I made this AAAAGES ago and forgot to post it and now I'm annoyed by how it's rotting away on my phone so here. Bratty teen Thancred being a menace to Fourchenault (and a bad influence on Urianger lol)

Whatever expression it was that layered across Lucifer’s face Adam refused to acknowledge. He’s words were forced and leaded down with a hollowness he rarely laid bared, but enforced them with an aged sternness. Adam turned away, ignoring the nest’s careful arrangements as he all but stumbled out.

Something fall, disrupting the eery quiet from the room’s only other occupant, but Adam refused to look. Refused to share in the consequences of having shared that nest.

And how much that would bother Adam whom is so scared of being both insufficient and abandoned again. He’s convinced that Lucifer’s burst of insanity is empty nest syndrome combined with Lilith’s leaving. Lilith, the alpha that could mark Lucifer, could bond with him in a way that Adam can’t…

It’s best to forget this episode…and return to heaven as soon as possible.
