DC x DP Prompt *3*

! TW GORE !

The members of the Justice League Dark have seen many things. But nothing was so dangerous and stupid at the same time, as these laws.

Constantin was the first to hear about them. While he was dealing with more supernatural threats than normal over the last two month. After the last five being he banished - who all have screeched about white monsters who stole him -, he couldn't ignore the pattern.

He didn't get an exact answer, to who this him was, but Zatanna and Captain Marvel also heard some rumors.

After some time, they found out about the Ghost Investigation Ward and... if they didn't do something quickly there would be war. And a war with the dead would be a losing war.

Who ever they took seems to be important to the realm, so they could possibly retaliate any moment.

So while Zatanna, Superman, Aquaman and Green Arrow where discussing these laws with the president, the rest of the Justice League would summon the Ghost King to offer negotiations.

All the magicians had felt when the tyrant Pariah Dark had been dethroned. And it had been like there was fresh air for the very first time. The new king was rumored to be kind and fair, but also fiercely protective. So hopefully he would be open to talk.

They even used a form of summoning that was more of an invitation, so that he could choose not to speak to them. It wouldn't be good to further anger the realms or their king.

While they tried to summon the High King of all the realms, the gentle Tug that they sent his way was answered with a desperate hold.

It was hard to hold the spell with the being clawing metaphorically at the line. But after a far to long time the pressure eased and a rift in reality opened.

A body landed with a dull thud in the middle of the summoning circle.

Everyone in the room has seen something horrific, but even someone as stoic as the bat, seemed to be sick.

In the middle of the watchtower laid a boy, maybe sixteen. His right eye was lifeless, despite the fact that he was looking around. The other one was missing and the eyesocket was bleeding sluggishly in green. His white hair had flecks of green in it. The right hand seemed to be broken, but more concerning was his left hand. Half of his pinkie finger was missing, as was the entirety of his middle finger. The rest of his fingers were without nails. And then there was his left foot... only attached by a thin strap of flesh and muscle. But all of that was nothing in comparison with the Y-shaped wound in his torso.

All of it was so distracting that they at first all missed the crown of ice above his head. The realms had screamed at them to get their king back.

As fast as they could the heros rushed the boy king into the medbay. At least Flash was here, so that they could get everything ready asap.

And Danny?

Danny was finally able to close his eye and drift into unconscious without white, orange or teal suits hovering over him.

having the hc that minato is ace is incredibly funny sometimes when you think about how ryoji is oh so very bi because it's like. "ah. death stole my ability to be attracted to people," in the same way that ryoji stole minato's eye color and energy level. like wow, thanks ryoji, you just keep finding things to steal from minato!

#persona 3 spoilers #minato arisato #hc and au nonsense #lizzy speaks #happy international asexuality day to my fellow aces out there i hope you know that you are loved!!! 🎊🎉🥳#i like viewing minato with the lens of him being gay / ace. esp bc it stems from my own experiences so it's fun to look at-#him from that perspective even if that's not what was intended by atlus y'know?#and im sure others have other hcs from me that are informed by their own life experiences and i think that's great ^_^#something that i found interesting while playing FES was how. stilted? minato's animations felt when hugging the girls #you could definitely go with the perspective that it's a graphical limitation or they didn't have time to polish the animations #and that's def true!! but sometimes i see the hug @ yakushima beach + the other hugs and then i compare it to the sou/yo hug in p4 #and there's like... a noticeable difference to me with how intimate and close together the hugs are...#that said i do know that the animations for reload are updated and the hugs are much more natural (good on them tbh!)#the other thing is (pensive sigh). the way you couldn't reject any of the girls when doing their social links in FES #objectively speaking i'm glad that they did away with that and i like how the rejections were handled in reload. it feels naturally written #but also a part of me enjoyed looking at the “hey atlus what the FUCK” moment and thought of how to interpret it differently #specifically with the idea of minato having like.. little to no autonomy and kind of going along with the relationship #it kind of reminded me of myself tbh with like going along with the rship without considering what you want bc #it's what others want or expect out of you... LOL. i dont think atlus intended for someone to interpret it this way but #eh i think that's the fun part of hcs and looking at characters with certain lenses!#regardless of how you perceive minato i do think there's something to be said about him being the kind of guy who molds himself-#into someone that is needed. not wanted. but needed. important distinction here.#the one caveat my brain runs into when im like “minato is ace!” is when i remember thanatos exists and i go #“you know what these ideas can exist simultaneously” GKLHFHDFHD when in doubt schrodinger's headcanons #anyway that's all i've had this thought in my brain in awhile and haven't sat down to share it properly until now 👍#have an excellent weekend everyone !!! lizzy loves you all lets all nurture our inner yippee!!! 🥺💙

now that ive read a handful of superman comics i genuinely don't understand why all-star is always the go-to comic to recommend for newbies

it's a good story, sure, but it's one that i feel like would resonate more with seasoned fans rather than someone who's new to superman who wants to see what all the hype is about

#Star's Art #Star Collabs #Pizza Tower #Peppino Spaghetti #The Noise #Pizza #Coolness #Seriously it's unreal that Pizza Tower's finally out #I remember first hearing of it not that long before I joined tumblr and was sold on the concept instantaneously #The artstyle and animation in general is GORGEOUS and I particularly love the Wario Land series from a gameplay perspective...#... so combining those two aspects together into one game makes for a bellissimo pizza pie!#Speaking of Pizza Tower's artstyle... this piece yet again proves that I'm a master of replicating styles I find #Shrimp had originally drawn Peppino full-res but I had the idea of scaling him down a bit and spriting over it for that true PT panache #I even primarily used Aseprite— the drawing software used to create PT's graphics— to make this collab look the best it could be #THAT'S how big of a stickler for details I am.#I do intend on drawing some more stuff for Pizza Tower seeing as I HAVE drawn Peppino a good few times...#... though a collab between Shrimp and I seemed like the perfect breakout post for PT's release! ✨

Various images from the past year or so... posting my evil little photo diary collections once again..

#image commentary in tags once again since they don't allow captions anymore and I feel weird using the alt text for that --#1. one of the billions of pastel sky photos I take and post constnaly because I'm obsessed with the sky lol 2. I got #a gardening mama (like cooking mama) game from a friend a few years ago and don't really play it that much since it's not #as interesting to me in some ways but.. I do like the graphics a lot. It'd be cool if in real life when you did something correclty a bunch #of little rainbows and sparkles appeared in front of you lol. 3. Everyone makes fun of me but this is how I like to have sandwiches #.. basically a salad in between two pieces of bread. barely any meat and cheese but then like 2 inches of lettuce and tomatoes and stuff..#half an entire head of iceberg lettuce on one sandwich... the Cronch... 4. Weird little light colored spider doing a split on the netting #of this strawberry garden. 5. ice creambe... 6. tiny tiny babey strawberry son.. 7. Went to someone's house and they #had this weird channel (I guess for halloween?) where it was like 8 different channels playing at once and you could watch them all #simultaneously (I don't think this is the intended purpose of it I think it's more just to show what's currently airing)#but it's kind of surreal and interesting.. with how on tiktoc and stuff they have those weird sensory overhwleming #videos where its' like 3 videos playing at once with unrelated audio. I wonder if one day people will just watch 8 screens #of tv at once like this after everyone offically has only a 2 second attention span lol. To me its kind of hard to pay attention #to but is an interesting excercise I guess. Like it was a cool challenge to try to watch it all at the same time #8. THE temperature indoors at NIGHT during the late summer........... AUGH.....#9. a pleasant little breakfast of scrambled eggs with green onion. baked salmon. sauteed corn. and a few almonds pecans and pineapple #leftover from making smoothies with it the day before. I eat basically the same rotation of things for every single meal every single #day (like literally I have had the same exact breakfast for about 2 years with zero variation except for special occasion) so whenever I do #actually have the energy to make something different or I have some interesting food for some special occasion reason. I feel more #inclined to document it lol.. like.. oooooo...eggs.. Which are normal to some people. but to me it's like.. wow... revolutionary.. so #different from my usual Scheduled Bland Stomach Problems Safety Gruel lol.#photo diary #spiders tw

I finally got Baldur's Gate 3 but why does my gaming laptop run it like ass 😭

#i can load skyrim with 1400+ mods no problem #i can load dao and da2 with mods that make their graphics and ai more complicated than either of those games ever intended just fine #i can load sims 4 with mountains of add on packs and mods with no issues whatsoever #why is it that my computer SPECIFICALLY cannot handle: dragon age inquisition. minecraft. and apparently fucking baldurs gate 😭#i know my graphics card is good! and ive already checked that its using the right one #the game even auto selected ultra settings bc it detected how good my gpu is #(ive tried turning the graphics down anyways but that didnt fix it)#is it bc my internet is slow? but ive already turned off all the online settings. is there more that i need to do to take the game offline?#(why would it be using the internet during cutscenes tho??)#is it a ram issue??? bc i could get some better ram sticks #i would just like to be able to start a battle or initiate conversations or autosave or watch a cutscene without my computer shitting itsel #P L E A S E 😭#rambling

having a little thinky think about William and Henry's dynamic and I can't help myself but imagine Henry as a bit of a shut in, not many friends, pretty focused on his work : so when William comes into the picture he's like 'aw man here's this really passionate guy about business and he seems so driven and sure he's a little quirky but people say that about me :) ' and then William indirectly becomes Henry's best friend but it's one of those one sided friendships yknow what I mean??

I PAY FOR PARAMOUNT PLUS! It's literally the only streaming service i pay for!

i'm almost halfway through season 2 and i could have been watching them with graphic that don't give me a headache! damn it!

Okay so I recorded a video of me getting a no-hit run on Fantoccio, but unfortunately my computer is weak, and the video has approximately 2.3 frames per second. Enjoy if you can

#asks #i already had to turn all the graphics settings down just to get it to run smoothly #and it ran smooth while i was playing it!#but my computer couldn't handle both running the game and recording the screen #anyway just kinda wanted to show off #if i had a nickel for every time i got attached to a hard challenge in a demo i'd have 3 nickels #there's something so pure about demos you know?#no exp no items no currency no progression #just raw gameplay #that's more of an “individual level” thing than a demo thing #but demos bring that experience to games that would otherwise be consumed by distractions like equipment or exp #specifically monster hunter #in games like monster hunter the answer to a difficult challenge is “get better gear”#people like to say “your character doesn't level up in monster hunter your SKILLS do”#but that becomes more literal than they intended when you realize that stronger armor gives you better skills and stats #your character absolutely levels up in monster hunter but by equipment instead of exp #but in a demo? there's no equipment no materials no super-powerful consumable items #there's just a vampire elder dragon and the butterknife they gave you to fight with #this probably doesn't apply to Billie Bust Up tho it's just a music-platformer #definitely buying it when it comes out

#manifesting it its one of the semi clunky 3ds games #i feel like the clunkiest most awkward early 3ds games deserve a remaster the most. still vouching for a gates to infinity remake #literally just skip sky it doesnt need it its already perfect. gti is dragged down by its very clunky graphics and controls #and itd be better if that got a remaster and we can see the glacier palace how it was intended #(bc like go back to the gti animated trailer and see how much prettier the entire presentation is #and i dont think its purely the different medium bc psmd and pmd dx also look gorgeous and vibrant)#bc they were more used to the 3d medium by then #echoed voice

I turned the n64 emulator all the way down to original resolution and it made the graphics look good, actually

#the gigantic pixels were the reason that everything was designed like that #so that it would read on a low res blurry screen #the visuals not being clear are part of the intended experience #its like removing the paint strokes from a painting then complaining about how flat it looks now #your imagination will fill in the rest if you just let it #is that still a thing #do people not need to do that as much anymore so now people can't fill the detail in with their imaginations #it made my imagination engage a lot better at least #you don't see big flat polygons with trees painted on them you just see the trees you understand that it represents trees #you see enough to understand “thats trees” convincingly at that resolution #the graphics aren't bad you're just looking at them wrong or whatever #something meant to be viewed the size of a post it is going to look weird on the jumbotron right?#i switched to rmg and i particularly like the texture that the dithering brings to the table #i kind of wish there were some sort of of crt blur/scanline simulation option but i can just sit farther away from the screen i guess #who would have imagined that viewing things the way they were intended makes them work more effectively

Every once in awhile I delude myself into thinking my fashion sense has evolved, maybe matured - and then BAMM i see a really cool graphic tee shirt and i am reduced to my former self who could only be described to look like a dirty skaterboy who is in fact NOT a boy and DOESN'T SKATE EITHER. Is this who I truly am at my core? Or do my looks deceive others?
