TES GILF Poll Round 1
We've had Sexymen, we may be getting sexywomen soon, so how about crowning the Elder Scrolls' No. 1 GILF?
Many thanks to @elavoria for providing me with a large variety of Morrowind and Oblivion elderly to choose from. All characters are chosen at their oldest age.

My masterlist of Skyrim takes:
Both the Imperials and Stormcloaks can eat my ass.
Isran is a piece of shit
I don’t like Brynjolf.
Ancano, Vingalmo, Ondolemar, Garan Marethi, Teldryn Sero and Arch-Curate Vyrthur are the hottest male NPCs.
The companions are a flop.
Ysgramor and Wuuthrad suck.
Muiri’s unsolicited affections gave me the ick
Morthal is my favourite area.
The Ravencrone and Blackbriar women could get it any day.
I’d fuck a hagraven out of curiosity.
Frostbite spiders are adorable
I love Cicero’s voice.
Nazeem is just funny. So are the girls at Radiant Raiment. They all served cunt.
The Reach is for the Forsworn.
In every playthrough I make sure to beat the shit out of Rolff Stone-Fist and scare the fuck out of Mikael.
Mage and double dagger runs are the best.
Destruction and Conjuration are lazy.
My favourite discreet way to assassinate annoying NPCs is to reverse pickpocket poisons and poisoned apples into their inventories, sit back and watch. Alternatively, I like casting frenzy / reverse pickpocketing frenzy potions into their inventories and watching chaos unfold.
I have to purposely paralyse myself at least once in every playthrough, whether through licking Netch Jelly or chewing Corkbulb Root.
Idgrod Ravencrone is the best jarl.
Erikur deserves a slow death.
Delphine’s also a piece of shit.
Astrid instantly pissed me off.
I love just collecting and reading all the books.
The carriage driver Bjorlam (Whiterun) is SO HOT and for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Who made him so fine and why??
Ondolemar is a sweet baby. Even if you refuse to get the amulet for him, he doesn’t get pissy with you (unlike a certain touchy redheaded thief in Riften).
Some people get annoyed with Faendal showing up if you marry Camilla Valerius. I say two for the price of one, in this household we share. How can you be mad at getting a free bosmer femboy? A boyfriend of my wife’s is a boyfriend of mine.
(Will add more soon. If you want me to elaborate on any of these points, just drop an ask.)

riverwood, riften, and solitude for the skyrim asks!!
Riverwood - Hadvar or Ralof? Why?
Tumblr media
To actually answer your question: 9 times out of 10 it is usually Hadvar. I typically side with the Empire in my playthrough (with one exception) and Hadvar's got a lot of good boy energy. Plus he's just got some of the better lines compared to Ralof, ie the infamous "Dragonborn, huh? Was it your ma or your pa that was the dragon?"
Riften - What's your favorite guild? How do you feel about their questline?
Man, I don't...I don't really like the guilds in Skyrim. None of them are well constructed or well written enough to hold my attention. I guess if I had to give it to one it'd be the Dark Brotherhood, but even that feels like a pale imitation of its Oblivion predecessor.
Solitude - Who's your favorite Jarl? Who's your least favorite? Why these?
I've never thought about the Jarls too deeply but if I had to choose I think Elisif is my favorite with Idgrod Ravencrone close behind. I love young, naïve beauties being thrust into positions of power and watching them try to navigate that, and Ravencrone is old and eccentric enough to be charming.
Least favorite is probably Korir for the crime of being stupid.

WIP Wednesday
It is once again WIP Wednesday! Thanks for the tag, @dirty-bosmer and @thequeenofthewinter! I’m continuing the theme of “snowberry-crostata relearns how to draw.” I’ve been thinking about the Clothing of Skyrim series that I’ve been writing and wanted to try drawing some of it out. Turns out, drawing people is damn hard.
I started with Whiterun and wasn’t pleased with how the clothes were coming out, so I switched over to the female jarls instead. I might slap some color on this when I’m done. I’m fairly happy with the progress I’m making on being able to translate what’s in my brain onto a screen. From left to right, it’s Idgrod Ravencrone (my fav), Elisif the Fair, and Laila Law-Giver.

Work-in-Progress Wednesday
Helllllooooooo Hellions and Hellsite users, 'tis I. Your hostess with the most-est, Winter. And things are just getting started for the Moot. Today, I have for you: Mythical. Magical. Mystical. Idgrod Ravencrone.
Side Note: Things with writing this chapter have been going a bit slowly because I was sick last week, and well, I'm in the middle of primetime grading university essays. It is somewhat likely I won't be posting this week. I am working though! I have 4500 words...and I have only just started writing Moot things. It's likely this chapter is going to be pretty long when I do finish.
Tagging: @oblivions-dawn @sneaksandsweets @blossom-adventures @mareenavee @rainpebble3 @rose-like-the-phoenix and anyone else who would like to participate. I love seeing what others write. <3
Voices begin to swell in the background as the room buzzes with the sounds of gossip. It would seem that not even Jarls are immune to the draw of a good scandal, even if they would want to avoid being talked about themselves. If nothing else, this is certainly an interesting way to commence today’s events.
“If you would all quiet down and take your seats, I’d like to begin. We have a long day ahead of us.” Vignar makes his way to the head of the long table.
Quickly, Ulfric and Dahlia find the last available chairs which happen to be next to Idgrod Ravencrone. They both incline their heads in respect towards the older Jarl despite her prior affiliations and despite the strange visions she claims to have.
Idgrod returns the gesture, first nodding to Ulfric himself and then extending a hand to Dahlia which she reluctantly takes. It is not that she doesn’t wish to take it, but rather that she is afraid of what she will see. While some do not believe in Idgrod’s power, the Dragonborn has had enough brushes with the fantastical and surreal to know that one does not make such claims lightly.
Deep grey eyes narrow as Idgrod grips Dahlia’s hand tightly before turning it over and running wrinkled fingers over the lines of her palm. Soft noises, hums, and mumbled words, fall from her her mouth as she makes a thorough inspection of her palm—all with no explanation or further elaboration.
All the while Ulfric is the only one who pays her any mind, watching carefully with sharp eyes as it appears that Idgrod has lost herself to her cloudy-eyed visions. After all, why should the other Jarls give her a second glance? At one time or another, they all have fallen victim to her parlor trick, and none of them have found anything extraordinary in her cheap magics. Besides, they all have far more important things to attend to. Their eyes are all trained with apt attention to the welcoming words Vignar offers them.
However, Ulfric is ready. One of his hands has already made its way down to the head of his war axe. Should she make one wrong movement—
“Jarl Ulfric, I mean your wife no harm.” Idgrod snaps his attention from his blade up to her, as she gives him a cryptic smile. “I bid you and your family good tidings.” She pats the back of Dahlia’s hand before letting it drop suddenly.
Dahlia blinks back at the aging Jarl, not sure what to make of her words to Ulfric, and frowning sightly.
“Don’t frown at me, child. The expression doesn’t suit you,” she tells her but not unkindly. “Besides, we are going to have an interesting next few hours, don’t you think? And you’re going to have some very interesting days ahead of you. You’ll need all the smiles you can manage. We all will.”

I have uhhhh a new Skyrim OC again. Probably the strongest mage I’ve ever made (I love Severin but he’s a lickle necromancer and everything he summons kills the enemies for him. He persuaded Ancano not to be a dick… this guy would wipe the floor with him). His name is Gwalchmai, an altmer mage specialising in everything EXCEPT conjuration. He doesn’t like conjuring things to do all the work for him. He likes being creative, the fucken psychopath.
He gets on extremely well with Taliesin (maybe a bit too well if you catch my drift) and for some reason he also enjoys Lucien’s company (although Lucien refers to him as ‘Bran’ because Gwalchmai told him to - Gwalchmai witnessed Lucien pronounce his name once with the kiki ‘ch’ instead of the bouba ‘ch’ and was mortified). He lives in Morthal, has a slightly more than friendly rivalry with Sybille Stentor 🥴 and plays court wizard to Jarl Idgrod Ravencrone, because who better to keep the vampires in check in Morthal than another territorial vampire with the spellcasting equivalent of nukes for hands?
Tumblr media
Gwalchmai wants Taliesin almost as much as Lucien wants Gwalchmai. He also has a horse named Annwn.
Anyway. Have some aesthetic screenshots of him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
His context? He came to Skyrim as a follower of Julianos, seeking to learn more about his deity by living in the rectory in the temple of the divines. He soon fucked around and found out with Sybille Stentor, however, and hopped out of Solitude and into Morthal - out of her territory - to become Court Wizard to Idgrod. He worries he’s stepped on Falion’s toes, but Falion doesn’t give a fuck; at least with Gwalchmai as the Court Wizard now, the townsfolk don’t hound him as much.
Out of the frying pan and into the fire, though, because now Gwalchmai has to assert himself over Movarth Piquine, and unlike Alva, I don’t think he’s going to be able to fuck his way out of this one.

solitude!
Solitude - Who's your favorite Jarl? Who's your least favorite? Why these?
I think I have to say elisif... there's so much going on with her and so many ways to interpret her character and the position she's in. she is the most interesting for sure. idgrod ravencrone is a close second though I love a rad old woman who sees beyond the veil and loves to play pranks at important events
as to my least favourite... I can't name them because my least favourites are the boring ones I don't remember. this game has so many mediocre guys who lounge around in the throne pose. all of the jarls should be far-seeing old women or young women in extremely difficult circumstances I would care about them then
