.” she continued blabbering excitedly.
You nod your head and the face of the handsome man that interviewed you flashes through your mind.
“He’s very handsome too.” you added that made Lucie smile teasingly. She giggled and you end up chuckling as well.
“Someone have a crush!” she taunts you and you are quick to defend yourself.
“No, I don’t! That’s my number one rule. Not to catch feelings with my boss or officemate.”
She pursed her lips, “Then he can be my crush! What do you think, Ae? Should I quit my job and apply there again?” her eyes looked dreamy when she stared at nowhere, daydreaming.
“You’re crazy, Lucie. You already have a nice job.” and you stood up to start cleaning around the table so you can start cooking for dinner.
She stayed seated while watching you with so much joy in her eyes. You can tell that she’s very happy for you and its unexplainable to have this kind of friendship. It’s been a while since you felt like this.
“But my boss is not a hottie.” she added that made you chuckle while shaking your head lightly.
She then started talking about something else while you start cooking your dinner. She rants about one of her colleagues and you listen to her attentively. After cooking, you two enjoys the food together. You can’t remember how and when you two started clicking this good, but you are really happy.
“Your phone’s vibrating, Ae.” your eyes darted at the left corner of the kitchen where you left your phone.
“Ohh,” you mumbled as you look over the email sent from the boss' secretary. She informs you about the things you needed to know since you will start on monday already.
“What is it?” Lucie asks curiously while putting away the cleaned dishes. Her eyes stays on you, checking your expression.
“They emailed me about my work for monday. And also,” your eyes trailed at the bottom part of the email where some details not involving your work descriptions were typed.
“Also?” Lucie sounds excited.
“The requirements I need so they can arrange the new apartment the company will provide for me.” your tone sounded small. Lucie’s eyes grew and she was cheering about the good news.
“That’s so nice! Where is it located? Will it be close to your workplace?” she struts closer to you, because she’s done already with the dishes.
A pout made it to your lips. “I don’t want to leave you here.” your tone sounded so defeated.
Lucie was the one that accepted you during your lowest times. She took you in and showed care over you despite being a total stranger to each other. Now, she means so much to you and you’ll feel so lonely if you get separated from her.
“Come with me! I’m sure the place will be spacious enough for the both of us.” you walked closer and tugged her hand, giving her a show of your puppy eyes.
Lucie stared at you for a while and chuckled. “Sure! When will we start packing?”
Your eyes grew big in so much delight as you two started jumping around like crazy girls.
“I’m so excited!” you exclaimed happily.
Nobody will believe if you told them how hopeless and miserable you are when you started your day. And now, it felt like everything’s falling in their right places. Finally, things are getting better and you feel like you can start again. This time, you will do better and focus on yourself.
“We’ll be expecting your presence in the meeting tomorrow, Mr. Park.” the person on the other line tries hard not to sound too demanding. He can feel his breath hitching, his heart pouding and the back of his head sweating.
Sunghoon remained silent for a while before he sighs, “All right.” he shortly replies and he can almost hear the sigh of relief from the other man. Not because he agrees on coming to meet him, but because he didn’t made the mafia boss upset.
Sunghoon drops the call and rests his back over his swivel chair. Moments later, he heard the door of his office burst open, followed by steps from more than one people.
“M-Miss, Mr. Park strictly ordered not to accept any visitor! Miss!” he opened his eyes and watch how a girl wearing a puffy pink jacket, paired with a tube and mini skirt walks inside his office. Behind her was his secretary looking so worried and scared of the consequences she might face.
“Mr. P-Park I tried stopping her but—”
“Shut up!”
Sunghoon sighs and dismissed his secretary. She bowed, clearly terrified after she was screamed at. The girl rolled her eyes as she glances back at Sunghoon.
“What are you doing here, Luna?” he asks and plays with his pen. He stared at her with no emotion over his eyes, bored and unamused with her unannounced visit.
She clenched her fist while holding her small Hermes bag. “You didn’t show up last night at the party.” she looked so upset and anger ooze from her eyes.
Sunghoon remained the same, unbothered. He kept playing on his pen and then tilts his head a little, staring dead at her.
“Why would I?”
His response made her even more angry. She hates how he ditched her last night. She hates that he seems unbothered about it. She hates that he’s treating her this way when clearly she doesn’t deserve this. And she really hates that despite his rude attitude towards her, she still want him.
“Because you are my fiance.” she confidently stated and kept her chin up at him.
Sunghoon scoffs without humor and it made her nibble over her lower lip. Insulted, that’s what the bitter feeling that he’s giving to her at the moment.
“No, I’m not. I never agreed to it.” he sighed, getting bored of this conversation.
“Your Father promised my family that he will—”
“My father’s words are his and that’s out of my concern. Leave me out of it because I have no intention of getting involve with you or even,” he trailed hise eyes from her face down to her feet. “marry you.” he continued that felt like a straight stab of a knife to her heart.
“Sunghoon!”
“You should go. I’m pretty busy.” he dismissed her like nothing.
Her eyes teared up, “You can’t keep doing this! My Father will not let you mistreat me this way! You’re putting both of our families in a hard position!”
“If you’re not planning to leave, then I will.” he stood up, towering over her figure. She kept her glares at him, tears starting to stream down her pretty face.
When he was about to walk pass her, she grabbed his arm.
“Stop hoping for that girl because she’s not here.”
Sunghoon clenched his jaw before slowly facing her direction. The darkness in his eyes sent shivers to Luna’s system. Her hand slowly retrieved out of fear. The atmosphere felt heavy and suffocating, she knew he was pissed and she’s scared.
“Don’t ever touch me.” he muttered sternly before walking away and after he left the room, Luna manages to finally breath.
Fear slowly drained off of her and now she’s pissed again over him. But most of all, she’s mad at that girl Sunghoon’s obsessing on. She couldn’t wait to meet her face to face so she can kill her herself. She’s the main reason why he couldn’t see her love for him.
“This will be your office. Let me know if you need something else.” your eyes carefully roamed around the spacious office you are taken to.
It looked so simple yet cozy. You have a private space for yourself so it was just perfect. Tho, you couldn’t feel a little suspicious and curious as to why everything about this company is just... favorable to you. A side of you are glad that finally, you have a job again, but the other part of you are feeling so warry of the situation. It felt like you managed to get all of these so easily. The unknown thought kept living at the back of your mind and the worry of something heavy awaiting is somehow haunting you.
“Aelia?” you snapped back to reality when she calls your name softly after noticing that you are silent for a while.
“Is there something wrong? Did you not like it? We can try to check the other office beside this—” you quickly stops her and smiled.
“This is perfect! Thank you so much, I’m just overwhelmed.” her eyes scanned your face, like checking if you’re really saying the truth.
“Are you sure? The office beside this is vacant and more spacious.” she stated.
You smiled even wider, “This is already enough for me, thank you. Besides, I’m just new to this company. I should earn my position first.”
She was caught off-guard when you said that and suddenly realized that maybe she’s overdoing things. The boss did personally asked her to take good care of you and to make sure you have everything that you need. Even if she’s a little confused and curious why the boss is so fond of you, she refrain from sticking her nose into it. After-all, Jake Sim won’t really like it whenever someone else gets in between. Working for him for years already gave her those knowledge.
“O-Okay! Your place is already ready as well. You can move to it right away as you please.”
The delight on your eyes are obvious as you thanked her right away, flashing those pretty smile.
“U-Uhm, can I ask something?” you looked hesitant, but Jake’s secretary gave you her all attention.
“Can my friend move in with me?” you’re a little embarrassed to even ask it to her. They’ve been very good to you and it worries you that they might take this request differently.
To your surprise, she smiled.
“I will ask the boss about it and get back to you, is that okay?”
You nodded your head and thanked her for it. She left you afterwards since she still have a lot of things to do and also so you can look around your office building too. You are having a great time actually. Just thinking about this new opportunity in your life gives you so much hope and happiness.
“Mr. Sim?” his secretary answered his call.
Jake’s currently at the lobby of the airport that owned by Sunghoon, waiting for his flight. He lazily flips the pages of the magazine he randomly picked from the small table beside him.
“Did she arrived already? What does she think of her office?” he asks right away.
Normally, new employees doesn’t get an office all for herself. They have cubicles meant for them, but Jake wants you to be very comfortable as much as possible. After-all, your future man now owns that company you’re working in. He just handed Jake the check last night and he was very delighted about it. It was a very good deal even if his friend cursed him nonstop.
Jake chuckles at the memory.
“Yes, sir. I made sure I prepared everything that she needs.”
“Good. Remember what I asked you to do, all right?” he reminds her.
”Noted, Sir.”
He was about to end the call when she talks again. “Mr. Sim, I have something to ask.”
“What is it?”
“Ms. Aelia asked me if she can take her friend when she moves to her new place?”
Jake pursed his lips and tilts his head over to the side. “Is it a guy friend or a girl?”
It took a while before she responds.
“She didn’t really mention it, Sir.”
He took his time to reply and just sighs. Ni-ki’s been investigating you right after they found you. He did mentioned that you had a boyfriend, but he said that you ended it with him as he had seen your ex-boyfriend fooling around with some other girls.
Ni-ki also did mentioned that you didn’t have many friends. Also distant with your parents for some unknown reason and now living independently.
“Okay, you can ask her if its a girl or a boy. If its a girl, she can do it. If its a boy, don’t allow her.” he says calmly.
‘Don’t let her move in with a male friend or else his life will be in grave danger once his dear friend found out about it.’ Jake thought to himself.
“Noted, Mr. Sim.”
“Okay, that’s all. I just called to know if she settled in well.”
“C-Can I ask something a little personal, Sir?”
Jake tilts his head and hand unconsciously taps over the magazine after what he heard. He doesn’t really like when people he isn’t close with steps over his line of boundary. But since he just received a big check, he’s in a little good mood.
“What?”
“Do y-you perhaps like Ms. Aelia?”
Jake pursed his lips and almost laugh out loud. He couldn’t believe he’s being asked with this question. But he couldn’t really blame her for misunderstanding his actions. She probably have an impression of him being cold and distant with his employees. Then suddenly he’s been doing so much favor for this new hired.
“No.” he sighs, “I don’t want to be killed by Park Sunghoon.” he whispers under his breath that he’s sure she missed.
“Let’s just say she’s a very important person for my friend so I’m doing him a very big favor.” he added.
“Okay, Sir. Sorry for asking.”
Jake didn’t say anything else and just bid good bye with her. He ended the call and stared at his phone for a while.
He knew how much you mean to Sunghoon and so he’s just trying to help him. His friend went through a lot of things just to find you, now that he did. He needs to keep you safe until Sunghoon’s done with what he’s planning. After that, he will have to do something for you and him to meet.
Jake smirks, couldn’t help but to feel so excited for what’s about to unfold in the future. His eyes caught the big screen when it flashes some of the pilots from the airport and a smirk spreads across his face when Sunghoon’s face flashes through the screen.
“Damn, who will trust a pilot with really bad anger issues?” he clicked his tongue and chuckles before grabbing his things to go leave for his flight.

A/n: it’s like 4 am and I decided to write this small thing so I apologize for any spelling mistakes, I’m really tired lmao:)
“Please!!” Y/n practically begged.
“No issa’ no babe.” Hobie spoke as he continued to dry off his wet body after he finished his shower. He looked behind him to see her still looking at him with a small pout on her face.
“Ya’ know I don’t like people touchin ma’ hair darling.” He said before walking out the bathroom and to their shared bedroom with Y/n following behind him, still begging to play with his hair.
She sits down on the bed as she watches Hobie change into some clothes. “Not only that, ma’ hair takes time to manage. So if ya’ mess it up, you gon have ta fix it ya?” He asked as she nodded excitedly.
“You’re lucky I’ve been datin you long enough for ya’ to gain my trust to play wit ma hair.” He sits between her legs with his back turned to her.
“Have fun, just don’t mess it up..” He mutters making Y/n smile. She carefully lifts up one of her hands and gently placed it on his hair.
Wow..it’s so soft!
She thought as her smile got bigger. Her fingertips carefully played with his coiled curls and try’s her best to not mess up his hair or get it tangled.
And it smells good too! I wonder what products he uses
The scent of Hobie’s hair filled Y/n’s nose as she softly digger her fingers deeper into his hair until the tips of her fingers were met with his scalp. The tips of her nails scratched his scalp making him hum and roll his head up against her fingers.
“That feels nice?” She asked.
“Nice? It feels fuckin’ amazing, should have trusted you more earlier if dis is what it felt like.” He ranted but then silencing himself shortly after to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and the feeling of Y/n’s fingers play with his hair and massage his scalp.
She continued to massage his head before sneaking in her other hand to give him double relaxation. The second he feels her other hand in his hair as it played with his curls and her original hand still massaged his head, he felt like he was in heaven.
He laid his head back on her lap and looked up at her. “You’re really cute from here love.” He told her making her face turn red. He smirks seeing her flushed face and continuing to let out hums in satisfaction from the pleasure he’s getting.
“Enjoy this moment, don’t be a tease now.” She told him as her hands switched jobs. The hand that was playing with his hair is now massaging his scalp and the one that was massaging his scalp is now playing with his curls.
“By the way, what products do you use? Your hair smells amazing!” She spoke as he opened his eyes and smiles yet again.
“ ‘m not sure love, why don’t ya join me next time to find out for ya self hm?” He says as his smirk grew wider seeing her face get flushed again.
She removed her hands from his hair and crossed her arms. “Alright I’m done.” She said looking away to try to give her face some time to relax from the teasing that Hobie was giving her.
“Ya can’t be mad at me for too long babe.” He said chuckling as his lanky arms reached for her hands and puts her hands back on his hair.
“You wanted this, so enjoy it while it lasts ya?” He cocked a brow while grinning.

Hedge’s Unofficial Ratings of 2024 Adidas Kits That A Few People Asked For This Time
Let’s start strong with Germany! Did someone say kuntenserven?
Everyone’s seen this home kit and rightfully, everyone loves it. It’s just so sexy, how could you not? The crisp clean white paired with the classic adidas stripes, but with that sexy germany flag gradient? oh lord i’m weak at the knees. Naturally it’s helped by the fact that the germans have a pretty sexy colour pallete to work with, but still.Even the diamond detailing like oml. It just looks fire, literally. i love it. -9/10
The away kit meanwhile is kind of spinning my head a bit. I genuinely don’t know if i love it or hate it. in theory i love hot pink kits, but i also fucking hate the purple gradient. if the whole thing was pink i’d say absolutely yes because i genuinely love garish eyesores, but this is just not hitting the spot for me. also what’s with the pattern? this is what i imagine you would see if a hedgehog went down on you. undecided - 5.5/10
Wales’s sense of style reflects their Euros qualifications… in that i’m yet to see either
don’t get me wrong the home isn’t bad, it’s just nothing special, and nothing we haven’t seen before. i like the green and yellow stripes up the side, that’s a nice touch, but other than that i’m left feeling uninspired, which is probably how the welsh feel when they watch their men’s team play. still, i’m sure hayley ladd serves in it so - 6/10
the away kit though? yep that’s fucking ugly. whoever decided that wales should include yellow in their red and green colour scheme needs jail time, and also probably an eye test. what the fuck is that shade? yellow is very hard to make look good so props for trying, but just no. plus they missed the chance for green kits, objectively the best kit colour possible, yet also the most underused. (and don’t say it’s because it blends into the grass because that’s blatantly not true). i like the fun zigzags down the side, but it’s giving reggae, which is absolutely not the vibe that wales gives. should’ve put a big dragon on the front and called it a day - 3/10
Spain, what did I just say about ugly yellow kits?
The home kit is lovely. They didn’t feel the need to push the boat out, but why disrupt a classic? These shades go so well together, and there’s also a very faint but very nice pattern on the shirt if you look closely. its bright, it’s energetic. it’s giving fire, flames and lightning mcqueen. kachow! - 8/10
Away kit is absolutely fucking disgusting. Are adidas capable of making two nice kits for one team? If you asked me to describe the absolute worst shade of yellow i’d picture exactly that. the word that comes to mind is putrid. and as if that wasn’t enough, they decided to pair it with an absolutely clashing shade of turquoise. no thank you. no me gusta - 3/10
No Scotland No Party? Well with this kit, I’m inclined to agree.
Who would’ve thought a tartan football kit could be a good idea? Not me, and yet here comes Scotland, with an actual fucking masterpiece. This home kit is just, wow. I love it. It’s so clever, such a good nod to the country, and it just looks absolutely incredible. I fucking adore it. I don’t have much else to say other than whoever made this knew what they were doing. Good job - 10/10
The away kit meanwhile, is again, astonishingly mid. It’s fine I guess. Very plain, kind of giving the colour scheme of a cartoon character but i can’t put my finger on which one, but it’s still decent. The colours do go well together, and i like how the side panelling, includes that tartan pattern again, which as i already mentioned, is fucking sexy. just maybe stick to the home - 6/10
Hungary for more? Not really.
This is the wales kit. it is pretty much almost exactly just the wales kit. like it’s fine, but it’s just?? idk i’m bored. also why have they got two badges? greedy much? just a bit busy. idk it’s fine i have literally no other thoughts on this. boring! - 6/10
The away kit is boring as fuck too, but i actually like this one a lot. i think white kits have more license to bore. it’s a nice colour scheme too. does look a bit italian though. idk it looks good but i can’t say why. it’s just classic. the centre adidas logo looks good here. it’s the green im telling you. more green please! - 7.5/10
BELGIUM I AM KISSING YOU ON THE MOUTH
oh my god this home kit. i’m in love and i suddenly wish i was belgian. wow. holy shit. who did belgium pay to get a kit this nice? i’m in genuine awe. the sexy sexy maroon colour, paired with black and gold? fuck me sideways. i’m not joking when i say this kit oozes sex. that pattern?? oh my lord. it’s giving luxury velvet chaise longue. its giving old timey men in those smoking jackets, with a glass of whiskey and a cigar. i feel like i’m in the palace of versailles just looking at it. wow belgium, wow. - 11/10
not only that, they did it! they actually gave us two good kits! this one is based off tintin, and who doesn’t fucking love tintin? i adore it. lovely shade of blue, with this gorgeous pattern again, and the collar? collars should only be used if they add something to the kit, and boy does this add a whole fucking lot. thank you tintin you beautiful boy. what a kit. - 10/10
And now we’re back to normal programming with Italy
The common theme with adidas is boredom. At least when i was rating nike i actually had stuff to talk about. these are just okay. like yep okay it’s fine. there’s nothing wrong with it. i like the flag shoulder stripes. but yeah, it’s just there. i’ve forgotten what it looks like already i’m that bored - 6/10
the away kit is exactly the same. to be fair, i do like the asymmetric colour scheme, that’s quite nice. it’s simple, it’s clean, it’s just the italian flag really isn’t it? the collar is nice in fairness. it’s decent. - 7/10
Wow. Mexico. Holy fucking shit. Wow.
i literally am so in love with this kit that i’m lost for words. just everything about this is so stunning that i’m struggling to believe it’s a real adidas kit and not a fan made one from tiktok. this pattern has so much going on yet without being garish or busy, it just works. the colours go together so well, i’m just sat here staring at it with tears in my eyes. it’s art. i love it so much thank you mexico thank you - 11/10
and it just gets better with the away kit? this is so fucking sexy, so clean. it complements the home kit perfectly. it’s such a fun pattern but it’s also so classy, so beautiful. both of these kits invoke mexico without being either stereotypical or same-old same-old. i just love it. i love when kits are different!! more please, everyone else take notes!! - 10/10
Colombia took me a while but I’m actually a fan
i hated this at first because i thought it was just a plain boring yellow kit but then i saw those sexy ombre side panels. i just love red orange yellow colour schemes, like yes they hurt my eyes but it’s just such a sexy combination. fire for real. the yellow prevents it from getting top marks bc yellow is just fugly let’s be real, but overall it’s not bad - 7/10
now, you guys now i feel about black kits. more please!!! black is always sleek, it’s always classy, it’s always cool as fuck! big fan. this also seems abnormally shiny, which like okay serve i guess? the only thing i will say is it’s giving training kits with the orange highlights, but we can’t all be mexico, can we? - 8/10

this home kit is like the definition of couldn’t be arsed. i could’ve done this on microsoft paint. i actually hate sash kits they’re just so fucking boring, and like, they just don’t look that good do they. boring. - 4/10
the away on the other hand? wow wow. this is what colombia wishes it was. this is a sexy fucking black kit, and pairing it with dark red and gold? oh lord yes please. sexy as fuck, plus a cheeky bit of animal print? okayyyy get it. even those little bits at the side that adidas seem obsessed with this year are sexy. it’s reminding me of a cheeky little leg slit in a cheeky little dress, and then you get a cheeky little glimpse of some cheeky little red zebra print thongs. okay word. peru you cheeky little minx, stop teasing me. - 9/10
Chile stayed solid, and you can’t go wrong with that.
these are both just nice kits. the home is classy, it’s just a simple white kit but it looks fresh as hell, and the red swoops look so good. also love that the patterning they’ve used on the red matches the away kit. it’s very simple but it’s clearly thought out and i respect that. they saw the others going ham with crazy patterns and stuck to their guns. it just looks nice. - 7/10
the away is a similar story - nothing flashy, but effortlessly nice. i rate the little pixel pattern, it’s simple but it’s nice. it’s a decent kit. could’ve pushed the boat out a tiny bit more but overall it’s fine. it’s giving national league a tiny bit. respect chile - 7/10
Finally, you can always count on Argentina to serve.
The home kit is just pure argentina innit? like there’s no way you see this kit and see anything other than argentina, and i respect that. it’s just a classic! it’s clean it’s crisp, we’ve seen it all before, but listen, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. can’t go wrong. also i’m a huge believer that gold should only be permitted on a kit if you’ve won something, and so mad respect for these sexy gold highlights.- 8/10
and the away kit? i’m a huge fan. it’s a nice simple kit, they’ve gone for a new shade of blue and it’s pretty sexy. the collar looks so fit here, i love it. what i love the most though, is how they’ve incorporated the usual kit into the swoopy bits? (that’s their official name now i’ve decided). anyway those blue and white stripes just look so yummy, very nautical, i’m a big fan. yay argentina! - 9/10

someone asking about angsty pining fic in the month of our lord april 2024? this was such a lovely surprise 😭 i'm gonna be honest with u anon i'm likely not going to publish 911 fic again BUT because you asked so nicely i'll give you a few older snippets from my draft:
Eddie sighs, breaking the stare. “You have a key, you know,” he says finally. “Feel free to come join me whenever you want.” He turns on his heel and walks back inside to finish his goddamn brownies, leaving Buck standing in the doorway.
It’s silent for a few minutes. He’s in the middle of measuring a tablespoon of espresso powder when Buck steps into the kitchen and shuts the door behind him. Eddie feels the weight of Buck’s gaze on him as he folds the powder into his brownie mixture, but he doesn’t turn to meet his eye until Buck speaks.
“Is that…” Buck falters. He clears his throat. “Is that my recipe?”
“Yeah,” Eddie says gruffly. “Chris asked me to make it. Said he wanted to share it with his friends when they come over tomorrow for their playdate.”
Buck snorts. “Man, you can’t call it that. Chris nearly bit my head off last time I tried. Kept reminding me that ‘playdates are for kids, Buck,’ and that he’s not a kid anymore.”
Buck emphasizes that last bit with air quotes, and Eddie can’t help but grin at that. But his smile fades instantly, remembering the somber look on Buck’s face when he’d opened the door. He highly doubts that Buck came over just to commiserate about the trials and tribulations of watching Christopher grow up.
Eddie bites the bullet. “Why are you here, Buck?”
Buck shifts nervously. He shrugs and looks away from Eddie. “I — I don’t know what to say. I don’t know how to answer that. You’ve never asked me that before.”
Eddie scrubs at his face. “I've never had to ask you that, Buck. Things are different now. You’ve been busy.”

“Wow,” Buck says acidly, all traces of heartbreak gone. “I’ve never heard that one before.”
Eddie frowns. “What?”
“Really, Eddie?” Buck’s voice cracks on the last syllable. He shakes his head. “Unbelievable. Just — unbelievable.”
“Buck — what are you talking about?”
“We were just trying to protect you, Evan," Buck mocks. "You were never supposed to find out. We kept it from you because we love you. Any of that sound familiar to you?”
Eddie’s breath hitches on the word love, because he doesn’t know, he can’t know, but then —
Oh.
Fuck.

Buck: We’ll get through this just like everything else. I promise. It’ll be okay.
Buck: Eddie, did you eat enough today? Should I come by and bring you some food?
Buck: You know you’re still my best friend, right? That’s never going to change, Eddie. Never.
He reacts with a thumbs up or a tap-back heart on most of the messages, too exhausted to do anything else. He replies with a thumbs down to the message about food, certain that he wouldn’t be able to handle seeing Buck so soon. He knows he’ll have to face him in person eventually, but his tired, broken heart just wants to postpone it as much as he can.
The last one, though, is a balm that both soothes and agitates Eddie’s burning, aching heart, and he taps out a brief, Thank you, you too. Always, in response. It feels like too much and not enough all at once, and Eddie wishes once again that he was a little better at resisting Buck, that he didn’t feel that need to reply to his every message lest Buck worry even more about him.
The only one he actually acknowledges is a message that comes in at 2:43 AM on Sunday. As he opens the message, Eddie absentmindedly wonders if Buck’s having a hard time falling asleep for the same reason as him. Probably.
It’s a link to a new exhibit at the Griffith Observatory, accompanied by a text that reads: Can I take Christopher here next weekend?
Eddie squeezes back tears as he replies with a brief, Of course, and puts his phone down, letting the darkness swallow him again.

Hen beats him to it. “What happened, Buck? I thought you really liked her. Weren’t you planning to introduce her to Maddie and Chimney next week?”
“Not anymore,” Buck mutters. “I broke up with her.”
“What?” Eddie snaps head snaps up. “Why?”
Buck doesn’t meet his gaze, his lip quivering. The rest of their team is watching them, eyes darting back and forth, and Buck blinks hesitantly before swallowing down a sip of coffee. He wipes the cream off of his upper lip and looks Eddie in the eye.
“You know why,” Buck whispers.

- it made them wanna crush you. what? this industry is brutal and it’d be kinder to break you in a little now! well, thats what they thought, but you only responded to their condescending comments and childish teasing with your increasingly dwindling patience and maturity.. maybe you could survive here after all.
- their teasing went from malicious to just trying to banter with you.. wait- why did you tell on them?! they got pulled aside and told to be nicer to the new actress.. you snitch! how could you? they came running towards you and started crying out an apology, in a familiarly childish and bratty way.

- you were exhausted after every shooting since they always asked to spend time with you, and even on free days when they blew up your phone with sending cute selfies of them.. how did they get your number? isn’t it obvious? they asked the film crew! besides, you’re lucky they even have your number on their phone!
- you weren’t free from them even after production ended.. because for some reason, all the films and shows you were casted to come on, they were casted as well.. its especially odd with how many times you’ve been offered to play the female lead of a romance movie, with them as your main love interest.
- but this was hardly a coincidence, their connections sure came in handy here. they made sure you either took all the roles they gave you, or none at all. you were just so unprofessional during that important first movie that nobody else would cast you! so just take these and act with them again! they didn’t wanna act without you as the female lead!
- they would lie, sabotage and cry.. whatever it took for you to hang out with them again. they even stalked all your social medias and wanted more of you. so they decided to make more content about you! they took as many photos as they could, during makeup and dressing, during filming.. during your daily life.. wherever and whenever there was a chance for a photo to be taken without you knowing. how could they not? you’re just so precious!
- they constantly nagged you to go out with them and they acted all cute to keep you from getting too angry at them.. and if it doesn’t work, they can always cry.. you had such a soft spot for their tears.. you’re too good for this industry, doll face. you should just move in with them so you can hang out all the time! they’ll bring in all money!
- they tried to be nice and ask politely but if you refused.. they’d use their last resort. they starting crying and insisted the two of you go get drinks again at the cafe they liked. because you made them cry! its your fault! dummy y/n!
- once they were calm again, they went through with their last resort because it just wasn’t worth letting others see your acting.. it wasn’t worth letting others see you at all! thankfully, they lovingly took you in after you passed out after you finishing drinking your favorite tea/coffee.
- they brought you to your home, your new forever home! isn’t that so kind of them? they have top security since they’re such a top-grade actor! theres no way you’ll escape now.. and its really your fault, doll face. they gave you the nice way but you chose the hard way!
- if you even suggest leaving, they’ll start crying and throwing a fit about you not loving them.. and if you actually try to escape.. well, they’re not above breaking your legs, only to tend to you like the sweetheart they are.. it was your fault, doll face.
its always your fault they have to go to such extremes. but why don’t you forget about this for now and cuddle while watching your fateful first film together again? you know they won’t take a “no” doll face.
