Woke Up 360 Pounds

I have been in a place where I am struggling trying to deal with everything I have going on with my life and I decided I should start writing it all down. I guess I could keep my own private journal but I thought making it public could help a lot of other people as well who may be going through the same things I am going through. 

Today I woke up and grabbed a pair of shorts I brought on my last trip to Miami in October. I put them on and they felt/looked a bit tight on me. Let’s be honest, I’ve been over 300 pounds for a few years now but last year I had a trainer for a couple of months and was working out a lot which helped me shed a lot of fat around my waist and just feel better in general. A lot happened between July of last year and now, I don’t think I ever worked out between August-December. I tried to work out a few times in January but I have struggled to keep a habit of it. 

Anyways, here I am at 360 pounds, something definitely needs to change. There is nothing healthy or good feeling about being this big. The pounds definitely take a toll on your body. I have to really get myself together. I have been fortunate to have my WFH extended indefinitely for now so I need to take advantage and work out and eat well. My goal is to lose 8-10 pounds a month. I hope I can do it! OR SHOULD I SAY...I WILL DO IT!

218 Lbs.

So, recently I finished a surrogacy. Pre- pregnancy I had gone from 235 lbs to 170 lbs. While I was pregnant, my weight shot up to almost 250 lbs. As of last night, I weight 218 lbs, and I hate it. It eats at me drives me crazy. I am 2 and a half months post partum. Normally I bounce back pretty quickly, but this pregnancy, I had a c section. Which in itself is a whole different recovery process. It is major surgery after all. 

The thing is, I dont feel like I’m that big. It’s not til I try to wear my clothes and either they don’t fit, or my fat rolls over and it just makes me sick. 

I’m trying to work on self discipline. Last time I lost weight, it wasnt because I was dieting and exercising. It was mostly me not eating, some illicit drug use, and walking EVERYWHERE in 120 degree dry heat. Jeans, boots, jacket and all. 

This time, I wana do it right. So I’m coming to the one place that I truly feel like my self. Maybe by writing about it and putting it out there, I’ll feel more inclined to go through with it. I know I’m gonna fuck up.. probably a lot, but I’m not gonna give up this time.
