I don't remember if I ever made a post about this, but for a long time I thought Griffin made up the whole clone pod thing to give Barry an excuse to get his body back again and then eventually also Magnus, and that that was a cool little world building thing. But I found out a while go that no, apparently it's a real spell called Clone from the Player's Handbook. 8th level necromancy wizard spell.

Also, it takes specifically 120 days for a body to form completely, which means that technically, Barry could have popped into his body again since before Petals lol

In the spell description, it also says that you can make the body younger, and I love the fact that he had that option but chose to keep himself the same age anyway

Also, since Magnus first gave Garfield his blood during the interlude before Crystal Kingdom, technically his body would have been ready since around the Eleventh Hour, and Garfield decided to just hold on to it for another few months without doing anything with it lmao

I was so worried and felt kinda lame having just one fic to my name and felt like a broken record as I desperately pointed to it when I wanted to recommend my work. and ofc I am still very proud of it and like to see how my writing has grown and evolved, but now I have more than doubled my word count and added 30 fics and have a variety of things i can be proud of

The other three in the Summer Blubbin' set are drying bc the pinbacks came off with their rear protective sheets and I had to glue them back on. 😭 I'm pretty happy with their sizes overall! Bogos binted came out kind of large and the raygun came out kind of small by comparison though, so I'll probably see what I can do to fix them. And with the Blubby pins, I might lower the opacity of her blush, it printed kinda dark.

In addition to these I got a few extra designs for funsies. Some TMBG pins based off the Hotel Detective MV for my friends and I who are going to see them this year!! 🤩 One with that WTTH photo I did a redraw of, just for me. And two JFKs (Clone High) bc I thought they'd make funny collar pins hehe. I keep meaning to watch the new season but I want to watch the original again first... hard to find the time!!

Ok also so I got my eyebrow and nose piercings back in... march, I think? I was supposed to go back in to get the bars changed out some time ago but I never did. Largely bc my eyebrow piercing has Not been healing smoothly (keep accidently banging it and getting it caught on things so it doesn't wanna heal) but I think the long bar has been actively hindering my healing (making it easier to get caught on things) so I decided to change it out Myself. Bought some new smaller jewelry online and it got here today and

I'm not generally squeamish when it comes to my own body. Like pain, blood, whatever. Don't rly care.

That, though... that took some effort.

But I did it! Smaller jewelry to hopefully make healing a little smoother from here on out. I also got some new jewelry for my nose stud that'll get here tomorrow. That one at least won't be a huge deal, since the nose piercing has healed so much more smoothly, thankfully.

Regarding the "showing off" ask, it is kinda funny how so far everytime MC acts like a badass in a fight, no one is there to look, Clem was passed out against the big monster fight, and in ch2, everyone was dealing with their own fights to notice MC fighting. Maybe only Lea knows because of working with MC for years.

don't worry, while everyone was mostly occupied, they still saw enough 👀

but yeah Lea is definitely aware of the hunter's abilities, and it's mentioned briefly in game but at the start of the two of them being paired together, they were very competent; their partnership only started deteriorating after an otherwise relatively successful first few years.

Significantly less of a shoutout to my body for APPARENTLY having the exact same physical cues for both “going to pass out from low blood sugar/dehydration” and an anxiety attack
